Climbing out of the car she couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that he mentioned that Harry did kidnap her and try to kill Peter so maybe a pet rock that wouldn’t hurt them would be the best choice. “You know that might be a good idea he couldn’t hurt us… wait…” Her voice trailed off as she shut the door of her bug and locked it shut with a little chirp and the flashing of her headlights. “That might be a bad idea. If I remember correctly, Harry has a hell of a throwing arm on him and it used to take both of us to beat him in a snowball fight.” She said with a nod before walking to him, the snow crunching under her feet as she slipped her arm around her boyfriend’s bicep. “Let’s just not get him something with Spider-Man on it. I don’t think he’d take too kindly to that.” Lexi said in a half joking half serious manner. It seemed like a given but she couldn’t help but say it out loud since they would be finding a lot of that around the mall.

Wondering inside the mall, she kept herself close to Peter, enjoying the feeling of being close to him. It was nice and welcoming. There was no doubt that this young woman loved her man and wished to stay near him. The process of elimination was getting more and more difficult. “So maybe we should split up.” She said to him as they approached the sixth store in an attempt to look.

The agreement was to meet back within the next ten minutes to cut back on time before they found something they thought Harry would enjoy. Lexi blasted through seven stores by herself nearly flashing past a book store. Her shoes pulled her to a stop as she noticed something in the window. “OH!” Her voice squealed with excitement as she pressed her glove covered hands against the glass, a grin flying across her full lips before she pushed herself off the glass and started back towards the area where she was going to meet Peter.

She didn’t have to wait too long before Peter had showed back up and she pulled out her phone to show him the picture that she had taken. “Hey I thought this would be good.” With that she showed him a photo she snapped of a book, Totally MAD. Harry always had a decent sense of humor but what do you get a dying man? With who Peter and Lexi are, it only makes sense for them to give him something that will make him smile and laugh in his life time. Happiness and laughter cures all things… but what Harry has. “What did you find?”
Why was he staring at her?! Did she have sleep marks on her face? Was her bedhead really that bad? Did she have a bugger coming out of her nose?! She wasn’t used to get stared at, not to mention as she was holding a cup out to someone while sitting on their counter. Granted, this wasn’t a common circumstance but still, was that something that would cause him to stare at her. Before her brows could drop into a glare, as if understanding that his staring at alternate ideas, he took the cup from her and looked away. Good you better, you may be cute but I’m not a piece of meat.

While he was working, she slid her long toned body off of the counter only to find herself stretching more. Reaching up to the ceiling than leaning over and touching her toes, every now and then something would crack and loosen only giving her more flexibility which she proceeded to use in her stretches. When she finished, he was handing her a plate; much to her surprise. A small smile curled the corners of her full lips as she took it from him. “Thank you.” She said kindly taking the plate from him and took a seat at the table, kicking her long legs up onto the nearby chair stretching them out.

A small laugh left her through her mouth full of food before she chewed and swallowed. “The fifty fifty split’s going to be nice. I’ll owe you a beer and potato fingers though.” There was a twinkle in her eye, she enjoyed reminding him that he was going to give her half of the money but she hadn’t forgotten that she was meant to pay him back. Maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea after all, he was cute; better looking than some of the other guys she had seen around, and he seemed nice enough. Plus he’s giving her money. Can’t complain there. “So who are we dropping this thing off to anyway?”
“Well I don’t want to get into my personal life Captain, let’s just say I have someone very special in my life and I’d like to treat them to some local food that has been around for some time.” Agent 13’s attention stared straight ahead. His laugh made her heart flutter and her knees would have buckled on her had she not caught herself soon enough. This man, so innocent and sweet yet so brave and strong; and kind, aside from the person he barked at for running into her while they were on the fairy to the Statue of Liberty, she had never see him anywhere close to the point of snapping. He truly was incredible.

Thoughts shifted through her head of where he would suggest by her statement. The little burger diner they hadn’t visited together yet, a nice restaurant that still had its charm from the twenties or something quick like ordering pizza and cuddling on the couch? Any way she was looking forward to it and as it stands, she knew full well that he wouldn’t let her pay. Why? Because that’s just the kind of man he was. How did she know? She had first-hand experience in his gentleman-like manner and knew it to be true.

Something felt funny, almost a tingling in her body and just before the door opened, her body turned slightly, maybe it was because she wanted to look at Steve directly, a fear that Director Fury had found out what was going on between the two of them and she found herself wanting to turn to Steve to seek a small look of reassurance that their secret was still safe. The bell dinged for the doors to open and her body turned ever so slightly…

Ping… Crack “AH!” Agent 13 fell against the elevator doors and tumbled to the ground when the doors open. Her attention moved up to the shocked pencil pushes staring down at her. “GET OUT OF THE WAY!” She shouted in a demanding voice causing everyone to jump, “SOMEONE’S SHOOTING!” Her hand was on outer bicep. Blood began to leak through her fingers as she scooted her way quickly to the corner with her coworkers. “Just a graze nothing to worry about.” She said quickly as she ripped off the bottom part of her shirt and one coworker took it from her and began to bandage of her wound as she pulled out her gun. “Captain do you see anyone nearby? That shot couldn’t have come from very far away!”
Should Anna put in as much effort into being a lady as she did to embarrass Elsa, she’d be quite the princess. But unfortunately for Elsa, that’s not how her sister’s brain works. Anna was never one to be shy, she’s talk to anyone no matter who it was, where they were from or what they looked like… or even what they were, hence her ability to talk to Sven. How that young lady could communicate with a reindeer was beyond her sister comprehension but it was something that Anna apparently learned how to do thanks to Kristoff.

If Elsa could have any gift right now it would be to make herself be as small as possible as she stared directly at her plate, gently cutting the piece of meat that lay on the platter. Was she flirting with Sadon in the forge? Maybe… just a little though, that can’t be a bad thing right?! Even Anna said it wasn’t a bad thing but here she goes again, talking up a store and probing to ask questions about a man she had been talking to. It’s not her fault the man was attractive and not a royal. Elsa could be diplomatic in her communications with people! She was allowed to talk business, she was the queen after all… and if some flirting happens to come up between the topic of business than… well that’s okay, right? Right?!

“You’re going to say yes, right?” Anna asked in an innocent fashion as she eyed the man from across the table.

“Anna…” Elsa said in a soft ‘don’t’ tone.

“If Elsa’s asking for your help than she believes you’re the best for the job. She doesn’t just hand out jobs to anyone.” The looks exchanged between the sisters read as follows:
    Elsa: What are you doing?
Anna: I’m asking if he’s going to stay.
    Elsa: Don’t.
    Anna: Too late.
Anna’s gaze moved back to Sadon and a smile curled her full lips. “While we do our best to take care of the country, it does need some work and an efficient blacksmith that can work in a timely fashion could make a huge impact on our country’s ability to function.” With that Anna placed a piece of meat into her mouth as Elsa looked at her, blue eyes wide in surprise that she would bring up something in such an elegant manner and confirming Elsa’s need for help around the country. Sure the older blacksmith could get everything done but it would take time and some projects… well they didn’t have time to spare.

Blue eyes softening, Elsa turned her attention back to Sadon, “I apologize for my sister’s bluntness…” Before Anna could defend herself she flinched slightly, receiving a kick under the table from her older sister. “But she does have a valid point which I don’t think I’ve informed you of. Our projects, while small, are needed in an amount of time that our country’s blacksmith just can’t accomplish. I don’t know if you had any set price in mind but I’d like to discuss payment further if that will employ you to agree.”
The look on her face read everything. He didn’t tell her about his time at Durmstrang, at least, not enough for her to know of his time playing question. Maybe there were other things he didn’t tell her. The idea made Trenton’s eyebrow quirk in the direction as Parminder said that there wasn’t anything he could do. The banter between the two was fun and it made him smile, his bright white teeth spreading across his face as his blue eyes bounced back and forth from one person to another.

“Annoyingly humble huh?” Trenton repeated as Eric finished sharing the story about her finding the Umbra, who he happened to know on a somewhat personal basis and she was the one who tracked them down. That was impressive. By a personal level, he had worked with them once or twice; a good portion of them were annoying stuck up snobs who insisted on doing things their way; and that’s most likely why they were caught. Listen to the quieter people, they always know more and have better ideas than the loud people.

“Your job is something honorable and you should not only take pride in it but you should also take compliments.” He said in a joking fashion, unable to shake the smile off of his face as his eyes twinkled at her. “Compliments are even harder to come by these days, especially honest ones like you’re receiving from everyone here at the table.” Isn’t it funny to hear someone in his seat to call someone in her job honorable? Well it’s simple. Without order there can be no chaos and there’s rules that must be followed. Trenton knew better than to attack an Auror and members of the Ministry, they were not what his job was. His job was control and, believe it or not, it doesn’t always come with killing people.

“Trenton, how do you know Mister Gigliotti?” Morgania asked as she took up her wine glass and sipped, her eyes searching the young man’s face but the very obvious thought pattern had nothing to do with what she was asking. Her mind was digging deeper into the possibilities of what could have happened between the two of them if she was younger.

The young man’s eyes dropped slightly, sadness following into them as he remembered the first time he had met the old man. “I had just graduated Durmstrang…” He began. “I came home from school to find my parents dead in their bed. My home was destroyed from head to toe, things were stolen, everything was broken and I had no choice but to run in fear because I thought someone would come back to finish the job of my family.” A small shrug lifted his shoulders but his gaze stayed on the table as he shared his true story. He didn’t have an issue talking about it but it still… as you can imagine, was a tender subject. “The first two years of my life I spent living on the streets, partaking in street fighting and magical dueling to make money. I went into a bar that Mister Gigliotti owned and ended up being involved in a bar fight. I beat up one of his best fighters and he asked me if I was looking for a job. Soon after he employed me as a bouncer for the bar and I’ve been doing odds and ends for him ever since. He helped get me off the streets and gave me money so I could live.” His eyes turned upwards to see the sorrow and apology in the faces of the table and he gave a shrug. “I’ve learned to live life and just enjoy it. There’s no point in lingering and no point in dwelling on the past when you can’t change it. You just need to make a better future right?”

“Why aren’t you an Auror?” Mister Bernard asked bluntly; the type of story that Trenton shared it typically the story drives someone to become an Auror.

“I appreciate all Aurors do, but as a loyal citizen I want to work to help make the city a better place from the inside outwards while the Aurors work from the outside in. Somewhere we’ll meet in the middle and chaos will subside. At least, that’s my hope.”

“That’s very noble of you son. No one really considers working from the inside to clean things up because the little things do affect the big picture as well.”

“Plus.” Trenton added with a grin. “We have an example of two amazing Aurors keeping the big picture safe and under control at the table here with us.” With that he turned his blue gaze to the two with a small nod of his head. “Thank you two for all your hard work and keeping all of us safe. We truly appreciate it.” At his comment the other two at the table nodded towards the Aurors, acknowledging them for their work.

“It’s okay for you to have a crush on someone Elsa, you know this right?” Anna said softly in almost a side manner as she placed a few pieces of meat onto her plate.

Elsa however, grew silent. Her blonde head was buzzing with Anna’s words. Did she actually understand that it was okay for her to like someone? Could she really let herself like someone? Could she allow her feelings to cloud her judgment and open herself up to the possibility of love outside of her family’s? Was there such a thing? That in itself was hard to believe because Elsa never really pictured herself with someone. Between Hans and his brothers wanting revenge against the kingdom, as they were fed with some horrible story that it was all Elsa and Anna’s doing for their brother to return so unlike himself. “I… I…”

“Elsa,” Anna said placing her hand on her sister’s wrist, stopping her from grabbing something with the set of tongs that she was using. “Elsa, it’s okay to be nervous. You can be nervous and even a little shy but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it.” A smile moved across her full lips, a gentle smile that was both reassuring and comforting towards her older sister.

The corner of Elsa’s lips curled into a smile before she nodded softly to her. Anna had a point, it was okay to be shy, it was okay to be nervous but she needed to remember to enjoy the feeling as well. A small sigh left her as she place some potatoes onto her plate and turned on her small heel with Anna on her feet as the two made their way to where the seating was. “Ooohhh there they are.”

“They?” Was all Elsa could repeat before her sister took off in a direction, somehow pinpointing her husband through the massive amount of people! A small laugh left Elsa as she followed her after her sister and found the men sitting at the table. “I’m fairly certain you must always point North Kristoff because Anna’s internal compass can seemed to find you in any situation.” Elsa said, a small hint of joking to her tone as she took the spot between Sadon and Anna at the four person table. She gently tucked her dress under her with her free hand as a guy came by and placed a class of wine in front of each member of the table as Elsa had lost her empty one somewhere when they started to collect their food. Picking up her fork and knife, she began to delicately cut through her meat.

“Elsa says you two were discussing ‘business’,” Anna was always the best conversation starter as she did air quotes before picking her silverware and putting her elbows on the table, much unlike her sister. “What’s this ‘business’ Sadon?” She asked, her voice in such a playful manner that Elsa nearly choked on her food at her sister’s bluntness of her question and yet the insinuation that there was something more, the easiest fix to this situation was to chug down water from the glass on the table and smacked herself in the chest a bit before regaining her composer. The situation didn’t seem to faze Anna as she kept her attention on Sadon to watch his response and how exactly he looked at Elsa. While Anna liked the idea of Elsa being interested in someone, that ‘someone’ needed to be up to Anna’s standards which could be quite high, believe it or not.
Elsa and Sadon spent some time talking in the forge about random things. He stared about his trip and sharing stories of his homeland that she hadn’t visited. She shared some information about the town and the things that would need to be fixed, from functioning machines to some metal works of the schools and blah blah blah. The topics did dig into more personal aspects where she shared that the idea of chocolate was because of her and Anna’s obsession with the stuff and the much needed supply of meat and potatoes cooked. Likely for Elsa, he didn’t ask about her powers. Though she was well aware that the topic would come up eventually; it wasn’t something she was ready to talk about with him right at the moment.

Some of the conversation contained laughter, which is something that Elsa didn’t really see happening but she cracked some cheesy comments and jokes, and even got him to crack a smile. Soon the two started up towards the hallway and she closed the door after they both were out only to hear a shout coming down the hallway.

“ELSA!” Anna came skipping down the hallway before screeching herself to a stop, Kristoff nearly walking in a casual manner with his hands in his pockets. “There you are! You’re missing the food! The staff has started to carry out the food.” Before Elsa could argue, the red-head snatched her hand and pulled her back towards the ballroom. Elsa looked innocently over her shoulder back at Sadon and gave him a shrug of ‘siblings’ as she was pulled down the hallway and back into the ballroom. “Disappearing with guys… that’s not like you.” Anna said handing her a small plate and guided her to the table of laid out food as the royals began to collect things on their plates.

“We were just talking I showed him the forge and asked him if he’d help repair things for payment here in the town.”

“Really? Business? You seemed to be infatuated by him; I’ve never seen you run off with a guy before…”

“I didn’t ‘run off’, I’m still in my home.” Elsa said in a playful defense. “And we were just talking. Don’t fret yourself Anna...”

“Me fret? No, me excited, yes! You’re interested in someone! That’s exciting!” To this form her little sister, Elsa just rolled her eyes and continued to put food on her plate.
Listening to him, she nodded every once and a while to indicate that she was listening to him before gently sipping her glass of wine. He spoke with a passion and that was something that she really admired in people. When they found something that they were passionate about they put their heart and soul into it; Kristoff with his ice, Anna with her… being Anna and Sadon with his forging. Her head tilted slightly to one side, listening to him closely as he spoke, her blue eyes twinkled dancing slightly as she kept watching his face as he spoke. His passion was admirable.

“Knowing Kristoff he’s probably gone through a few things you have made for him. It seems like the only thing he’s delicate with is Anna.” A small shrug lifted her shoulders as she laughed a little, her small body leaning against the wall as her final piece of magical are disappeared from the wall. Her head tilted to one side once more. She seemed to be full of questions for the stranger but in return, he seemed rather interesting. “How did you and Kristoff meet?” They seemed like two different ends of the spectrum so you really can’t blame her for asking.
Elsa didn’t wish to make him uncomfortable by offering him to stay within the castle walls but she really didn’t want him to have to travel far at night and if he had too much to drink that wouldn’t be a good thing either. Sipping gently on her wine, she watched him look through the forge. It only made logical sense to have it downstairs when it comes to the castle design. “My father would work beside one of the older blacksmiths to learn the art. Unfortunately he wasn’t very skilled and burnt himself numerous times when he was younger and his mother, my grandmother, banished him from the forge. One of the things that my mother had to promise my grandmother was that she’d never let my father into the forge ever after they were married. And she stayed true to that promise.”

A small laugh left her, her voice like bells rang around through the quiet forge. She always tried to remember the good ignoring the painful memory of their loss and everything that she and Anna went through. A small shrug lifted her shoulders as she walked slowly into the room, her hand dancing along the bare wall, trails of her magic creating designs on the walls before dissipating away. Her movements were graceful and majestic; something expected of a royal but rarely seen by ‘common folk’. Her lips curled into another smile as she turned her attention from the wall and back to him, her hand dropped slowly from the wall as the last of her design appeared. “Do you specialize in swords? Your craftsmanship is extraordinary.”

Weaving through the crowd of people, a lot of individuals didn’t pay her any mind as she passed; not recognizing her as a royal without a crown. This was alright with her because she moved with a purpose but with poise of a proper lady before she pushed an unguarded door open and flagged him inside before shutting it. “If you don’t feel like you can make the trip tonight, we have spare rooms here. Anna and Kristoff are staying the night tonight before they go back home; I can have another room set up for you if you’d like.” She held up her hand to prevent him from responding instantly, a sweet smile across her face as she did so. “It’s not a request, a simple offer. Don’t decide now but know if you don’t feel like you can make it home tonight, the doors are open to you here at the castle.”

With that and a nod, she went to a close large door and pulled it open with a small huff due to the heaviness of the door. Along the wall was a cord which she pulled, opening the windows of the lower room to allow the evening light to pour into the forge. “Come.” She said insistently picking up her dress with one hand and allowing her free hand to glide along the banister that led downwards. “It hasn’t been used in a while because the blacksmith insists on using his own shop so it might be a bit dusty.” A small shrug lifted her small shoulders before her heels hit the bottom of the stairs and the forge became open to them. “I think it’s nice, what do you think?”
