I think stuff like this is both good and bad. It's good because I welcome an open forum for discussions and issues such as this. It's bad because, well, it can lead to people dropping and extended arguments. I totally see Raineh's point, and were I in her shoes I'd probably do the same thing. I know I hate being ignored in RP, but to be ignored both IC and OOC is practically criminal. So again, Raineh, for what it's worth, I apologize for ignoring you in OOC. Mea culpa. Too little, too late, but I felt like saying something.

I've been somewhat lax about pretty much everything, but going forward I'm going to be sure to listen to issues as they crop up instead of just being all jokey/jovial about it, like when I replied to Raineh about Kotone with "Because of the drama!" when she asked why Kotone would go to drama club.. I'm not asking you all to cut out the OOCRP, but when there's stuff being brought up in OOC it shouldn't be ignored. Granted, a large part of that is my fault because of my general lax attitude.

There's nothing less fun in a group RP than insular groups springing up.

I treat all complaints seriously. There's no petty complaint. Well, almost no petty complaint. A complaint is almost always stemming from an area that could do with improvement or worth looking into.

I don't see it that way, but that's me. I take it personally, that a lack of interaction with others and the isolation it causes is because of my doing, that as a GM I should've done more - or anything to encourage more active participation with those who were always going off by themselves. I don't like it in any RP where characters get left out, so I feel more responsible here for letting that happen.

I realize apologies aren't going to fix things, but I've always been upfront with my thoughts on issues, so I am with this as well.

Honestly this whole thing, this issue rather, is kind of exactly what I feared would happen way back when when it was brought up that there was love at first sight/auto pairing happening.

Just on a larger scale.

I honestly should've taken steps to avoid this, so I'm sorry I didn't, and I'm sorry it caused someone to drop because of it.

But hindsight is just that.
