The small Machine Digimon had been watching the humans for a while now, hoping to find which of them was supposed to be his partner. All he knew was that his partner would have the yellow Digivice, but seemed the humans had all hidden their powerful devices.
It was clear that no one here had any idea what was going on but Danny was curious about something. "Hey I just remembered that before ending up here, I got my hands on this thing." He reached in his pocket and took out the yellow device that came from his computer screen.
As soon as the Digimon spotted Danny's Digivice, he knew that the kid in the orange shirt had to be his partner. Without thinking about how the humans might react he launched himself at his partner.
Before Danny had any idea what was going, a creature looking a computer mouse with sparks coming from its straight tail head butted him right in the stomach.

David had to admit that Guls had brought up something he had never considered, namely that there were powerful fighter who had no interest in joining the tournament. Before he could reply though Ultra-Dimension interrupted the conversation. Not that David minded because thanks to that he learned that he was talking to a real hero.While he was curious about this whole "Green Swordsman" thing, he decided that if Guls wanted to keep it a secret he wouldn't go blabbing around.
While Ultra-Dimension was talking abut swords David secretly kept his eyes on Light, he had never seen a Majin before and while he didn't want to be rude he was curious. Luckily before he could make a fool out of himself a rocket landed in the middle of the room and while it didn't cause mass panic or anything, it did provide him with something to be interested in. However he had only been "studying" it for a few seconds when something much more exciting happened, the current champion apparently wanted to talk to them.
