Is Haru from a Japanese farm? I just ask because it just sounds like some of her likes (rodeo, country music) seem more in line with a Western oriented character. I don't believe myself to be some kind of expert on Japanese hobbies or music, but I don't know if rodeo is really a thing there. It could be, for all I know, I just want to have a better grasp of the character is all. A girl from the Japanese country from, say, a farm producing rice and pork and beef and the like could certainly find a home, I'd imagine. '
I'll take another look when I'm not working on having been awake for 27 hours straight.

Reiko remained in the classroom, taking a final deep breath before opting to change there in the place where she had just finished learning about subject-verb agreement in the English language. She wasn't the only one changing here, and though she'd never admit to it, her eyes did wander a small amount, quickly returning to looking at nothing in particular when her eyes glanced upon the pink haired girl who had asked for a pencil before class started. Fortunately, Reiko had her face staring into her bag, or else it would be plainly obvious that there was a slight blush on her normally pale cheeks.
It was just an...accidental glance, and besides, it wasn't as if she was staring, leering or anything perverted like that. No harm, no foul. Just an ordinary, perfectly healthy accidental peek.
No matter her mental process, Reiko began the procedure of changing into her gym uniform. The shirt was a bit larger than her size, but it was the only one they had when she bought it. While she wasn't as, say, gifted as some of the other girls in the class, the larger, bulkier shirt did nothing to help show off her assets. She wasn't an ironing board, but that's precisely what it looked like thanks to her shirt. Reiko followed some other classmates out of the classroom and down to the field, where she saw students warming up, and what looked like the 2C class representative about to embark on clear violation of personal space.
As Reiko stepped onto the athletic fields, she knew that she was the odd one out. As far as she could tell, she was the only one, except for the object of Nadeshiko-san's current fancy, who wasn't in proper uniform. Yes, she had the shirt, that baggy, oversized shirt. But instead of red bloomers, Reiko was wearing a pair of red shorts that came to a stop just below her knees. The choice to wear shorts instead of bloomers caused a problem with the gym staff last year, but Reiko refused to buckle and eventually the staff just let it slide. Shorts were better for these kinds of things, running, jumping, not wanting to put your legs and hips on display - not as if Reiko was particularly proud of her legs or hips, but that was beside the point.
And so, ignoring most of the others, Reiko found a vacant spot on the field and began stretching, waiting for the class to start in full, though her eyes were constantly observing what she could see around her.

I'm interested in this. I think I was in one of these on the old site that I, due to serious family emergencies, had to drop out of. I played a prostitute. So I'm in for this one fully.
Nadeshiko is totally going to be the reason why next year there's an added rule about physical contact and/or potential harassment. >.>
