Did Amanda Kissinger ever guess that she would stoop this low? Robbing people who were supposed to be on her parents’ side because they didn’t support their choices? No, she never pegged herself for doing something like this. But it was the only way she could see fit to help get her parents back up to where they used to be in their high society standards. She used to never have to work, even though she was 23, her parents covered everything for her and wanted her to get an amazing education. Hence her being at Yale (she thought of Harvard but changed her mind); for anyone unaware of this, Yale is an expensive school to go to and now that her parents were both working and so was she; they only had enough to get by and all the fun things, family trips, going to their beach house (which they had to sell) and just being a dorky family.

Now her father was stuck as a sale’s associate making enough to help the family scrap by on bills; her mother is one of six secretaries for Big Corp, who makes a whole bunch of mechanical devices around the city and Amanda was a low level employee at the Allstone Security Company. Probably the worst place for her to be employed since she is a computer genius who had turned to theft to help keep her family out of the poorhouse. Though a few good things are still functioning her life, the house was paid off, so they didn’t have any fear of losing it; her grades reflected her intelligence with high As in all of her courses and she had a very caring best friend, Jake Allstone. The good looking muscular guy had kept her company throughout her parents’ tragic loss to the scam that caused them to lose all their money. The worst of the situation being everyone in town who had a lot of money were trying to get into the deal that her parents got into, and once it bit them in the butt; a lot of people turned their backs to the Kissinger family and that… that didn’t sit well with her. And for that, she didn’t feel guilty stealing from them.

She was getting referred to as a Modern Day Robin Hood, only female. Why? Because she didn’t just steal for her family, she showed pity on the lower end of society in the city because now she knew what it was like to be in their shoes. It’s not as though the young woman looked down upon the when she was up on her pedestal but she never understood what it was like to be at the bottom until she found herself there with her parents. Money would appear in random bank accounts from an unknown source, people would find bundles of cash in mail boxes, homeless people would say their pillow felt weird and would open up the case to find money awaiting their acceptance. But that still didn’t make up for the fact that she was a thief, something none of her family’s friends seemed to enjoy and something that her parents did frown upon. The few people that had stuck with them, like the Allstones’ were getting annoyed with the thief but they had to leave it to the authorities to catch the person. Or so she assumed was the situation.

Amanda was smart about it though, she kept her voice with a device around her neck that looked like a black cat collar. Why? Because it looked good and made her voice sound different, higher than her normal voice and if she screamed she’d sound like a cat hissy, something that wouldn’t draw attention. Normally Amanda had a deep, almost seductive woman voice; her voice typically held some form of sensuality to it without her even trying. She wasn’t sure why but her mom had the same tone to her voice. It ran in the family.

A figure dropped down nearby but she paid no mind to it, her attention was finally drawn to it as the thing coughed. She stopped, her body language screaming that she was annoyed as she turned to look in the direction of the cloaked figure. “That’s the point.” She said sharply, her body shape was completely different in her suite; she had her waist pulled in to be as thin as possible and her normally round butt pushed against her and her chest flattened down as tightly as she could. Why? Have you ever tried to crawl through an air duct with a bubble butt and a chest? It’s very difficult! So flatten everything was a time cruncher but when you build it into your suite, it works to your advantage. She rolled her contact green eyes at him before giving him a little wave, her diamond tipped gloves reflecting in the street light. “Good bye.” With that she kept walking, not even giving it a thought that he might be out to stop her. Stupid moron running around playing hero, she had been doing this for a while and was trained in a lot of hand to hand combat; he should know better than to mess with a kitten who has claws.

    Oh how fun!!!!
    You must be thrilled!!
I keep getting time to write than work distracts me.
    -noddles-
    How about you?
The kiss was exhilarating, something she had never expected from Peter Parker but here they we're and as his tongue slid into her mouth she followed suite, wrestling hers with his. Oh this was so good, why hadn't this happened before?! Did they really have to wait this long!? When he pulled back, she gave a small look of disappointment, obviously not wanting him to stop. Her breathing wave heavy, much like his as they stared at each other. When he started to speak, a smile curled across her lips, was he going to tell her that he had feelings for her; because that part was obvious. But in the moment, for her to hear something like that would just be perfect.

It wasn't until his phone started to buzz, which is an awkward feeling for a girl because in a moment like this the vibration feels weird, she tilted her head to one side curious as to what he was going to say. As every girl would hope in this situation, she wanted it to be a quick call from Aunt May checking up on them just to make sure they were alright, but her expression faded and her face turned instantly pale when Aunt May was put onto speaker phone and she heard what was being said. "What?!" She said in horror as Peter climbed off of her talking to Aunt May.

As he ran upstairs she turned the TV to the local news to see they were standing outside. The woman on the TV was explaining who Lexi was and her parents before she went into detail about who was holding people hostage. The description painted a horrible picture in her mind but none so horrible then when they showed a photo. "No one knows what this man wants with both Lexi Rogers and Spider-Man, but one thing is certain. People will die if he's not stopped."

Her hand was over her mouth when Peter came back down the stairs. Her eyes were wide in shock and starting to water. The news that the man had her parents started to come up, apparently the psychopath carried them in by their coats, not caring if there was a possibility that he might drop them before he disappeared into the building. Fear-filled gaze moved to Peter as he told her not to do anything stupid and disappeared out the door. It may be stupid but it was still the right thing to do.

As soon as Peter was gone, she jumped up grabbing her keys and slipping on her shoes before running out the door. The jeep was fast but she wished she could have gotten there fast. It flew through the city, Lexi taking every back road she knew to avoid the police block offs and news crew. They'd want to talk to her about the situation and right now was not the time. Parking a few blocks away from the school she climbed out and hid her purse and keys in a nearby garbage can and took off down the street.

Apparently the police and news teams were only taking up the front of the school, since the gym was located in the back, she snuck around the alley way area and peeked around the corner, the doors to the gym were wide open, welcoming Lexi and Spider-Man to their end. A shiver moved down her spine, if this creep didn’t kill her and she somehow made it out alive, Peter was going to kill her for not listening to him. His words echoed in her mind ‘don’t do anything stupid’, this was stupid, but it also was the right thing to do. She’d just tell him that she did what she knew was right and if it meant saving lives; that’s what she had to do.

Taking in a deep breathe she walked towards the open doors and stepped inside, everyone was curled in a corner far away from the entrance door; her friends and fellow classmates were covered in dust and the whole place looked ransacked. Her parents lay in the middle of the gym, both faces up and straight bodied next to one another. Looking around, she didn’t see any creeper like she saw on the news and did what any person would do in this situation; she ran to her parents. “Mom… Dad…” she said softly as she attempted to wake them up by giving them a small shake. “Don’t worry; I’m going to get you out of here…” Little did she know, someone was approaching her from behind…
“Stealing and eating everyone’s glue. Yuck!” Lexi said sticking her tongue out and shaking her head. That was a horrid first memory of a kiss. The kid’s mouth was filled with glue and he grabbed her face, much like she did Peter’s and planted a big fat one on her in the middle of the playground. She had shoved him off and ran away screaming in terror. Funny, she didn’t have that reaction to kisses now. She didn’t have that reaction with Spider-Man and she knew she wouldn’t have that reaction with Peter.

His humor was his best weapon against her; she found it quirky, charming and actually funny. A small giggle left her as he made mention of kissing the mop, clearly she knew he was joking but she did notice that he inched closer and closer to her onto the little love seat they were on. Her arm moved and placed the bottle of Pepsi on the end table that was behind her, her back resting gently against the armrest as he got closer. Her heart was pounding in her chest, ringing in her ears and her fear was that he could heart it. Face still red, but not from the movie kiss anyone she watched him closely; his soft brown eyes seemed to be twinkling with some form of mischief. Holding her breathe she felt him lean in and his lips pressed gently against hers.

Head spinning, heart fluttering and breathing nearly stopping; Lexi felt more intensity from this kiss than she did with Spider-Man; most likely due to more developed and longer standing feelings for Peter. As he leaned into it, so she did, her hands traveled up his arms and onto his chest finding his tie; grabbing a hold of it lightly, she gave it a pull and brought him closer to her, not fearing the experience happening but embracing it to its fullest. She wasn’t going to let him get away that easily and she surely wasn’t going to let him think that she wasn’t enjoying herself.
The Roger’s home was relaxed, Angela was reading a book and Mark was typing away on his laptop; just a typical evening at their house as they waited for either a phone call or the arrival home of their daughter. A small sigh left Angela as she turned the page in her book, her attention moved up to Mark as she gave him a small grin. “Do you remember our prom night?”

Mark’s blue eye flicked up from his computer, a smile curled his fine lips as he shut the lip of his laptop and leaned back in the chair. “I remember you really didn’t want to go with me, and it took me three weeks to convince you to.”

“Well a girl can’t play easy to get. You got to make a man work for it.”

“And you made me work for it hard; everything since you has been easier than pie.” Mark said with a chuckle as he slid out of his seat and offered his wife his hand. “May I have this dance?”

“Oh my, what a gentleman.” Angela said playfully taking his hand and standing up as she set her book down on the coffee table. The couple shared a brief moment of dancing before the wind outside their home picked up to the point of intensity. Confusion moved across Angela’s face and as much as she didn’t want to break the cute moment with her husband, she had to. “Mark, they didn’t protect intense winds did they?”

“No…” He said softly as he turned to follow his wife’s gaze. It wasn’t long before the two were outside, the wind wiping like wildfire and stinging their faces as the two began to look around to try and find on earth was causing it. Soon their attention turned upward hearing a cynical laugh. To the couple’s horror, something was hovering above their house, causing it to shake and rumble; he… he had arrived.
When people think of the cloud city where angels live, they think of this fluffy place where streets are made of gold and buildings are simple and everything falls into place. But that is not the case. The place was beautiful, different in its own fashion but nowhere simple. The lush streets were filled with people carrying baskets and talking to one another. To the left of the main area were the residential places and to the right was a training ground. Yes a training ground. The idea that a war is on the horizon had the angels up in arms already. Ever training their youngest people to be able to pick up a sword and fight; one of the youngest and most talented was the pride of the Arch Angel Michael. His daughter Angela was the star pupil of the training grounds but she never really seemed to enjoy the training as much as the others.

“Is the training too easy for you?” Michael said, approaching his daughter who was pulling off the armor they trained in.

“I don’t understand it father.” She said simply, her green eyes looking up at the identical pair her father had. “We have been training for centuries and nothing has happened. The humans thrive; the demons keep to themselves and everything in between seems to be just focusing on themselves.”

“That means they’ll crack soon. We must be on guard and you are destined for greatness. To take over my spot when I die as a protector of the humans.”

“They don’t need our help; they are thriving on their own. Why push your job onto me when it doesn’t seem like it’s needed?” Angela said as she tossed her armor aside, she hated the training; she hated fighting and did what she could to avoid it. It wasn’t long before the two were fighting, their voices erupted around the town as the young blonde girl stormed off and her blonde father was hot on her trail. Their fighting turned into screaming, her father was trying to force her into a corner of being something she didn’t want to. Everyone has a destiny, is what she’s always been told but her father seems to think that a destiny was the same as his. The blonde girl shoved clothes into a bag and grabbed a key from the wall.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Michael snapped at his daughter.

“I’m going to earth. You seem to be rather set on me doing your job so I’m going to take a few days to walk in their shoes like you did.” She said turning to face him as she held up the keys. “I’m staying at your place but I will be disabling the cameras. I’d like my privacy as I explore their world.” With that she left the house and slammed the door hard behind her.

Earth was brighter than she thought it would be. In the cloud city, clouds blocked a lot of the sun but here, the sun was rather intense. After squinting through the sun, Angie finally found her home and let herself in. A small sigh left her as she looked around. There was a lot more to this apartment than meets the eye, a protection spell not allowing anything but angels in unless someone of the Arch Angel’s bloodline changes it, things were spread out so if she wanted to be outside of her human form she could relax and stretch out her wings. Arriving at the nearby mirror she expected herself as the sun started to go down. A smile moved across her full lips before her attention looked upwards. Her halo was still visible to her. Her hand reached up and touched it, it blurred as her hand went through it but then returned to its sharp feature and soft white color. A shrug lifted her shoulders, when her dad would tell her stories about going to earth, he told her that he and other beings besides humans could see the halo but most people just went about whatever they were doing. With that, she locked the door behind her, had her little purse over her shoulders , blue jeans on her hips and a tank top over her top half; blonde hair down she made her way into the city as the sun began to set. The City that Never sleeps, New York City; this should be interesting.

    Role play!
    Hunter of Shadows said
Well she just said she doesn't fade to black sooooooAnyways, I'd be interested in roleplaying with you, PM me

Isn't it funny how if you ask someone nicely they can sometimes make an exception?
She agreed to role play with me and I recommend her to others as well.
Lexi found herself laughing at Uncle Ben’s response about comment about not being that old, her cheeks were dying down from the redness as Peter handed her a bottle of Pepsi. “Thank you.” Her voice was sweet and as he sat down she moved her legs out of the way, tucking them under her as she kept looking back at the TV. Her lips pressed together as she listened to the show and turned the cap, opening the bottle of soda. “And you were cute an adorable young man.”

The next question that showed up really surprised her.

“How do you show you love someone?”

“Oh!” Little Lexi said, as if she knew the answer already the answer. “Oh… Oh oh oh. I know this!” She said quickly to herself, fanning her face much like she did even at her current age. “Oh!!” Her loud and excited as if she finally figured it out. “My mom and dad do this!”

With that she turned to Peter, placing a hand on each of his cheeks and pulled him forward, pressing her lips hard against his. The kiss didn’t last too long before Lexi pulled back and the sound of their lips parting as an echo that even filled the empty house they were in watching the video. Young Lexi stared down Peter, a bright smile across her full flips and her right front tooth missing. “I love you!” At that Uncle Ben and Aunt May exploded with laughter and Lexi’s hands dropped to her lap, much like she still did as an almost-adult. “What???” She asked blue eyes wide as if she had done something wrong. “That’s what they do, I swear.”

“We’re not laughing at you my dear.” Aunt May said sweetly, “It’s just not common to see two five year olds kissing each other than telling them they love them.” As Lexi looked confused the camera cut out to Uncle Ben and Aunt May’s laughter.

Lexi’s face was back to being bright red as her hand went to her forehead. “I had to find this one first… I just had too huh?” She muttered under her breath before pulling her head out of her hand, her eyes twinkling as she pressed her lips together for a moment before letting them go. “Well at least my first kiss wasn’t with Mark in second grade; he had horrible breath.” A small laugh left her as her lips curled into a smile. Maybe… maybe she could tell him tonight, but she didn’t want to blur out and say it. “Though Peter I hope your technique has improved.” Says the girl who kissed him, “Because you really should be able to leave a lasting impression with a kiss…” Like Spider-Man. Shit, she couldn’t get that man out of her mind! Peter, focus on Peter!
“Oh I’m sure she did, and I don’t blame her.” Lexi said with a joking tone to her mouth, her tongue sticking out her tongue at him when he talked how stunned Aunt May was about Peter getting a suite. She was rather stunned herself. Especially with the tie; it just seemed to pull everything together and give him a charming look with his quirky hair and witty cheeky smile. Turning back, she placed her bag down next to the coffee table and sat down tucking her legs underneath her.

His sarcasm made her smirk, her elbow rose up and rested on the back of the couch as she looked up at him, her blue eyes twinkling with playfulness as her lips curled into a smirk. “Oh it was the Oscar for best B rated movie out there. It’s supposed to be so bad it’s scary.” Sticking out her tongue playfully at him in a joking fashion, she pulled it back into her mouth and tilted her head to one side, “Cheesy cheese pizza please. Oh!” She said turning around before getting the view of him walking away. Her bottom lip folded inward in her mouth before she realized that she was actually in the middle of saying something before she cut herself off. “Pepsi please.” Oh yes, that was a long empty pause to decide what type of beverage you wanted.

The box was sitting off the coffee table in front of her had the videos in it and she reached forward, pulling it off the table and placing it next to her. Pushing through the tapes, she read some of the titles, “Pete’s 3rd b-day”, “School talent show”, then one she found that confused her. “Confessions of a 5yr old”. “Huh…” She said softly. Climbing off the couch she slipped it into the TV. “Hey Peter. I found what I think we should start with.” She pulled herself back onto the couch, leaving her long toned tan legs stretched across the seated area as she pushed the power onto the TV.

The screen popped up with Peter and Lexi, the mini versions of themselves they used to be. “What is this?” She questioned as she turned up the volume.

Aunt May’s voice was clearing giggling in the background and Uncle Ben’s voice could be heard telling her to quiet down. “So kids, these are questions everyone wants to know the answers to; here we go.”

    “What’s the reason for living?”

“Cupcakes… Pizza… friends. And love!” Is how little Lexi answered the question.

“What’s the most important thing in life?”

“Love and cupcakes.” Lexi answered after Peter answered.

    “How old do people get?”

“50…? 50 seems old. 50.” Lexi answered innocently, her black hair in pony tails and her bright blue eyes twinkling.

“How are you going to marry?”

Young Lexi pointed to Peter. “My best friend. All you do when you’re married is just have sleep overs every night.”

Soon-to-be-adult Lexi slapped her hand around her mouth, her face turned bright red with embarrassment before she let out a long laugh. She wasn’t expecting to run across something like this. She could only hope that Peter didn’t walk in at that moment, especially seeing her reaction. “Oh my god, I can’t believe that this was done!"
