Ummm, his current project is just what he is trying to make right now. Also, he would definitely join the inventors guild, though he would try to avoid the politics. Though he can do stuff that would inadvertently effect the politics.

Ummm, I can't order it, I'm not in the tank right now. And it has to be a prediction cause its a strategy that relies on predicting the actions of the other party. As such, I will continue to predict what they will do with the full understanding that I'll probably be wrong. :)
@Kazemitsu cause I'm shitting

Mikhail lounged about on the Madrys, her own personal junk heap. Suddenly, a flash of sparks flew out of the wall to her right. The cause of it was a tiny white spider that was currently replacing a rusty pit in the wall. Mikhail had purchased this ship for next to nothing, which was a great deal for her. It had been a foundry ship, equipped with facilities to both melt down and form sheets of metal.

Sadly, the ship’s docking bay was currently empty as the mining droids were a LOT more expensive. Sighing, Mikhail sat up in her seat, her coat trailing after her. Blowing the hair out of her face, Mikhail made her way to the bridge. Almost immediately, an alarm flashed across Mikhail’s vision. A message was being transmitted, and it was on the emergency frequency, the only one Mikhail left on. “Play it!” She called out. Of course, she didn’t have to do that, she could have just ordered one of her spiders to do it, but alas, sound was far better than silence.

The message blared across the ship’s speakers. A woman, trapped in space. Well, it didn’t matter to Mikhail. The woman stopped in her tracks though. WHat had she said? Free tech? “Drive On! Now!” Mikhail began running to the bridge, ordering her spiders to punch in the coordinates and get the engines revved up. Looking around, there was at least one spider every few feet on Mikhail’s ship, which would probably be terrifying to some as many of the lights were never on. Why would you turn the lights on if you could see in the dark?

Reaching the bridge, Mikhail’s voice rang out, “Set engines to warp! We’re heading over now!”

Personality

Darren has a personable, if untrusting, personality. If he had it his way, he would never interact with another person ever again. However, that doesn’t tend to happen, sadly. He doesn’t try to hide his past, Darren is constantly wearing the banner of the Dragon Priests around his waist, more out of mockery than pride. He aims to see their destruction.

Backstory

Darren was raised among Dragon Priests. Chosen at an early age, he grew up among their ranks, learning their skills. This was where he developed his magic, and his sword skills. And all was well, until Darren fell in love. She was a slave girl, no one of importance. But her eyes were the most captivating thing in the world to Darren. Her name was Brynhild, a nordic slave. It had taken a long time, but Darren eventually got her to speak to him. Of course, her silence was from fear. However, the older Dragon Priests began to notice Darren’s interest in the girl. Fearing that she might pull him away from his studies, they ordered for her ‘disappearance’. Of course, the young Darren, only fifteen at the time, searched for her with every moment of time he had.

Eventually he learned the truth, the Dragon Priests had killed her. In his rage, Darren destroyed half of the temple, bringing rubble down around him. Leaving, he hasn’t been heard of again. In his absence, Darren has developed his unique summoning magic, more of a tribute to Brynhild and a comfort for the man than anything else. After developing his magic and growing stronger, Darren has decided that now was the time to show his face again. Clad in steel, the banner of Dragon Priests around his waist, Darren will rain retribution on the world.
Rodion followed the duo as they led him down to the Karamzina. Passing the Grace, Rodion could not help but to comment on the ship. “Deva, I must commend your work on the Grace. Functionality is beauty, and in that sense, your Grace is truly a looker.” His emotionless voice carried out from his pale throat. However, he stopped breathing as the Karamzina came into view. It was an absolutely beautiful ship.

Her sleek back curved gracefully, looking more like a beautiful glass sculpture than a machine of war. The long, thin fins stretched down underneath her. The engine rooms were located towards the front, underneath the main body of the beast. The Red Circle of Varya being the only thing to truly mar the beautiful creation. The fins, working as the hearth systems, circulating the ether throughout the ship, heating it with the engines themselves. “T’sukasa, that is, quite possibly, one of the most beautiful pieces of machinery that I have ever seen. Being biased, I must say that Madrys here is more beautiful, though.” Rodin’s attempt at humor failed as his face refused to change its expression. The dead pan features, sharp and handsome, though cold and distant, could not hide the light in the man’s eyes.

Walking up to the glass wall, Rodion studied the ship as well as he could. “T’sukasa, by chance, may a have the priviledge of seeing her blueprints?” Rodion’s breath began to fog up the glass, obscuring his view. Tearing himself away from the great, metal leviathan, Rodion’s eyes met Deva’s. Light blue and a blue that rivaled the ocean behind him. “That goes the same for you, Deva. If I may, I would like to study the Grace as well. If I remember correctly, you have been assigned as its head engineer, correct?” Rodion looked at the Karamzina from the corner of his eye. It truly was a beautiful machine and Rodion doubted if even T’sarae could have made it better.

Rodion tugged at the goggles around his neck. He couldn’t wait to get on the ship itself. As soon as he could get his feet on board, Rodion would be able to truly ‘see’ the ship. He would be able to feel the ether pulsing throughout the ship’s systems. The weight that had been riding on his shoulders lifted slightly as he began to anticipate the wondrous machinery within the vehicle. Undoubtedly, Rodion would be able to convert some of the principles into his own work. Ideas, unbidden and flowing, began to grow in Rodion’s mind. Thousands of ideas, combinations of different systems, grew in Rodion’s mind. Imagine, a core big enough for the Karamzina, a beast to hunt the great oceans. Yes, Rodion was a child of Varya. He was hungry, insatiable, but T’sarae also influenced him. His insatiable hunger wished for knowledge, creativity, and all things new.
