Oliver smiled and gave a thumbs-up. Seeing the man who had freed them, he hugged him, ignoring the blood. His eyes lit up, and he started writing again. After a while, what was the final product said this. 'Come with us? Nice sailor! :) Need help? How bad are wounds?' He pointed at it urgently, wanting to know the situation here.
Name: Aaron Berr
Age: 15
Gender: Male

Personality: Aaron is a calm and collected boy, and usually friendly to anyone. He tends to think a lot, and doesn't talk much.
Short Bio: Aaron lived a mostly normal life, getting A's and B's, and doing well in Athletics. When the virus came, he witnessed his mother die after getting his birthday cake on her way to the car. He was devastated, but tries to maintain a neutral attitude towards what he considers an apocalypse.
Weapon: A sniper rifle him and his dad used to hunt with, their only way of bonding after the divorce. He also has a multi-tool, that he had from being a Cub Scout.
Skills: Good aim, and great aim at moving targets. He also has basic survival knowledge.

The world ended at night. October 6th, 2020, 10:32 PM, to be exact. Anyone on the streets panicked, blood covering the walls of buildings. The virus killed everyone. Everyone except for those who stayed inside. No one outside could get inside, and those who did, died immediately after. It could only affect you at night. Widespread panic occurred quickly. There were quarantines issued, but whoever had the virus died anyways. Body after blood-smeared body on the streets. Only about a 3%, a handful, of the human race survived.

Salisbury, Maryland. A small city by most people's standards, but the carnage occurred here, like everywhere else. A surprising amount survived here. About 100 people. There is trading and interaction, but not all is right. There have been sightings. Of creatures...things. Moving in the night. People have gone missing. Everyone now carries a weapon. Worst of all, people have turned against each other.

No one knows where the virus came from, and why it can only survive at night. All we know is that our future is looking grim.

Aaron stood at the window, sighing. Today was his fifteenth birthday, and also the third year anniversary of the virus appearing. As soon as he saw the sun starting to disappear from the horizon, he locked up the window, making sure that air couldn’t get in. He walked to the main control room of the grocery store him and his sister were staying at, and turned off the air vents. As an extra precaution, he put on his gas mask, sighing. He walked back upstairs and plopped into a lawn chair, his sniper rifle leaning against it. “It’s going to be a long night.”

Archer relaxed nonchalantly on the ground by the stage where the choosing ceremony would take place. No one seemed to mind, but no one had done as he had. He brushed some dust off of his jacket, and closed his eyes.
Accepted. I have a feeling Archer and Ayumu will get along well.

"Yeah, ice cream sounds great." He sighed and followed Raven. "Do they have malts? And do I have to go to school tomorrow? I really don't feel up to it." He stared at his backpack, with its precious blade inside. "I'm not sure I can think straight, honestly. Bean's not at the best quality." He referred to his blade as Bean, having read the section about giants, and finding it a catchy name.

Archer got up from his table and started to walk to the choosing ceremony, stopping at a small, unnoticed grave in a small park. He picked a few daffodils and dropped them, sighing. He ended up early, seeing the leaders of the regiments preparing.
@Ayemdar
I'm all in.
