She was rather surprised to find that Quill was the one to come into her room. In fact, she was nearly certain that it would have been Rocket but she was thankful to see the handsome Tarren walking in. A small smile curled her full lips as she stared up at him with her chocolate colored eyes. Her caramel colored skin showing the red handprint on her throat but she didn’t really care all too much, she was just happy to see that Quill was here and that he was alright as well.

A nod lifted and dropped her head as her straight white teeth showed being her soft pink lips. “I’m alright. I’ve had worse.” Seeing his hand still clenched into a fist, she reached out her small hand placing it gently on his fist. “Don’t be mad Quill.” Her tone was soft and reassuring. “You kept your promise. He’s caught and I’m still alive. That’s not something just anyone could do.” She gave him fist a small squeeze. “It takes the Guardians of the Galaxy to do something like that. A star-lord.”

Yeah stroking his ego might be the best way to get him to calm down a bit but it was true. Nikki was still alive and, even though she was injured, it was better than limping to the nearby doctor’s office with a broken leg and arm covered in blood. Something she could speak from with personal experience. The thought that Quill wouldn’t turn her in for the reward that was still placed on her head was a real relief for her. She was safe with the Guardians of the Galaxy, at least for now. “Everything’s fine.” She said in a reassuring tone though her volume wasn’t very loud thanks to the sensitivity of her throat; but her smile showed honesty.
Leaning back against the chair she watched him as he seemed to be a bit surprised that he now had her attention. In fact; she was pretty sure she was going to be meant with some form of sarcastic and smartass comment from him but instead, she was greeted by something with playfulness. His comment about it not being a date was greeted with a nod. “Just a coincidence.” She said, agreeing with his clarification. She wasn’t going to return to work and listen to some form of talk about how she went on a date with Robert Locksley even though she hated him. Well now, it wasn’t so much a hate. She could tolerate him; maybe after a few drinks it will be amusing to be around him… but we can’t give him that much credit.

His response of wanting to play truth or dare got an eyebrow raise as a response. But the more he spoke about how they’d keep it PG and that sometimes they needed to push aside their adult sides and be kids again, her eyebrow lowered and a small smile moved her full lips. “Alright.” She said with a nod. “Truth or dare?” With that she took a drink of her martini.
The battle was intense and as much as Lexi wouldn’t want people to see it, she wouldn’t mind having a recording and watching it after everything was all said and done. Peter was impressive when it came to his fighting style; to think, it wasn’t long ago when she was as clueless about Spider-Man’s identity as the rest of the world and she didn’t even know her best friend was risking his own life to save the city and the people he cared so deeply about. But now he wasn’t doing it alone.

Black Cat sprang into action along with Spider-Man only to be thrown off in another direction. The man was quick, he was quick and strong and they didn’t have much of an advantage on their side. In less than a minute the large man had thrown them in every direction possible including but not limited to straight up and nearly straight through the roof they were upon. This was not good. Not good at all.

Finally Spider-Man and Black Cat were thrown in the same direction, both skidding themselves to a stop in their mastery of balance. “Two.” She said softly. The man seemed to glare at them with the utmost hatred. Which wasn’t all that surprising; the two young heroes were used to the glares and hatred from those who they were suppressing… but they (well Black Cat mainly) had never experienced it in such a creepy manor from a giant of a man with cat hands!

“I have an idea, you’re not going to like it but I think it’s the only chance we’ve got…” She said softly to Spider-Man as she cracked her fingers and flicked her wrists, allowing her wipes to come out. “Keep him distracted for a moment and when the time comes disable his hands as best as you can.” With that she jumped off the building.

She could hear the banter as Spider-Man played his role brilliantly. “1.5” She told herself as she gained speed. Throwing herself off of a side of the nearby building she flew straight for the man from behind, turning at the last second and adjusting her weight she skid along the ground and under him. As he looked down at her with a large amount of surprise she just smiled from behind her mask. “Hi.” In that moment she brought her legs up and with all of her force, shoved them directly into his crotch.

Man or monster that still hurt. The man grabbed a hold of himself and tumbled sideways as Black Cat kicked his legs out from under him. Jumping onto his legs, she pulled the thick strong string from her belt and wrapped it around both of his ankles and up his legs as she listened closely; sirens were blaring as the cops were getting closer to the scene and she also listened for Spider-Man to take out the man ‘s hands.
    Bump
Nikki was surprised to feel arms around her, her body lifted off the ground but a set of large arms. Her head rocked to the side, hearing two heart beats. One belonged to her and the other was the person who was carrying her. Her breathing slowed but stayed steady even though her head was spinning. What a day!

She slowly came to, finding Gamora over her and putting away supplies. “What happened?” She asked softly, her voice sounding like a whisper when she had expected it to be much more full and loud.

“Zero nearly broken your wind pipe, if Quill hadn’t gotten you here quick enough it probably would have bled out and you would have died, choking on your own blood.”

“Oh lovely…” The blue haired girl said sarcastically as she slowly got herself to sit up.

Banging echoed on the shut door. “Nikki, Nikki are you alright? Gamora didn’t hurt you did she?” The voice of a very concerned raccoon echoed through the closed door.

“No.” Nikki attempted to respond, only to be cut short by more shouting from Rocket about how Nikki better not be mistreating her and such. He was defensive of her and that was cute but at the same time, kind of creepy.

“I’ll get him. You just stay here.” She said in a stern voice to the blue haired girl as she turned on her heel and left. As she opened the door, the Racoon’s head popped into view, eyes twinkling and a smile across his muzzle; thinking that he would get a chance to come in and talk to her… only to have Gamora pick him up and nearly throw him down the hallway before slamming the door shut behind her with a fury that shook the walls.

After her wonderful throw across the ship she turned ready to punch the next person who came to the door to see that it was Quill, her fist lowered but stayed tight. “Zero nearly crushed her wind pipe but she’s fine, quiet but fine. I think it would be best to keep Rocket away from her until she’s back to speaking more clearly and has regained her energy. Just… just don’t do anything that would make her get too loud.” She ended her sentence with a stern look to him before going down the hallway where she had thrown Rocket in an attempt to keep her away from Nikki.

In the room, Nikki had gotten herself to sit upright, propping herself up with pillows on her back, her breathing was slow and soft and she had closed her eyes to relax. A large red hand print was visible on her throat and while she could still hear her heart beat in her ears; it had slowed down and she was finally able to breathe steadily. Though her voice was no more than a whisper.

“Come in.” She called out to the knock upon the door, but she wasn't quite sure if they could actually hear her.
Her head jerked back and shot to him when he began to cough, nearly chocking on his drink. Her eyebrows rose in surprise and she nearly jumped out of her seat to make sure that he was okay but he seemed to recover well enough. His words triggered her to look around; heads jerked looking away from the two of them. Was, was she really drawing that much attention to herself? Could… could one of the men in the restaurant be her secret crush? Was he taking her in like the rest of the men before he approached her? Would he actually approach her while she was talking to Robert… probably, he wasn’t all that shy of getting in the way of Edward.

Marian’s attention moved back Robert as he began to talk. His words were kind, caring and extremely flattering. She felt her face turn pink in a blush as he went on and on about her. This was something amazing. She couldn’t believe he was talking like that; that was a first. Typically she’d heard about how hot she was or things along the lines of that. He’d be sarcastic and downright annoying. Yet here he was, speaking what could be considered nice things to her. Nice and flattering.

A small laugh left her, “Keep reading those romance books.” She said with a nod as she finished up her drink. Placing down her martini glass it was replaced by another by the bartender who also replaced his drink. Crap, this bartender wasn’t giving her a chance to leave. Mentally sighing she picked up the glass and took a small drink before turning the chair completely to face Robert she gave him a small, yet honest smile. “So you seem to want my attention, and you’ve giving off the impression that you’ve changed. I’m impressed. You have my attention.” She gave him a full smile showing her bright white teeth as she picked up her martini glass. “What do you want to talk about?”
Marian had a good portion of her drink gone when he began to talk and it’s a good thing that she had swallowed or she might have spit the drink all over the bartender in surprise at his comments. Her eyes expanded at his find and rather flattering words, her attention moving to Robert, her eyes expanded with all of her muscle strength to keep her jaw from dropping. Sure, she’d expect comments from him but nothing like that. Her gaze scanned his face, looking for any sort of hints that he might be placating her, but no signs showed up. “Well…” She began slightly; a bit surprised that he would ask and even compare himself and Edward to Robin Hood. “He’s different.” With that she took another drink of her martini which emptied and the bartender began to make her another. “He seems rather charming and surprisingly aware of what’s going on around the city. He makes some stupid jokes but I find them funny. He is gentleman-like and caring in almost a weird sort of way.” She shrugged her bare shoulders slightly before giving the bartender a smile and taking the other drink. “Not a ‘bad’ weird though.” She said correcting herself rather quickly. “But, I don’t think he’d actually pay attention to me, I’m not anything special.” Shrugging her shoulders again as she took a small sip of her drink. She didn’t really except Robin to approach her. She basically came here in an attempt to try and find him but alas, she really couldn’t be sure it would happen… but you can’t blame a girl for trying right?
It was exhausting, the whole situation. The two women exchanged looks with one another, as if having a complete conversation and somehow the women agreed on one single thing; they were exhausted. Half the crowd didn’t know how to react with the Guardians of the Galaxy taking out a man like Zero. And the other half was surprised and even cheered at the situation. It’s hard to imagine a planet of thugs being excited over the capturing of such a person but when they’re taking away the best jobs, the most money and are a jerk; you tend to be rather excited. The blue haired girl turned her attention to Quill, her hand on her on throat and the other placing her sword back into her carrying sheath. He looked at tired as the rest of them were, except for Drax; Drax looked half excited and half disappointed. Probably only disappointed because the battle was already over… the weirdo. --- Her walk was slow, she looked tired; her hand still against her throat. Body rocking back and forth as she walked her chocolate brown gaze shot up to him as he spoke to her; she opened her mouth to respond to him about calling her princess, only to find herself gasping for air slightly and tumbling over to the side against one of the walls. Bending over at her waist she focused on taking in some deep breathes and closing her eyes. The lack of oxygen from the amount of adrenaline was catching up to her and her body slowly being to drop towards the floor. Her breathing stayed steady but her body was reflecting that the amount of oxygen she was lacking as she slowly slid towards the floor of the ship. She… as you can imagine, was still trying to regain herself.
Coming to the bar restaurant/bar was something normal for Marian. She wasn’t much of a party person, except when she is invited to the big parties full of free food and yummy drinks. Instead she was here, at a bar, hoping and praying that the mysterious Robin Hood would show up and… and what? Would he approach her and talk to her? Or would he ignore her because she isn’t someone he would rob? He said that he wanted to finish their dance. He could use the music and the dance floor to fix the fact that they were cut off from the dance. But what if he didn’t? What if he just ignored her and coming here was all for nothing… she got dressed up and fancied to come out and sit alone at a bar for the sake of… nothing. A voice echoed to her and her head turned. Her large sparkling blue eyes landed on someone she wasn’t expecting to see; Robert Locksley… Her smile dropped slightly when she realized it was him. A small sigh left him as she turned to look at the bartender who brought over her drink. Now she couldn’t use the excuse that she had just finished eating to leave and if Robin Hood saw her talking to someone he probably wouldn’t approach her. Her plan had failed and now she was stuck until she finished her drink. Her small hand wrapped around the glass and she gave him a gentle smile. “You can’t get stood up on a non-existent date so you’re fine.” She said with a cheeky grin to him. It would be rude not to be friendly but at the same time, she really didn’t want to be around him. Why? Because she didn’t want to put up with his nonsense and she didn’t want to lose her chance to talk to Robin Hood again. Her gaze moved around the restaurant/bar in an attempt to look for anyone familiar. “Actually I was hoping to run into someone to be honest but…” She let out a light sigh and turned her attention forward before putting the martini glass to her lips. “I doubt he’d even know I’m here.”
Alison had never had to deal with running; this was completely new to her. Going somewhere else, in raggedy clothes with holes and pieces missing was completely out of her comfort zone. The large blue shirt hung loosely over her frame and her lower half was in a pair of brown pants held up by a thick black belt. Really, all and all she looked like a mess and the black cloak probably didn’t fit her well enough. Pulling off her cloak, she threw it into her bag before setting back against the seat of the chair. A long sigh left her as she listened to the music. Her curvy form rocked gently back and forth in her chair. The music was upbeat, fun and delightful in comparison to what she was used to in her life. Not the literal music but the metaphoric music in her mind was always grim and dim compared to what was going on in the bar. A smile moved across her full glossy pink lips as she closed her eyes and rocked slightly. Her eyes popped open and her head turned to see the young anthropometric wolf sit down next to her. Her eyes expanded slightly in shock. He was gorgeous! He looked so elegant and graceful, not to mention soft. Would… would it be rude to ask to touch him and his soft looking fur? Probably. She shouldn’t be thinking something like that since people in this area were used to seeing people like him. But she wasn’t from this area and even though she didn’t want to claim who she was, she could still claim she was from her home country. “Hello Kyle, I’m Christiana, or Christy if you’d prefer. I’m new as well. Barely got into town in fact.” She said with a small nod and gave him a gentle bright white smile. Surprisingly, she felt comfortable talking to him, which, in itself was a blessing. Maybe they weren’t all bad, maybe they weren’t all out to kill her people. Maybe everyone just has their own agenda and it’s not to speak for everyone else. Her food arrived, along with her beer. Her food of choice was a steak of steak and red potatoes with broccoli. Smiling she picked up her beer and took a sip before turning her gaze back to Kyle. “What’s brought you into town?”
