So how are we going with posting in this RP? I know there's no order, I just personally don't really like going me, someone, me for my posts. So I'd like someone to post before I reply to Merlin IC. Unless we're just saying post all you'd like, then I could probably get another post up in a day or two
Name: Arthur Pendragon
Occupation: Crassus' Steward
Time/Date: Day One, Evening
Location: Banquet Hall/Library
Tagging: Leo, Merlin

The dinner was going how most events had gone since Arthur had officially became the Lord's steward. He stood by Lord Crassus' side, making sure his cup never got too empty. Arthur was surprised though when Emperor Caesar wished to purchase him for himself, and more surprised when his own Lord refused. What was it about him that made the two powerful men want him as their stewards? Perhaps they could see he was meant for greatness and each wanted him for their own ends.

The night became more interesting as the two men brought out fighters to win the right of ownership over Arthur. If he were allowed to admit it he would tell them he was honoured. Instead he just kept silent and made sure his Lord's cup didn't empty. The boy he knew as Leo gave him a strange look as he passed, and he also looked at the food. Some of the other slaves didn't like Arthur since they thought he was treated better because of his position. Maybe in some senses, but if Crassus ever ordered a beating for Arthur he could see the pleasure in the Overseers eyes when they got the chance to beat Crassus' special slave. Arthur made sure not to do anything that would warrant a beating very often.

As the boys fought Arthur couldn't help but think if this is what all powerful people did, just have others fight their battles for them. Arthur didn't like the thought of that, he'd much rather fight his own battles. In reality he'd rather not fight at all, but if it came down to it he'd want to fight rather than stand behind someone else. In the end Leo had lost, and Emperor Caesar told Arthur to come over and fill his cup. Arthur hesitated and looked to his Lord, who held up his arm to keep Arthur where he was. He accused Caesar of cheating, and looking at it Achilles was totally unscathed from the fight. Another competition was set up and Arthur was worried for Leo's fate before Sam Adams had offered to buy him. Lord Adams seemed a good man, Arthur wouldn't mind being his slave, he seemed like the kind of man who would treat his slaves with more respect.

Leo was taken away to be cleaned up and the rest of the dinner went by as Arthur would expect, political things he knew he could do nothing about, so why bother worrying about it. One interesting thing was Lord Adams dropped his handkerchief in front of Arthur, he picked it up and was about to offer it back but then he noticed there was something written on it, something Arthur could read no less. He hid the handkerchief away on his person for later. Once the dinner was over Arthur was dismissed as Lord Crassus retired to bed for the night. Arthur ran as fast as he could to the library, where he figured Merlin would be at this time. "MERLIN?!" He began shouting her name as soon as he was in the library, he knew no one else should be in here at this time. All the important people from the banquet had left from what Arthur saw, and he couldn't wait to tell Merlin what happened and about the secret note he got. "Merlin! Where are you?"
I'll be getting a post up within the next few days. @vosenedich I'm gonna be having Arthur try and find Merlin to discuss the strange note he got from Sam Adams
Great IC post @Holy Soldier, I have a good idea how my post will be going for the most part. I'm just wondering what Arthur does after the banquet? Does he stay by Crassus' side? Is he ordered to help clean the hall because in a weird way losing Leo was his fault? Or should I just react to what happened in the first post and you'll guide me from there?
@vosenedich so what exactly are we going to say Arthur and Merlin's relationship is like at this point in time?
Also @Holy Soldier do you think the other slaves may not like Arthur because they think he has it better being Crassus' personal Steward? And would the overseers treat him better or worse than other slaves? For some reason I feel like they'd give him a harder time than the others.

Age: 10
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Blond
Height: 4'2”
Weight: 70 lbs.
Physique: Scrawny and almost sickly looking
Complexion: Caucasian
Immunities:
Weaknesses: He is not quick to anger, but when Arthur is angry he can be blinded by his rage. Not listening to reason or logic until he feels he has gotten his revenge

Titles & Feats: None

Basic Personality: Arthur is a bit cocky and has grandiose visions of what his future will be like when he isn't a slave anymore (he's also an optimist, can you tell?) He has learned to hide this though, as he's been punished in the past for acting out of line.

Psychological/Social Issues: Arthur was betrayed in his last life. That betrayal lingers and makes it hard for him to fully trust anyone.

Appearance: Arthur is a small, unassuming boy. His head is shaved and he wears very similar clothes to all the other children, no one would ever expect anything from him. When away from his watchers he often has a grin on his face, thinking of life when he is no longer a slave.

Natural Abilities:

Swordplay - Arthur is fairly handy with a sword, but he does not display this skill in public. He wouldn't want to be one of those poor children in the arena. Arthur doubts his ability to kill one of his fellow child slaves.

Evasion - Arthur doesn't like fighting if he doesn't have to. He can usually avoid a blow if he sees it coming. This doesn't work if he doesn't see it coming or an opponent is tricky and attacks from two places at once.

Power:

Teleportation - Arthur can teleport short distances, it works better if he can see his destination.

Companion: None

Relations: Merlin
@Holy Soldier changed the healing to evasion. I can make it a bit better worded tonight if you'd like. I just wrote it in a minute while getting ready for work. I was also considering a natural charm ability that would sometimes be able to make others do things for him. I didn't write that one because I couldn't find a way to word it right in a short time
Alright, got Arthur finished up, not sure if you'd like me to repost it but I edited my original and it's at the top of this page
I just found out King Arthur exists in the marvel universe and I'm tempted to steal powers from there for my character, hmmm
