Raven nodded, "Yep, never had a need." They entered the Pokemon center and Raven took another curious glance around while Lesiy talked to the women at the counter. "Please place any Pokeballs with injured Pokemon with them on the counter and I will fix them." Her voice was somewhat tentative, as though somebody very angry and rude had barged in yesterday and yelled at her. Given Leisy offered her the Pokeball she would take it and step out of sight, returning moments later and offering her the Pokeball. Upon hearing the explanation Raven lifted his hat and Oliver jumped into his hand, nodding his consent to be placed with the Pokeball. Raven grinned, getting permission from his pokemon to use his pokeball, what an odd pair they were. One subdued flash red light later Raven placed his Pokeball on the counter, recieving the same quick treatment. He released Oliver and pocketed the Pokeball, pleased with the obvious improvment in his condition. "Looking good little guy." He said with a smile and produced another berry from somewhere and tossed to Oliver. Despite the puzzeled look on his face he competently chomped the berry right out of the air. "Bet you thought you ate all those already huh? Well you should never underestimate my ability to hide things, especially food!" Raven declared proudly and stuck his arm out for Eevee. Eevee let out an odd tittering noise before clambering up it and resuming his customary spot on Raven's head. Though Oliver seemed to be feeling more confident now as the hat was propped up now so his curious, beady eyes could examine his surrondings. Raven turned to Leisy, "Got somewhere in mind to eat? It's my first real day in town and I've got no idea where much of anything is."

I personally found it easier just to have the stats(EP/HP) in a hider beneath the main IC post rather than editing an OOC post repeatedly and double checking there, do you mind if I do that for future battles instead?

Ah well, after doing some math checking every possibility it turns out that in the 4 outcomes from a level 2 pokemon using 6 EP on the first turn the defender wins 2 and ties 1 and loses 1. After another look spending way to much time calculating possibilities I'm not entirely sure I like it still but I'm not gonna say it's inherently flawed until I do something a bit less lazy and actually work it out every outcome, plus I haven't figured out how stratgey changes at higher levels. Which I'm actually avoiding kind of because its getting into hardcore metagaming but I also don't like losing. Very conflict. Though it is a bit disheartening to know that there's no way to beat someone higher level than you with equal elements, but somewhat reasonable.

Also relavant question. 1 hp. Can use struggle? 2hp. Can use struggle and deal dmg but still self KO, opening up room for ties?

Raven nodded glad that she seemed as pleased with the battle as he was. He stood up and responded to her question, "Sure, Oliver can no doubt use a touch up. Though you know if we're going to go for a meal as friends we're going to pay for it like friends. 50-50." He said pleasently, after all, his honor couldn't accept getting a reward he didn't deserve. Then of course he began heading towards the Pokemon Center, somewhat curious to see the inside of one, as he'd never had any need to enter one before he hadn't. From what he heard they worked fast though, so they should be in and out in time for breakfast. "Don't worry about it buddy, you did just fine." Raven said quietly to Oliver. Eevee let out a tentative purr but was otherwise silent. It was to be expected. From what he'd seen of Oliver Raven had no doubt the Eevee had wanted to prove himself and probably felt inadequate because he hadn't been able to win. Well that was alright, Raven would make sure he felt better sooner or later.

A strike was a good start, but the shield had seperated itself from him and he once again was faced with the shields barricading him. Eldarin decided to do something reckless, he ran towards the shields, sword raised to strike at them. However instead of striking once he got close enough he jumped towards them, intending to use them as a step to jump towards the Demon Greatshield. At this point it may have been best to check how Bronwick was doing but Eldarin was having enough mental stress as was between the numerous shields and everything else to do so.

Haas was right, telling the teachers wouldn't do any good. Plus they'd kinda broken the rules to get the evidence so it'd probably get ignored and they'd just get in trouble anyway. Nothing much got done for the rest of the day until they all gathered that night at the staircase As part of the group that had discovered the Ante duel Megan naturally headed to floor 15, an unfortunate number of stairs away, to find out what was going on there. Naturally she had her duel disk with her, ready for trouble of any variety if it dared show its face. She wondered if they would even find anybody there. This was kind of exciting, Megan wasn't sure what was going to happen but she liked that she was doing something rather than just sitting in bed wondering why everybody was acting so weird. Maybe it had something to do with that 'Reborn' group and that person with the dino deck she'd fought.
