I've got some ideas for first morphs.

But before that, we need someplace where our heroes can converse in semi-safety. If any of y'all's characters would like to make a suggestion, and then quick time us to whatever location that'd be great.
For what seemed like an eternity Mason wandered about in the forest his best efforts bringing forth nothing but frustration. On and on he went until he stumbled out of the encompassing trees onto a small dirt path. It took Mason a moment to figure out where he was, coming to the conclusion that he must’ve come across the hiking trail, just further down. An odd mix of relief and despair overwhelmed Mason and he closed his eyes in defeat. She was gone, nowhere to be found. He checked his wrist watch, eyes widening when he realized he’d been searching for three hours. Three whole hours, with Emma as a deer lost somewhere in the forest. Trapped permanently in the body of another creature by now. That’s what Elfangor had said, two hours at the most or the morphs body would become their body. Shame weighed heavily on Mason as he silently berated himself. He should’ve told her not to touch the deer. He should’ve known to scare it away. He should have found her and helped her change back. He should’ve stayed away from that construction site in the first place. This was his fault, he should have known better. And what of the others? Adrian, Stephanie, the strange Lalna, and Tammy. He didn’t know them well, but they needed to be warned lest curiosity killed them as well.

Picking up his pace Mason forced his tired legs into a steady jog, running up the hiking trail in the direction he hoped the others were in. It’d been a long time, they might’ve already given up on him and Emma or even come looking for them. Rounding a final corner Mason released a sigh of relief seeing everyone still standing there, looking lost and confused. For a moment he scanned their faces hoping desperately that Emma had somehow returned on her own.

“Hey,” he called, alerting them to his presence. He looked pretty awful, tired, sweaty, with his clothes torn and dirty from brambles. Mason kept his eyes downcast as he approached, only looking up when he drew to a stop, a slight tremor in his voice. “I couldn’t find her, and it’s been too long. She’s d-“ Mason stopped himself, there was no way of knowing for sure if she was dead. Even if they found a body it would be absurd to try and pick her out from another deer. “She’s gone. We need to find someplace safe to talk about this. We need to make sure this never happens again.”
Releasing Talon’s legs Serpentine tucked and rolled as she landed on the roof top. At least she attempted to duck and roll, her landing was more of a crash and burn. Picking herself and hoping Talon and the newcomer hadn’t been watching to closely, Serpentine shook off the queasiness of the brief flying episode. No matter how powerful she was in the suit she still didn’t like heights. She tried not to think about how high up they were at that very moment. Or about how she would get back down, most likely clinging fearfully to Talon’s legs.

“Yes we are, and hopefully she’ll be okay until we can get to her.” Serpentine assured the newcomer. “Nice of you to show up and join us, we were just about to go beat up a bad guy… Again. Except, this time we didn’t know where he was exactly. Which was why Furitta got herself captured. But its all part of the plan, we just have to follow them and they’ll lead us straight to Mr. Johnsen. Then we can destroy his whip and purify the akuma somehow. We’re still working on that part though.” Serpentine realized a little too late that this rushed babble would sound like nonsense to the ill-informed. Slowing down Serpentine took a few calming breaths, reiterating on what was important. “We’ve got a plan, and we know what we’re doing. I think, but we also need to act fast.”

She turned towards Talon. “Hey Talon, do you think you could trace Furitta from the sky? You’re the only one who can fly. We can follow your directions from the ground.”

Great, I'll tag everyone else and make sure they are ok with that as well.

@ayzrules @Aristocles @SupernovaBlitz and then Holly if she returns @Holly

Sixteen players and two drop outs and the RP isn't even past the second page of the interest check. Clearly Avatar role plays are in style.

Definitely, which is why we need to plan our next step so that we have some goal to push for. I’m thinking our characters should have a meeting and are all shook up about the early loss of Emma, and one of them suggests they should ensure they have control over the morphs they pick, so the same thing doesn’t happen to anyone else. Essentially they should practice. And then another character suggests they collect morphs. So our first mission will be them raiding the local pet store/zoo for morphs, and then testing them out in an controllable environment. Which of course all goes terribly wrong.

It’s no hawk that’s for sure. But it shouldn’t be a problem really. Emma could return as a human later on and say she managed to morph out in time and was just lost in the woods.

She did vanish into the woods as a deer. That’s a pretty great way to explain her character’s disappearance.

I’m pretty sure most of us are still here

The first cries hinting at something bad happening reached Serpentine and Talon fairly quickly. Glancing over her shoulder Serpentine gulped at the sight of a number of changed students rounded the street corner ambling over to where the two heroes stood.

“I think I might have an idea.” Serpentine told Furitta and Talon as the students drew closer by the second. “You guys have to trust me though, and Furitta you need to find us. We’re on the corner of Fifth and Wenburry, about a block from the mall. Anyway one of us needs to get ourselves captured, and they’ll take the captured hero straight to him and the other two can follow. We can defeat him the same way as before, then purify the akuma this time. And yeah it did look kind of like a bat Talon. It flew away once his whip broke, remember I told you.”

Now the students were getting very close. Serpentine kept one eye on them as she spoke to Talon and Furitta. “Now, who wants to be bait?”
