Can I have Earth?
Danny saw Kitty dealing with the creature that tried to attack him and realized he had to concentrate on the battle. He decided to go after one of the monsters focused more on the strange crystals than on the battle fully aware that he was taking advantage of the same mistake that almost got him in trouble.
As he snuck up on it, he took out his pocket knife knowing from experience that while getting stabbed in most places seemed just a minor inconvenience thanks to the putties' clay like bodies, their eyes were still vulnerable. Surprisingly enough things went just as he had planned, right until managed to jam the blade of his knife in the creature's left eye after climbing on it's back.
While Danny had indeed managed to partially blind the putty the damage was not enough to actually destroy it, and before he could get his knife back out he was thrown of it's back. While the Ranger was lying on the ground his opponent pulled the knife out of it's eye and in a clear attempt to pay him was now trying to stab both his eyes out with his weapon. By pure luck Danny shielded his face with his right arm just in time meaning that instead of being blinded, he got stabbed in his dominant arm.

They are from Power Rangers in Space and also appeared in the Space/Lost Galaxy team up. You can find more info about them here
Danny was chatting with his oldest brother who had moved to Stone Canyon, when his communicator started beeping.He already knew it meant trouble and would cut the chat short, but he pressed the button anyway."Rangers come in! Rangers come in! There's an emergency at the Highlands Park..." Of course it was Alpha contacting them about what was no doubt one of Rita's schemes. "Let me guess, that witch has finally made her Gingerbread house. Either way I'm headed there now."
Without shutting his computer down or closing the chat, he would have to come up with an excuse later, Danny teleported to the park and saw Adam fighting against living clay monsters. His first instinct was to morph since he and Adam were the only humans in sight, but then he realized that if someone got close enough to see what was happening it would be suspicious if they saw a Ranger fighting alongside a random human. Unfortunately before he could do something, one of the monsters saw him and while changing his arm in a hammer ran towards him.

Background/Brief Bio - The youngest of three brothers, Danny tends to go along with whatever plan someone has come up with. In fact this very tendency is how he ended up in Zordon's base. He doesn't exactly like being a Ranger due to the risks involved but he feels it's too important a task to back out. He isn't a great martial artist, and while fighting mostly relies on his weapons, but he is not terrible either and he has been training for the last year.
Villain of Choice - Darkonda. The untrustworthy bounty hunter from my favorite season so far Power Rangers In Space

I have MMPR, part of Zeo, (Turbo didn't air here in the Netherlands until some time in the 2000's so I never watched that) In space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue Time Force and Wild Force, I'm contently watching Ninja Storm the one with only three Rangers and two side Rangers [navy blue and crimson] and yeah the mentor is indeed a hamster or something.
@rocketrobie2 How did you change what they say when they summon Mecha?
