Breaking through the glass window was painful but not as much as Sharon imagined hitting the ground. Something about falling was not an experience that Sharon had ever wanted in her life. She wasn’t too afraid of heights but the idea of falling was never something that she enjoyed. Especially now that she was experiencing it.

It took until she had turned in the air and could see the ground that she let out a shriek of terror. Oh god, this… this is how she died.

ZOOM, THUD. Her small body smacked against metal as large robotic arms wrapped around her small waist and pulled her into it. The iconic sound of jet boots echoed in her ears as Sharon pulled open her blue eyes to see that Iron Man had got her from the fall. Her whole body was shaking as he held her; that was a large amount of fear in one small moment. Sure she had been involved in gun fire, hostage situations and the like but falling and almost turning yourself into pavement art was a new feeling for her.

Iron Man did set her down with a sense of grace and tenderness that typically isn’t seen by Tony Stark and apparently that much was read on her face as they exchanged a small stare between each other and he flew off. Her coworkers sprinted to her half of them were expressing their concern for her safety and health while the other half (the women) were begging of information of what could be going on between her and Tony Stark. Apparently if you want to get some attention, you have a small stare down with Tony Stark after he saves you from a falling building because the female coworkers that approached her and began to hound her with questions.

Sharon did her best to brush them off, using every excuse in the book to try to get them to stop asking her questions before she finally snapped. “Nothing is going on between Mister Stark and me!!! Quit asking!!!” That was enough to shake her coworkers off of her, leaving them to mumble things about Sharon wanting to keep things private and that there must be something going on between her and Iron Man, little where they aware that the man she had a connection with was running towards them in his suite.

“I’m fine Captain.” She said, giving her voice more of a reassurance than normal as a paramedic did the work on her arm. “Where is the shooter? I feel like it’s safe to assume he was part of the bombing…”

As if hearing the conversation Director Fury appeared out of nowhere. “Don’t start any speculations Agent 13.” He said sharply to her as she turned her head away showing that she didn’t like the way she was talking but she couldn’t argue back. His gaze moved back to Steve. “Where is he so we can take him in for interrogation.”

You can post rap, but... *shrug* Rap, like all music, has levels of quality. That is... bottom of the barrel, about the level of Katy Perry. There is just so much better out there.

    I agree!
    Just throwing that out there!
I saw someone pitch an idea about Little John and I'd love to see that person do it!
    Fair enough.

    EDIT!
    Name: Marian Anderson.
    Alias: None.
    Age: 24.
    Appearance:
    Faction: Civilian.
    Occupation: Court Stenographer.

    Bio:
I was born and raised in Manhattan so it’s no surprise that I’m as knowledgeable about the streets as any of the other law enforcers out there. The only problem is that my dad won’t let me join the police force. ‘It’s too dangerous’ he’d say, ‘I don’t want to see you die’ he’d insist even though he allowed me to go through the academy; maybe in hopes that it would scare me away from the idea, but this valedictorian was far from scared. Though it seems like no one’s righting the wrongs in the city; the only place he’d let me even get close to any action is as a Court Stenographer, type type type, type and more type, is all I ever do and while I’m not allowed to talk about the things I learn while I’m typing away on the funny looking keyboard… I learn a lot about the city, its people and just how corrupt the, so called, ‘ideals’ are. If my mom was alive, she’d be very disappointed at the things my father’s allowing this city, and it’s people to get away with.

Sure I enjoy the higher end of life and the finer things that come with it; fancy parties, big apartment flats and smoking hot cars. But knowing it comes from, well blood money, doesn’t exactly make one feel nice. I will share with you a little information. Something that I know that most people don’t… Robert Locksley is a pain in the a**. Whenever he was in court, it felt like he’d purposefully talk faster just to see if I could keep up, and smart too. I’d watch defense attorneys’ knees buckle in fear when he’d enter the room. It’s sad to see he’s not practicing law anymore (don’t ask me what happened, I don’t know), but it’s nice not to see his arrogant personality anymore.

I have noticed an increase in homeless people lately, which is sad in its own right. So I’ve made it a point to try to give whatever spare change I have to someone who I pass. I do see one however, that seemed to be pretty mobile as I run into him in quite a few places, one of my favorites was I was coming out of the donut shop and he held out his cup and instead of asking for change he asked for a donut. I laughed so hard that I gave him half of mine. I think he knows my route though, because every day when I go in for work, he’s begging by the courthouse so every day I drop off a donut to my beggar friend. It’s not money but it’s food right?

Personality: Rather hard headed and diplomatically argumentative, it’s not her way or the highway but she’s not afraid to point out flaws and the negatives. Has a certain charm about her that helps her get what she wants and plays the innocent/dumb blonde card really well. All and all, she’s a nice girl, just rough around the edges.

    Skills/abilities:
~A ridiculously fast typer, obviously because of her job.
~Memory based around vocabulary, either written or spoken; a photographic memory only for words if you will.
~Hand-to-Hand combat training thanks to the academy.
~Gun usage, prefers a hand-held pistol but for obvious reasons (thanks dad) it doesn’t happen often.

Family/Loves Ones: One father (Chief of Manhattan), mother’s dead. Siblings? Possibly… Someone wanna play a brother who joins the Merry Men?! I think that would be fun! Maybe friends with one of the female merry men? They went to school together or something?!

Other: Loves to gossip about the Merry Men and their actions with her friends outside of work. In work they’d get rather butt-hurt that their employees were happy with what the Merry Men were doing but it’s about time there is some justice out there! And she never misses church and confession with Tryone Tuck.
I'd be interested in being Marian. Would be willing to double up female characters for other main characters as well!
A heartfelt laugh left Lexi when he said that he thought an ‘I love NY’ shirt would be a good idea. Her eyes twinkled, her heart fluttered and she gave him a huge grin. “I think that would be perfect! A gag gift is always fun!” She said with a nod. “Let’s do both.” With that, she gave him a nod and slid her arm into his once more. That feeling of being back on his arm was a wonderful feeling. Tilting her head, she placed it against his upper bicep as they walked through the mall together.

It didn’t take too long to find what they wanted. The extent of the time was waiting in line. Buying anything in New York City was crazy which is typically why she and Peter did a lot of their own personal purchasing online. They each asked for their items to be wrapped, much to the dislike of the cashiers but they did it anyway.

Walking out to the car in the cold, they climbed inside quickly only to exchange a kiss in the snow before jumping into the car and warming up inside as the little bug rumbled to life and shot out warm air into the chilled car. The conversation was light-hearted and humorous thanks to Peter and Lexi’s personalities feeding off of each other, but it seemed more than normal, which probably was because they were both nervous about encountering Harry. What would he think, how would he feel, is he… okay?
Blue haired beauty, Nikki’s chocolate brown eyes rolled as she gave a small giggle. It was different to have someone walk to her in the way that he did but she was surely welcoming in. At his statement of not wanting to give out the information of who the buyer was, she gave him a gentle shrug of understanding. As long as they got their money, than she wasn’t all too concerned about the name of the individual.

After a few minutes of eating, she went back through the ship and changed into a pair of black pants and a green shirt. Everything strapped back into its proper place with her gun on her hip and her father’s sword on her back after sliding on her maroon leather jacket. Her body rocked to the rhythm as it echoed through the ship. Throwing her bag on her back and making sure that nothing was left. Everything had migrated into her bag as she threw it over shoulder and walked out onto the bay as he spoke. A smile moved across her face as she stood next to him as he sat in his captain’s chair and took them into port.

They were meeting the middle man at a bar which was rather typical. Nikki and Peter found themselves enjoying a few more drinks and talking. Not really anything that had to do with either one of them, but just general conversation. She found herself relaxing, talking to the cute Terran, and enjoying herself to the point of smiling on a regular basis. This, this was new to her. And a lot more enjoyable then she had ever imagined. In fact, she found herself subconsciously inching closer and closer to him in their booth. Had she understood the idea of ‘playing footie’ she probably would have done so; and this wasn’t the alcohol thinking for her. She wasn’t even close to intoxicated but she was truly enjoying herself.

A pink woman made her way to them, as if knowing exactly who she was supposed to talk to. Her words were brief and to the point that they needed to follow her. As the two walked, the blue haired woman found herself staying close to Quill, the external reasoning being that he said this planet wasn’t exactly safe, but her reasoning was because she just wanted to be close to the attractive guy.

“This is The Collector.” She announced as they entered a large room filled with tanks of creatures and items. A large man stepped around the corner, dressed in almost royal attire with white spiked hair and a streak of black down the center of his bottom lip to his chin. His eyes almost ice blue as if they had seen more than words could explain and he held himself as if he had more knowledge than anyone could ever imagine. It was, to say the least, intimidating.

The icy blue gazed zipped towards Nikki, expanding slightly. “A Metra.” He said his voice as cold as ice that it made Nikki visually shiver as he stepped to her, taking her right hand into his large ones. Bring up the hand to his lips; he gently kissed the top of it, observing her for a moment before speaking. “The last Metra, what an honor to meet you.” Nikki’s face flushed red as she watched the man’s face. No one has ever been able to pick out that she was a Metra, just as clearly as Quill picked out that she had Terran in her. The Collector slowly dropped her hand before turning his attention to Quill. “You brought me more than one valuable item.” His voice was dark and creepy, filled with a want. “How much?”

    “Excuse me?”

    “How much for the girl?”

“I’m not the item we’re selling you.”

The Collector kept ignoring her and continued to talk to Quill, as if speaking over her would convince the man to selling her to him. “200,000 units.”

    “Sir, I’m not for…”

    “500,000 units.

    “Hey! I’m not for sale!”

“1,000,000 units. Just for her.” That was enough to make Nikki jump back from the two of them. There was no doubt that Peter would consider the offer; anyone who needs money would just at a chance to get 1,000,000 units. No matter where someone stood on their morels, they really couldn’t help but question the right and wrong of the situation. “I have some things from her home planet; she wouldn’t feel lost or alone.” His words were far from comforting and she didn’t want to stick around to hear out Quill would answer. Her legs took her off in the opposite direction.

The Collector waved his hand, as if her running meant nothing. “My guards will catch her. Do we have a deal?”

The guards did catch up to the blue eyed girl, only to be met with her sword and a gunshot to the head. Taking a corner, she pulled herself to a stop, staring up at one of the cases. A ship, a ship of her people, a small space ship! The Stunning silver and blue ship was large but not too large, her eyes began to water at the sight of it, besides her personal things she had not seen something from her planet in four years. Behind her a yell form behind her echoed and she turned to see another guard of The Collector charging at her. Waiting and waiting, Nikki waited until the last second before jumping out of the way, the man tackled himself straight into the glass shattering it to pieces thanks to his armor.

Using him like a springboard, the blue haired woman jumped off of him and climbed up into the emergency latter on the side and did what it took to get into her people’s spaceship. Reaching behind her she slid her hand along her blade, slicing open her palm and placing her bleeding hand against a scanner, within seconds, the hatch popped open and she climbed inside as the latter retracted into the ship. To the driver’s seat she dashed, her hand placing on another scanner to light up her whole ship. For the first time in a long time, she grinned largely seeing the lights of her people filling the cabin and the rest of the ship. She took moment to wrap her hand in a bandage area she found before people started to arrive at the cage area. Within moment of wrapping her hand she was in the pilot’s seat and started the engine.

Soon the ship was up in the air, shattering the containing glass and the ship broke through the ceiling and out into the night sky disappearing into space; leaving the creep who tried to buy her and the Terran who would sell her behind.
Even pencil pushers knew when guns were being fired, they needed to get down and out of the way. So it wasn’t a surprise that the group that was at the elevator scattered against the walls and dropped to the ground to get out of the way for any other potential fire. Even with the presence of Captain America, there still was that idea that something was going to happen and that better safe than sorry feeling has helped keep a lot of the people from dying. It didn’t take long before someone showed up with a med-pack and began to bandage up her arm.

“Where’s Rogers? What happened?” Nick Furry’s voice echoed over her hissing as her coworker tied off her wound and taped it off. “Captain Rogers went after the shooter. I’m not sure what happen or why it happened.”

“Romanoff, Carter to the mainframe, we’ve got bigger problems than a shooter.” The people around them began to protest against Agent 13 leaving because she was injured. Her hand waved at her coworkers as she pulled herself to her feet. She knew better than to argue with Director Fury and if anyone could take care of themselves, it was Steve.

Director Fury took off in one direction while Natasha and Agent 13 took off in another. “So, I know this is a bad time but…”

“Don’t start.” Sharon said cutting her off, knowing exactly where Natasha was going with her story.

“Oh why not?” The redhead said teasingly only to receive a side-look of annoyance from the blonde. She shouldn’t be all-too-surprised to find that the blonde was giving her that look when they were on their way to shut down the mainframe of S.H.I.E.L.D. “We never do lunch anymore and you hardly stay after work. I know someone who’d be just perfect for you.”

“Now is not the time…”Agent 13 said insistently as they rounded the corner and she pulled open the door with her good arm. The two women raced to the computer and only the sound of fingers flying filled the little office. She wasn’t nearly as good as hacking things as Natasha was but she was pretty good. Between the two of them they had the entire building shut down within three minutes. Silence filled the large building as every floor shut down like a rolling black out. Doctor Banner was going to kill her for turning off some fridges but it was needed.

“Care to explain what the hell is going on?” Agent 13 said turning her attention to Natasha.

“S.H.I.E.L.D. has been compromised; H.Y.D.R.A. hacked into the mainframe and was stealing extensive amounts of data before we caught them. The only thing we could do was shut down the mainframe. But if they sent… who we think is here, we’ll lose a lot more than just data.” Silence again filled the room, the two women didn’t seem to know how to continue the topic; understanding that many lives could be lost. “So anyway the guy…”

“Really!?” Before the women could get back to arguing about Agent 13’s love life, the building rumbled and shook at their feet. It only took a moment before the women were taking off running down the stairs. The tall building was wobbling, as if explosions had gone off. In rounding a corner, the building leaned in that direction; Natasha had time to grab onto something before her feet were thrown out from under her while Agent 13 wasn’t so lucky.

Her feet slipped, her body tumbled, back landing against the glass of the staircase before shattering and flinging her from the 30th floor. Oh… joy…
Anna was always blunt and it was to the point that Elsa dropped her fork against her plate and placed her hand over her face in embarrassment. Sometimes her bluntness was annoying and wasn’t exactly fit for royalty. It was probably because she lacked so much outside contact that she just… speaks without thinking. Elsa’s blue eyes flickered open behind her hand as she looked through her parted fingers at her sister. The royal life didn’t really fit the outspoken social butterfly that was her sister; it only makes sense that she didn’t marry someone in another royal family. Kristoff really was perfect for her… lucky Anna…

Elsa’s hand on her knife began to tingle, ice creeping up the handle from her fingers due to her feeling of jealousy. A sigh moved through her as she realized it happened and her hand quickly moved from her face to her other hand, reverting the magic back into her hand and back to eating much like the delicate figure that she was. Her eyes stayed on him as he talked, dropping only to insure that she was cutting and scooping up the proper things into the fork and bringing them to her mouth. Nodding soft to Sadon, she listened close to him as he spoke, he spoke with knowledge and knew that he didn’t want to make any promises that he couldn’t keep and that curled a smile across her full lips as she swallowed another piece of food. This meant that she could trust him to complete any tasks he would choose to undertake.

When he finished speaking, she turned and looked over her shoulder. With a gentle wave, one of the staff members came over and leaned down. Giving the staff a gentle whisper the woman nodded and hurried off, “Anna, I think I saw the chiefs bring out those chocolate truffles you love. Would you grab me a few?”

“Okay!” Anna said and was to her feet before she realized she was being rude, the redhead smiled at Sadon. “Do you want some? Of course you do! Everyone loves chocolate, I’ll bring you some!” With that, she toddled off.

In the actions of Anna’s actions, the staff member had returned with a small notebook with about 100 pages in it. “Thank you,” Elsa said as she took the notebook from staff member and replied to the bow with a gentle nod of her head and a grateful smile. Her attention moved back to Sadon, her blue eyes landed on him with a gentle grace that seemed to match almost everything she did. She placed her knife down and, with two hands, held out the notebook. “There are the details of the projects to be done around town. Some are more extensive than others but in a general sense, there are about 10 of them in total. I wouldn’t dare ask you to do them all, I know our local blacksmith would be capable a few of the projects but certainly not all of them. I wouldn’t dare ask you to do them all but the things you could do, I assure you you’ll be paid well.”
