Hiding. > > > > Or she could sneak in to his dinner with the Exalt... > > oh that's an interesting sigh to imagine she's even creepier then Tharja with her yandereness... Which is why this is all the more entertaining to certain parties.
EDIT > And with that latest post, Jerod's accent has fully solidified on me... I have to keep reminding myself to type in accent, believe it or not. > _...........Asura where do you keep finding these_ The internet is all knowing and all powerful.
Aaaand posted! Gods, if we drag the chapters out like the prologue has been, we'll have all the chatter and banter. And none of the world saving xD
The knightess answered him first, giving her homeland off as Ylisse. Not a bad place to be born and raised, Jerod figured. Noble, fairly free and open to many sorts of walks of life. Not a bad place, a bit too central and busy for the mercenary's tastes. Too many established legends and heroes already anyways, hard to make a name for himself without having to size himself up to those kind of folks. It was a nice place overall, even with all the war in its past, despite the better intentions of its exalts. Strange word to use for a ruler, exalt, Jerod always figured that was a shortening of exalted, which was strange to him, and he asked as such."Well lass, crossed through Ylisse a coupl' o times now and I reckon she ain't half bad. Wouldn' have an interest in settlin' 'ere though, no insult meant o' course. Can ye explain why ye call yer leaders Exalts? Seem's a tad bit worshipful, if ye will." Marianne's comment on being so forward and, of course, etiquite and politness around ladies. There was an old line he could have used, but that wouldn't probably have gone over well. Of course he flushed a bit, laughing it off despite the situation. Her elaboration on the homeplace, and the rather unpleasant tone surrounding it. Her mention of a yelling man from Ferox dropped the laughing smile off Jerod's face though. A Feroxian in their group, really? He never did get along well in Ferox, nor with her people. But he wiped the look off his face, smirking as he replied to Marianne. "Ach, lass, ye act like I was raised some noble lad 'r somethin'! Wouldn't know me any manners if they kicked tha' bloody door in an' throttled me! Plegia was an odd place to see, I'll give ye that lass." Despite alluding to other places, Jerod didn't even some to consider elaborating where he was from, considering the circumstances, it was hardly surprising he would want to avoid answering that particular question. But he was saved, thankfully, when some lass archer came rolling into the knightess and flew off her handle, acting like it was her fault. No, that wasn't happening, and Jerod turned and barked in a harsh tone over the yelling woman. "OI! Who the bloody 'ell do ye think ye are?! Ye run into the knightess lass and flip yer lid like she walked into ye! Watch yer tone before ye start acting up like that, like yer some high and mighty bloody blue blood."
Time to work out my post, and if Jerod wasn't so busy at the moment, I would consider sending him Jacob's way, give the lad a chance to get back at the merc.
> > > So yes, the ending that happened is that is Robin killed Grima. It's part of the plot, also the church is more evil than it seems. > > > > If Grima had the Grimleal, does this mean that Naga has the Nagleal? > > No Naga got a Church... She also had a bunch of Manaketes devoted to her. Grima returns, through power of Outrealms gates and the parallel dimensions that Fire Emblem: Awakening has. Heh, of course, the thought of chopping the last letter off the being's name and adding leal at the end being a standard operating practice amused me for a few.

Hmm, I will be posting at least once tonight, giving other folks ample time to get their posts in this time around.
> > Its had its pro's and con's, like anything really. I can't speak nearly as much as some people, I'm still in training (Been that way for over a year now Dx). I'm aiming for officer though, got some ideas on how to hop tracks right now (Being enlisted currently). I'd say its been a good choice for me, taking everything so far into consideration. Steady pay, housing, medical and dental provided, education options, overall works well for me. Even if I'm going to vanish for periods of time once I get to a real command instead of training (Submarine volunteer, personally). > > Ooh, interesting! Forgive me for sounding ignorant (because I honestly probably am u__u), but that does sound pretty neat! No doubt that it's not for everybody, but it's good to hear that you think it's a good choice for yourself! I kind of wobbled around aimlessly for my early high school years until I settled on teaching, so it's always nice to feel like you've found something that suits you well! > > > > I once tried to get a character to become in a relationship with a siren. > > > > Consider me curious on how that one worked out. > > I'm assuming it didn't end in your character dying, VK. > > ...I...I'm assuming. I drifted for a year or so post high school, settled on the Navy, and been moving forward ever since. > > Consider me curious on how that one worked out. > > I'll keep it brief for now, and I'll let more details in an hour. > > Basically, it's a swirl of emotions, a lot of sticking around and repeated failures until he gave up saying 'I love you' and began to just act on it. It took until the third season for him to be... > > > I'm assuming it didn't end in your character dying, VK. > > > > ...I...I'm assuming. > > He died, emotionally. > > But he was "successful" and "failed" at the same time. Hmmm, sounds like a very strange relationship.
