Other Appearance: Jack has a tattoo on his right bicep. He has had it since he was six. His grandmother placed it there. His Creole accent seems to be there one minute and gone the next.

History/bio: To understand Jack you first need to look around him. For more than 200 years, the Laveau Clan has protected the city of New Orleans from the shadows. The city has been home to different groups over the years, but the Laveaus have always kept the peace using magic and politics when needed. Due to this, New Orleans has become a mixing pot of different groups with the Laveau Coven to protect both the humans and the non humans. The family sees it as their duty to protect those that cannot protect themselves. They always keep the magic away from the eyes of the normal folks but still manage to keep them safe.

A strange quirk in the family was that the family magic seem to be passed only to the female members of the line. This was true until the current generation. This was when the trouble began. When Anna Laveau got pregnant, a spell was placed to determine the gender of the child. The spell showed that the child was a boy and somehow was inheriting the family magic. One of the members with the gift of Propheta foretold that Anna would not live to see the sunrise on the day the boy was born. The prophesy held true and Anna Laveau died two minutes before sunrise on the 10th of September. Jack's grandmother took custody of her grandson after she had promised her daughter that she would make him into a great witch worthy of his last name.

Julia raised her grandson in the proper ways of magic. After an incident with a flying chair at his kindergarten class, she placed a binding tattoo on his arm to control his magics. She would teach him different spells and potions as they worked in her magic shop. It was mainly for the tourists but there were a few real magic things there. Jack knew that he would some day inherit the shop and the lead of the Coven someday. She also taught him to respect his ancestors. Every Sunday they would bring food to different local grave yards as respect for those who had died. She taught her grandson all of her recipes so he could do this by himself some day.

Jack spent most of his life exploring the city and all its hidden parts. He learned to not treat anyone differently no matter the species. Jack found he liked being able to fight physically so he kept training. He wanted to be able to use both his magic and his fists should need be.

One day seemingly at random, Julia decreed that Jack would be going to Gringore Academy so he could be around more people his own age. Jack agreed and left for the school soon after.

Family/Relationships: Julia Laveau: Jack's grandmother and magical mentor. Current Leader of the New Orleans Coven.
Anna Laveau: Jack's mother. Used to work for the Coven as a healer. Died September 10,1996 6:40 am.
Father Unknown: Jack's grandmother refuses to ever speak of him or will ignore any questions about him. Jack thinks he was some sort of hunter from what he has picked up during his research into the topic. Jack apparently looks like him.

Other/Extra: He is a very good cook since he was taught by his grandmother. It is not odd for the smell of different Creole dishes to be wafting out of his room.

Jack will hit on anyone regardless of gender or species. His creole accent seems to get more thick if he is trying to charm someone.

Super Long History

Alice was born into a middle-class Jewish family. Her father, Fred, was a pediatrician, extremely well educated, and well known among professional chess players. Her mother, Lucille, was a busy housewife, ex-teacher, and was originally from France. Alice grew up in Düsseldorf Germany, in a three-story house, along with her siblings Konrad, Wilhelmina, and Hugo.

She was four years old when her sister Wilhelmina was born early, she was a small and sickly baby. Alice's whole family was raised bilingual, speaking German, and french. At her mother's urging Alice began ballet at the age of six, playing small roles in local stage productions, and taking piano classes. But what Alice really wanted was to learn to play violin. Luckily her parents agreed that everyone should know how to play an instrument and read music, so she was given her first violin when she was seven, just after her baby brother Hugo was born.

She was mainly educated at home by her mother, and in Synagogue. She was instructed in the basics of formal education such as math, reading, and writing. She hated math to its core, but reading became her favorite. Her father sent her to a proper school when she turned 10, as he wanted all his children to have an education, so they could do what ever they wanted in life. Making friends outside her family, and neighborhood, she was a happy little girl.

She stopped the singing classes when she was eleven, as she decided to focus her time on the violin, which she had grown to love dearly. Her mother did insist that she keep up with ballet. Alice's dream was to one day to be a professional violinist, and composer. She was well on her way to accomplishing her dreams. She began trying to write her own plays, making Hugo, and her friends put them on for their parents and neighbors.

In 1935 the anti-Semite, Adolf Hitlers came to power, and his reign started. Nuremberg Laws were adopted, and all Jews citizenship were withdrawn. Alice was 15, but luckily she had just been accepted on scholarship, to a private music school is France. Her parents saw this as a way out of Germany for Alice. Her mother had even arranged for Alice to stay in France with her uncle, Eugene Lemery and his wife Claudia. Alice left home just before the start of the school year, and her older brother Konrad came with to find work in England.

Alice graduated in 1938. Her parents urged her not to come back to Germany, as things were just getting worse. So she stayed in France with the Lemery family, and started college, majoring in Music Theory, and English. After being away in France for almost three years, all she wanted was to see her family, but she pressed on. She became first chair violinist of her college orchestra, and began dating a young man named Henri Palissy.

She was 20 years old in 1940 when France became occupied. Henri proposed to her later that year, and she accepted. They promised to marry when the war ended. Henri, her first love, best friend, and now fiance left to fight in the war in December that year. Alice withdrew from college and found work as a typist, making extra money, as to not be a burden on the Lemerys.

Back in Germany her parents were quick to help their fellow Jews. Their three-story home become a place of refuge for dozens of Jewish people trying to find their way into hiding or out of Germany. Doctoring papers, and helping people get out became the focus of her parents, as she read in letters from them. Unfortunately her parents, Hugo, and Wilhelmina were found out and taken by the Nazis in late 1941. Her father died on the train journey to the death camp. Her sister Wilhelmina, was sent to the gas chambers on arrival at Auschwitz. Hugo and her mother were split up and made to do slave labor. Konrad was still in England working on ships, and around the docks in Portsmouth, sending money back to Germany for the family, he had no idea his family had been taken until months later when his letters returned unopened.

The Holocaust got its claws into France, and in January 1942 Alice was caught and deported to a concentration camp in Poland. By some miracle her mother was also an inmate there. The reunion was short lived, as her mother explained that Wilhelmina and her father were dead, and she had only caught a glimpse of Hugo months ago, as he boarded a different train to god knows where. During Alice's time in the camp, she became an interpreter among the inmates, using her knowledge of different languages to help with communication. The death of her father and sister, along with the missing Hugo were almost to much to bare for Alice, and it was a miracle she lasted.

In 1943 she developed pneumonia, and she was taken to the infirmary, were she basically had a week to get better or be sent to the gas chambers. In the middle of the night, two day before her week was up, her brother Konrad appeared, disguised as a Nazi soldier. Konrad had been looking for there family since he found out they had been deported in 1942. And he had found Alice's name by chance written on the infirmary list two days ago. He hadn't known she had be taken, and had assumed she was still in France hidding. He was here to brake his family out, he quickly picked up the dying Alice out of bed, asking her where to find their parents and siblings, as he carried her gently outside. Through struggling breaths and painful coughs Alice explained that their father and Wilhelmina were dead, Hugo was missing, and their mom was the only one left.

The next thing Alice remembered was waking up in a warm bed, with her mother asleep in the chair beside her. Konrad came in to the room, red rimmed eyes, he offered her some soup and water. He explained that once she was strong enough he was sending her and mother to England where his friend Alec Moore, had a place for them; But he was going to stay behind to look for Hugo. Alice spent months recovering, all while trying to convince her mother and Konrad that she should stay to help find Hugo. Her weak arguments were going nowhere, and in December of 1943, she and her mother left for England.

On new years day they had made it to Mr.Moore home in Dover England. Mr.Moore was glad to see they had survived and opened his home to them. Their were two other families living there. An elderly couple from Austria, and the Stuart brothers, Paul and George. Little did anyone know that the Stuart boys were actually Vampires. Paul was attractive, and charming, but also secretly a psychopath. He took immediate interest in Alice. But as the weeks past and he got to know her more, he became borderline obsessed with her, not that he would let anyone know that. George was quite, and stand offish, most of the time he just ignored everyone and spent his days locked in his room.

Alice was polite to them, and grateful that Mr.Moore took them in, but other then that she was only concerned with the war, Konrad safety, her MIA fiancee Henri, and where her little brother Hugo was. She and her mother counted the days between letters received from Konrad in Germany, containing news on the search for Hugo, which was going nowhere. Do to the prolonged bout with pneumonia, and the malnutrition suffered from the camp, Alice's health would never be what it once was, and the scar tissue in her lungs didn't help. She developed asthma, and spent more days in poor health then not.

Months past living in Mr.Moore's home, all the while with Paul trying his charms on Alice, flirting, and Mr.Moore seemed to be suffering from anemia. One night Paul tried to sneak a kiss, and Alice had finally had enough of him, so she abruptly, and venomously rejected him. Paul was enraged, he grabbed her by the hair, dragged her to the ground and bit her, drinking her blood as she kicked and hit him. But he kept on drinking her blood. She stopped fighting as the last of her blood was being sucked away, and she went limp. When Paul came down from fit of rage Alice laid near death on the ground in front of him, he laughed, and then started crying because he didn't want her dead forever. So in his hysterics, the spur of the moment decision was made, and he fed her his own blood.

June 1944 Alice died, and three days later woke up a vampire. Chained to a wall, in some windowless room, she had no idea where she was. All she could think about what how thirsty she was, but not for water. She felt strange, different, and strong. She could hear and see things clearer then ever before. Paul showed up hours later, with an unconscious human man flung over his shoulder. He dropped him in front of her, and without a thought she bit the man, and drank every last drop of blood, effectively killing the poor guy. Not thirsty anymore, she looked up at Paul, blood smeared her lips, and she remembered how he attacked her. Her mind was rushing a millions miles a minute, think so many thing, but everything was so clear, so sharp. Words like Aluka, Dracula, Motetz Dam, demon, and Vampire flashed trough her mind, and she instinctively knew that that was what she was, what Paul was, what he had made her.

She was not Human anymore, she was a vampire, and this made her angry. Using her new superhuman vamp strength she ripped the chains from the wall, and lunged at Paul with a growl, and teeth bared. But he was quick to laugh as he slammed the door in her face. Through the door he said in a cheery voice, "You're a strong one Ms. Alice, so happy you're all mine. Never thought I'd turn someone, your lucky a pureblood like me likes you so much. I made George cover for us. Told your mother we ran off to elope ha. See you later my girl."

Paul held her captive for over 8 months. And in February of 1945 she finally escaped. The first morning of freedom, she found out the hard way that Vampires can't walk in the sun. Finding her family, and hiding from the enraged Paul became her primary mission in life, if you could call it life. Living in darkness, the only thing Paul had taught her was how to feed without killing, and how to erase the humans memory.

About a month later she finally found her way back to Mr.Moore's home in Dover England. She came hoping her mother was still there, but George answered the door. She backed up in fear, expecting to see Paul behind him, but George just frowned and had the clueless Mr.Thomas invite her inside. George explained that her mother was in Paris with her relatives, and Konrad was in Birmingham England drinking himself to death, as he spent his days going through concentration camp books/logs/papers looking for any mention of Hugo. George apologized for Paul's behavior, and what he did. He explained that Paul had been here two weeks ago looking for her, and that it was best to not cross paths with him. Over the next three months George reluctantly became Alice's mentor in the ways of a vampire. Teaching her the history, laws, abilities, and limitations of her new life. They became friends in the process.

They left Mr.Moore home in June 1945. Alice wanted to find her family, and though George advised against her ever seeing them ever again, he went along with her anyway. She dyed her hair blonde, and began going by the name Susan Wilson, as to keep Paul off her trail. By September that year, WWII was over, and people were beginning to raise up out of wreckage that had plagued the world for the last 5 years. But she would never forget the camps and the horrors of war. For two years she searched for her brother all over Europe. She had found her mother living in Paris with Uncle Eugene, but didn't reveal herself to them, knowing George was right, and that it was better they though she was gone.

Paul found Alice in April 1947. But instead of attacking her, or showing any sign of anger, he smiled cheerfully as he greeted her and George. Alice could tell that he didn't expect George to be with her, but Paul didn't let on his true feelings. Instead Paul brightly told Alice that he had a gift for her, as an apology for keeping her locked up. Paul grinned as Konrad happily walked out of the shadows to stand beside him. The smiling Konrad, ran up and give Alice a bear hug. "Konrad and I have been looking for you my dear Alice. We've been searching for you for over a year. I must say blonde hair suits you, but your natural brown is more my taste, so will have to change that." Paul told her looking menacingly at George. George and Alice knew Paul was up to something right off the bat, but Alice was overjoyed to see her big brother.

Little did she know that Paul had turned Konrad into a vampire, over a year ago, knowing that Alice was looking for him, knowing this was not the life she wanted for her brother, Paul was playing a game. No fight broke out, Alice didn't yell, she just quickly whispered into Konrad's ear, not to trust Paul and to run. Konrad's response was a light hearted laugh as he stopped hugging her and said "Don't worry Ally, Paul explained everything, and I'm just like you, fangs and all that. God its good to see you." giving her another hug. Paul just smiled. The shock of what Konrad had said was apparent on Alice's face, and even George looked wherry. As a general rule vampire were not really allowed to turn more then one person every 50 years, but Paul didn't seems to follow any rules.

Alice was angry, and upset. She didn't want this life for her brother, a life in the darkness, life as a demon. She suppressed the instinct to ripe out Paul's throat, and instead calmly took Konrad by the hand to make him follow. She needed to be away from Paul, and to explain the truth to Konrad. George understood this, and went to get Paul's attention. When Alice and Konrad were far enough away, she told Konrad the truth: how Paul had attacked her, held her captive, that she was never his fiance, she hated Paul, and that being a Vampire was not her choice. She could tell Konrad didn't want to believe her, but he knew she was telling the truth, and then he became furious at Paul.

Alice had Konrad, and George on her side, so Paul was outmatched and could do nothing, he seemed to accept that and leave of his own accord. George apologized again on Paul behalf, and Konrad just looked lost, like his life was a lie...which it kind of was. Turned out Paul had told Konrad all about some happy prefect life that was being a vampire, that Alice wanted this for Konrad, so they could all be a happy family together...forever.

The months after finding Konrad were an adjustment. She had had a mission, a reason for living since she had become a vamp, and now that she had found Konrad, and seen her mother, the reason was gone. She didn't know what to do with herself, what to do with her impossibly long life. She still had not accepted herself as a vampire, a demon. She still had nightmares from her time in the camps, and the death of almost everyone she had ever loved. Everything she had ever dreamed of having in life was gone; finishing college, marrying Henri, having children, growing old with loved ones, walking in the sunlight free. She had survived the death camps, the war, but everything she had planed for her life was gone.

Depression, PTSD, and self-loathing made up most of the next few years for Alice. George and Konrad stayed with her, and together they made their way to America. A fresh start as Konrad called it. Living in New York city, times were changing in the 50s. George stayed with Alice, as he felt obligated since his brother was such an ass. Later in the decade Konrad found himself addicted to fairy blood, and spent most of his time tracking down old Nazis, and killing them off.

In early 1955 Konrad had ended up in a prison for supernaturals, as the guardians found him guilty of murdering 12 fairies, and 43 humans. Konrad confessed that it was true, but that the fairies were all accidents, do to his addiction to fairy blood, and his uncontrollable thirst. He would have got 90 years in a supernatural prison, but he had only been a vampire for less then a decade, so he got 10 years. With Konrad in jail, George and Alice left New York for a small supernatural community in Canada, called Umber.

Alice and George started a romantic relationship together, and love blossomed, which was something she never thought would happen. Alice felt free, and in love. Her witch friend charmed a daylight ring for her, and being able to walk out under the sun, changed Alice's outlook on vampire life. She was finally beginning to accept that the world around her was much bigger then is seemed.

In 1963 George and Alice had been traveling around Asia when Paul appeared. He was more psychotic then usual, and once he deduced George and Alice's relationship, he went bat shit, and killed George. Paul came back to reality rather quickly after he ripped George's head off. The regret/grief was instant for him. Alice was hysterical as she sank to her knees in the growing pool of blood around her. Paul forcefully grasp Alice wrists, and dragged her to her feet. "You...You made me do this Alice, its all your fault. Your mine! You are suppose to love me. You made me have to kill him, my own brother. Stupid girl, you'll have to pay for this. A brother for a brother is only fair." Paul said accusingly glaring into Alice's tear filled eyes. His blood soaked hands tightened around her wrists, as he watched her eyes widen as she comprehend what he said, and threatened to do. He kissed her on the cheek and then he was gone.

Cleaning up George's body was gut wrenching, but she was not just going to leave him there in some random ally in the middle of Beijing. She payed someone to discreetly cremate him, and the next day she berried his ashes in the Beijing Botanical Gardens. Konrad was safe from Paul as long as he was in prison, but his stent ended in two years so Alice had time to figure out how to keep Konrad safe. A small part of her hoped that Paul would just forget about his plans, that he would just grow bored waiting for Konrad to get out of jail, but Alice new that Paul was hell bent.

Over the next few months she did what she could, and called in favors to keep off Paul's radar. She sent letters to her brother, to inform him on what was going on, and told him to watch himself. She made her way to Rome to report Paul's offences to the Guardians. Little did she know that Paul's mother, Gwendolyn, sat on the judges counsel, and was a one of the twelve Elder Garudians. Reporting Paul got nowhere and Gwen made sure of it.

Appreance: Slightly taller than the average height for a male his age but with a very skinny and lanky build giving him a sort of bedraggled look. His hair is black and messy with a medium-short length. His face is clean-shaven and his features are sharp. His eyes are a reddish-brown colour that seems more red than anything else but can't really be called that with a clean conscious. As far as clothing goes he wears blue jeans with a black long-sleeved shirt. There is also a bandage wrapped tightly around his right hand that covers a burn scar.

Race: Human with the pyrokinetic ability to manipulate fire although he can not generate it.

Height and Build: Slightly taller than average (If he really stretches he makes 6'1 I think but I don't use feet and inches so when google stops being a pain I will be more specific) Also a very scrawny/skinny build

Other Appearance: He has an Irish accent and a bandage tightly wound around the his right hand and goes up to his elbow.

History/bio: Aeden grew up in an orphanage after being abandoned by his biological parents Oliver Twist style at the gates during a stormy evening in Ireland. He was always the runt and was constantly bullied for it. Despite, or maybe because of it, he found himself more cheerful than miserable and only something more serious could make him feel more negative emotions but not impossible. As time drew on he became harder and harder to hurt but that only spurred the bullies on harder and they moved from psychological to physical.

After what seemed like forever a family finally took him with them and it was great. They were rich and sent him to the best schools and gave him a fantastic quality of life for three whole years. Aedan was eighteen and on his way back from his first ever job interview but upon arrival his heart plummeted as he saw the burning wreckage of his home and from inside the screams of his adopted parents and sister. Desperate to do something he ran forward and grabbed the doorhandle. As he did so the flames reach a gas main and the ensuing explosion should have killed him.

As it was he was thrown high into the air but the flames never moved past his extended right arm although they did hungrily lick at it. Aiden couldn't explain partially because he wasn't sure what happened but also because his throat was filled with smoke. As he looked around for answers he saw a figure sauntering off. One he recognized as one of the bullies from the orphanage.

Following the young man without hesitation he followed him into a secluded alleyway where the Aedan realized he had been lured into an ambush. The man dropped a lighter into a puddle of something flammable. It followed a trail to where Aedan was standing but as it was about to reach him he extended his burnt hand once more and the flames stopped, lifted into the air and shot backwards. They engulfed his would be attacker and as he screamed for mercy Aeden simply said "Burn." In a hoarse voice

A year later Aeden found himself ready to enter the gates of an academy that would be able to show him how to use his powers with a broad grin and in his pocket was the silver zippo light that had claimed three lives so far.

Family/Relationships: Nothing worth mentioning. He stays in touch with a few friends but only in a distracted sort of way.

History/bio:
Thomas was born to a working class British family in London, in 1804. They lived a relatively regular life - for a poor family - until one night in 1820. His family's home was broken into by vampires, and all of his family except for him, his brother James, and his sister Mary were killed. Mary was taken away, and the vampires, having fed enough off of their family, decided to turn Thomas and James into vampires.

Thomas and James traveled around Great Britain for three years until one night, when James was attacked by a hunter and killed. Thomas killed the hunter, and was depressed for years, blaming himself for not being careful.

In 1825, Thomas decided that to take his mind off of things he should travel, and leave the England. He traveled all over Europe for over 150 years, never staying in one place for too long. It was whilst traveling that he discovered his love for languages, although he still speaks in a British accent whenever speaking English. He also managed to get a daylight charmed necklace from a witch in France shortly after leaving England, whcih he always wears. Over the years, he has also trained his body to make sure that he is never killed by a hunter.

Thomas has come to Gringore Academy to get a proper education, being too poor for one when he was younger, and still looking like he is in his late teens.

The Hidden Ones

Montaville is a small town, located in Vermont, its surrounded by forests, and green pastures. Montaville could be considered one of those charming new England town you see in travel magazines, but a fresh coat of paint, and some sprucing up would be necessary. Off the beaten path and not connected to any major highways or roads, its not a place many people know of, or come across often.

Quint, quite, and traditional would be three words to describe it. 45 minutes to the nearest Walmart and McDonald, Montaville has no chain stores or fast-food places, just mom and pop stores, and the local diner. And like all small towns Montaville has its secrets, some even the local humans have no idea about...

Hidden from the rest of the world, and the town itself is another town, invisible to the humans and non-magics. A town with-in a town if you please. On the surface there is Montaville: An average little new England town, population of about 3,936 people.

Underneath the surface hidden from the human eye is 'Tellmore' a hidden world of fairytales, and nightmares. Vampires, Werewolves, Fae, Witches, and magic. Montaville is a place were the supernatural type flock. Tellmore is home of the prestigious Gringore Academy, and everything is build upon a magic rift, so its shrouded in an abundance of magic.

Gringore Academy - Has only been around for about 60 years now, as it opened in 1953. Its a place for all races with abilities to learn how to manage them, to be safe, and to also educate themselves. They can take regular classes as well, but the main focus is on their abilities and how to be live in human society. Its more like a college, and their are dorms if you want to live in them. Gringore Academy is the first school for only supernaturals.

Gringore is covered by a glamour, so humans only see the old abandoned state hospital. Only supernaturals can see what is really there. Gringore was a grand Victorian building, larger on the inside then it appeared on the outside. In addition to the glamour to ward off humans, there is also a protection spell cast on Gringore that makes humans who wonder to close feel sick the closer the get the worse they feel.

The interior of Gringore is enormous, with several corridors and hallways adorned with stone arches, and column. Classically decorated, it is reminiscent of the art nouveau period. It does not look anything like a normal school, with its stained glass windows, hand carved mahogany doors, and grand crystal chandeliers. The dorms are located in the west wing, and are more modern in appearance, they are all two to a room. And resemble a studio apartment with a loft.

Playable Races

Human

Humans have no magic. They have no idea about the supernatural world, and consider it all stories and myth. I'm assuming you understand what a normal human is.

Magic Able Humans

Humans with natural born abilities are rare, and typically have a supernatural ancestor somewhere up the family tree. In most cases the ancestor was a witch, demi, or one of the fae.

On the other hand sometime a human can be given a ability as a gift/curse from a god, or other supernatural.

A Human with an ability is called an ESPer, or gifted.

Mediumship - Communicating with spirits/ghosts/dead. Some humans if brought back to life through CPR/Defibrillator can gain this ability. Some are born with it, but its seen as more of a curse then a gift. The people you see on TV boasting and showing of there "powers" are just con artist. Spirits/ghosts only stay in our world if they have unfinished business, don't know their dead, were violently killed, or have strong lingering emotions/attachments to someone or an object. their is no friendly casper, and being able to see and talk to spirits is not very fun.

Aura reading - Can see energy fields surrounding people, places and things. The meaning of the aura varies from ESPer to ESPer. Some see the Aura of emotions, others see health, or some see relationships.

Lie Detection - To detect when another is lying; only catches untruths not lies of omission. Most humans with this ability have no idea they have it. The can tell when someones lying, but they get this through a feeling. Like clairvoyance, its a kind of perception.

Telepathy - To read another humans thoughts, or to transfer thoughts/emotions into another's mind. Its very very rare to be truly gifted with this ability.

Pyrokinesis - Manipulation of fire. or creation of fire with ones mind. This gift only present itself to someone in extreme distress or madness. (think of the movie 'Carrie'). More questions on this PM me.

Telekinesis - The ability to move solid objects with their mind. This ability takes quite a bit of practice to master. Heavy lifting is almost impossible, and one must train their mind like a muscle.

Magic Sight - Ability to see the supernatural, and they can see past glamours, and invisibility magic. Runs in families, and is a genetic ability. A lot of the time is skips every other generation. Many people with this ability can find through their lineage a connection with the one of the ancient hunter families.

Precognition - Premonition and precognitive dreams. Perception of events before they happen. Many people have a very tiny bit of this. Have you every had a strong since of deja vu? That would be it. But to be a true Precognition ESPer, your abilities are a lot more then that. In history many people with this ability were known as Oracles. Seeing future happenings through dreams, a lot of the time its just unimportant thing. Some even have the ability to see the past by touching objects/people.

The Hunters

For centuries hunters have placed it upon themselves to police and hunt the supernatural population and to protect normal humans from the unknown threat around them.

Hunters train in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, shotguns, crossbows, melee weapons, tracking, tactics, and other things such as lock picking, computer hacking, and car jacking. Hunters typically pass their knowledge onto their children. Knowledge of the supernatural and mythology are also vital to their training.

They are naturally athletic, observant, and possessors of uncanny instinct for people and their personalities. Hunters have the ability of 'Magic sight', making them able to see supernaturals, past glamours, and invisibility magic. They also have a kind of "sixth sense" that alerts them to the presence of supernaturals.

Hunters have adrenaline induced powers of slightly superhuman strength, durability, agility, reflex, speed. Their natural aptitude for fighting, and keen instincts keep them alive when up against powerful strong supernaturals.

Ancient Hunter Families

The ancient families are the earliest known hunters families, active in the first century AD all around the world. They are also the most famous, and respected of the hunter families. Their are hundreds of other families, and branches of hunters. These are just the most well known and powerful.

The families place various agents throughout the world whom hunt and terminate supernaturals.

Huo - They originate from China. Some of the best fighters are from this family. As of the last 100 years they have branched outside of Asia. They like to consider themselves superior to all other hunters. Their training is the most thorough and brutal of all the families. They even own/run an academy in Japan, for all young hunters to come and train, in exchange for a five year contract to work for the Huo family after graduation. -- The Academy is called 'Mamorimasu Gakuen' (aka Protect Academy)

Korikov - They originate from Russia. They dislike the Deveraux family, and their rivalry has been going strong for longer then anyone can remember. Many consider Korikov as the worst type of hunter. They are ruthless, xenophobic and sadistic hunters, who savagely torture and murder supernaturals, as they believe all supernaturals are abominations. They kill baby nymphs for goodness sake.

Wellesley - They originate from Western Europe, but 230 years ago they came on the first ships to the newly founded Americas. Their base of operations is in New York City. The Salem witch trials was their doing, as they thought to used the Christian religion and the mass hysteria to their advantage. They had wanted only witches to burn but it got out of control, and they could do nothing to stop the crazy people burning humans at the stake. Of the 20 people burned at the stake only two were actually a witches.

Jager - They originate from Germany. They mainly only go after vampires, lycanthropes, and witches, But if they come across a threatening supernatural they will go after it. An small disowned branch of the family that refers to their self as the brotherhood(act like a cult), were a big part of the Nazi regime in the 40s, they are the shame of the Jager family.

Deveraux - They originate from France, and only hunt supernaturals that are doing harm to the humans. They don't have prejudice like most hunters, and have a handful of peace treaties with the different supernaturals. Basically they only go after murders and law breakers of the supernatural world. The fair trial police kind of hunters. They even like to work with Supernaturals to track the 'bad ones'. They are well versed in witches laws and hunt down the rule breakers to bring back to the witches counsel for judgment.

Vampire

There are two ways to being a vampire: --
1. You can be born a vampire if both of your parents are vampires. After being born, a baby vamp ages rapidly (physically, and mentally) until they appear the age of eighteen, then they age normally until around 25-35 years old, when aging stops. Female vampires can only have 1-2 vampire births in their entire lifetime. A vampire is born with a faint heartbeat, that beats once every five minutes, once they stop aging their heart also stops beating. Many born vampires like to think/call themselves pureblood, and consider turned vamps as less. rapid ageing is 3 month is like 1 human year. example: 12 months after birth, a vampire would appear around four years old. --- If you need help with aging just PM me.

2. The other way is to become a vampire by being turned. This requires the vampire to drain a person of their blood until they are near death, and then to feed/inject their vamp blood into the victim. it is a 50/50 chance that the victim survives the change and becomes a vampire. Once someone becomes a vampire, their heart no longer beats and their ageing stops.

Diet: A diet of fresh blood is necessary for a vampire to survive. The type of blood the vampire drinks depends on the vampire. Human blood will make them the strongest, and is the only thing that can satisfy the hunger. After biting and feeding from a human, a vampire typically manipulates the humans memory into forgetting, and the fang marks heal in less then five minutes. To manipulate someones memory requires vamp venom, so mind manipulation only works after being bitten, and has to be done with the venom in their systems...so with-in about 4-8 hours. The use of blood bags is becoming more common as of the last decade.

Vampires can live off animal blood too, but its the equivalent of a human living of vitamins, and protein powder. Animal blood taste like cardboard, chalk, or bitter medications like NyQuil.

The only way to determine whether or not someone is a vampire is when they are feeding - their eyes turn sort of red/violet color, and their fangs come out.

Although blood is required to survive, vampires can eat and drink normal foods as long as they have a healthy diet of blood.

Vampires have heightened strength, speed, sight, smell, taste, and hearing. Vampires are not bothered by garlic, 'holy' water, or silver. They are mostly immortal, as in they can live forever, as long as they aren’t killed. They do not sleep.

To kill a vampire you must decapitate them, burn them to ash, or stake/inject them through the heart with Hemlock poison.

Sunlight can hurt vampires, causing their skin to burn. Direct exposure for to long (about two hours) will result in death, the body burning away and turning to ash. - Witches can charm things like jewelry to combat this vamp weakness::see below

Daylight Charms: With the help of witches magic, vampires can go out in the sun through the use of a charmed object. This item it typically a piece of jewelry. No matter the item, it has to be worn by the vampire at all times to be immune to the sun. It is more common in Asia for tattoo ink to be charmed and then the vampire tattooed. Some more tricky witches charm things like lotions, so a vampire has to keep coming back and pay for more.

They can not enter someones home without an invatation

Lycanthrope/Shifter

AKA as a werewolf is a person with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf. There are two types of werewolves. The Shifters, and the Lycanthropes.

1. A shifter is born to at least one shifter parent. They can shift into their wolf form at will, and are blessed with advanced healing, a very heightened sense of smell, and higher strength, hearing, and speed then a human. Their first shift happens around puberty, but the other abilities are apparent before that. They normally live in packs, and are protective of their own. Shifters are known to hate the Lycanthrope, and consider it their duty to hunt them down. Shifters mate for life. They run bit warmer than the average person, and have a heightened metabolism, so they can put away large amounts of food without gaining weight.

2. Lycanthropes are a cursed race of humans. They are a near-extinct species of individuals who unwillingly transform into large, fearsome and extremely hostile wolfbeast on the night of the full moon. A human with the Lycanthrope gene, has to kill a human in order to trigger their werewolf gene. It does not matter if the kill was accidental or intentional. If a Lycanthrope causes the death of a human, the cursed gene will be activated. Most people have no idea they are of the Lycanthrope bloodline, and can live there whole life without triggering the transformation. Lycanthrope's are typically more aggressive and quick to anger then your average human, they also are naturally athletic and strong. On nights of the new moon (no moon) they become weak, and lethargic. If a human/fae/demi/witch survives a Lycanthrope bite then they become a shifter-Lyconthrope hybrid - Basically they became a shifter but on the full moon they become wild beast.

The believed history of werewolves - It is believed that Werewolves have been around since ancient Greece. Their origin story is that of the Lycaon and Zeus myth (google it). Lyconthropes bloodlines coming from 'Lycaon the cursed', and Shifters coming from 'Nyctimus the spared son'.

Werewolves are not immortal, which means they can be injured or die from mortal wounds. And the age only few months slower then humans. Wolfsbane is a plant that inhibits the ability to heal, as does silver. Silver is poisonous and causes severe pain/burns when touched. Hunters have used them as arrowheads and bullets for centuries when hunting werewolves. As they are mortals they can be killed with any severe blow to their body. However, silver directly to the heart can kill them instantly.

Witch

Witches are their own race, not humans with magic. Called witches, castors, or magic-bloods, these terms are used for both males and females.

Their appearance is like every average human, though some have eye colors like purple, pink, orange, grey, etc.

Witches are mortal and their lifespan is exactly that of a humans. The die like all humans. (e.g. age, decapitation, disease, heart-failure, blood-loss, suffocation, etc.)

The excessive over use of magic can lead to disorientation, nose bleeds, unconsciousness, and if taken to the extreme, death.

It is against witch law for a witch to kill another witch. It is punishable by death. (burning at the stake)

Many are apart of, a coven (also called a circle). Typically these covens are made up of family members, and relatives. There is also quite a few covens made up of friends, or like-minded witches. Covens are necessary for teaching the next generation, for passing down their knowledge and skills. They also come together for ceremonies/rituals, such as celebrating 'all hallows eve'. While a witch's individual magic is strong and strengthens with training and practice, a coven has collective magic and is extremely more powerful.

The head of the coven is usually the eldest, or the one with the strongest magic.

Witch magic comes in the form of - Spells, potions, tarot cards, rituals, scrying, hexes, palm reading, runes, and charms.

Witches typically can speak/read/write in two or more languages. As many spells come in different languages. The most used languages for spells are: Latin, Greek, Hebrew, English, Gaelic, Chinese, Sanskrit, Egyptian Arabic, and some native american languages.

Witches keep their personal spells and potions recipes in their own spell book (also called a Grimoire, book of shadows, or Incantus). Every spell book is different, as they vary greatly. Many books are typically passed down through parent to children, and edited and added to over many generations.

The success of a spell will depend on if it is cast properly, and the power of the witch. Any person, substance, or thing that prevents a witch from giving full attention to their spells can hinder a witch from effectively pulling off magic/spells. A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the condition or feeling of being afraid could sometimes cause a witch to involuntarily block their own powers for a short time.

Specializations

At the age of 13 a witch chooses a specialization to focus on. Its advised to choose one you show natural affinity with. Many witches are well rounded in their magics, but some show more talented in one particular area.

Sanabit - Able to heal injuries, and wounds. This is done by assuming the injury into their own body and then healing themselves. They can also take a injury/pain and give it to another person. Knowledge of anatomy, and the systems of the body are necessary. Through skin to skin contact a Sanabit can find exactly what Ills someone. Can't cure disease or illness, but they can repair the internal damage the disease causes.

Adaquare - Can control and manipulate water in all its forms (vapor, ice, liquid). They can also change water from one state to another easily. They can breath under water.

Mortifero - Able to communicate/control spirits and ghosts. They can conjure them back to the world of the living into fresh corpses. They can put someone in a stasis death like coma. They can see how someone will die.

Naturalis - Specialization in witchcraft basics such as spells and potions. They study in the history and creation of spells, potions, and all witch magics. Well rounded, this is the most common specialization.

Ignis - Ability to create and manipulate fire/heat to ones will, and some can even generate and direct lightning.

Quaestum - Able to reveal the truth hidden inside of people or secret intentions just by looking at the person's face. They can also unlock forgotten memories, and find hidden/missing things.

Terreni - The power to control plant-life. One can cause plants to grow, and revive withered plants. They can shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, grass, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, and flowers. They can also channel energy from the earth for spell casting. They have the ability to manipulate earth and rock in all their various forms, including lava, though solid rock is much easier to manipulate then mud and magma. Sand is practically impossible to manipulate as they must focus on each individual grain of sand.

Intelligere - Ability of omnilligualism. Capable of instantly speaking and understanding any language fluently. Code braking, and understanding meanings behind someones words.

Propheta - The ability to see the past, present, and future. Specialization in the magics of divination.

Monemur - They control and manipulate air. They can purify air, and take the breath from someone lungs.

Fingumas - Able to create illusions, making things look like others, without it being real. They also can control others dreams while they are sleeping. They also can put people to sleep, and cause drowsiness by closely blowing into someones face.

Tempestas - able to influence the weather. They can modify the temperature of the environment, control all forms of precipitation, humidity and moisture. They can generate lightning. They can also dissipate such weather to form clear skies. The extremely gifted few can incite tornadoes, thunderstorms, blizzards, and hurricanes.

Fae

Fae is a really vague collective term, that encompasses about a dozen species that fall into the other category. This includes fairies, djinns, pixies, mermaids, gorgons, nymphs, and so on.

Fae are born not created like vampires. When two different kinds of fae have a baby together, that child will only take after one parent. So if a nymph woman and a pixie man have a child, that child would be ether a nymph or a pixie, not both, not a mix of the two. If the fae parents are the same type of fae then of course their child will be the same type as them. There are no hybrids or halfling Fae; offspring will ether take after one parent or the other, no mix (unless otherwise stated). Some fae species are more dominate then others. Offspring of a fae and human are rare but typically the child ends up as a gifted human/ESPer.

All Fae are allergic to Iron. It is like poison/kryptonite to them, and they will not go near it.

Fairy

Fairies look like very beautiful humans, but with pointed ears and shimmery skin.

They posses longevity but are not outright immortal; they typically live to be about 400 years old. They never appear elderly, but they do keep aging as time goes on, become more wise/mature looking, and their hair begins to gray around the age of 300. their skin instead of wrinkling becomes more fragile and papery looking.

When a fairy dies a corpse is not left, just a sparkling powder (aka fairy dust); the body just disintegrates.

Fairies love attention and admiration. They also enjoy frolicking and dancing. They like sparkly things and sweets.

They can generate and control light with their minds/hands. The light varies in color, from blue to golden. They also have the power to leech physical energy from an object, creature, or other energy source, which they can use for themselves or transfer to another. When using their powers, their hands will glow, or during more intense use, their entire body will glow. They can generate a translucent force-field out of energy. The force-field, like an actual solid, can be used as a protective barrier/shield from all magic.

Fairy Blood is like a drug to supernaturals. Drinking just a drop or two causes euphoria, hallucination, and hyperactivity. Taste like honey.

If a human baby between the ages of 0-3 months old is touched by a fairy, that baby turns into a fairy.

Pixie

They are winged, humanoid, people. Their wings are very thin and look fragile, but are not as they seem. Their wings resemble that of a insects (pic/pic), and are very soft like silk. Wings are used for flying and a way to show ones age, for the more worn looking wings the older the pixie. Pixies always look like they are between the ages of 17-25 years old.

Pixie are naturally mischief and full of malice. Many like to spend time pulling pranks on humans. They are very fond of the witch race. They hate being mistaken as fairies.

When angered they are extremely dangerous, they can cut you with their razor sharp fingers, their bodies can heat up to about 500 degrees, and their spit is like acid on skin. A bite from a Pixie is lethal to all supernaturals except witches.

They can change the size of oneself while preserving correct body proportion. The can become as small as 1 inch tall, and as large as 7 feet tall.

They live to be about 250 years old, and are otherwise very mortal.

Nymph

Nymphs can create, grow and cause all kinds of special properties to plant life. They can speak to animals.

They are considered minor nature deity, and are typically bounded with a particular location or landform, such as a forest or lake. They are immortal as their life is solely based on their environment.
-- A Nymph living in forest (among abundant nature) will live endlessly, right along side it. A Nymph living in a concrete jungle will age and die at the same rate a human might, albeit a little slower.

They are completely attuned to nature, and if the land they are bound to is sick, then they thus become sick.

Angelic-like Human appearances. They have noticeably angular features, and are generally slim, Graceful, and elegant.

They are vegetarians, believing that all forms of life should be respected. Though eating and drinking are not necessary to sustain life.

They normally never leave the place their born, and stay living happily among the other nymphs.

The other races consider them air-headed, naive, and bubbly. Nymphs emotions are less complex then all the other races. They can only feel one or two emotions at a time. There are some matters which are usually beyond their comprehension. Complex Emotions and tact, in particular, are difficult for them to grasp, so often a Nymphs will state out loud something which would normally be politely avoided by other races.

Reaper

AKA Grimm, Death, or Shinigami.

A reaper looks human, the only difference being the hair color varieties. A Reapers hair can be black, white, or gray/silver.

Reapers are an independent solitary kind of people. They favor wearing the color black. They consider Vampires to be abominations.

They have the power to take life and give life to anyone they choose. However, when a life is resurrected, a life must end. Reapers can alter human perception to make themselves appear any way they want. They can fly, and can teleport anywhere they have been before. Invisibility, and changing into a non-tangible ghost form is also something they can do.

They can go to and from the underworld to the land of the living whenever they please. They live by feeding of the essence of dead souls. When finished feeding they help guide the soul to the underworld.

Souls of suicide victims are like a poisonous sickness to a reaper, and if eaten can kill them. When around them it causes weakness.

They are immortal-like and can live up to 5,000 years old.

Gorgon

They look like humans, except for their hair which is made of snakes. Normally they keep their snake hair wrapped up in scarfs, and fancy fabrics They have a a split tongue.

Looking into the eyes of the hair snakes causes the looker to turn into stone. They can morph the bottom half of the body into that of a snakes.

They are carnivores, and their jaw is like that of a snakes. They can swallow a watermelon whole if they wanted.

Gorgons are very vain and prideful race, they dislike anyone more attractive then them, and are the mean girls of the supernatural world.

There are no male Gorgons, only female. A gorgon can only give birth twice in their lifetime. Gorgons always breed gorgons. Births are typically of multiples (i.e. twins, triplets, etc).

They live to be about 300 years old.

Merfolk

They reside in unknown places in the deep ocean. They live in beautiful underwater cities. They have been seen by humans in before.

They Have a Human head, arms, and torso, but the tail of a fish. Enchantingly beautiful, there skin looks silver underwater, and sometimes have hues of blue and grays to them. There eyes come in every color imaginable, but the most common is blue, grey, green, brown, black, or violet. There hair comes in red, white, silver, blonde, browns, and blacks.

Their lifespan is the same as a human.

They swim fast, breath underwater, Can communicate with aquatic creatures, their bodies can endure extreme cold and water pressure, they have enchanting beautiful voices that can, if they want, bewitch, and enchant the mind of humans, normally the opposite sex. Ultimately leading the person to drown.

Merpeoples tears turn into priceless gemstone called Orpyru, as Merpeople live underwater, these tear-gems only occur when they are outside the water when crying.
- Orpyru - Is the rarest gem in the world. It is a color-changing gemstone: its hue shifts from clear to different colors depending on the light it's exposed to, and the temperature.

Merpeople can also weave an extremely valuable material called Gloss, it translucent and beautiful, normally used for wedding veils, gowns, and can be burned in fire to make it hotter and the flames become white.

There blood is silver and is said to taste like olive oil. Merblood is known to cure all poison,

Their typical age of death is unknown to everyone outside there race. It ranges between 90-110 years old.

They stay hidden from humans and supernaturals as over centuries they have been hunted/captured for their blood, and abilities to create gloss and Orpyru.

They can leave water, and walk on land with legs if they stay dry. (think H20 or the movie splash)

Weevil

Also known as Leprechauns. They can live to be about 150 years old.

A Weevil Has gold-dusted skin, and bird like eyes. But they can us glamours to appear human.

They are a kind of trickster fae, and love to make deals; they twist the deals to their advantage (Think Rumpelstiltskin).

They also feed off a human's luck, thus causing the victim to become unlucky. This feeding is not a necessary thing, as they can sustain themselves on regular food, but is done for fun, and accumulating luck to use for themselves. They also can bestow individuals with luck.

They are extremely cunning, greedy, and enjoy partaking in mischief. They horde gold, gems, and other valuables, but what they really like most of all is rare magic items. Crossing them is a thing to avoid as they have refined a grudge to a fine art.

Weevil's are bound via an old witches spell. This spell works to summon and trap a Weevil. They cannot get free from the spelltrap until the person who summoned them is granted three wishes. However, Weevils are cunning tricksters, they often twist the wishes around so they turn out poorly. It is a very rare spell though, and not many people can get their hands on it, as many Weevil's have done what they can to find the written versions of the spell and destroy them.

Cervian People

AKA Cervi or Cree

They look like any other human, and have the same lifespan too.

Cervian people have a physical manifestation of a their soul, called a Syxtar. A Cervian and their Syxtar are one being, the death of one results in that of the other. It is physically and emotionally painful for them to separate too far from each other. Death usually follows such separation due to the severe trauma.

During the childhood of a Cervian, their Syxtar can shapeshift into any kind of animal. These childhood changes are due to emotion, need for a protection, or simply the Syxtar's whim. When a Cervian reaches puberty, their Syxtar settles into a permanent animal form. This form represented the personality of the Cervian.

Touching someones Syxtar is taboo.

Cervian people have the abilities of night vision, and Pain Immunity.

Djinn

AKA Genies, Dust Devils, Jinns, or Wishmasters

Djinn are like human beings, they are both free-willed and can also be good, evil, or neutral.

Djinn's occupy a small parallel realm to that of mankind. A place they call 'Borkas'.
They are extremely magical beings able to grant wishes.

Guardian Djinn's are like priestess/priest, and they are guardians of the fountain of youth, the well of wonders, and magic mirrors. (Messing with guardian Djinn is a very bad idea, they will curse you to become a Sealed Djinn)

They typically take things very literally.

There are only 6 unbreakable djinn laws/rules. Braking these rules causes a Djinn to become Sealed.
1. You Cannot kill another Djinn
2. You cannot grant more then three official wishes a person.
3. You Cannot make people fall in love, or take away their free will.
4. You cannot grant a wish of raising the dead.
5. You cannot use your wish granting magic for yourself (this one has quite a bit of loop holes)
6. You cannot grant a wish to make someone die.

Djinn's should never ever drink Alcohol. It causes their magic to go wacky. They become rather wild, as their personally becomes unmanageable, and chaotic. There emotions are intensified a 100% and self control flies out the window. Crazy, until the alcohol wears off. A manic Djinn is not something you want to witness. Pompeii was caused by a drunk Djinn, and so was the Helike Tsunami and Earthquake.

Djinn's can bare children with any humanoid species/creature. You can only be born a Djinn if your mother is one. So if a Djinn woman and a witch man have a child, that child would be a Djinn, the same species as the mother. If a Djinn man and a Fairy woman have a child, the child would be a fairy.

Djinn's are extremely knowledgeable about all the different magics in the world.

They are made of smoke, but typically like to stay in their solid human looking form.

Djinn's age slower them humans. Five years in a human lifespan is equal to one Djinn year. Djinns are mortal. There first five years of life are accelerated as the grow up just as fast as a human, but once they reach five years old there aging slows. So an eleven year old Djinn is the equivalent of a seven year old human. A thirty-five year old Djinn is a equivalent to a twelve year old human. ---PM me if you need help with the ageing.

POWERS - They can fly/float, turn invisible, grant wishes, teleport, change their size, control smoke, eidetic memory, shape shift, and can speak/read/write all languages.

Bound, Unbound, Free, Cursed, and Sealed

Bound - Djinn's become bound to a receptacle (usually a genie lamp/bottle), when a Dijinn's powers fully manifest, between the ages of 20-35 years old. The receptacle becomes a personal portal between 'Borkas' and all other realms. Though the receptacle cannot reside in 'Borkas', so they are hidden/kept in a different parts of our world.

Free - A free Djinn is one that has yet to become bound and gain their full power. These are the young Djinn.

Sealed - Guardian Djinn's can curse any humanoid species to become a sealed Djinn. For regular Bound Djinn If their receptacle is found and rubbed by a human, the receptacle becomes a prison of sorts to the Djinn, which they cannot leave without the certain events happening (rubbing the lamp, command from their master, etc). They are sealed, the portal ability does not work any longer, and the Dijinn becomes a servant/slave to the person who obtains the receptacle. The Dijinn stops ageing, and gains semi-immortality when sealed. They grant there master three wishes and they are stuck in the receptacle until another new master comes along, and this goes on and on for centuries. If a Djinn brakes one of the Djinn laws, they automatically become sealed. There are only three ways out of being sealed.
1 - The master wishes you free - Doing this turns the Djinn back to bound.
2 - The Master wishes to be a Genie - The master takes the place of the Djinn. The Djinn becomes Unbound. The Master becomes a sealed Djinn.
3 - The receptacle is destroyed. - To destroy a receptacle is almost impossible. The Djinn becomes Unbound.

Cursed - Are not originally of the Djinn species. They have been cursed by Guardian Djinn. Turning them into a Sealed Djinn. If one of the three ways out of being sealed happens they return to whatever they once were (Human, werewolf, Fae, witch, etc.) and are transported back to wherever they came from.

Unbound - Djinn's that have become unbound from their receptacle loose a great amount of their power, and become mortal again.

Demi

Demi or demi-gods are people born from one human parent and one parent that is a god. These gods can vary depending on their mythology origin. Norse, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, are just a few to choose from.

Since one parent must be a human, these demi-gods cannot be born from another type of supernatural race. Their non-god parent must be human, though they could be a ESPer.

It is strictly forbidden for the child to see their parent who is a god. They must live with their human parent, or be given to someone else on earth. If the parent that is a god is a female, upon birth, she must give the child up to the human parent or to someone on earth who will raise the child.

Powers, weaknesses, strengths, and other qualities vary depending on the god the Demi originates from. Any powers the Demi has will come directly from the parent that is a god, and should be relevant to that god domain/powers.

Demi-gods are all mortal. And their lifespan is the same as a human. And because demi-gods are mortal, they can basically die the way a human could.

Dragon

Other then the following, Dragons are Human in appearance.

Eyes - Come in all colors of the rainbow. Many have vertical slit pupils, or no pupils at all. Heterochromia is not very rare to see in the Dragon race.

Skin - Under moonlight Dragon people have a slight glow to there skin. On nights of the new moon (no Moon in sky) Dragoth skin glows silvery, and a pattern of scales appears, until the sun breaks the horizon.

They can shift themselves into their dragon form. Which is a Humanoid appearance, with sharp teeth, horns, claws, scales on limbs and back. In this form they have bat like dragon wing that can be used to fly. Only in Dragon form can they breath fire and fly. -- Not like the dragons you see in picture books.

Blood - Dragon Blood is blue in color and is also the most deadly poison in the world.

Dragons are not affected by any poisons.

They are semi-immortal. They have a typical life span of around 90 years. When they die, they are regenerated or reborn again. There dead body slowly turns to ash over a period of five days, and then among the ashes they regenerate into a newborn baby. This is not reincarnation, they are still the same exact person, but they regress back into a newborn. Around the age of five they start regaining memory of there past. Dragons have ten lives, and after the tenth they die for good and are not reborn again. They are only able to have children during their tenth life cycle.

They are cold blooded in the same way as reptiles.

They are known for being fast, agile, very flexible, with quick reflexes and can Camouflage like a Chameleon. They are flexible as in Elasticity to the max, meaning they can stretch, deform, expand, or contract their body into any form imaginable (like a rubber-band).

Ahool

The true form of an Ahool is a monstrous bat/rat creature. Though they can morph at will into a humanoid appearance, they appear as ashy, ghoulish, and corpes looking, and can't keep up the transformation for more then a couple hours, do to not have very much magic. Keeping up a human glamour is rather difficult and sometimes draining.

They are excellent in stealth hunting, and are clever despite their appearance. Ahools are naturally brutal and vicious, and the race is more barbarian like then anything else. They also have practically no fear or any conscience, thus making them the psychopaths of the supernatural world. Ahools can fly, due to their true form being a bat like creature, they have very strong wings. They possess an animalistic strength and speed, along with natural keen sonar hearing. And like animals they have a great sense of smell.

They can only mate within their own race, and do to being solitary creatures Ahools are one of the most rare peoples. Like vampires they sustain themselves by drinking blood. They are strictly carnivorous, and prefers the flesh of sapient creatures.

They are Immortal, but have little to no magic abilities, and because of this strong magic is normally the only way to subdue an Ahool. Witches spells can bind them to a place, keep Ahools asleep for centuries, curse them, or capture them in something. Once they are subdued all you have to do is not feed the Ahool any blood for months, and once they start starving they become killable. The only other way to kill a Ahool for good is to cut them into a million pieces...literally. This execution must be done with a one of the 12 blessed Guardians sword, and then the body chunks must be burned in white fire created by mermaid gloss.

All supernaturals hate and fear Ahools, and for justified reasons, as Ahools are more of a terror then all other races. Guardians even have a rule that says that they must kill all Ahools they come across, without trial.

The Guardians

Is an ancient organization of protectors, of the supernatural world. Called guardians, they are like the police/CIA of the Supernatural world. I use the term police loosely.

In order to be a guardian one must past a test, that is held every three years, in Rome. Training for the test includes classes in fighting techniques, strength training, tracking, weapons usage, and Supernatural laws/history.

The test is grueling and some even lose their lives, but if you pass you are a guardian for life. And take the oath to protect the supernaturals, keep the peace, and keep the humans from finding out about the supernaturals. Killing hunters is a bonus.

Once you pass and become are guardian you are given a magic tattoo on the back of your neck that indicates you are a true guardian. This tattoo is called a 'Tiljaw Mark' and is a magic sigil. It grants a Guardian the ability to communicate telepathically with other guardian, when they choose. It also enhances stamina, strength, and adds the ability of Danger Intuition to the marked person. A true Tiljaw mark only works when the a guardian tattoos it onto the wearer in the ancient black magic ink, that is protected by the elder Guardians in Rome.

Training is typically done at one of the five Guardian institutes located in Rome Italy, London England, Timișoara Romania, Mosfellsbær Iceland, and Sydney Australia.

Gringore is the only place outside the guardian institutes that you can take official classes in preparation for the test. And some individuals just train on their own.

True Form

Metallic gold hair, that shines like metal but is soft to the touch. Bird like cobalt blue eyes. And her skin appears gold dusted, and depending on the light her skin can look like she bathed in gold body glitter, or is just shimmery golden. Her fingernails are sharp tipped.

History/bio:
Marceline was born in St. Louis Missouri. Her mother, Sabine, had had no idea she was pregnant and went into labor as she was dancing her way through a rave. Needless to say is was an interesting and intense birth. Thankfully Marceline was born healthy and quick. Sabine not only was surprised to be giving birth, but when Marceline popped out all gold and glittery she was not very happy, as it meant her ex-fling Roscoe was the father

Sabine was never the motherly type, so when Marceline was two weeks old Sabine dropped her off at her mother’s place in Chicago. And so Marceline was mainly raised by her Grandmother Zelena, until Sabine finally got around to telling Roscoe he was a father four years later. Sabine came around every few months to crash for a few days until she was off again, she always brought a present for Marcy and her older son Lucifer.

When Roscoe was finally told about Marceline, and how he was a father, he swooped right in to take up responsibility. Marceline was four years old when she met her father for the first time, and he fell completely in love with his little girl. Roscoe didn’t want to separate Marceline from her older brother and her grandmother, so instead of living with him full time, he and Zelena set it up that Marcy would stay with him during the summer, and he would come to Chicago for holidays.

When Marceline was eight years old her mother came home 7 month pregnant, and wanted a fresh start with her children, she wanted to be a mom. So she packed up Marceline and Lucifer’s things and left with them in the middle of the night. Zelena was unhappy to lose the kids; they had come to be like children of her own.

Living with her mother in a trailer park in Arizona was very different for Marcy, compared to living in her huge two story house in Chicago, with her loving Grandmother. Sabine was practically a stranger, and one heck of a hot tempered pregnant woman. Lucifer resented their mother so the house was usually full of arguments. Marcy missed Zelena, and her home in Chicago.

Two months later Sabine gave birth to a baby girl who she named Yasmine. Having a baby sister was different, and to be totally honest Marceline hated it. Sabine dumped most of the responsibility of the taking care of baby Yasmine on Lucifer and Marceline. Weekly phone calls to Zelena, and summers spent in Vermont became her only peaceful place.

Marcy was eleven when Lucifer left to live with his biological father in Miami, after a huge fight between him and Sabine. Marceline was left alone with little Yasmine most of the time. There were many times when Sabine didn’t come home for days, and Marcy was left to completely fend for herself. Marceline was sick of it all, so she started forming a plan to runaway to live with her dad.

At first it was just a day dream, but when Sabine started bringing home her partying, and lovers Marceline was ready to put her plan into action. Leaving Yasmine behind didn’t feel like an option, but she had no idea what to do with her three year old sister. Marceline started taking luck from the kids at school, and gambling with the teenagers in the trailer park. She was saving up money for a bus ticket to Montaville Vermont, where her dad was.

And finally they day came, she dropped little Yasmine off the only other supernatural in the trailer park, an old witch. She left a message on her Grandma Zelena’s answering machine about what she was going to do, and were to find Yasmine. Then she biked three miles to the bus station. It took seven days to get to Vermont from Arizona. The greyhound bus ride was a long, but everything went rather smoothly for Marceline as she used the stored up luck. She was 12 years old and the seven day journey sealed the independent part of her personality. A strong survival instinct and sense of self-sufficiency became apparent attributes.

The greyhound bus didn’t go to Montaville, so Marceline ended up alone in Burlington Vermont. All her stolen luck used up, and her money spent. Feeling overwhelmed, scared, and exhausted she ended up sleeping inside the play place of a 24 hour McDonald’s, and tricking little kids into giving her their happy meals. After a terrible night’s sleep and a good cry in a McDonald’s bathroom, she called her big brother Lucifer. He yelled at her, and told her that Sabine, Zelena, and Roscoe were freaking out, waiting for her in Montaville, and they had sent a Shifter tracker to find her. Lucifer told her to get her ass to Montaville, and then he quietly apologized for leaving her alone, when he left to stay with his dad, and promised to come get her when he graduated high school.

She stole some more luck, and a bike. Marceline road 82 miles to Montaville, it took her over 11 hours and by the time she got there it was midnight. She had to work up the nerve to knock on her dad’s door, but when her father opened it, and scooped her up into a hug, she just started balling her eyes out and mumbling sorry. Her mother looked like she wanted to smack her in the face, and Zelena just looked worn out. Yasmine sat watching on the couch, and then started crying too when she saw Marceline. It was an emotional time, and then her dad and Zelena said they would figure everything out tomorrow. Sleep came easy, she was so tired and sore, just happy to be in her bed.

The next day her mother had left on a flight to AZ to pack up their trailer, and Zelena had left to do the same to her home in Chicago. While Marcy had slept the adults had decided it was best for her to stay with her father, but Sabine wanted to be part of her life, and Zelena was not going to allow Sabine to take care of Yasmine without supervision. So Zelena and Sabine were getting an apartment together in Montville.

She was fourteen, and it had been two good years living with her day, and seeing her mother, Zelena, and Yasmine daylily. Lucifer came to Montaville to start college at Gringore, but mainly to be near to his sisters. Sabine had come full circle, left her partying days behind, and found worked as a tattoo artist, and part-time bartender. Yasmine was just fine, and Zelena started teaching ‘Fae History’ at Gingore.

Sadly the happy times came to an end only a year later, when a group of Korikov Hunters came to town. With-in two weeks the hunters had killed, 4 vampires, 2 shifters, 5 witches, 1 pixie, and 3 gorgons. Once the whole Tellmore community figured out that it was hunters, they came down and murdered them one by one in a matter of hours. The one pixie that had been killed was Zelena. With the death of the closest thing she had to a real mother, Marceline turned to the darker side of things, and became much more manipulative, and angry. Korikov hunters made her list of things to destroy.

Now she is 19, and living in the dorms at Gringore. She has been taking the necessary classes to qualify as a guardian.
