Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

I thought she likes being a hunter

She does.

She's on the hunt now.

She's just not used to playing the prey to snag the prize, if you get the meaning.

Looks like somebody got their eyes on Noriaki. :3

Yes. I honestly didn't think this would happen, Noriaki becoming the prey instead of the hunter.

I approve.
Sorry it's blah, but the school day is over. Go nuts. If you guys were actually serious about everyone (well...not EVERYONE) meeting up in the dorm baths, that'll be the end goal before bed, and then I'll jump us ahead to either the third day or the end of the first week.
Reiko, in her anger and annoyance, sat the rest of lunch in the grounds, finding an unclaimed bench in the quad and claiming it as her own. Her mood was soured, first by Aino-san's incessant prodding, then by more people faking their concern for her injuries. They didn't care. None of them did. The fact that they had to open with that instead of a typical greeting meant they weren't interested. Bunch of people just feigning concern so as to come off as 'nice' or 'friendly'. Not this time. Reiko wasn't fooled. And, if all that wasn't bad enough, she had given her curry to Kuriyama. That was her curry, the one highlight in an otherwise terrible first day.

And to think, the drama club wasn't even having their first meeting today. Reiko had nothing else to look forward to.

The bell rang signaling the end of lunch. Students had five minutes to return to the school building. Reiko grumbled, walking back into the school with her head down. She re-entered 2-C ignoring everyone, and took her seat. The afternoon classes, the final two of the day, went by in a haze, and before she knew it, she was rising along with the others and giving the sensei a bow. The first day of lessons was over, mercifully.

But the question now was, what should Reiko do with her time. She was tempted to just return to the dorms, do her homework, and sleep. Reiko headed for the door, bag in hand, ignoring the complaints of the students cleaning the room. She wasn't going to help. She was too upset.
I don't set sexuality in stone unless it's part of the character sheet. I just RP and see what happens, especially when it comes to romance or things of the sort.
Noriaki is not familiar with this. Ariiko is doing all the pro Noriaki strats. :O
For a brief moment, Noriaki was hurt - emotionally as the woman, Ariiko Hideniyo, made it clear that the two of them would likely not be on a name-to-name basis. That hurt was gone when the nickname, the appropriate and quite adorable nickname. Noriaki would have to deal with it; usually it was she who gave people nicknames - but in her case it was less a sign of genuine affection and more an excuse not to remember the names of the one-off village and city maidens she enjoyed. But now the issue switched from names to Ariiko fleeing. Noriaki was frozen, here was a woman freshly tended and in recovery, who was pulling the same tricks Noriaki pulled on one night stands. The tables had been turned, and so effortlessly. She was in disbelief, and the only thought going through her head was simple. She didn't want Ariiko to leave, for she felt the two would never meet again. After all, for the past few hours, Ariiko had been a muse, and that was something you held onto. Until the next one came along.

Noriaki opened her mouth to call out to Ariiko, to tell her to wait...but no word escaped. But perhaps Ariiko felt it, for the woman stopped and turned. She took notice of Ariiko's eyes, Were they always that shade? Admittedly Noriaki couldn't really get a good look at them, they were closed...and her gaze was constantly focused elsewhere...but she hadn't noticed the color, the way it looked like the sun on fire in the dawn horizon. So focused on the eyes, Noriaki made no sudden movements as Ariiko pushed her against the wall. And no movements were made as a kiss was shared, save for Noriaki placing her hands on the back of her red-eyed muse. Time stopped for that moment, the two of them sharing a kiss, and as Noriaki broke the hold on their lips, there was a faint blush on her cheeks. Truly, the tables had been turned. And Noriaki didn't mind.

"You don't have to leave, my muse, my beautiful rose. You can stay. With me, here, in this room. Stay, and gaze into the Starlight as I will look longingly into the Dawnrise that is your red gaze. It is not often one succeeds in surprising me, but you have been a most welcome surprise. Allow me to return the favor to you, by giving you a surprise as well as a memory you will not soon forget."

The woman dubbed Starlight grinned towards Ariiko, glad, at least, to have another moment.

Crackers and water can do wonders to a human body. ^.^

Well I hadn't eaten anything in over a day and a half and crackers were readily available
Hrm, disregard that, I'm feeling better.

I ate some crackers and had some more water.

Ummm... lol. x]Good for you, Noriaki? :3

This really is Noriaki's lucky day/days! You all have to deal with spirits or whatever. Noriaki gets to deal with cute ladies.
