You know your summer will be great when you're watching Troom Troom makeup hacks, but you're a 25 year old male who doesn't know what pigment is. #thuglife

Bio

My name's Erklings25, but you can call me Erk, or Richie. I've been RPing since I was 9 and I'm still not any good at it. You saw nothing. I'm a massive film/literature/theatre buff, so feel free to drop me a PM if you want to chat about that kind of stuff. Because I have nothing interesting to say, here's a quote I'll leave you with that always inspires me:

HASTA LA VISTA BABY!

@ChaoticFox I'm working on it!
@EchoicChamber Yup, I'll get to that ASAP!
@Dr Catfish Sorry if that sounded malicious. I've had a rough day, so I'm in really bad mood. Gotta try and keep up the pep though.

But in my opinion you're discussing ethics, not synthetic philosophy. I will fight anyone who tries to disagree! XD
@KahleenCuthald Sorry about that. I just call everyone gentlemen. Unless they say otherwise. Thanks for telling me, though!

I don't mind a good debate, but I just prefer it in the PMs. I like to keep a good atmosphere.
@Dr Catfish @KahleenCuthald
Gentlemen, you're spamming our OOC. If you wish to debate ethics, please may I suggest you do it elsewhere.

Yes, Nexus would be a very well-designed robot if he had a logic filter, so I do not see why he can't use it. However, it's his job to follow orders. We must also remember none of our characters are autonomous because WE CONTROL THEM! So, really, its how we want to portray our characters. If anyone has a problem with the way another RPs, is it really their place to say so? No.

So for the love of god calm down.
@Jeyma Accepted!

Quick question, if she's born in 2017, how is she 25?

Marty rolled his head back, listening to all the questions bombard him. He grinned at the warring robots, well robot and cyborg. He liked Nexus' gumption, but he also acknowledged the fact that Gar was actually being rather sensible suggesting an intelligent method of attack. As Nexus counter argued him, Marty waved his hand as a sign for them to shut up. He didn't know about the rest of the crew, but Gar and Nexus were doing his head in.

He did have a fairly solid plan of attack. The Admiral made him come up with it in their meeting, mainly because if he didn't do it right there and then, he probably wouldn't have remembered. He was about to answer Luci's question when Nexus interuppted him. Loosing his cool for a second, he simply said "Nexus, buddy. I guess you see yourself as the most sensible thing on this ship, so no matter what Gar says, you're going to argue. Well, you clearly aren't. I will not follow through with either of your ludicrous suggestions, frankly, boys. As quick as good old fashioned broadsides would be, I would lose my job if we accidentally killed a hostage. And you, boys, would be for the scrap pile. I want you two to man our good old laser-photon 'blaster'. You're needed for no more than that. Anyone else?"

He next noted Christian and Masha chip in on Luci's earlier question. He was rather taken aback by Masha's request to try and negotiate with the Titchua. For someone who hadn't carried out a mission before, she seemed ballsy. Instead of answering them, he gleefully pushed a button in his chair, turning to the next slide on his presentation, detailing his strategy. "I do love a good slideshow! Well, I don't think that the Titchua are in a talking mood. They won't listen to us, they'll just request their planet back. So, I decided, we'll send round a couple of 'diplomats' as a distrcaction, but send a team of explorers to free the hostages. Then we escape, with them being none the wiser. I was going to send Mr Rolands and a willing volunteer round, I guess that's you, Masha. We got that? Thank god, I was starting to get serious there!"

Marty was taken by surprise as gusts of warm wind filled the room, blowing his hair back slightly. He looked almost better than before. He laughed at the ruined state of his colleagues. His laugh was counteracted with a silent groan as Nexus applied fridge magnets to Ramona's blouse. He screwed his eyes shut before anyone would notice him. Truly, it was a disappointment. After ousting after Ramona for years, that is. Somehow, when he was preparing to tell her how he felt he always ended up chickening out, leaving his feelings ambiguous.

He opened his eyes at the familiar sound of Luci's voice, giving a dorky salute. At the entrance of the new doctor on the ship, he sat up again, debating the idea of announcing who she was to those who didn't know her. It would probably take too much time. He could always incorporate it into his meeting speech. He was about to slump back into his seat when Mr Rolands came striding in. Marty chuckled at his request for everyone to sit down.

"You took your sweet time getting here, Ryan. No need to explain, nobody died." He shot Rolands a half smile before rising out of his chair, flicking out the lights and setting up a holo-projector. Sure, not everybody was there, but he had been waiting long enough, and he had their mission written on a slideshow that was beaming onto the back of the room. "Ladies, gentlemen and Luci. It is time we begin our meeting. Please, be seated. There have been recent reports of a group of rouge Titchua raiding IOSE ships."

"Seems normal enough, right? Wrong! Apparently they're holding some imposrtant dignitaries hostage. They were transporting something rather important that the Admiral didn't tell me about. The dick. So, we're flying off to the Dragontooth Nebula, and looking for a ship. I'll expect everyone to be on full alert. Of course, this mission is dangerous, but now we have our new doctor, Miss Wolfe, it should be a bit less dangerous."
He pointed vaugely at Wolfe, shooting her a killer smile, before turning back to his precious slide show. "Welcome to the fold, carissimo." He had an odd tendency to refer to people with overly affectionate nicknames. "Don't really think you need to know more than that. Any questions?" He sat down in his chair, vaguely scanning the room. No doubt Rolands would contribute some information that was totally irrelevant, like 'They're located in the upper sector of the Nebula'. Heaven knows why the Admiral thought he was useful.
