Current Lots of ideas, voices in your head? You may not be schizo, just need to find a plot and start writing.

Movie Studios don't use AI to generate scripts because they're not copywritable. My writing is mine, not the world's to play with.

I like that the Amish gives their kids a chance to decide if they want to stay in their parent's religion.

"Badgers?" he said, sweating as he heard gun hammers being cocked unseen behind him. "We ain’t got no badgers. We don’t need no badgers. I don’t have to show you any stinkin' badgers!"

Bio

I am a seven-foot tall minecraft-playing hindu guru drag-queen alien.

Possessor of an Ancient Device™ Model 17. No, I don't know what it does. No, you can't play with it.

Pronouns: It. As in: "What is it? What does it want? Why is it here? Oh my god, it's got my... <insert random body part or object here>"

Likes: World Domination, Writing, Rpg, scifi/fantasy, anime, sketchup 3d models, and anime music videos.

Companions: a host of characters from other games, my personal muse Penny (as in Bad), and the Badger gang - Toothpick, Buttons, Shark, and Mongo. They grew up in the balcony of an old theatre that played a lot of gangster movies. Normally benign, but may invade the OOC forums.

Still interested, I'm turning generated details into a workable history. As my character will need to meet your ship at some point, I'm wondering where the start is?

Should I go into great detail about the village my character is in? I'm thinking a village would work in better that creating a duchy.
I'm working on a fledgling mechanic, who for a number of reasons really needs to leave the town they're in. Accused of a crime they didn't commit and was cleared, but they know too much about other crimes in the area.
J'eon the Blacksmith

"I've never seen so large a piece of sky metal," the Glen staring intently in awe as he pointed at the fireball. "Usually it's small chunks, but they hit the ground so very hard! I do not know what will happen when such a large rock hits. It may shatter or bury itself deep in the ground."

J'eon turned towards the others.

"This will be a story long told among the clans."

Jack Mallory, X.O.

Jack swallows. A safe place to put down?

"Captain, we've got mountains, a lake, and more mountains," the X.O. reports. "My respects to the pilot, but if we can't do a soft landing, we need to aim for the lake."

"We're likely to flood, so we'll need to get everyone off the ship and to shore as quickly as possible. It'll be tight in the lifepods, but a very short distance."

But...

"Only thing is, I can't reach anyone on the radio. If we stay in the water, we're likely to lose the Jo' before rescue arrives. Our best bet to save the ship is to keep the drive going and skim for the shoreline. If we can push enough of ourselves out of the water, we should be okay."

And at least a year or more in repair yards, Jack scowls, and testifying in front of boards and committees about what we should have done and questioning everything. Then another year to get the Jo' recertified. Assuming whoever was behind the attack on them didn't try again. Two years, maybe more, wasted!
Let me see if I've got it:

  • The source of all magic is life force, known as "vitas";
  • Vitas is in all living things;
  • Vitas in humans degrade over time (we're leaking vitas);
  • To use magic, we have to spend some of our vitas;
  • Supernatural creatures crave vitas;
  • Killing living creatures releases their vitas;
  • Supernatural creatures kill other living creatures to get their vitas;
  • Killing supernatural creatures releases their vitas to those around them as they die;
  • Immortals are glutted with non-degrading vitas and attract supernaturals towards them;
  • We're imprisoning Immortals in iron caskets to keep them from attracting supernaturals.

But if supernaturals crave vitas and we, the human race, are leaking them, doesn't that make cities the next-best source next to Immortals?

What happens to the vitas that humans and other living creatures leak? Does it lie about (perhaps collecting in pools to create the fountain of youth, healing springs, etc.), or is it collected by something?

Does that lead to the birth of supernatural creatures? Or does that get sucked into immortals, so big cities act as charging stations for immortals?

If Immortals suck up all that leaking vitas and we lock up the immortals in metal caskets, does that uncollected vitas spawn another immortal?
So is there a source to this magic?

If it's internal, how quickly does it replenish?
  • Like, if I throw a fireball, am I waiting a few seconds, a few minutes, an hour, a day, a month...?
  • Does it accrue faster if I eat a piece of hard candy? Eat a candy bar? Chug down a monster energy drink?

If it's external, is it like tapping into a ley line?
  • Filing up a reservoir?
  • Live sacrifice? (So, uh, nice altar. Those knives look so very sharp (and bloody)... Oh, is that the time? I... ooh. Aheh, this door is locked, can you... why are you wearing that robe?)

So like vampires have a lot of mana after feeding?
