<Snipped quote by Ariamis>

Not to mention "NOTICE MY COOL MECH SENPAI" is not exactly a good start with fellow players.

But if Senpai doesn't notice my cool mech, how will he ever come to love me?

Well shit. The darker of the red heads and the guy with the mohawk were following her, and trying to hide it really badly. Mali turned back to face forward and pretended like she didn't see them. If they knew she was onto them, it would probably only encourage them. The idea to try using public transit to throw them off briefly crossed her mind, and while it wasn't a bad idea per se, if they managed to follow her on one, she'd be stuck with them in a metal tube for longer than she would want to be (at all).

The good part about knowing you're being trailed is that you know where you need to go, but they didn't. Mali pulled out her phone and checked the battery level. 64%. She made a mental note to charge it overnight more often rather than forgetting about it entirely. But for her purposes (finding her way back home either by bus, walking, or whatever), it would suffice. From there, Mali would turn corners mostly at random and as often as possible. After about 20 minutes she would pull out her phone again, pulling up her internet browser, only to be greeted by the homepage filled with news on how somebody else who lived at Boston Heights had just been found dead in a fountain by the park. Not only that, it was also the guy who lived right above her with that Russian chick.

She didn't really know how she should react. After all, she didn't really know the guy, but two deaths within essentially half a day of each other was certainly cause for concern even if they turned out to be completely unrelated from one another. She did make another mental note to not go around that park for a week or ten. These apartments had to have some sort of voodoo curse placed on the or something.

Bringing her mind back to the task at hand, Mali looked backwards to make sure she still wasn't being followed. So far they had been some persistent bastards, but she didn't think that they would be persistent enough to follow her for longer than a quarter of an hour. Meanwhile on her phone she pulled up bus routes to see if there was a stop nearby and what the routes/schedule were, and if she would be able to make it back to the apartments that way. Even if it would take longer than just walking back, at this point Mali just wanted to sit down and take a break at this point.

Cyne was about to answer Satilla's question when there was a sudden known at the door. Who could it be right here at this time of day? Turns out it was a half orc. That was the... third one she'd seen in 3 days? By Gaia, this was the most number of half orcs she had seen in one area since she was a kid. Any more and she would have to suspect something was up. Was there some kind of half-orc convention here that she was never told about?

Dubious number of half-breeds in the area aside, this newcomer was certainly a drink of water. A mostly naked, very muscular drink at that. He had a lot of weapons on him, so he was probably an adventurer of some kind. That, or this would be the weirdest orc ambush yet. One would think that they would just break the door down or jump through the windows if it was one.

"Oh, yeah, if you could heal these burns it would be great. They certainly didn't make the trip here any better. Maybe next time I shouldn't try going after a spellcaster if I'm in a fight." Cyneburg pulled up her clothing away and to the side, revealing the burns on her torso to the open air, where it would be more easily accessible to Satilla. The sensation caused her to suck in a bit of air, but she managed to keep silent otherwise.
Everything seemed to happen around Roger in silence. Well, not really. Truth be told, the entire situation was quite noisy when you got down to it, from the humming of the Framewerk's cockpit, the crash of the drop, the static of the newly jammed Command Channel the wet squishing of the formation of Mist, and the hell fire that destroyed the Squad Leader's machine to the state of scrap metal. The thing is that all this sound, this noise was something in the background. The situation was rather dire, but none of it seemed real. It processed that Harold was dead and they were surrounded by Cruxi, but none of it felt real.

A few things did register, like the fact that everyone else seemed to have some plan of action by the way that their Framewerks were moving, and that he would need to get moving if he didn't want to go out like a bitch. Sigma seemed to be firing at one of the snipers and Serah at one of those big, tentacle mother fuckers. Roger tightened his grip on the controls of the Framewerk and willed it to move over to stay by the smaller machines.

"I've got your backs," he said, changing the comms channel to talk to the girls. "We aren't going to make it through this if we don't stick together." He doubted that they would make it out alive, but he wouldn't say that. They would need to spread out some eventually to avoid potential AoEs, but the dangers of spreading out were far more significant at the moment. He pulled the trigger to his machine gun and let it open fire all over the Tentacle beast. If anything else, it would help act as suppressive fire.
*Is immensely out of the loop*

This exactly how I feel. But apparently everything's fine now (even though I didn't know anything was wrong in the first place), so hooray?

@Mr Rage
Like the others have said there's stil more people. Also, even though @Dragoknighte has informed on what Yeager will do, I still want him to post IC as well.

Sorry I've been taking so long, will get in a post today
A little something I've been working on.

Quoted to current page.

Yeager will move to A5 with Atty and attack A3/act as support to Serah

Cyneburg blinked a couple times, realizing she was awake. Her body immediately felt stiff since it was leaning on the wall rather than being in any kind of suitable sleeping position on the floor, but that didn't bother her too much. She had sleep like a log and felt markedly better than she had when sleep took her. She could shapeshift again, a feeling that was pretty bomb. Being stuck in humanoid was like not being able to change your clothes. They got really dirty and worn out and there would be nothing you could do about it. The druid stretched her arms out, but winced from sudden pain that struck both her sides. Oh yeah. She was still covered in burns. If whatsherface still wasn't able to heal those up yet, she would need to prepare a salve to deal with them. Cyne blinked again and noticed Kyra and the gypsy having a conversation.

"Good morning." It was proper people etiquette to say such things to people when you first woke up. But then again, this group didn't seem like it adhered to such a thing as manners all that often. Which was convenient, because people etiquette sometimes (oftentimes) slipped her mind. Cyne pushed herself up into a standing with her walking stick/axe and took a peek outside. If her weathersense yesterday was of any indication, it would probably still be raining, but you could never be completely sure unless you looked outside.
