You just planning to start with running an RP, or here to join others' RPs too?

If the latter is correct, what sort of RPs do you imagine you'll be most likely to join?

Colours in the IC

We're neutral on this. In some circumstances, colors can be beneficial. In others, it is not. Thats the plain truth of it.

Saying someone is better/worse for (not) using colors is just sad. Its what they say that matters, not how much, or how little, color there is on it. When we're composing collabs with people, we almost consistently use different colors for each person, though when the collab is posted, the colors are typically discarded in transit.

What we consider far more relevant than the question of "to use colors or not" is this: "If colors are to be used, which colors?"

a bright red might sear the eyes of people more than a a medium gray would, but they both differ greatly from the guild's default white.

Some of the discussion above feels a lot like various people are shouting "You're wrong because you don't agree with me!" at each other from different hilltops.

Another thought: On the RPGN: how about a new field in the front page display about RPGN that says who posted last? Maybe that'll get it more attention?

Also, would it be feasible to give it a bit of an image the way the RPGC stuff gets small images? The RPGN project used to be far more obvious before and deserves to be so again.

We'll be tracking ideas here too, so even if something isn't a "common suggestion" yet, it could in principle get on the list. This forum isn't as active as one might hope.

Is it feasible to make it so that notifications created in edited posts... notify?
Example 1:
User A wants to notify users B through F.
User A composes post, but accidentally misspells user D's name, causing notifications to break.
User A edits the post upon discovering the error, but the notification isn't sent because its not a new post.

Example 2:
User A wants to notify users B through F.
User A composes post, but accidentally forgets to add user F to it.

'tis lovely to see our Aftermath featured up there. To anyone curious about it: don't hesitate to ask questions. We keep the players who'd bite muzzled. The ones who'd lick you are not muzzled, though.

Is the "looking ahead" section meant to look 7-8 months into the future? Or is the month chosen for that section incorrect?

A wild idea for the notable RP section in the future... How about when you pick them, you ask the GMs if they're willing to provide a brief 3-4 line description of their RP? That might help spark interest in the RPs in question more than a mere name does, and it could get more folks to read the RPGN.
