I've been wanting to, but then I had to go and get sick and I'm still not quite over that and, ugh, real life suuuuucks.
Rei glanced behind him at Sayuri. He was right, his privacy had indeed not lasted long at all. He looked forward again, this time looking up at the stars and holding his arms behind his head, "He's patronizing me, I just know it." no, Rei didn't mean that at all, but he was just in one of those moods that made people say things they didn't really mean. He spotted a shooting star just then and closed his eyes, actually making a wish that the Master would change his mind. Yeah, like that would actually work. Can't blame a guy for trying. "So what are you doing way out here? I mean I'd be asleep by now if I were in your shoes." he sat back down on the grass with a heavy sigh. He had to admit he was pretty tired by now, but going back home meant talking to the Master and he didn't feel like dealing with that just yet. No, he was much more interested in just relaxing under the stars for a while longer.
Yes, we still are. Anyway, post, getting one up now.
Is there a certain posting order/frequency we want?
Was mainly just seeing if Phantom was gonna post or not. If they don't, then I may have to assume they lost interest or something because I'm not letting the absence of a single player grind the RP to a halt.
Probably.
Camelot sounds interesting but what about the world of Frozen or Big Hero 6, I'm not sure if you guys had mentioned those yet. Even Incredible would be pretty epic. Disney have a few shows that are hilarious and fun too.
Er... Frozen isn't happening. I tried using it once for another RP and things went so horribly slowly the RP died as a result. Frozen is just too dull from an action RPG point of view to work that well.
As promised the IC is now open for business.
Prologue: Land of Departure
It was a starry night, as usual. On the summit, near the forecourt of the castle, there was a training ground, within it a series of rings hanging on spinning poles to act as targets for practice. But just beyond that was a cliff side where one could get a near perfect view of the night sky. In this particular place, a boy sat on the grass, leaned back against the rock. He looked relaxed, but in reality was anything but that. Instead, he was frustrated, angry even. Events that had transpired earlier that day had put him in a sour mood. He'd come up this place to be alone for a while, but knew it wouldn't last. He figured someone would eventually come by to check on him, but he'd at least get a few moments to himself to think before then, "What's his deal? He's not being fair at all..." said the boy in a mumbled tone as he thought back to earlier that day. A Few Hours Ago "What?" asked Rei in a raised tone, "What do you mean I don't get to take the exam? Why?" he clenched his fists angrily. He and his Master, Yen Sid, were not alone in the main hall of the castle. No, the other Apprentices were gathered as well, and had just been informed that they would be allowed to take the Mark of Mastery Exam tomorrow morning. All of them, that is, except for Rei. Rei stood in angry defiance of Yen Sid's decision, admittedly making a scene but honestly didn't care. "You're not ready yet, Reiner." said Yen Sid, keeping his composure and not even raising his voice, "There is always next time, after all. The discussion is closed. You're all dismissed." well, the discussion may have been over officially, but Yen Sid hadn't heard the last of Rei's complaints. For the rest of the day, once they were home in the Master's tower, Rei tried again and again to change Yen Sid's mind but to no avail. After a while Rei just got fed up with it and stormed out. He'd found his way to the cliff side at the training sight and remained there until well after night fall. Now "Ah, come on!" Rei said, raising his voice as he suddenly got up from the ground. He swung his fist, punching the air in front of him in frustration, "What do they got that I don't? I'm pretty sure I trained just as much as them, so what's the big secret?" he then just sighed, now starting to feel more depressed than angry. He jammed his fists into his pockets and kicked at the grass, "Why do I have to be the one that falls behind...?"
STAR WARS!
Phantom Wanderer
Marvel and Star Wars are not options. Disney does technically own them, but I'd rather not include their convoluted storylines into KH's already convoluted continuity. Main problem with them is those are entire universes as opposed to just a single world like everything else generally is. And yeah, as much I like Lilo Stitch, we can't use that world because of timeline reasons. Anyway, I won't reveal any of the extra worlds (stuff that isn't actually Disney) but as far as the actual Disney stuff is concerned:
  • Enchanted Forest: Since the classic Disney movies aren't an option, I thought using their Once Upon A Time counterparts would be a decent way to compensate. Admit it, a Boss encounter against Rumplestiltskin would be pretty darn amazing.
  • Treasure Planet: Um, why hasn't this been done yet? A space-faring adventure included in a series that includes Space travel seems like it would be a no-brainer, but apparently Square would rather us go back to Olympus for the umpteenth time to compete in the umpteenth tournament in a row.
  • Atlantis: This one, along with Treasure Planet, would make for some visually stunning environments to explore.
  • Camelot: Sooooo, Merlin's been in the games since KH1, why have we not done a Sword in the Stone world again?
Daigo simply crossed his arms in thought. So this Ebemon brought them all here because of the missing Digimon? Finally, something was piquing his interest. Daigo remembered the incident well. He was participating in a Rumble tournament when in it happened, and it was the final round no less. The incident robbed him of a championship title, and he never forgot it. But if this Ebemon was correct about the group of tamers being able to solve the mystery, then maybe Digimon could return to the real world. If that happened, then competitions like the Rumble Arena could start up again, "What do you think, Elecmon?" he asked the Digimon in a hushed tone. "Hard to say," said Elecmon thoughtfully, "but it sounds like he needs all the help he can get." "In that case..." Daigo's voice trailed off, but then he uncrossed his arms and addressed Ebemon once again, "Well, Ebemon, you definitely have my attention. Perhaps, then, you could explain what this is?" he held out the Digivice that found its way into his possession, "This thing just appeared in my pocket when I clicked your email. The message even advised for me to check it. I assume that means you created it, or know what it is at the very least."
