@rush99999 There was, it's destroyed. I did this for two reasons, one so you guys had a "cleared zone" that you could build your own province should you wish (and Party #2 took that opportunity) and the second reason simply being making maps is the most time-consuming thing I have to do. They have to be designed and balanced over and over again. Like I said before, I'm not able to just pull from some D&D book with established lore, locations, and creatures. I'm having to make this day by day and I've sunk 3-6 hours a day designing or leading sessions in order to get where we are now. I will be adding more, always, but you have to understand that takes time.

@rush99999 Many, to avoid spoilers I'll simply say there is not a province capable of purchasing your loot for quite some distance. Party #2 is building one in The Eastern Forest a few regions from you but they've just claimed it and have yet to build anything there.

Edit #1: @rush99999 I pinged you on discord but you must be offline, if you want Fahall to be either solo or in a separate "party" just let me know and you can go do whatever you want without the need of the party. However I will say that I won't hold back, I'll throw the same creatures at you I would a party and it'll be up to you to overcome them or die trying.

Races

Human - Most common sentient race of Khoyee and the islands surrounding it.

Race Passive Abillity
Family Taught: Start with + 1 Primary or Secondary Role Skillpoint

Dwarf - Human-like in build, short in height, and masculine in both men and women.

Hard to Hit: +1 to miss on rolls against you. (1-8 miss chance becomes 1-9 miss chance)

Elfein - Forest spirits in the shape of man made of plant with wisp at their core.

Regrowth: +10% Health recovery per turn during combat.

Draken - Humanoid Drakes, hailing from the burning isles, these creatures are fierce and have a history of conflict with human kind.

Hot Scales - A Draken's scales are hard and spark like flint, strikes against a Draken's scales can be used to ignite flammable objects.

New Character +

If your character dies you can choose to start anew or start as a New Character +. If you want to continue playing with your current party it is recommended that you play as a New Character +.

New Character +: When a player dies they can pick back up as a New Character + in the next province their party reaches. This new character will start with higher stats than a brand new character but have lower stats than the character that died. General Level will be 25% lower than their previous character and all Role levels will reduced by one. Stat Points and Role Points can be spent as desired. When you die, and it doesn't look like the party will be wiped, you should take the time between battle and traveling to come up with your New Character + and give a reason for them to join up with your last character's party.

Party Wipe: If your party is wiped it is up to you and your dm if you all start as new game + characters or start over with brand new characters.

Killed by Players: If you are all killed by other players then there are additional rules to prevent both parties from killing each other over and over again until your levels are far lower. Refer to Killing Players and Causing Chaos for more information.

Stats

Stats have a major impact on how your character performs in battle. Two characters could have the same skill set but behave completely differently in battle because of their stat distribution.

Aura - Most damage is first dealt to aura, when this is depleted health will begin recieving damage. This replenishes after every battle or encounter.

Health - Characters and creatures are alive as long as they have heatlh, when this hits 0 they die. Health replenishes from meals and rest.

Strength - Increases damage with strength weapons and increases stun affliction.

Dex - Increases damage with dex weapons and piercing damage.

Intelligence - Increases effectiveness of casting spells, blessings, hexes, and summonings.

Fortitude - Resistance to piercing and stun. Each point adds +25 Stun Resist +1 Pierce Resist.

Wanted to mention that encounter rolls, rolls which decide if you encounter creatures to battle, happen whenever you enter a new area (the small locations within a region) this means that unless you want to fight creatures solo make sure your party is with you. You guys can discuss in OOC which direction you want to go and if you're going together. I will do encounter rolls each time you enter a new area. So if Fahall the Frozen for example goes off on his own, he will run into an encounter just like the party would.

Resource Points

Before you can craft or construct something in Khoyee you’ll need the resources to do so. You could purchase the required resources but this requires a fair amount of capital to do so and would be difficult to do so early on before you’ve established yourself in the lands of Khoyee. For most resources your main source of resources will be resource points which are points in which resources respawn every Khoyee Day (3 real time days), the exception to this would be meat which can be earned through cleaning creatures or raising creatures on a ranch. Harvesting resources is simple, you simply need the skill to do and the proper tool. When you find a resource point you wish to harvest roll a D20 and collect the resources shown in the resource list.

Harvesting Without the Proper Skill
Some resources like ore can give lower quality drops if you happen to have the proper tool but not the proper skill. Ore Shards for example are tiny pieces of ore that are worth 5x less than a chunk of ore.

Resource Drop Rate
Whenever you gather at a resource point you are guaranteed to get some resources, the amount of loot depends on your roll. The results are as follows...

D20:

1-5 = 1 Resource
6-10 = 2 Resources
11-15 = 3 Resources
16-20 = 4 Resources

So if you have the proper skill to gather Tier I Herbs and rolled a 12 at a resource point, you would gather 3 Tier I Herbs. If you didn’t have the proper skill but had the proper tool for Tier I Herbs, then you would gather 3 Tier I Herb Seeds.

Resource Experience Rates
Gathering any resource increases your Gathering Role experience. The amount of experience provided is based on the Tier of the Resource, the quality of the resource (ore shard compared to ore chunk), and how much you gather of it.

Edit #1: Added a burial and spirit system. Player spirits are hostile creatures that can come in a few forms (forms not yet listed) To avoid the wrath of a haunted spirit then give them a proper burial and put their soul to rest!

Fallen Players and Haunted Spirits

When a player dies within your party there are a few possible things you can do with it. Properly burying a body reduces the chance of their spirit lingering in the realm of the living.
