Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

So far as we see, you have two options. Either you accept that tags are a reality and live with it... Or you continue to deny it and die of it. Or something like that. (considering that presence or lack of digital features like this should in no way cause physical effects upon the human body, dying is fairly improbable)

The simple fact is this: they're here, and they're staying. Don't like them? Too bad for you.

We suspected as much.

Perhaps it would be advisable to try to also get the people in said thread to use less @mentions, then? After all, if there is something that requires your attention there, it will be buried beneath the irrelevant @mentions and easily missed.

Hmm... That was unexpected. It certainly puts a wrinkle in the idea put forth so far. Such an idea needs to cater to all sorts of crowds.

How many of those notifications are relevant to you beyond simply "to be read"?

A thread-specific notifications menu would perhaps be beneficial if the number of notifications exceeds n, but until it reaches that point, then it would only be cluttering to have a menu. The size of n would of course be up for discussion, but even so, this would probably be semi-complex to code.

For now though, we'd think it would be easier to simply have the notifications stay just on the notifications page. But this idea is still worth discussing.

Will it really get all that cluttered? Whats the likelihood of someone getting more than eight or ten mentions/quotes in a single topic between two visits?

We kinda forgot to cover the racism bit yesterday... Racism isn't all that much of a problem, thats more of a newer issue. For the most part, those who have any racial differences tend to reside in the same places, and as such that issue is generally replaced by nationalism and cultural bias. (rather than black hate white, you have Kalnachi hating Kalesians)

We're going to agree with @Fallen on the bit about finishing one PC and playing with that for a while before crafting a full cast of others.
No clockworks. We said no to that earlier (to someone else). As for the principle of golems: The energy required to construct such, let alone power such, is immense. Anyone capable of creating such would need access to a lot of "juice". Since it wouldn't be fired up irregularly, using the moons wouldn't be reliable (they're powerful, but ebb and flow). Thus the only truly powerful source left is blood. You'd need a lot of blood to fuel such. In other words, you'd be very visible for the trail of bodies left behind. Or you'd have to be very good at cleaning up. People tend to take offense at the sight of numerous bodies in association with a single individual. Or they take offense when people start disappearing without explanation.

At this point in the RP, the only group probable to be able and willing to fund an evoker that needs a lot of blood is the Kalnachi inquisitors.

the easiest solution until any changes are made to how the [URL][/url] parses links is to use URL shorteners like goo.gl.
thanks for the answer. that was quite helpful.
@LiverisGood, with the current BBcode system, using [img=url] tag doesn't work. you have to use [img]url[/img]
