Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

I'll put the fade to black on if you want Fabri so we can move forward.

Faded it is
Saw a help wanted ad in the interest check forum. If this is still happening, I'll have a Wheel character up after work.
I think it's now safe to say that there is a fade to black in regards to Noriaki and Ariiko.
Hello~~~~~~?
I'll post today after work
News traveled fast, it seemed, though with an accident as severe as the one CHarlie had been through, it wasn't terribly surprising that it had been all over the papers, maybe even the nightly news. Sarah had honestly expected there to be some kind of press involved, but was glad there wasn't. Charlie had already had enough excitement, he didn't need the vultures of the media misrepresenting him and his condition. Still, she wasn't quite sold on the man and his daughter, though the fact that he knew Charlie's name was at least a potential hint that he was telling the truth. Sarah was wary, on guard, but listening more closely than she was prior.

Emily, upon seeing the offered bear from Charlie, accepted it, holding it in both of her hands and placing it in a small hug against her chest. Sarah, who had watched the display after Charlie's words, sighed. She hadn't fully trusted the two, but Charlie only let people he liked hold his bear. So it was for his sake that she responded to the man.

"Alright, fine. A ride home, and you're paying for the lunch. But I'm only agreeing to this because Charlie seems to know you, seems to think your daughter is trustworthy. And don't start asking weird personal questions, alright? You're doing us a favor, let's leave it at that."

Emily, oblivious to the negative tone directed at her father, simply smiled towards Charlie and held the bear back to him.
I'll post today after work!
The first thing Noriaki noticed was Ariiko's eyes. They were not as clearly red as they were upon the two of them sharing their first kiss. It gave Noriaki but a moment's pause. Perhaps, in her excited state she had simply confused the color, had assumed the brown to be more red in color, it was as good an explanation as she needed, and it wasn't as if she was going to ask now. For one thing, it didn't matter - not at this moment, and for another, asking such a question would simply spoil the mood. And if there was one thing Noriaki was good at, it was taking advantage of the mood of any given room that featured her and another partner in it.

Noriaki slowly pointed her head to the pair of swords resting against the corner, showing Ariiko in a simple gesture the seriousness of her earlier claims. Finally, an ounce of respect, of admiration, of acknowledgement, it was more than she had gotten previously, and she could think of worse things than travelling with this woman, fighting together as needed; the princess and her actual duty as royal guardian was furthest from her mind at this point. They were probably dead by now, or Noriaki was dead to them as they were no doubt well on their way to their goal. Things would work out for the best.

With Ariiko's hands locked with hers, Noriaki took the bold route, closing the gap between their lips and enveloping them in yet another kiss, this one full of Noriaki's passion. Noriaki was the one to break the kiss, with slight trepidation. She gazed into Ariiko's eyes, taking in her visage. "I wish you to stay, Ariiko." No extra words. No flowery prose. No poetic response.

Noriaki had spoken true.
