Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

So...

Is it canon that the Red Shorts nickname isn't because the shorts are actually red but because people (as in two characters) think it's because Reiko is having...that time of the month?

Awww, Noriaki misses Hanami too? :3

She misses Hanami less than the Main Three, but yes.

Bc Noriaki is silly. >.>

As you'll soon find out from my post, Noriaki can be downright chivalrous!

She DIDN'T take advantage of the situation! How's that! Bet everyone is gonna change their opinion of Noriaki now!
Noriaki's hand continued to rest on the woman's thigh, even as the woman regained consciousness for a brief moment. And that moment was all it took for Noriaki to remove her hand with authority, silently cursing herself for giving into such morally dark and questionable temptations. But then the sighed phrase, the sighed word from the woman caused Noriaki to widen her eyes, to lightly shake the woman as if needing confirmation that she had heard what she thought she had heard. Noriaki placed her hands on the woman's shoulders, first slightly lifting her back, cradling it against Noriaki's knees. She shook the woman lightly. No response.

"I must be dreaming...or this really is some kind of divine being...she called me...no...impossible. Had to have misheard...is this...can this be what is known as fate? Lamenting my loss, deeply missing the voluptuous, the short-tempered, and the demon slayer, as well as the shrine maiden and the...the others...and here before me falls one just as beautiful as the others...who, even in her weakened state shows a clear eye. This must be fate!"

Noriaki moved her hands down, cradling her arms under the woman's thighs and, with an audible grunt, lifted, getting to her feet while holding the girl in her arms. A village child came running over with a wet cloth, which was applied to the woman's forehead. The woman was made heavier by the armor she wore, and it showed in the expression on Noriaki's face, But she was determined, she would shoulder this burden and she would play nurse to this instrument of fate.

She carried the woman to the room Noriaki had rented out for the night and set her down on the flat mattress. "I...I do not know if I should remove the armor, as much as I would love to see this angel in her natural garment, it..it wouldn't be proper...would it? Oh, such quandaries. Why do you have to be unconscious? The women I bring back to my room are all of sound mind and body and cannot wait to disrobe...but you...you cannot rightly give consent...but...you might be wounded..."

Noriaki decided to simply let the woman rest. She would most likely come to regret it, not removing the armor, not stealing a glance...but even she had her limits, and unconscious women were one of them. So instead she sat in the corner of the room, watching the woman for any response.
In the days that followed, Sarah practically lived at the hospital, arriving when visiting hours started and only leaving when the nurses came in and demanded her to leave night after night. The only times she left Charlie's side was to get a drink, get a snack, or sneak away for a smoke break. She was never gone long, she didn't want him to start thinking she had abandoned him. He needed her now, and she, well, it was the least she could do given the circumstances and their history. But now came the question of the hour.

Where would Charlie stay?

He couldn't stay at Sarah's place, not with her room mates and her frequent use of illegal substances, the place constantly had a smoke cloud over it and smelled like an ashtray. No place for someone like Charlie. It seemed the best place would be Charlie's home. Sarah's old home. It was familiar to him, and familiar was good. Sarah hadn't heard yet the identity of the driver of the car, but she naturally made an assumption, and the assumption was that she figured there wouldn't be anyone to oppose her returning to the old home she was run out of.

Sarah was pushing Charlie via wheelchair out of the hospital doors and out into the sunlit sky. Cradled under her arms were folders containing information regarding the medical treatment, doctor's reports, and instructions on how to care for him.

"Okay, Charlie, you ready to go home?" Sarah asked, stopping as she waited for a handicap accessible hospital van to pull around to the front. "Rah-Rah's gonna be looking after you for a while, alright? We're gonna go home and it'll be like it was."

She gave Charlie a little nod from behind the chair, not like he could see, and as she waited for the van and the staff - why are these people always so late-, the only thing she thought was how badly she wanted a cigarette.

She is very pretty vuv

Hehe :3 Oh you give Noriaki an inch and she wants to take a yard.
The joy was evident in Anna's eyes, if it wasn't already from the delighted, happy smile on her face. She knew Elsa would love it, just knew, Anna had been given snow globes from Elsa over the years, it only seemed fitting, seemed right, that this year Anna was the one to give the gift of a snow globe. And hopefully it would always remind Elsa of their past, before the door separated the two of them. Anna shook her head. Now was not the time to dwell on the past, but instead to look towards the future.

Feeling the smile from Elsa wasn't enough, Anna took matters into her own hands and wrapped her arms around Elsa's back, pulling her sister into a hug, mindful of the snow globe so as not to have Elsa drop it in shock. If Elsa wasn't going to give Anna a hug from the gift, so be it; Anna would do the honors. "Happy birthday, Elsa. You...you deserve to have one," Anna said while pulling back from the hug.

It felt good, being close again, though for how long it would last, Anna couldn't say or even speculate. For now, she was just glad they were back on speaking terms. "You...you probably have to get back to the whole...press thing, right?" Anna asked, shrugging her shoulders. She didn't necessarily want Elsa to leave, but she was here for more than just a party, after all. It would be rude of Anna to hog all of Elsa's time.
Oh dear, Ariiko called Noriaki beautiful. This is going to do wonders for Noriaki's esteem.
Reiko mad
Reiko remained silent following Aino-san's clearly rhetorical question. Really now, what kind of question was that? 'Why would you think otherwise?' Wasn't it obvious? The way girls gossip spreads faster than wildfire. Sure, she may have intended to keep the promise, but for how long? A day? A week? Maybe even a whole month? But eventually all the secrets come out, and Aino would be no different. Best to get on top of the eventual blabbermouth and practice denying everything now. Maybe some would even believe her. And maybe this school year would have very few incidents.

Doubtful, of course.

When Aino left, or rather, when Aino was dragged out, Reiko made no motion or gesture indicating her concern or care. She was, at least, partially - very partially - disappointed that the backrub went away as well, but that disappointment faded away quickly. Reiko gave a slight grunt as Junko began enjoying the curry that used to belong to Reiko. She was all set to just drink the rest of her milk and put her head down until the school day ended, but two things happened. First, the thickly accented clearly foreign student sauntered in, looking a mess and being far too excited.

"What are you even saying?" Reiko asked, her voice soft but as full of ill will as any other. "Please don't talk to me, I can barely understand you." Reiko thought that would be the end of it, and she shifted in her seat to put her head down.

And that's when another student, this one calling Reiko a strange name, entered the picture.

"My head is FINE," Reiko raised her voice, now quite annoyed that multiple people have asked her, "Thanks for asking me BACK WHEN IT HAPPENED. Oh, wait, NO ONE DID."

Reiko stood from her chair, grabbed her milk, and stomped out of the classroom, having had enough of this annoying charade.

"AND MY NAME'S NOT RED SHORTS." She said before sliding the door shut with authority.
