Current I always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question. - Harun Yahya

Bio

Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

Nice!
Low-medium please! Thank you for asking!

I plan forv players to get more powerful ad things progress.

If they come through the rift we can always say that the rift has weakened them from their original strength.

Hope that makes sense! Feel free to let me know your thoughts I'm happy to help!

Torn Across the Rift

This game is a muti-genre, mystery, action, adventure, awesome story!

The story begins with a hole in the universe. There is a Rift, and through it appear a number of beings from other worlds and other times.

They have all appeared together on present day earth.

No one remembers how they got there or why this has happened to them.

Solving the mystery of the Rift is the main plot-drive.

You may play an 'other-worlder' or an earthling. You might be an innocent bystander, you might be an investigator, you might be something else...

The idea is to give players the freedom of character creation! With a diverse group the story becomes unpredictable, but the disparate elements are united by the common goal: What is the Rift and why has this happened to us?

There are three categories of characters
1. Other Worlders a.k.a someone who came through the Rift.
2. Earthlings that are part of a paranormal investigation task-force.
3. Earthlings that are seemingly normal and have no apparent reason to be involved.

A few ground rules:
1. Original characters only please. You may be from a non-original world from a movie/book/comic/game/etc but the character must be original thank you.
2. One character per one player please and thank you.
3. Have fun!

Let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions!
Taddaaa made a post!

Caelum walked in with the main group of students. She was wearing the same long black robe as everyone else.

The robes bothered her. She had never worn a uniform for school before now. She enjoyed dressing with her own sense of fashion and individuality. She enjoyed looking at how other people chose to dress and express themselves as well. She was an artist at heart. Here at Hogwarts it seemed they wanted everyone to look the same. It was not like a normal school uniform either. It was a robe. The layers of loose black cloth consumed the student, it obscured their bodies.

They still had their faces. In the darkness of the dungeon it seemed like a sea of floating heads.

Caelum had put on pale golden eyeshadow and a sweep of mascara. It was a subtle look inspired by her new house colors. She wasn't sure if makeup was allowed or not. She followed the adage "Ask for forgiveness rather than permission." She was already assigned to a detention and she doubted makeup would earn her a more severe punishment than that. She put some effort into her hair as well, twisting it along the sides before gathering it together into a loose bun.

The dungeon frightened her. The narrow stairwells and halls seemed to press in around her. If she had not traveled with the group she might not have gotten to class on time. In the dungeon classroom she began to feel at ease. The room was very big and open and sunlight streamed in from somewhere high above.

High... high above... She tried not to dwell on that fact.

She noticed a group of Ravenclaw lead by an upperclassman. 'That is nice of him' she thought. One of the other first years (Caelum remembered that her name was Dani and she was sorted into Ravenclaw) carried a small chalk board with her. Caelum worried for a moment if she was supposed to have one as well. She did not want to be unprepared for class.

She began to find a seat far from the teachers chalkboard. She was a quiet student and preferred to sit in the back where she could observe everyone... or daydream.

She spotted Nolan and gave him a small wave.
Dustin watched as a man looted the bodies. It was a wonder to her how eager men were to take from the dead. For Dustin, this feeling was one of superstition rather than morality. It was nothing but bad luck that such men stuffed their pockets with. Dustin was eager to wash her hands, she didn't take anything from the men, but bad luck was sticky all the same.

She was about to do just that, turn and walk on home. But the barkeep spoke up. "Don't leave 'em to rot out in front of my place! No one will come back once they start stinking. Take 'em over to the morgue, boy." That man vanished back into the Saloon. Oddly enough a new customer strolled in. Another stranger.

Solomon had its fair share of travelers, but this seemed like to many new folk all at once. It was bad luck. The more there were the more bad luck they brought with them.

She could at least get rid of these. So she grabbed one of the dead by his boots and began to walk toward the morgue. It was not far, being a one road town had its advantages. The body dragged behind her. A hungry crow landed on the dead mans chest. It began to pick at the wound on his neck.
