That page might not be perfect, but it certainly does the job.
You start with a "T", then you put an "i". That is followed by an "m" and an "e" (in that order). If you're uncertain if you've done it right, that should read "Time". After this, you put an "s", followed by another "t" (Not capitalized), then you put in an "a" and an "m" (again, in that order). Finally you type in a "p". If you've followed the instructions right, you will now have written "Timestamp". Congratulations, @Sep.
GM Notice:

Many people have been confused by the timestamp system. While the majority of the world uses a 24-hour clock, many here are more used to a 12-hour clock.

The change from old system to the new system has not been helped by our attempt at a "slow conversion" with long overlap. If anything, that has worsened the issues, as converting between the two is anything other than easy. We know its not easy as we have done it for more than 75 posts to save you all headaches.

Thus, as of this moment, we will ask that everyone uses only the new system. It is based on a standardized 24-hour clock, which wikipedia explains far better than we ever could.

If you have any questions, direct them at @Ellri. (Not at Fallenreaper or Sundered Echo, as they do not know the system the way its architects do.)

We won't be bothered by any questions, no matter how stupid they might seem to you, and we most certainly won’t bite. (Echo’s the one who thinks and claims we bite everyone...)
If you’re unsure of what timestamp is right for your post, ask us. We’ll gladly help you work out any confusion.

As mentioned earlier, we converted all the timestamps on older posts to the new system. While it would be optimal to have the old timestamps replaced with the new, there are some posts that obviously cannot be altered (player being gone and such). The converted timestamps can be found here.

We'll throw in a small question here, @Mahz... The posthumously awarded trophies (or whatever you choose to call it)... What do they "look" like? Where do they appear?

“You are worth the time, Xid.” Lea found herself answering without fully knowing why. She would not normally have answered like that, but it felt right. She had no idea why. With that said, she wandered away from the others, heading to the other bunk room where she had picked a bed that ought to be out of sight.

“I’ll go meditate for a while...” she muttered as she walked away. Compared to the recent weeks, too much had happened this day. She wasn’t used to being around crowds like this anymore. Her feelings and emotions were in turmoil and she really needed to sort them out. Like her master had taught her, she must be the master of her emotions, not let them be her master.

The bed she’d chosen was on the upper tier, right beside the door to the central chamber. She half-climbed, half-jumped up, then sat down upon it, her legs crossed, relaxing. Though relaxed, she kept her ears open and her senses ready, for trouble rarely announced itself long enough before for someone to prepare themselves. Only a fool would lay down her guard when anywhere near others she could not fully account for the whims and wills of.

She sat like that for a long time, letting the Force flow around her, listening to it. There were few things as revitalizing as meditating upon the Force. She certainly had not learned of any such things in her life. After a bit under an hour and a half, she sensed a powerful presence approaching the complex. There was no doubt in her mind that said presence could only be Darth Nyiss. After two months of being her captive, Lea would recognize that presence anywhere.

There were a few options at that point. She could go and confront the Darth, or she could remain as she was, meditating. One option risked unforeseen things happening, the other meant minimal risk. The choice was clear. If the Darth wanted her, she could not do anything to prevent it, so she remained as she was. A couple of minutes after she sensed Nyiss approaching, the presence withdrew again, and Lea knew that she had not been the target at that time.

Maybe even rename the "invible mode" to "lurker mode"? That would be another way the guild is unique.

But we agree, finding out what people desire from the mode is probably a good idea. Not using it, we imagine it is the one you described "Don't wanna post now, but want to read stuff and don't want complaints about not posting" rather than "None shall see".

Yes @Mahz, a follower vs. a friendship system would solve things pretty well. Perhaps even have it have the extra feature to notice if two people follow each other and suggest changing it to friendship?

Privacy is always a tough nut. On one hand, there's the act of people wanting to be able to hide themselves, on the other there's the fact that others might find too much invisible to be attractive.

Would an optional tweak to the invisibility system be to show a rougher idea of when someone was last on?
Rather than say "21 minutes ago" on the last online, have it show "last 24 hours" or "last two to seven days" "eight to thirty days" "More than a month ago"?

How will the chat system work when compared the IRC?

players being mugged by goblins on a regular basis isn't a draw that makes the guild unique?
Indeed. A mod or some other sort of community title, after all, we don't want to overwork the mods.

Gonna derail a bit here... Later on, tags could even be used to define visibility, like that suggestion/request over in the dev journal for an adult/mature section. We know there's no true way to determine if someone is above the age limit for such and that it needs to be hidden for the sake of the ad revenue, so its a tough nut to crack, but a system that automatically hides threads from sight of those who have not selected "show mature content" thingy would probably solve it, would it not?

Perhaps such could even be expanded into a full out visibility system, where people can hide any RPs with certain tags attached from their sight? Like if the very idea of Sci-fi RPs makes someone throw up, they'd rather not see them, right?

That could work, @TheMaster99.

Some unexpected bits in there, @Mahz.
