Marian’s whole body was unnaturally tense. What was with her? Why was this a sudden problem?! She could feel her nails dig into the denim of her pants and her shoulders tighten as she moved her attention back to the field. Breathe… breathe… She had to remind herself over and over again as she listened for his response.

His mention that it would be bad luck if she didn’t obey the giant screen sent a wave of relaxation through her body and the tense feeling melted away. Oh thank goodness. Her body nearly slumped back into the seat when he said about making sure camera got his good side. Chuckling softly she gave him a nod, finally looking back at him. “Fair enough.” Before the conversation could continue the announcer said the game was about to return to play.

Marian’s stress had melted away as quickly as it came and the blonde soon was energetic and bouncy as they watched the game together. Screaming, cheering at the top of her lungs with the rest of the crowd she joined in the mockery of the umpire, making faces at the other team in an attempt to distract them and all the other good things that happened the game. A few home runs went flying out in the opposite direction and soon one came flying their way. “Oh. Oh, oh!” Marian explained as the ball came their direction, “Oh it’s too high!” She said in an explanation as the ball came hurling in their direction. “Drat I’ll never be able to reach it!” She yelled over the excited crowd. Oh well, at least she was having a great time!

Age: 21

Position: Maid

Personality Traits: Bubbly, kind, talkative, fun and charming. The exact opposite of her brother and she’s okay with that.

Little Biography: Annie grew up alongside her brother and father working for a man who she thought was wonderful and would continue employment of their family. Until one day her father died, her master’s personality did a complete flip and he tried to take advantage of her. Had James not come in at the right time who knows how it would have turned out? Despite her innocence nearly crumbling before her, Annie picked herself up and during the time her brother was in jail, she attended a school specifically for training maids so she could become better at her job. She graduated in the two 3 people of the school soon after her brother was released. Between her training and her brother’s skills, she thought they would find a job easily but to no such luck. After numerous applications and interviews the two were sitting on a park bench after being evicted from their apartment to find a maroon haired man in a tailcoat approaching them; come to find out Adrian had arrived to offer them jobs with lodging and food included. Though they had no idea what they were in for, the two accepted the place of employment and joined the team working at the estate. Did they ever think they’d find a job so perfect? No, did they ever think they’d be able to work again? No. Are they working every day to prove to their master they deserve the positions they have received? You bet.

Half of James was disappointed that she didn’t make any friends on her first day at the college; however he was also grateful that she wasn’t bring over a man. Something inside of him turned as that thought crossed his mind. Would he be… jealous, if another man walked into her apartment? Maybe… maybe not… Why would it matter though?! He was her butler. His job is to take care of her, make sure she has everything she needs and insure her comfort. If her comfort involved having a man over for any reason… he shouldn’t get in the way of that --- right?

His heart swelled a little hearing her praise him and he felt like he was standing up straighter and puffing out his chest a bit more because of it. When she wasn’t looking he lost his professional composure and allowed a smile to move across his face. But when he picked up her plate it was back to normal. “You’ll make friends soon. I doubt it will be a problem.” He said with a nod.

Attention turning to the wall where the clock hung he gave a small nod. “That will ring every 15 minutes with a light chirp but the hour rings consist of how many bells play. I’ll make sure you have enough time to get to your classes.” When she left he began to do the dishes only to feel his phone vibrating in his pocket. Finishing up the last bit of dishes he pulled out his phone to check it, he was surprised to see that it was Freya of all people. And he couldn’t help but smile.

Hello Freya, long time no chat. Yes I had fun last night as well. Next time we should try some songs from Grease. Whatcha up to?
