What a day yesterday had been. Sifen had an apprenticeship for an entire three or four hours before being kicked out of an airship for pulling some 'unneeded parts' out of the engine mid flight. The ship didn't crash, since it was functionally just fine. He knew those engines in and out and the model they were using was inefficient and needlessly heavy. So he popped his head into the moving engine and very swiftly, with deft hands and movements full of grace, unhinged some bits and bobs before returning to his master, who's face shot whiter than a ghost. He was then escorted to the door and dropped (Of course they swept closer to the ground as to not kill him.)

And there he was, stranded in Besaid with no connections other than bad blood between old mentors. He spent most of the day either trying to steal or trade scrap metals for food and gathering some cardboard to sleep on. His belly not full and his body exhausted, Sifen pulled up the blanket that was made of a few shirts sewn together and rested on his cardboard mat. He didn't pass out right away, since he kept getting visits from small animals and the occasional hover would whir by. After a bit, he saw the airship he came with take off and leave in the sky and passed out finally.

Waking up to panic in the streets and people screaming about the blitzball stadium being attacked by fiends wasn't exceptional. The homeless engineer popped up and grabbed his trust rifle, holstering his grenade launcher onto his backpack full of tools and scrap metal and started to make his way to the stadium, as it seemed all of the commotion was over and done and the scrap metal would be all over the place. Maybe he could find an engine to make his first robot of sorts! A nice automated metal detector and collector, something he had dreamt of after cutting his hands on sharp metal far too many times. However on his way to the stadium, he noticed something interesting. A floating machina following a group of people rushing some sleeping girl covered in... blood? Paint? Sifen didn't know, but that robot might have an engine that could be of use. He followed them through this unknown city to a hut on the edge of the town.

The group entered, leaving Sifen's view, but he did not slow his approach, reaching the outside of the hut as quiet as a boy carrying a bag of scrap metal and tools on his back as well as ammunition for more guns than he even owned possibly could. The clanging was no louder than the jingle of a set of keys would make, but loud enough that stealth wasn't a good plan. He entered the hut only to be directly within view of almost all of the occupants and he froze up, and without thinking sprinted full bore to the machina he was planning to dismantle for it's engine. With one hand on his pack that was rattling violently making a cacophony of rattles, jingling sounds and ruffling and another reaching out ready to grab the small hovering machina, he raced through the entrance. Hopefully his momentum could carry him through the occupants, and then out the next wall if he used his back to take the hit.
Perfect. Post getting written as we speak!
@Experiment 249 Helios floats.

Edit: Helios technically can be carried when not active- but for now just using a propulsion system to hover.

So is he following you back to the house or is he being carried?
Finally I can work up a post! To clear one thing up, is that medical machina little guy (helios) following you guys around or is it like just chilling in a backpack or something?

Kel didn't have time to react when he saw the shadow of something vaguely human shaped fall from the tower. He nodded at his dragon prisoner of war (who gave up willingly) before gripping the reigns once again, queuing for Druug to take off. But the wyvern stayed, still staring down the dragon as Kel turned to watch their tactician who tried to get him killed earlier fall. He hated the guy and was still a bit mad about being sent to fight archers but not mad enough to kill the guy. He tugged and tugged for Druug to move but the wyvern stayed put until Kel tossed the last rabbit carcass hitched to his belt toward the tower, getting the Wyvern to break his focus and start flying.

But it was too late by then, Gaius had been dropped off by the new pegasus knight who he hadn't seen before. Druug let out a roar as Kel gave a salute to the man holding the reigns and flew up to the tower hearing a whistle and seeing an arrow pierce just past his face, floating seamlessly over Druug's wings and by the bridge of his nose into the tower. Kel keeping a steady ascent to where he could see the bandit leader's figure, silhouetted by blue flames and thick smoke. He was checking for anyone inside, ignoring what the bandit leader may have been doing while hovering close to the edge in case he'd need to hop off of Druug to help drag someone out. If that arrow hit the man was unknown, the smoke and heat were obscuring his vision too much. He inched Druug closer, trying to waft the smoke from his face but his vision was not clearing, he and Druug were now one good jump's distance from the tower and Kel had to close his eyes which were filled with tears from the smoke. "Anyone in there hop on and we'll get you down!" He called. His lungs, thankfully, were conditioned to smoke filling them after years of time with Druug and other recreational hobbies involving smoke and fire. He held a hand out, still blind.
Any setting other than the stadium (or just a not so actively being attacked/battled inside of stadium)
FINALLY found a way to intro my character. Just gotta wait for a setting change.

Mhmm I think Cas was one. Though during that conversation my memory is foggy from being tired I think xD

That's been happening a lot lately. I should probably sleep at a decent hour xD

PSHH, sleep is for the weak

Just start baking things at outrageous hours to seal the deal like I did tonight
He hasn't jumped off the tower yet.

He turned, took a running start, and jumped. "This is gonna hurt!" He yelled.

Oh shoot I forgot, since our tactician isn't actually in the guild yet he's not on the front of the OOC, but it's @souleaterfan320's character I believe
