Although Lexi was always perceived as a popular girl who should date the popular jock guys, she had always been attracted to people with intelligence. As much as it would bore others, she loved hearing Peter go on and on about science-y things even though her mind seemed to wrap around the more technological things such as devices and instruments much like the glider the crazy Goblin had. Oh if she could get her hands on that to rip it apart she could build her own and get around, what a joy that would be. Poor Rick…

When he said he didn’t want to bore her to death she raised an eyebrow at him, questioning his wording considering how much science stuff he’s talked to her about in the past. Yeah right, her ever bored by him, not a chance; she might space cadet out on him by staring at him for too long but it was never because of boredom, that much is 100% certain. Her eyes flicked around the device, taking in its look and shape and honestly, its simplicity; it was perfect, just like him. As he scooted closer to her, she couldn’t help but grin, she liked being close to him; it was comforting, safe and sweet, as if nothing could harm her and if Peter had his way, nothing would. That was something she truly both treasured and admired about him.

The device on her hand felt weird, not a bad weird just, weird because she wasn’t used to it. It’s a good thing he reminded her to be careful to aim or else she probably would have shot it off in her face. She aimed for one of the backs of the TVs in front of them and brought back her fingers quickly as instructed. POOF! A blub of web shot out and expanded into the full spider web feature against the back. “Wow!!!!” She said with excitement and surprise. “That is highly sensitive yet insanely accurate!” She praised with an honest filled passion as she examined it more on her wrist. “But I’ve seen you use it in different ways. Sometimes the velocity is strong, like when you shot the muggers and made them stumble, but when you used it on me earlier, it did feel any sort of force. Is that something controlled by a sensor somewhere that indicates how hard you want to send it...” She began to examine the device closer before moving her fingers and splat! A web expanded in her face. It didn’t hurt but she had a perfectly shaped spider web across her face, the center of it directly attached to her nose. “That’s what I get for playing with toes that aren’t mine.” She said barely moving her lips to speak, her eyes shut behind the web as she turned to him. “Can you get it off?” Even though she was barely moving her lips, not only were her words understandable but she was laughing as well.
“I meant what I said before,” Lexi said softly as she gazed up at her new man, the only man she ever truly wanted. “I meant it when I said Spider-Man deserved to have someone to talk to and lean on when he needed to and I stand by that; for Spider-Man and my Peter Parker.” Her hands traveled gently up into his hair, she had a thing for hair and his soft thick locks were always fun to play with. Heck there were even times when they were growing up together when he’d sit on the floor in front of her and humor her by letting her play with his hair. It was soft and fluffy, every girl truly had a thing for hair and she was no different; she just never pictured that the hair she always played with would ever be the hair of her boyfriend and hero, isn’t she a lucky one?

She watched him shoot out the hammock with the webs and felt herself blush when he fell back into it, his flirtation seemed to be stronger when he was in the suite. Maybe it was a confidence booster for him but either way, she liked the flirtatious nature. She followed his lead and fell back into the web, it was the first time she had actually felt the stuff against her skin. “Your grades are always important.” She said with a twinkle in her eyes and a tongue in her cheek to indicate her playfulness. Her hands ran across the web, it wasn’t sticky or gooy like she would have imagined but firm. She couldn’t pinch it apart yet it was comfortable. Rolling onto her side, she took his hand up and examined the device on his wrist before looking into his soft brown eyes. “Did you really make all this? What’s the web made out of?”
“You really don’t tend to show off your body?” She repeated in a slightly sarcastic yet extremely playful tone. “The first time I met you as Spider-Man you knowledged the fact that you were in a skin time outfit and even pointed at it; when you point at something almost everyone will look.” Rolling her deep blue eyes at him, she gave him a cheeky smile, reminding him that she was only joking. He was so gentle and yet, so strong, so rough and yet so kind, to defense yet so caring; she got the best of both worlds, a strong protector and a caring and loving friend. Spider-Man and Peter Parker as one person, the one person she was proud to consider her boyfriend.

When he said he found her incredibly beautiful, her face turned red, normally she got that she looked ‘hot’ from her ex-boyfriends but hearing that she looked beautiful was much more of a complement; especially from someone who was as important to her as Peter. With his forehead against hers, she looked into those soft brown eyes of his; there were times where she’d just get lost staring into them when he would go on and on about something to do with science or photography. Not that she didn’t find it interesting; she loved learning from Peter, but she’d just find herself hypnotized,

She couldn’t hold back the smile that he commented about but she did find the words to speak. “I’ve liked you for a long time Peter, I mean a very very long time,” Lexi said stretching the word to show its importance. “I’ve always found fun to be around and quirky funny in your own unique and unmatched way but it wasn’t until we started to inch closer and closer to this whole adulthood thing that I started to realize that my feelings for you were a lot deeper than a friendship. Which is why I haven’t dated anyone for the past couple of years,” Oh yes, she knew how sought after she was at school but that never mattered to her. “Then you showed up as Spider-Man, sweeping me off my feet, literally,” At that word she rolled her eyes playfully before looking back at him, “protecting me and watching over me as a true friend would. And now I get the best of all worlds; I get my protector, my inspiration, my best friend and my boyfriend all in one. I don’t think there is single person in New York that’s happier than me.”
As Peter leapt up the stairs, skipped quite a few, her eyes went wide, whatever had happened to Peter was a good thing, he brought his confidence up, increased his abilities and just seem to make him a happier person when he embraced the happiness of the situation. The extra confidence was exciting to see in a friend and a very attractive feature to find in a boyfriend. Leaning up against the door she let out a small sigh, she had liked him for so long but didn’t really know how to approach it with how long they had been friends. Sometimes a girl will accidently put the guy in the ‘friend-zone’ category and while she might have done that to Peter before, she never ever wanted ot. So the fact that they were now officially dating was not only exciting for him but for her as well.

The kiss at the door was simple but still heart pounding at the same time. The butterflies in her stomach was not just from nervousness of the travel but excitement of everything that had just happened; finding out he was Spider-Man, her secret other crush, hearing his honest story of how it happened and the agreement to make themselves an item; a team she never wanted to break apart. As he opened the door she gave him a cheesy curtsey and stepped outside, slipping her hand into his as they walked, she laced in her fingers; a perfect fit. “I’m glad you did.” She said brightly to him when he informed her that he had grabbed his camera. There was no doubt in her mind that she would want a photo of this occasion. It was better than a photo of Spider-Man; a photo with her boyfriend who just so happens to be Spider-Man.

Disappearing into an alleyway was a new one but she turned away, giving him his privacy as he did whatever he was going to do. Maybe she shouldn’t have been surprised when she turned around to see him in his Spider-Man outfit but she was; the bright smile said she was okay with it even though she gave a slightly shocked look when she turned. The familiar situation of taking his arm was nice; although this time he wasn’t pulling her from a burning building. A laugh left her as he called it Spider Airlines and slid into him, wrapping her arms around his waist. When he said he wouldn’t let her go she placed her hand gently against his chest over his heart, her blue eyes twinkled up at him as her lips curled into a gentle smile. “I trust you never would.” She said gently and ZOOM, they were off.

The feeling of flying over New York City was incredible. The view was astounding; her eyes were wide, though she was afraid to open her mouth in case they happened to come across a group of bugs. People were putting upwards at them and some waving. She didn’t pay them any mind though; she was too busy enjoying the stunning travels. His building of choice was perfect, you could look directly at the news field on the TV and the massive amounts of tourists, locals and scalpers roaming around Time Square. The gentle breeze moved her hair around her as she wondered over to the edge and looked out upon the scene. Her eyes wide in shock before she finally turned around, hearing Peter’s voice not muffled by the mask.

A large grin moved across her face as she looked back out upon the view. “This is incredible!” She said with a nod as she turned back around and walked towards him. “Now I understand why you don’t drive. If I could do that I’d never drive again.” Walking her way to him she slid her arms around his neck, a smile across her face. “I never realized how muscly you had gotten…” Her face turned a little pink; why was she still embarrassed around him! It was Peter, her Peter and yet she was still blushing, “Is… is it a bad thing that I find you just as attractive in your Spider-Man suite as I do when you’re in your street clothes?” she asked sheepishly as her gazed moved up to meet his soft brown eyes, against she bit gently down on her bottle lip. Why?! Why am I nervous!? Because it’s the relationship I’ve wanted for a long time, that’s why.
Her heart was pounding as she kept ahold of her lower lip listening to him talk and watching his soft brown eyes; her fingers played lightly with his hair as he spoke. Lexi’s head tilted to one side, her hair falling off of her shoulders like a silky black curtain. His question was an obvious one but it couldn’t have come soon enough. After everything they’ve gone through, everything they’ve put up with and how long they had been friends; it was bound to happen with the ever-growing feelings she was having for him. And now, finally, she knew he felt the same with her; something she didn’t think she’d ever encounter.

A smirk overtook her nervous lip biting, as she pulled herself away from him. Her hands dancing back down his neck to his chest and falling back to her side. “Aunt May.” She called out.

    “Yes dear?”

“Peter and I have to make a quick run to the library; I need to return a book. We’ll be back in about a half an hour okay?”

“That’s fine dear just be safe, I’ll have lunch ready when you two get back.”

With that she walked to the door and leaned her back against it. “Do you need to grab anything before we go?” She asked softly to Peter, another smirk curling up the right corner of her full lips. “I can’t wait to see where my boyfriend takes me.” Oh yes, she marked it; they were official.
That old woman had the most perfect timing for ruining moments lately. From when they were painting and he held her in his arms; that could have easily been a moment. They were making out on that little couch just last night that could have led to something much more important and here, they were having a great conversation that could have become something much more meaningful and she just had to walk in. Typical adults just stepping in the way of kids and young love!

As he started talking to her she felt something stick to her and was pulled in the direction of string and into Peter’s arms; right where she wanted to be. His quick and passionate kiss was enough to make her heart skip a beat. Her hands slowly traveled up his chest, surprised that she never put two and two together of who was under that suite. A smile crept across her full lips as she smirked up at him, the smile, that smile she only gave Peter and Spider-Man crept across her face. “Oh really now?” She asked playfully.

Her hands made their way up to his shoulders and traveled slowly up his neck into his messy untamed brown hair. The grin stayed implanted on her face as she tilted her head, looking up at her hero and her best friend. Her heart pounded in her chest as she leaned against him. “Then where would you suggest a couple go if the girl wants to be more than just best friends?” Her voice hinting at the question she wanted to be asked; her heart still pounding as her bottom right corner of her lip curled inward as she bit it. Why was she nervous?! This was her best friend who she just found out was her hero and she made it rather clear she had feelings for him but she was nervous, would he want to make it official? Would he really want to be “Lexi Roger’s Boyfriend”? Well he had to ask, she wasn’t going to ask him; she maybe be willing to make the first move but when it came to that she was a classic girl.
Her hand that was holding his locked into his fingers, his words melted her heart like ice cream in the sun. She was his hero, something she would have never expected. He was the hero of the city, someone who protected all the people from dangers and yet, she was his hero. Her face turned bright red as he said called her his hero. “Funny how you are my motivation to do good and I am yours.” A small laugh left her as she shook her head slightly, a large smile crept across her full lips. “You keep doing what you’re doing Peter; I believe in you, I trust you and I l…”

“Lexi? Are you here?” Aunt May’s voice echoed into the house as the front door opened.

Lexi’s head dropped, “That woman and her timing.” She whispered to Peter as she pulled back from being forehead to forehead with Peter and sat back against the couch as Aunt May entered the living room.

Aunt May nearly dropped the groceries seeing the two together. “Oh Lexi!” She said quickly as she pulled Lexi from the sitting position and yanked her into a hug, Lexi wincing as the woman hugged her tightly, “You should have listened to Peter and stayed here. How could you do something so foolish? Why would you risk yourself? Did you really think…”

“Aunt May.” She said quickly, hugging the old lady back before peeling her off of her, “You’re right, it was foolish of me. But it was the right thing to do. I had to do the right thing, I may not have super powers but I do know when it’s time to do the right thing. And that’s what I did.”

The old lady stared at her, not really understanding what Lexi meant by that, but her words weren’t meant for Aunt May, they were for Peter. “Well, alright then.” Feeling as though their conversation was done, “well I’m going to make some lunch. Are you staying for lunch?”

“Yes, yes of course.” She said with a smile as the woman disappeared into the kitchen. She turned her attention to Peter, giving him goofy smile before pointing in the direction of Aunt May. “That woman has horrible good timing in interrupting moments.”
To say that Lexi could understand the inner turmoil that Peter was going through but she couldn’t. A small nod rose and fell her head in a nod when he talked about the research of Doctor Curt Connors and the internship that he had taken. When he started to talk about how it changed him, she nodded softly, she was very surprised the day she came over to the house to see that Peter had ditched his glasses and could see fine. His strength even seemed to increase like when they were cleaning out the study, some of the boxes and dressers that he was able to lift were a lot heavier than he would normally have difficulty with.

When he finished talking she reached over and took his large hands in her small ones as she closed the gap between the two of them. “Peter, please listen. You’ve been through a lot, but you’ve come out such an amazing individual and I know that Uncle Ben would be and is so proud of you.” She pulled her right hand from his and placed it on his cheek turning his head; forcing him to look at her. She leaned forward gently, placing her forehead against his, a gentle smile moved across her full lips. The gentle scent of her vanilla perfume filling the small space between them, a smile spread across her face, showing her straight white teeth. “You’ve helped so many people, saved so many people and protected so many lives; myself included. And I, just like Uncle Ben and I’m sure Aunt May would be, am so proud of you. And so proud of Spider-Man. Your secret’s safe with me, my hero.” She said softly with an honest and sweet smile.
You also mentioned him being a punching bag for Amanda Kissinger but didn't explain the meaning what you meant.
"Long before any of the thugs he dealt with on a nightly bases he was the punching bag of choice for one Amanda Kissinger. "
He doesn't know she's this person right? Or are you making reference to they've done this bounce around more than once?
