Here are the assignments for rooms. I seriously just flipped a coin to see who got the same. Which took longer than expected....
This is taking place right after room changes, so this would be the first time they are sharing a room. They may know each other somewhat, but I figure it's easier if they aren't best friends already.

Here are my characters. I went with two males, but if no female teachers show up, I can create one.

Isaac

Name: Isaac Martin
Nicknames: He asks most people to call him Isaac
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Personality: Isaac can seem super sweet and innocent when first meeting him. He's learned it's the best way to get people to open up and let him in. No one suspects the guy who looks like he couldn't hurt a fly when their mother's vase goes missing. He tends to use people to further his own agenda and doesn't care much if it gets them in trouble at the time. He typically feels guilty after, at least if they are his friend, but it's hard for him to resist when something catches his eye.
Appearance: Brown hair and blue eyes.
Why you are here: Isaac had been caught stealing a few times from different places. His parents had always bailed him out in the beginning, keeping him from jail. He's got a bit of a problem with taking things that seem to call out to him. A bit of a kleptomaniac, not that Isaac would ever using that word to describe it. He got caught one too many times and his parents seemed to give up on bailing him out. When they discussed his options and received a letter from Redwood Academy, they said it was there or they were letting him go to jail.

Name: Payton Carlson
Nicknames:
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Personality: Payton is a pretty chill teacher. He used to be a bit of a thief and was in to the drug scene. He had gone to Redwood to try to get help and ended up loving what they did for the kids. He believes in the program and wants to help others get through it. He's not always the best teacher and tends to slip up at times. He asks the kids to call him by his first name and has a soft spot for most of them, especially the ones who seem to be the most problem.

Working on an intro post now cause I feel like we have enough characters not to stress (we'll still take more) and I don't want everyone sitting here bored and waiting.

@KatherinWinter All teachers live on campus. And most of them wouldn't have much experience after the school unless they were coming in to help better the kids and were trained educators. I'm not sure what you are thinking for your characters I guess.

@everyone: I'm working on my two characters. It's gonna be a student and teacher. I was going to make them both male, but we have no female teachers yet. Would you guys like to see a female teacher or what are your thoughts about balancing it?

@KatherinWinter That's kind of the point though, isn't it? If you've gotten in trouble with the law, what is the likely hood of you staying out without being changed? So while some teachers are trying to better others, there are definitely those sticking around because it's easy and gives them a place to live, eat, etc.
