Alright, couple of things. One, would I be able to fly for extended periods like Aang if I had a glider? And did the group just go in to the renegade base? I was considering having my character show up at the base right now, in my bio I said he got the message at the end of high school, so about when he's 18 but he's 21 in the RP. I was thinking he got the message early because A) it would take him a long time to be able to get to the group and B) he was training himself and made the glider for himself before making his way so he could fly himself over, if you're allowing glider flight. I was looking at the avatar wikia the other night, airbenders can do some cool stuff so I'm excited. And don't worry, I'd never make my character stupid OP, he'll have weaknesses and all that :)

Awesome :) So what would be a good way for me to jump in to the story right now? I feel like it would be weird if we just acted like I was there the whole time and just never did anything haha

Feel for element: Wayne is pretty indifferent to his element, he's more interested in the idea of just being a special person with an ability to begin with.

Personality: Wayne is a very relaxed guy, always just letting life take him where it may. Wayne discovered his powers just as he finished high school, just as the final bell rang he kind of blacked out and had a vision of mother nature, telling him his element was air. He didn't really understand it, but he figured why not try something so he tried to make a small breeze, and to his surprise it worked. When he got home he tried it again and it worked once more. Wayne played around with this for a while before getting the hang of what he could do, with his home being out of the way it made a very nice training area. Instead of continuing his education, Wayne instead decided to travel the world, at least that's what he told his parents. He would be travelling, but to search out this Phil Ripley, to help him save the world.

Alright, that's a bit unfortunate since Katara does the cool fog stuff, and references waterbending a cloud in the desert episode. But airbenders are cool so I can live with that :)
I think I'll be taking the air character. Now, I figure with air you could move clouds through the sky, but what about weather in general? Like making fog or clouds or something? I could see that as air or water, I've seen it go both ways in RPs before

"Well," Ryo said as he closed the paper, "as much as I'd love for more people to show up I'm thinking this may be all of us." Looking at who was there he thought the group in the room was more than capable of whatever they were about to do. He didn't know his coworkers very well, just their names really, along with a very vague idea of what they could do. But he had faith in his fellow supernaturals, and knew that together they could solve any mystery brought to them.
"Also I figure we may want to get this done soon if at all possible," he continued, "there's a storm coming, and while I love them most people don't and I figure you're no exception. Plus I think Jun is going a little stir crazy and it would really do him some wonders to get out in to the field." Jun's noir detective bit was both funny and a bit too realistic in Ryo's opinion, he figured the kid would perk up once they were actually working.

I'm wondering the same thing my character is wondering, where is everyone else? Two people haven't transferred over their characters yet, plus there's this mystery person we haven't seen anything from yet.
