It had been a long time since Alison had been outside of her castle walls and even longer since she had been outside of her country but the young girl was on the run. Climbing out of the castle window was rather crazy; slipping through the gardens without getting caught by the guards was nearly impossible and getting through town without being considered ‘out of place’. The blonde’s hair was pulled back into a tight braid, her body covered by peasant clothes and torn up shoes. Getting through her home town was easier than the rest of the country. For people who don’t see others passing through their towns, they take notice rather quickly and hiding her personal features from her country-men was difficult to say the least. Anyone within the country could recognize the princess if she had her hair down and gave her bright and welcoming smile but… she couldn’t take the risk of being noticed. For young Alison was to be wed to an anthropometric individual from a neighboring country in order to stop the countless amounts of fighting and deaths. It was horrible, to say the least, but she did not like the idea of marrying someone she didn’t know, someone she didn’t love and someone she wasn’t even sure she could trust. How do you trust someone whose people had slaughtered her people in countless wars? Their ‘fathers’ thought it would be a good idea to have her marry one of the anthro king’s sons as a sort of peace making… What kind of fathers would force their children to marry someone they don’t even know? Apparently it was her father, giving up his only daughter… It took a while for her to get to the neighboring kingdom out of the reach of her father and her future husband’s family, it was a long journey full of sleeping in forests and keeping herself as small and unnoticeable as possible. She brought some money with her along with jewels she could use as trading for money and food. The journey was long and she had run out of food. The nearest town she had entered to was well away from the country lines and had a vast mix of individuals from countries all over the area. This was a social meeting ground were most people were happy and marry. Alison had exchanged some of her jewels for money and was able to sit herself at a bar-counter and order some food and a drink. This town didn’t seem too bad and she could possibly get settled in for a while before moving onto the next town, maybe even find a job. After sitting herself down, she pulled off her cloak’s black hood to reveal her soft pale face and fair skin, her bright blue eyes scanned the bar as she awaited her food and her fingers played with the length of her braid over her left shoulder as she observed the many different types of individuals that walked the bar laughing and smiling and talking with each other. That rare sight of anthros, humans and others mixing together and getting along. It was almost reassuring in a way but as the blonde turned her attention forward and a large mug of beer was placed in front of her, she knew that she couldn’t see herself in that world… not that world that would involve a non-existent love. Or maybe… maybe she was just being too harsh… who knows. All she knew at this moment was she needed food and to relax for a bit.
The blonde girl carried a small stack of boxed on her arms up the stairs and followed her boyfriend into the apartment. Together for years since they met in high school, the two love birds finally found a place of their own. Finishing up college was tough but they made it through like they did everything in their lives. They pushed their way through tough times in high school and college but came out stronger than ever. Arriving in the house, she blew some of the blonde hair from her face and placed the last box onto the kitchen table and found her love in the living room. Wrapping her arms gently around his waist, she rested her head against his back. She had finished up college with a bachelor’s degree in business management but her dream had always been to become a model. James was always supportive of it with the single stipulation that she wouldn’t do a lingerie photo shoot. This was something she wasn’t shy about agreeing with those terms. Promising as long as they were together she wouldn’t do lingerie modeling. She didn’t like the idea of him joining the military but he promised that he would keep in touch if/when they took him from her and that was enough for her. “It’s perfect, it has you in it.” She said softly against his back, her hand resting gently against his chest. A smile spread across her face as she placed her cheek softly against his back hearing his breathing and heartbeat. That was the most peaceful thing to her. “Do we have to start unpacking to night? Can we just order pizza and be lazy for the rest of the night?”
The worry pulled through Nikki as she attempted to get out of the grasp. Her small body began to shake as the life slowly drained from her as her vision began to fade. Oh god she was going to wake up in a glass box or blocked into Zero’s ship. Darkness slowly set in and her eyes began to drop until… “I am Groot!” Her ability to breath returned to her as she coughed and gasped for air tumbling to the ground. Body shaking she put her hand over her throat, the red handprint visual on her throat and throbbing. The pounding of her head echoed in her ears and her vision returned to see the battling ahead of her. Wow they were actually watching her. And even with Zero’s snide comment about her hiring them, she was more than grateful to have them with her at this moment. Through the pounding, she heard a voice; a voice that she could have recognized in a soft version or a version of panic and worry. She couldn’t really speak, her voice sounding more like a squeak with the tightening of her vocal cords. Her body shivered as she turned her attention forward. Zero broke free from the sword fight with Drax to swing the hook on a chin in the direction of Quill. Reaching up, she grabbed onto Quill’s collar and pulled; forcing him down and out of harms away. Regaining her strength after the adrenilane rush of pulling Quill down, she jumped up to her feet and unsheathed her sword from her back. Diving nearly head first into the fight, it wasn’t long before Zero had thrown everyone off; shoving Gamora and Nikki off to the same direction. Her chocolate brown eyes found the vile off in the corner which she used a hand jester to make it fly to… Gamora; who proceeded to look at her in shock, the green skinned stared at her with surprise in her eyes before the two nodded and in they went. Zero jumped into Drax giving him a firm kick to the chest, Groot swung his large arm again yelling something about being Groot while the girls charged inward. Ducking and dodging the ever-swinging hook on the chain, Nikki slid under while Gamora went over. Jumping up, Nikki swung her sword causing Zero to duck. Gamora went with an uppercut and shoved the needle into his throat, injecting the final bottle of tranquilizer into the man’s throat. Zero spun, and began to tumble, losing his balance before falling to the ground… it was done.
Marian’s day went by rather fast which was a blessing in itself. A long sigh left her as she walked through her house, a smile dancing along her face as she did so. The last time she was ‘walked home’ was by Robin Hood and as you can imagine, that thought was still on her mind. Body draped in a robe, she left her laptop open doing her own personal research on whom Robin Hood was. As much as she’d like to think that she was making a breakthrough when it came to figuring out exactly who he was… she wasn’t. Humming to herself, she skipped through her house making herself some tea. While she was gone, Gwen patched into Marian’s computer. “It looks like we’re in luck. She’s been researching already.” With that she typed a few things and opened up a pre-created webpage on Marian’s computer. Gwen’s timing was perfect, considering the blonde had just returned to her computer to see a webpage she didn’t think she had opened. Moving the mouse along the website, there was information she didn’t know that someone had found out about Robin Hood. In worry someone, like her father’s men, might attempt to look through her computer history in order to use what information she might find in their own personal way to find Robin Hood. She scribbled down the address of the restaurant and decided to go during the evening when all the ‘rich’ people are out and about. Maybe he’ll be there… “There was a long amount of hesitation than she erased her history and closed the website. I think you’re good to go Robert but… it’s still kinda creepy.” 7pm rolled around, the time when business people were out hunting for others to take home and… well that’s not the reason the blonde was walking into the restaurant but she did hope she might run into the vigilante himself . Marian dressed herself in her favorite strapless wrapped white dress and heels. Upon her entrance, she was greeted by the host. “Hello miss, table for one?” “Oh actually I was just going to take a seat bar.” She said politely giving a gentle jester towards the bar. How would she know it was Robin Hood? Granted he probably would recognize her and maybe… maybe even talk to her! But all she could do was hope right now. Marian took a seat at the bar, no purse this time, keeping everything in a small pocket against the dress to keep things safe and now, all she could do was wait… wait and order a martini. Why? She’s at a bar, why not!
There was a lot of things that set Steve Rogers apart from other men. The obvious being that he was Captain America but the not-so-obvious things came from his general treatment of people. He was very kind and thoughtful and always on the lookout to help others. No matter the situation. Like a clumsy blonde nearly toppling over on a staircase, almost tripping over her own feet. Instead of laughing at her and calling her an idiot; he simply picked up the pieces (meaning her falling) and helped her find her path (or feet). This was not something found in men this day and age. Then again, Sharon has always been a sucker for old world charm. The blonde's eyes twinkled at him as he beat her romantic date on the town that he could get Natasha to break character. She nodded in agreement as the peppy brunette arrived at their table to take their order. Sharon has never wanted something so bad in her life than to see Natasha break character. A romantic night out on the town with Captain America; you bet she wanted Natasha to crack. The brunette gave a look of surprise when he said just how much food he wanted, as anyone would hearing such a request but the mention of the friend paying for the food didn't seem to phase her. "I don't know how will be able to bill your friend..." "Oh we'll get a hold of them before the night is out." Sharon said casually with a wave of her hand before turning her attention back to the menu as the brunette's gaze moved to her. "It looks like you serve a lot of interesting food here." Her blue eyes flicked up to see a sparkling smile from the brunette. She closed the menu and folded her arms gently on top of it. "I would like the pot roast dinner. Cooked until it's 160 degrees, no pea added, mash potatoes with no lumps whatsoever; a side of extra gravy but it better not be steaming hot or it will burn my mouth. A salad for a side; no tomatoes, cucumbers or onions. Light cheese; lots of crutons... I mean tons of them. And thousand island dressing. Oh and for my drink. A strawberry lemonade; not too sour. I want a bite not a kick of sour. Thanks!" With that she attempted to hand the brunette who was frantically writing her menu. A little ways into her writing, Sharon cleared her throat and the brunette popped back into reality and gave an apologetic smile as she took the menu from Sharon and went back writing her notes. If this wasn't Natasha she was going to feel horrible... But there's a large chance that they were both were correct in thinking it was her.

Marian settled down across from him and looked down at his plate compared to hers. Well, she really caught him off guard didn’t she? When he said he could handle him, she tilted her head slightly. Really? Was he really willing to face Edward; even Robert couldn’t be that arrogant… or maybe it wasn’t arrogance, maybe it was standing up for what he was feeling could be right. Maybe… maybe. Upon his mention of being the one to talk, she did a head bob in slight agreement. He was a jerk, there was no doubt about that but he seemed to almost be… well sorry. Her gaze moved from her plate to him when he said he wasn’t like Edward and said it with a force of meaning which caused her to raise her eyebrows at him. Her eyebrows dropped slightly as he said that he would leave instead of her. Was he serious? Had he actually changed… “Okay…” She said softly in a small bit of a surprise. As he came to her side of the table and leaned down, she wasn’t sure what was happening and nearly froze in her seat, his hot breath so close to her cheek that she felt her face flush completely red and held onto her breath. As he talked to her against her ear she felt her body shiver and she pressed her lips together firmly, doing her best not to make a weird noise or jerk at the sudden feeling of his hot breath against her soft skin. When he finally left she let out her breath she had been holding. Holy crap that was a lot in a small amount of time. She shivered in her seat. It had been a long time since someone had been that close to her that wasn’t the creepy individual that was Edward Taylor. Most men wouldn’t come near her, thinking she belonged to Edward, like she was stamped as his property which was far from the truth. It took a while for her to finish her meal… Robert was the man to give her some form of attention aside from Edward and it was surprising… okay, maybe there was one other guy; Robin Hood. When Marian finished eating she snooped around a little more, discovering nothing new and that no one had any information about why Robert was brought back, but she did find him in his old office going through files and clicking through a computer. He was so focused he probably didn’t notice the blonde walking by… but he did notice a knock on his door. “Mister Locksley. I have a pizza delivery for you.” The young man in the pizza shirt placed a small pepperoni pizza on the table and waved his hand. “Someone paid for it already. They said you didn’t eat and should have some food. It was pre-paid. Have a good day.” With that the young pizza guy left. Marian sat at her desk watching the young pizza man come by the window looking into her office. He stopped at her door and she got up, walking to him to sign the slip and give him a cash tip. “Thank you.” She said with a smile, “Have a great day.” She said with a grin as he left and she went back to her desk. Time rolled by and the end of the day seemed like it was taking forever. The blonde ran her fingers through her hair as she reached forward and checked her phone to see that her father had texted her to check on her. With that she answered him back, letting him know that she was okay and she stayed in for lunch but if she wanted to go out for dinner he’d just have to deal with it. He wasn’t happy about it but he did agree that he couldn’t keep his daughter on lock-down.
The blue haired girl in a dress… well that would be a first in quite a long time for her. Since she was about 13 and presented to her culture at ‘marrying age’ and the courting could begin. As you can imagine, it was horribly awkward to stand in front of 4,000 plus people and have your dad say ‘Come get her and win her heart’ but no one was strong enough to keep her in place. No one was willing to try to handle her temper and no one was able to sweep her off of her feet… then there was… Quill walked in, only to have Nikki’s chocolate brown gaze turn to the Star-Lord as he walked in and mentioned that her walking around without weapons would only draw bad attention and would speak that something was obviously wrong. She caught the vials and slid them inside the needles, latching them into place and giving a nod. “So two will slow him down, hopefully drop him. Fingers crossed.” She said softly, quoting what her mom used to say when she needed some luck. ‘Fingers crossed’ as a common earth phrase that her mom loved to use. It’s the little things, right? ---- Nikki was soon wondering the streets and entering a few pubs before she settled into one. It was a busy one but not too heavy traffic. She had a plate of potato fingers sent over to Quill’s table along with a beer, showing him that she was a woman of her word and paid him back for the potato fingers she owned him… or was it a small way to show him she cared; your call. It didn’t take long before Grip found her; in fact he was bold enough to come up and start to talk to her. His words were sticky and gross; obviously a flirting tactic that he only assumed would work. Nikki swallowed so much throw up in her mouth that she downed two beers just talking to the man for the small amount of time he was with her. She had to use the excuse to go to the bathroom just to get away from him. Soon she was out and he was gone. Probably going to report to Zero that he found Nikki; she was quite a gold mine of money for someone and being on the best side of Zero is where anyone would really want to be. Taking a seat back at the bar, she felt her heart beat pick up and slam against her chest. She needed to leave, she needed to get fresh air and she needed to keep herself away from crowds of people to draw out Zero. Out along the streets, she kept her walk at a steady pace until she turned off into an alley; she had faith that the Guardians would be close buy considering Zero was now a high target on their radar but that didn’t stop her from being nervous. The blue haired girl got only a small bit farther before she was finally jumped. Zero was even worse in person. His skin was a pale green, his facial hair was scruffy and filled with… something. This pitch black hair long and greasy, the pits of red eyes staring into your soul, yellow teeth sharp and dangerous, and the hook on a chain wrapped around his wrist. A single hand forced the small girl against the wall with a single thrust. The hook placed against her throat. “I’ve been looking for you for a long time…” The man said, his voice even more terrifying than his appearance, his breath being something that could knock someone out as he got close to her, his hook threatening to cut her throat. “But you can’t hide from me.” Nikki shook her right wrist, the needle sliding into her hand and she stabbed him in gut; injecting the first vial into him. He didn’t even flinch as the stuff went in before he grabbed her left wrist with his hand holding the hook and gave it a shake, the other vial falling out and rolling away. He then grabbed both of her wrists to prevent her from using her powers and pinning her legs against the wall with his large right one. Nikki coughed and gasped for air under his grip on her throat; “Sleeping will be best for you princess.” The words caused a facial reaction of Nikki to one of shock, it wasn’t common knowledge that she was a princess but his eyes twinkled like he had information that not everyone else did. His grip tightened and her world began to spin, he was going to choke her out and the tranquilizer hadn’t shown any signs of the stuff kicking in… great…
Sharon’s idea for a dream date had always been to go out on one with a sharply dressed Captain America. Ever since she was little she fantasized and day dreamed about the day that she would spend with the man. Learning from someone she had idolized for so long; listening to him share his stories and words of wisdom. But instead, she got a trip to the Statue of Liberty, hot dogs, pizza and a vintage bottle of wine; was she complaining? Never! Yet now she was stuck on a ‘blind date’ with someone set up by a crazy red-headed assassin who could kill you with her pinky. Mentally, she was kicking herself for not telling Natasha off but that would give away that she was seeing someone. And she didn’t want to deal with Natasha being up in arms about not telling her. Sighing softly she pulled her sunglasses from her eyes and placed them on top of her head as she looked around. Her head was turned before she heard a voice, her blonde hair moved gently as she turned around to see Steve Rogers in a black suite with a matching tie, dressed to the nine’s and looking as handsome as ever. In fact, her breath caught in her chest in surprise and her face flushed as red as her dress. “Th--ank… thank you … you look… wow…” She said stumbling over her words like a fool as she took in the stunning man in front of her. They sat down together at the small booth before a peppy waitress skipped over to them, dropping off a few menus before toddling off. Her face finally calmed down before she picked up the menu and began to flip through it. They clashed horrible in the diner in their professional/date attire but neither of them really cared. “I’m sorry Natasha put you up to this. I hope it doesn’t make you uncomfortable Mister Rogers.” She said softly as she peaked at him from over her menu, her blue eyes twinkling at him with a sense of playfulness to them. Sure, Natasha wasn’t exactly straight forward with them but it’s good to know that she also thought that Steve and Sharon would make a good couple. “I can’t say I’ve ever ate before.” She said with a shrug. Turning the menu to him as if to point something out, she leaned gently over the table top and whispered, “I slipped a note under your door so don’t trip on it when you walk in. How would you like to handle this? And a kiss says that Natasha is disguised as the waitress so she can keep a closer eye on us.” She gave him a wink as she awaited his answer on how he’d like to play this off. There were many routes they could take and really anything sounds like fun. Even if they just walk out.
Oh just a typical day for the young adults. Every 18 year old have their own personal problems; some have trouble with classes, others have relationship problems. A few have to deal with home drama. And then there are the problems that Lexi and Peter face. Robbers, high-jacking’s, fires, floods, and deranged psycho paths with paws for hands. Just a typical day in life of Lexi Rogers and Peter Parker. Catwoman nodded, agreeing with Spider-Man’s statement about needing to get his weapons away from him. After one of their adventures, the pair was presented with a cellphone to reach out to the police that also involved a GPS system. Catwoman and Spider-Man agreed to take the phone when needed and had a storage spot on top of the police station so the cops couldn’t track who they were by where the cellphone went. As Spider-Man jumped into action, Catwoman activated the cellphone against her hip with the blue tooth she had in her helmet. “911 what’s your emergency?” “Never thought I’d use this phone so much.” “Hello Catwoman, what’s your emergency?” The female’s voice in dispatch said with a sense of surprise and excitement in her voice. “We have a man on top of the Mark’s Wallace Building off of 22 and 17. He is… an odd one and is rather large. Please bring SWAT. You know it’s bad when I ask for that. And please bring the strongest tranquilizer darts you have. Maybe 3, 3 should do it.” “Okay we have an ETA of 4 minutes from your location.” The dispatch said as she typed away on the computer. “We’ll keep him occupied and disarm him prior to your arrival. Please inform the arriving SWAT team not to hesitate on getting him with a tranquilizer dart. He’s… he’s a sight and could make them pause in awe. If they do, it will end badly.” “Copy that, they’re on their way.” “Thanks.” Click. Catwoman hung up the phone as she attempted to jump upon Kraven only to be thrown off. Upon Spider-Man getting Kraven’s attention and he turned; Catwoman took the chance. She backed up and dashed, sliding between his open legs. Hands up, she snagged the machete and sheath off of his belt loop and threw a whip forward. It latched itself onto a near- by pole and she pulled; pulling herself out from under him just as quickly as she got underneath him. “Oh. Look what I got. Funny how it slides off your belt so easily; if you want to keep more a hold of your things, you need to tie your belt better.” She said with a twinkle, she tossed the machete to Spider-Man. “Merry Christmas.” She said in a cheeky voice. “Three.” She said giving a simple statement of the fact that the SWAT team will be there in three minutes.
