The knowledge that she was not crazy was relieving. A long grateful sigh left her full lips as she nodded. "Good, good I'm not crazy!" She said assuring herself more than him that his words were true. But when he pulled open the door and stepped inside she nearly jumped out of her skin. "What are you doing?!" Her voice was filled with desperation as he disappeared inside. Those things could be dangerous! Her small body shook as she proceeded to walk back and forth, debating on going inside or not. Was this really something she could handle?!

In the process of backing up, she hit someone with small thump. Turning around she found a woman older than her standing behind her. "Miss you have to leave!" She said with a mix of encouragement and fear. "It's... It's not safe here. At least..." Her brow pushed together. "At least I don't think it's safe." She nodded, more to herself than to the woman before her face relaxed. "You really should go!"
Nodding to Harry as he talked about his short time in the boarding school, she laughed as he quoted his dad. This was common as his father didn’t like his attitude. She could understand what his father was talking about. His extended sarcasm was something she wasn’t a fan of, simply because she didn’t find it attractive. While Peter’s joking attitude and sarcasm since he became Spider-Man was joking and in a non-mean manor while Harry would be rude and talk in an insult manner towards people.

Lexi’s eyes moved back towards her boyfriend as Harry pointed out that he wasn’t wearing his glasses anymore and she smiled at him, her head tilted to one side as her hair fell off of her shoulders as she gave him a large smile. He did look different but he finally grew into the man he was destined to be. And that man was someone she truly admired and believed in. A smirk moved across her full soft pink lips as her bottom lip curled under as she smirked at him. Letting go of her lip, giving him the look for only a moment before she looked back at Harry; wanting to hear about his experiences with women but was disappointed to see that he didn’t have anything to share.

Poor Lexi was rather clueless when it came to guys, the few amount of boyfriends she had was because they actually told her they were interested in her but apparently there were more out there, Peter for example, that she would have never guessed where people who would be interested in her. Leaning back against the armrest she draped one arm over the rest and the other over the back of the couch her long body stretched out in a relaxed fashion as she gave Harry a gentle smile and a small push with her shoe covered foot. “Don’t worry, someone will come along. And a lot of the time they’re just right under your nose; you just have to…” Her gaze moved to Peter as her cheeks turned a small shade of pink, “See it.” With that she looked back at Harry. “Is anything else new?”
That awkward moment when you walk into the house to find the person your parents would love to see you be with and you walk in hand and hand with your new boyfriend. Her stomach turned at the sight of Harry, it wasn't that he was a bad looking guy but he wasn't what Lexi found attractive. She always found Peter much more attractive; some people prefer the muscular build while she always favored the thinner taller frame with hidden muscles. And Peter's hidden muscles had so much strength that just made it super-hot.

Her parents were set on having their daughter be with Harry who was the next in like to own Oscorp while she was next in line to inherit her family’s law firm and all its clients, including Oscorp. But at least they were kind enough to allow her daughter to make the decision on her own. Really when it came down to it, their daughter’s happiness was important but they felt she needed to be supported as well. Little did they know, if it wasn’t for Peter, she could have burned up in a fire and been taken hostage and god knows what else with the crazy Rick Archer. A large smile grew on her face as Harry spoke to Peter, they had always been friends but Peter and he were closer and it really bothered Peter that he was shipped off to boarding school but, he was back and that’s all that matters.

“Mister Osborne.” Lexi said politely to him with a nod, a way she was taught to greet people that were her parents’ clients. “And Mrs. Osborne how wonderful to see both of you and Harry of course! I can’t believe all of you are back in town this is wonderful!”

“You said you had something to tell us Lexi dear.” Her mom chimed in from where she was seated sipping on a cup of coffee.

“Oh right.” She said being pulled back from her shock of seeing the Osborne family in her house. She held up her hand which held Peter’s. “Peter and I are dating.” While Harry’s parents looked rather stunned, her parents gave gentle smiles of approval, happy that her daughter had found someone that they had liked. Though they’d rather see her with Harry in the fact that the merging of the two companies would be quite a deal, her happiness was much more important and the look on her face was so very happy. “But that detail can wait for another time, we have a lot of catching up to do as I’m sure you four do as well.” With that she took Harry’s hand in her free one. “We’ll be in the sitting room catching up.” She told the adults before dragging the two boys down the hallway and into another room.

Letting go of both the guys’ hands she wrapped her arms around Harry’s neck in a tight hug. “I’m so glad you’re back and you can finish the year with us! That’s so exciting. But as for Spider-Man, that’s a whole different web.” As she sat down, she shared a mix of information from the new reports about the Lizard-Man to the fire she had encountered him in, she told him that he agreed if he had time to do short interviews with her for the school paper and that the first one was such a hit that she has to filter through emails from fellow students asking questions and pick out ones to ask the next time he swung by. The look on Harry’s face was a confused one as she sat down on the couch, she had expected Peter to take the place next to her but Harry sat down in it, leaving the love seat completely taken up and forcing Peter to sit somewhere else. As she explained that she expected the encounters to be rare she sent Peter a look of ‘I’m sorry’ to the fact that Harry took the spot she had intended for him and turned her deep blue gaze back to the newly returned friend. She ended the story with a not-so-detailed encounter with Spider-Man and the Goblin before tilting her head, “How was boarding school? Glad to be back?” Her voice was bright and chipper but she couldn’t keep herself from looking over at Peter; a smile just for him curling the corners of her lips before she’d look back at their friend who had begun to speak.
Oh my god I keep space caddetting out!!!
I'll answer back tomorrow when I have my computer free.
Posting on my phone sucks and I don't want to give you a horrible post.
"Oh I see." She said in an attempt to understand. He really had this the whole time and will took hits at school. She watched her new found boyfriend to around the jeep and get into the passanger's seat. A smile curled the corners of her full closed lips; she understood that he didn't want tongue away his identity and respected his decision to continue to live his life without for if any weird changes. The jeep being an automatic gave her the ability to slip her hand into his even while driving; still wanting to be close to him even though she was only the consul away.

"I don't know how they're going to react; positively I hope but I couldn't care less. It's not their choice; it's mine." A nod left her as she smiled, her fingers lacing in with his as she drove the sweet smell of the fresh air and the breeze through the windows were nowhere near as intoxicating as it was flying through the air in Peter's arms. But it was the best she could do.

Pulling into the large two story house she parked the car and let out a small sigh before climbing out and shutting the door. Meeting Peter at the front of the jeep, she placed her hand in his and lead the way to the the door. "Just stay calm, everything will be fine." She said as she pushed open the door. "Mom, dad, I'm home and I've got something to tell you."

"Lexi! Come in! We have guests in the living room! Someone's been dying to see you again." Confusion moved across Lexi's face as she looked up at Peter and gave him a shrug not knowing who was at her house. Heading towards the living room still hand and hand with Peter her mouth fellow open to see the three people in her living room; the three people being the Osborn family, they were back in town! "Harry?!"
A large laugh left Aunt May as she gave her a gentle smile, reaching across the table she placed her hand gently on top of her's. "I look at you as an Aunt and I know you want the best for Peter and so do I." She said with a nod. Her voice softened, as she spoke sweetly and honestly, "I will treat him as best as I can and even at that I will strive to treat him even better than that. Nothing should ever be considered 'done or 'finished' when it comes to treating your partner better and better. You have my word I will take care of him."

When he whispered in her ear she nodded and rose to her feet. "Well, seeing as though it's getting late, I would like to take Peter home with me so we can tell my parents. You wanna grab your bag and I'll drive." She said with a grin before giving Aunt May a hug and went to the door. She leaned against if spin in the keys in her hand and when he came down the stairs and they stepped outside starting towards the jeep, "I thought of one more question." She said as she pulled open the door to the driver's side and climbed in. "When I slipped on the paint, you caught me from falling. How did you get there so fast?"
The simple answers they were giving Aunt May just made her grin while she laughed inside. Even still Lexi couldn't believe this was happening. She was truly getting the best of both worlds with Peter, any girl would love to be with Spider-Man and she was no different but she always wanted to be with Peter Parker, the man she had fallen for to begin with and now it was happening. She was sticking with him and not the because of the web he shot at her but because she truly did love him.

The reaction to Aunt May bringing up her eighth grade boyfriend Peter made her laugh lightly, as he walked away she shook her head in response to him before turning to Aunt May. "You know, everyone makes mistakes because they can't see what's right in front of them. It took many tries to find what I truly wanted in my life and when I finally opened my eyes; I found Peter just there. Something brought us together and I regret it taking this long but if I have my way; he'll be stuck with me for quite a long time." Her gaze turned to. Peter as she walked back in, a smile moved across her full lips. "This is if he thinks he can put up with me. I can be a handful, a trouble maker, and quite an outrageous person. I don't know if he can put up with that." With that she gave him a playful wink .
The kisses on her cheek and neck made her body shiver, not a bad shiver, quite the opposite actually. She shivered in a pleasure-filled way. He was so gentle and sweet yet strong and assertive. It was very attractive and a mix of everything she had ever wanted in a partner. A small sigh left her as she closed the phone. “You know, you made it very difficult to talk to her as you do that.” She said with her breath a little winded as if they had just made out for hours. She would have much rather stayed on the hammock with her man (oh those were words she loved thinking) made and just stare up at the sun-filled sky but she knew they couldn’t.

When he rolled on top of her, her arms had a mind of their own, wrapping instantly around his neck and returning the kiss. The both didn’t want to leave, that much was obvious. Taking his hand, she got up off the web and turned around looking at it, his description made sense, considering there would be thousands of splatters of spider wed all over the city. A small laugh left her as he grabbed his bag and she gently put his capped camera inside of it. “Always thinking one step ahead aren’t you Peter?” This, was a common practice Peter, he was always smart enough to think ahead and that was something she had a lot of respect for.

Their travels back to his house was nice, though it was still different to get pointed at by people from the ground, this time she kept her head turned away into his chest; it was better for them to think he was helping a different person then the same person over and over again and if this landed on the news, there was bound to be talk between what was happening with her and with Spider-Man. When they arrived at the alleyway she stood guard again to insure that no one would see what was happening; upon feeling his hand slide around hers, she smiled and the two walked back to the house.

As predicted, they started to receive a lecture about being late, Lexi held her breath as Peter held up their hands together, worry filled her of what the old woman would say, sure she loved Lexi but was Lexi good enough for Peter? She never felt like she could be but her goal was to strive to be the best that she could be for Peter, and that was her motivation. The woman’s reaction allowed Lexi to breathe again before Aunt May pulled her into a tight unexpected hug. A laugh left her as she hugged the woman back.

Aunt May was quick with her hugs before shoving the two into the dining room and giving them their food before pestering them for the story. “Well,” Lexi said, taking a drink of the water, “It all started last night really. Things were starting to happen; we were starting to talk then… Peter’s phone rang and we were interrupted.” She said in a teasing fashion, eying the old woman who seemed to get what Lexi was saying and yet understood that she was just being playful at the same time. “It all really, well clicked, when I saw him at the school last night; helping save so many innocent people that I knew we had to talk. Which is why I came over today and it just sort of… well happened.” She said with a nod before turning to Peter, awaiting his version of the story; her double meanings to everything she said only understood by him as she nibbled on her sandwich.
Had you told Lexi three years ago that she would be dating Peter, she wouldn’t have believed you, had you told her two years ago that some guy would be swinging around in a leotard saving the city and its people from horrible crimes, she’s laugh at you. And if you were to tell her a year ago that the guy who just showed up would be none other than her best friend she would roll her eyes and tell the person they were crazy. And now here they were, interlocked in tongues-menship over time square as boyfriend and girlfriend.

When he agreed to tell them, a large smile moved across her face; that simple uncontrollable smile she only gave to Peter. A nod left her when he said that they have a right to know and gave him a cheeky smile when he said he did enough sneaking around as is. “You are quite the sneaky one Peter.” Her hands traveled down from his hair to his shoulders, still surprised that he had gained so much strength, it was very attractive. The smile stayed on her face as she leaned back, away from him as he got his backpack and pulled out his camera. She examined the photos he had just taken before he turned the camera on her. She posed a few times jokingly with laughter on her face before he mentioned something about her eyes. She then expanded staring at the camera, making them look like they were going to pop out of her eyes.

As he turned the camera to her to look at the photos she started to laugh as they flipped through it. “Geeze we should do our senior graduation photos up here, the light is perfect.” She said with a nod before she snatched the camera from him. Holding it out, she grabbed his chin and turned his head to look at her; she pressed her lips against his and snapped the photo. Lowering the camera down, she kept the kiss a little longer before pulling back slowly. She turned the camera and turned on the screen to show the picture of them kissing, she had caught it just right that all anyone could see was their faces; eyes closed and lips locked but there was no hint of where they were or what outfits they were in.

“Now, that one I want a copy of. Maybe we can print it off when we get to your house. It deserves a frame, there’s no doubt about that.” A twinkle carried over in her deep blue eyes as she turned them to look at Peter. She was about to go in for another kiss when her phone rang, a ringtone they both knew. A sigh left her as she pulled out her phone and slid the screen over and put it on speaker. “Hello Aunt May.”

“Where are you two? It’s been an hour! I can’t keep the hot beef sandwiches hot for much longer.”

“We’re on our way back Aunt May. Something exciting came up and we couldn’t help but take the time out of our walk to celebrate.”

    “What happened?”

“Oh…” Lexi said teasingly as she turned her gaze to Peter, that playful twinkle in her eyes. “we’ll tell you when we get home.”

“Okay see you soon.” Aunt May’s voice said as the phone hung up.

Lexi put her phone back into her pocket as she turned back to Peter, her small hand rested against his cheek. “I guess we should head back to Aunt May.”
She was forcing back a laugh behind the web as Peter began to peal it off of her face, yes it was sticky there was no doubt about that and no wonder it could hold someone against a wall; had Peter not been fast enough, it probably would have hardened on her face than that would be an awkward thing to try to explain to Aunt May when they got home. As he pulled back the web, she related the removal to that of his mask, she gave him the respect he deserved by not revealing his identity only to have it ripped off by Rick who was determined to kill both of them, it turns out he would have gotten a two for one deal had Peter not thought quick enough to get himself and her out of the way.

His lips pressed against hers just made her heart skip beats again, she liked him so much that this feeling of being together was still unreal to her. Once he got the gunk off of her face and threw it to the side she leaned into the kiss, her deep blue eyes closed and her tongue meeting with his until he pulled back. His words made her laugh, she leaned in, giving him quick peeks as she spoke. “To me,” kiss, “It feels,” kiss, “Like seconds,” kiss. Then she pulled back, a playful twinkle in her eyes, “Time does fly when you’re having fun.” Her hands moved into his hair as she played with it a bit. “Should we… tell Aunt May and my parents about us?” She asked in a whisper, as if it was a secret as she placed her forehead against his. “I want to do whatever makes my hero, my Peter, feel comfortable.” Yes ‘my peter’ was a phrase she loved saying!
