Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

I love how everyone's being fluffy in love and love drama etc and Ariikos just

I know that feeling. Noriaki is just hanging out on a bench, looking up towards the sky.
Oh, the IC is up! I'm still here, by the way, I've just been casually reading the OOC all this time.
Reiko wasn't the only one who was shocked to be playing the lead role, the third year membres of the drama club all had choice words to say to Kawase-senpai when she dropped the news. Reiko, for once, agreed with them. The lead role should go to the older students, or at least the best fit for the role after auditions, it shouldn't just be decided without any outside input. But Kawase deflected all criticism. She was the club leader, the club president, and her casting decisions were final. Reiko's relationship with the club was already strained, she didn't need more reason for them to dislike her, and this one wasn't even her fault.

Reiko sat in the front of the drama room, her eyes reading over the script. It was a short play, just two characters, and Reiko, for whatever reason, was cast as the male, a married man who has a chance, life-changing encounter with a woman on a train. Kawase was currently asking the members for a volunteer to play the leading lady, the opposite to Reiko's character. A long haired club member raised her hand after no one else volunteered.

"Yazawa-san," Kawase nodded, handing the girl a script. "Thank you."

"Kawase-senpai," Reiko spoke, her voice slightly shaky, audible, but soft. "Page...page 16...the two...they kiss." Reiko went slightly red at this, causing several titters and chuckles from the other members.

"Yes, they do. I read the script. I picked you for a reason, Ko-Ko. We'll put you in a nice suit and you'll look like a guy. But I also think it'll be hilarious watching you get embarrassed while trying to kiss Yazawa-san."

"What, you don't wanna kiss me, Reiko-chan?" Yazawa chimed in, teasing, pinching Reiko's cheeks with a mischievous smile.

"I just think that...auditions might be better..." Reiko responded, the defeat already clear in her voice.

"Ko-Ko, we don't need to do auditions. It's two characters. It's a fifteen minute play, it's for the recruitment fest. You get on stage, you pretend you're a married man, you interact with Yazwa, you kiss, you bow, and you don't screw it up so we get new members, alright? I actually think you'd be good for the role, you're the only one who can realistically play a male without excess costuming and makeup. Think of it this way, Ko-Ko, if you impress me, if you impress us, it'll look good for auditions for our serious performances." Kawase spoke with unusual honesty, a hint of sincerity to her tone.

"Okay...okay." Reiko sighed. The drama club each took seats, Kawase taking a seat near the two visitors, neither of whom were noticed by Reiko, who was walking to the center of the room, script in hand.

"Okay, this is just a read through, but remember the stage directions. Action!" Kawase shouted, giving a wink towards the two visitors, one of whom she recognized from Ko-Ko's class.

Reiko read through the script alongside Yazawa, Reiko getting more into it than Yazawa. While Yazawa was content to just read and do the stage directions, Reiko was treating it as an actual performance, gesturing with her hands, using her deep, masculine voice, getting into the performance even at the early stage. "I thought you must be waiting for your boyfriend," Reiko performed, her voice deep, but still having the femininity to it, "Perhaps you didn't see as much of him as you'd like to. He would be your world and you could imagine settling down with him. I imagined him walking around the corner at the station and you running into his arms. The way things should be." Reiko took a pause, dropping her head. "It's nice to be missed." Reiko spoke the line with depression, with disappointment, as if the line held personal meaning to her. "You'd look with devotion in his eyes as he passionately puts his hand on your face," Reiko placed her hand on Yazawa's face like one would on a lover, "And kisses your tender lips." Reiko closed her eyes and leaned in, kissing Yazawa, who had her eyes open.

As the two pulled away, Reiko was red with embarrassment, which only increased as the drama club offered their applause. The play wasn't finished, but Kawase called for a cut. Reiko stood in the center, her eyes pointed towards the floor. That didn't count, right? It was just part of the play, it wasn't real. Reiko sighed, and waited for the applause to die down.
You'll find out what play it is tomorrow.

Here's a hint:

It's not a famous one. It's a one act one.
Any music concerts must be done in the style of Linda Linda Linda.

NO EXCEPTIONS!

Mmmm, maybe probably during music club bc I don't know if they are gonna have to actually play outside of the club lol. Aside from the recruitment fair if Fabri says we are having one.

Sure, there can be a recruitment fair. I mean, there's gonna be a cultural festival once we get there, so why not a recruitment fair.
I'll get my sheet up tonight, or tomorrow at the latest
So I got Dark Souls 2 and made Noriaki since one of the classes is a dual wielding sword swinging class.

In true Noriaki fashion she met up with an enemy, ran away, and fell down a cliff and died.

The price you pay for cowardice.

But to be fair, it was a big monster.
