Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

Ok. Our base unit of measurement will be the attoparsec. You asked for it. 3.085 cm

On a more serious note, we'll stick to metric. If we find a species spark.

What about formerly human species? Either changed by some external force or hybridized?

If we find a spark, we may consider this.

Just to get it on the clear before we or someone else starts playing with it... how would "advanced" abilities like telekinesis, telepathy or such be viewed?

For simplicity's sake: will people be asked to stick to SI units of measurement? or will there be a hodgepodge of various Terran systems of measurement?
We got the chance last sunday to do the obvious.

We came across a beholder (undead). Instead of eyes on all the stalks, it has mouths. Thus it only has one eye. As a ranger, there was but one logical choice: Stick a couple of arrows in the eye of the beholder.

There's nothing wrong with the odd unusual obsession in a character.

and of course there's the classics like this one:
DM: You come to a fork in the road.
Player: I pick it up.
We deny everything.
Aw shit fam, how ya'll doing. So, my laptop took a dive off the deep end so I've been outta action. Super sorry about that. Just wanted to let you guys know that I hadn't bailed. What happens now is, uh...I don't really know. Give me some feedback.

You are not banished from aftermath, but it has been determined a while ago that Corr is going to die. Exactly how is still somewhat up in the air.

You can still apply with a new character, but such a character needs to be well-crafted and tied in with the others.
Major character flaws are a necessity. These flaws need to be played out in IC posts and make life harder for him.
Significant connections to other player characters are also a necessity.

If your character makes a mistake, he (or she) needs to live with it and take the consequences. Even if it means he gets injured or somesuch. Roleplaying in Aftermath isn't about "winning", it is about making a good story that explores the nature of the light and dark sides and the differences between the Republic and the Empire.
within certain definitions of "shoots rockets and has a flamethrower" sure. The ones that don't include a flamethrower or any rockets, that is.
Then Nyiss would've kept it, not let him take it with him.
Naturally, @Sep. Its not as if he needed that arm anymore.
Kennith likes steak. But he's not above eating other things too.

Not sure about Lea's preferences.

Miasa likes reptilian meat. She also likes stuff marinated in the Dark Side, like tukata and hississ.
