I was just about to ask if we were allowed to play humans but then I did this thing called reading all the way to the end and now I don't have a question only a realization that this is outside of my usual wheelhouse but it's because of that that I'm willing to give it a go and now this sentence is a run on but I don't even care.

Appearance
Jamie won't be winning any 'Tallest Person in Ambrosia' contests, if indeed such a thing even existed; she stands at a crisp height of five-foot-two, though that can get pushed to three if she tries hard enough. She's possessed of a lissome build, yet her arms are visibly taut with their musculature. Her hair, always unkempt and only sometimes greasy, is a messy, dark black color kept short and away from the eyes at all times. Said eyes have a yellow tint to them, though not as the result of some mutation or anything of the sort, it's just a genetic happenstance. Matching the color of her hair, her eyebrows have grown a bit bushy due to lack of caring about nonissues such as, well, grooming.

Jamie is rarely seen without her brown vest, the pockets of which contain all manner of goodies and knickknacks for the discerning individual. Beneath her vest is a black shirt, ripped and torn now having seen constant use, the sleeves have been forcibly removed, long since ripped off. Her left arm contains scars, healed as best as they could be under the circumstances, with the most noticeable cut being one from her shoulder down to the elbow. Her right arm is covered by a long glove-sleeve, black in color, that ends just below the shoulder. The least worn bit of her attire are her pants, dark green and with pockets and pouches around the waist; they're a bit baggy on her, but she used to think she'd grow into them.

Biography
Jamie wasn't always known as the Junkman, for the longest time people in Ambrosia knew her as various synonyms for 'kid' and none of them were meant in an affectionate or endearing sort of way. For lack of a better term, Jamie was an annoying youth, constantly bugging other citizens and refuges just trying to make their own sort of life in their new surroundings. She never longed to know what was beyond Ambrosia, she really just wanted someone to play with. But when the fear of beasts and unknown forces always lingering, playmates were difficult to come by. Due to this, Jamie took to making her own sun, pretending that she was going on adventures around Ambrosia, letting her imagination serve as her closest companion. Her little adventure is what led to her rummaging through old trash piles and finding her first treasures. Because one man's trash...

The first and her dearest treasure was an old, worn atlas. Useless now with the way the world had changed, but for the first time Jamie had began to wonder what things looked like outside the only walls she had ever known. The second treasure was an old, rather useless device that had been used for recreation in the form of music. The main part had long since been scrapped so Jamie kept the earphones, washing them and wearing them as an accessory on the off chance that one day she'd find a working device.

Jamie's imagination now took the form of her wondering what things could be like outside of Ambrosia and for the first time she started focusing less on running around and playing and more about her goals and desires in the world. Her digging through junk eventually got her her first bit of pocket change after selling some object that could be flipped for scrap. As Jamie grew older, she started doing whatever she could to tag along on caravans, though rarely was she allowed to do so given her relative lack of defense training. So naturally Jamie did things her own way.

She dug through enough junk in and around Ambrosia to flip for profits in order to fund herself a vehicle, though she had to come under the employ of The Brave Frontier at first. She started doing deliveries to other settlements, Alberta Station being a particular favorite haunt of hers, and became known for three things. One, the speed in which she drove people to their destinations...in that she was always the last car to arrive. Two, her constant need to stop and add to the maps that had been drawn up in order to create a more accurate map. And three, her frequent rummaging through wrecks and ruins and junk, which is where the nickname of Junkman Jamie came from.

Jamie has since left the employ of The Brave Frontier but still takes people to outlying settlements. Her desire, however, is to go beyond what she knows, beyond the Greater Ambrosia area...and to map as much of it as she can. Her very first treasure remains on the dash of her vehicle, a constant reminder of what took her down this path.

-Given her experience as either a glorified taxi or a respected caravan chauffeur, driving is high on her relatively short list of viable skills.

• Old World Geography
• New World Geography

-Studying the atlas of old has given her insight as to how things looked before, and even some once known landmarks that dotted the land. Her knowledge of newer geography comes from her various trips to other settlements and studying of newer maps. SHe's always looking to expand her information regarding this.

• Automotive Maintenance

-She knows enough about her own vehicle to change its tires and to replace the lightning crystal that powers the battery. Anything beyond that and she's utterly hopeless.

• Scrapping/Salvaging

-Having been a junk trader in her formative years, Jamie is versed in the salvage culture, realizing when a piece of old world tech is worth something or just a piece of actual trash.

Though not at all a great shot, Jamie keeps a pistol on hand because it would be insane to go out unarmed. Mostly used as a way to keep people she drives from doing anything stupid, the pistol - named Navigator by Jamie - has been modified to be paired with a lightning crystal which makes the gun less a lethal option and more a very fast, quite intimidating taser.

Equipment and Gear

The Junk Jet

Jamie's personal vehicle from which she embarks on jobs or daytrips. Its battery is powered by lightning crystals and without those it's little more than an immobile shelter...temporarily, anyway. Originally seating five, or a very snug six, Jamie has since had some modifications put in to make it a more appealing and survivable means of transport.



It still seats six though the open back allows for others to ride along though it's typically used for cargo transport. The Junk Jet, again named by Jamie, is not the fastest vehicle, in fact it's not at all the thing you want if you're in need of a quick getaway, but it's sturdy and reliable. Several people have tried to get her to add a crystal to boost speed, but Jamie has declined, happy with what she's got. It suits her needs perfectly.
