You forgot one important archetype. I call it The Lawman. Basically the guy or gal who works with some law enforcement agency, tries hunting down the team at first but over time realizes they aren't really threatening to anyone and usually finds ways to ignore them in favor of taking the real bad guys. You know, like Sterling essentially.
So is the site constantly going up/down for you guys too or is it just my end? That and the holidays are what's been keeping me from posting.
Good question.
Name: Chad Yoshida

Alias: Ronin

Powers: Athleticism from martial arts training. Kendo expert. Enhanced strength and fighting prowess, but only while armored. Possesses a family katana capable of donning him in powerful samurai armor.

Weakness: Much of his strength and skill and granted by his sword and armor. Remove those, and you remove much of what makes him super.

Experience: While he's been practicing Kendo and Judo most of his life, Chad is still new to the armor and its abilities.

Appearance:
Normal
Armored

Age: 27

Brief Bio: Chad's grandparents immigrated to America from Nagasaki in 1939, just before the Second World War. From Japan, they brought with them a sword passed down in the family for generations. The sword, called Ryuuken, was the blade wielded by Ryuunosuke Yoshida, a samurai of the early 12th century and ancestor of the Yoshida's. They settled in New York, eventually having a son named Katsuo. When he grew up, Katsuo left New York for Millennium City, where he eventually married Chad's mother, Ellen Eriksen. When he was born, Katsuo honored Ellen's request to name their son after her late father, Major Chad Eriksen, a US Army Officer who was killed in action during the war, specifically the Invasion of Normandy.

Having grown up in Millennium City, Chad grew to know the streets and districts like the back of his hand. He also grew up pretty well off, his father having started a successful business empire known as YoshidaCorp, which specialized in medical research in response to the rise of people with superhuman abilities. Katsuo had made it his passion to study these individuals and use that knowledge to push the boundaries of medical science. Chad had been pressured into following his father's footsteps, but found himself more interested in his ancestral history, spending many weekends and summer vacations in New York where his grandparents told him many stories of Ryuunosuke Yoshida, and even teaching him the same martial arts styles Ryuunosuke had been famous for. When they passed away, the Ryuuken was left to Chad, whom they described as "a more suitable holder for the sword". Chad's father grew mysteriously more distant after this, though Chad never could figure out why. He soon got his answers.

One night while handling the Ryuuken, the sword to glow with an eerie light. Chad then heard a voice in his mind, "You who wield the Ryuuken, do you accept its power?" the voice seemed to emanate from the blade itself. Bewildered, Chad said the first thing that popped into his head, "Yes..." he responded, and with that the blade flashed a brilliant light, and Chad suddenly found himself wearing the armor of a samurai. Once this happened, the voice from the sword became more clear. It was Ryuunosuke, or rather his spirit, that he said had been sealed into the sword long ago. He explained to Chad that he once wielded his sword in the name of justice, and that he believed Chad to be a worthy successor to his power. Chad also realized that this must have been the cause of his father's change. Katsuo must have known about the sword's power and wanted it himself, only for Chad to get it instead. Chad took up the sword, and has since used it to fight crime and evil as a masked warrior called Ronin.

Notes: Chad is a decent fighter, but is by no means a master. If the situation is bad enough, Ryuunosuke's spirit can temporarily take control of Chad's body to fight in his place, though this apparently is a costly maneuver, as the sword becomes temporarily depowered after the act is finished and mush recharge before the armor can be donned again.

Commitment: I'm willing to post as often as needed to keep the RP going.
@Sez: It's not a staff, it's a spear.
Made an alteration to the rules regarding Summons. Here it is:

Summons will be handled slightly differently. Rather than learning them as any other ability, they will be obtained in one of two ways: Charms (a la Kingdom Hearts 2) which, like in the game they originated in, are items to be carried around and (by that logic) usable by anyone who's carrying them; the other method of gaining summons is related to the overarching storyline. The difference between these methods is simple: Charms apply to Disney Character summons (eg Dumbo, Tinker Bell, etc), the other method will apply to Final Fantasy summons (eg Ifrit, Shiva, etc).
Okay, sorry for the massive delay but I finally posted. Feel free to finish off the boss.

Once it's dead, you can award yourselves with a new Minor Ability.
Elim's weapon, now a morning star, did considerable damage to the red ice, even cracking it in places. In fact it was near a point of shattering which, theoretically, would destroy the giant. Unfortunately, the Gravity Spell wore off before a final blow could be struck, then giant reformed itself and was ready for a third round. This time, though, getting the red ice to appear wouldn't be so easy, as Simo would find his magical stamina to be at its limit, meaning another Gravity spell just wouldn't be possible until he was able to rest, which the giant had no intention giving to the two. Unfortunately, this meant another strategy would be needed to end this fight once and for all.

That opportunity seemed to present itself when the doors to the ice palace flew open, with Elsa running outside fleeing from something. She stopped briefly when she found the bridge to be out, but a single gesture caused the ice to grow back somewhat, giving her a means to descend down to where the giant stood ready to attack. Just as the monster had raised a hand to strike again, it was suddenly halted, "Stop!" Elsa cried, the giant turning to look at its creator in obedience, "They're not intruders, so stand down-" she blinked in surprise, seeing a pool of darkness forming at the creature's feet and slowly overtaking it. Elsa could even feel the control she had over it slowly slip away, "No!" she exclaimed, now thrusting her palms forward. Instead of commanding the creature, she used her power to forcibly tear away at the snow of its body until the red ice was in view, "You must finish it before I lose control! Hurry!"

Meanwhile, as Serene neared the trees, she would hear voice calling, "Psst! Quick, over here!" it was Ana, who was in hiding along with Kristoff and Sven, "So? Is it over now?" asked the Princess, apparently assuming that Serene coming to find her meant that the battle was over.

Moments Earlier

The Pirate Heartless lunged forward, flying right at Jared in a frontal charge. Jared held up the Keyblade defensively, managing to catch the Heartless's attack and redirect it elsewhere. The thing's back was briefly turned toward him, and Jared was quick to take the opportunity to strike at it's back. He also noticed the door was no longer blocked off, "Quick! Go join the others!" he told Elsa, who hesitated, "Just go! I'll catch up as soon I finish here!" Elsa then made for the door. The Pirate Heartless moved to stop her, but Jared was able to put himself between them and force it continue fighting him while she made her escape.

"What's wrong? Scared to fight me so you go after the girl?" taunted Jared before he lunged forward to continue their fight, which had now become a duel between himself and the Pirate Heartless.
I'm basically trying to decide if I want the fight to reach its conclusion or if I should let it go for a little longer.
