Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

Well this isn't what I expected to see right before heading out for a girls night

...Well if saying I find something really disturbing (futanari actually makes me feel very ill even thinking about it) is "ganging up" then fuck it. Dropping out, I guess. Can't be bothered putting up with your passive aggressive bullshit anymore.Honestly have no idea why you don't see the problem of , but I give up. Sorry. Also intersex exists and I have no problem with it. Just it doesn't work like that at all, so playing the "but it's totally real!" card in defence is just bullshit.

Please don't drop out, Rin. Obviously I can't force you to stay, but I'd really like it if you stayed. We all love you!

Okay, now to the elephant in the room.

So I don't know what the original problem was, but I can infer based on the responses following the posting of the character.

Lol sorry, I wanted to create a unique character with an emotional back story. I shall edit it to something less extreme.

There's a fine line here. I welcome unique characters. Unique is good. But if someone is unique because of a physical reason, I'm less inclined to get invested. It's far too easy for people to have a physical reason (be it handicap, obvious scar, genitalia, etc) be the defining point of their character rather than just having the trait be a part of their character. One can be unique and emotional without resorting to something 'extreme'. Had I been here when this whole thing started, I would have asked you to change that, not because I'm intolerant (far from it), but because it wouldn't fit in the overall theme/point of the RP.

I was thinking people fine with yuri would be more open to other things, but oh well. But I didn't see that part of the sheet so cannot say how it was handled.

It's honestly kind of shocking how fast you pounced and judged and were unneased by the gender of a FICTIONAL character. The character wasn't even real and you all jumped on it like it were some kind of freaky monster. I would hate to find out how you reacted if it were a REAL human being. Because it is a REAL genetic disorder affecting REAL people.

I don't think this is fair. It seems like less an issue of them being intolerant/freaked by genetic disorder and more of them not wanting a futanari in the RP. I don't have the full context here, but I'm working off of context clues. I think it's safe to say that none of us here have a problem with intersex people.

Passive-aggressiveness is way better than active-aggressiveness :P

I know this is a joke, but no. Oh my god passive aggressive is the worst shit.

...I'm disturbed by a completely fictional condition, not the real thing that's nothing like it.Saying I'm intolerant because of that would be like accusing someone of being racist against elves. : |

No one would blame you for that. Elves are the worst.

Sorry. Trying to add levity.

The original description was nothing like the real life condition, it was much more like a certain fetish which makes multiple people here including myself uncomfortable.No-one here is being intolerant of anything that actually exists in real life. And if no-one says they feel uncomfortable, how will the GM know they do?There's no reason for anyone to be calling people out for being intolerant of real-life conditions.

While I'm not personally uncomfortable with said fetish (though I'll never actively seek it out or watch/read it), the last sentence here is true. No one here's intolerant (except towards elves).

@Fabricant: Sorry my character brought so much drama to your thread. If you noticed I have already deleted all the upsetting information.

I have no choice but to accept the apology (though I likely would've done so even with the full information, I'm nice like that). Let's all try to get along here. Let's not be passive-aggressive towards people. Let's not start calling people intolerant.

Here's the thing. No one's anti-intersex irl. Or at least I hope not, and if you are, I'm not one to judge. I might not agree with you, but I have friends who don't agree with some of the things I do, and we get along in spite of that. And I'm sure you had nothing but good intentions, Tigre. But this RP really isn't the best place for a hermaphroditic character. This RP is more meant to just be an easy-going daily life thing revolving around the world of girls' love. Nothing super heavy, apart from the petting.

If this makes me sound intolerant, so be it, but this RP has a staunch 'no dicks' clause. That goes for attitudes and for what's between the legs.

So romantical. Even more romantical than Noriaki and Ariiko *-*

Lies. Have you forgotten that Noriiko is the OTP
You should be fine starting from my post on page 15, that's what kicked off where we are at now. We're just doing after school activities, clubs and stuff.
Down with heroes :x

Too bad Noriaki didn't see Hanami macking on Ariiko. :p

She was too busy reading old letters.
Behind the mask, The Countess rolled her eyes. Another worthless hero spouting off bland one liners. She didn't know who started the practice of turning an insulting phrase into a one liner or pre-battle taunt, but she hated them for it. Every hero did it. It must have been mandatory. Though she hated such lines and bravado, the reason she was rolling her eyes wasn't because of the scantily clad hero wannabe's line, it was because the scantily clad hero wannabe was just that. A hero wannabe. Another lamb come willingly to the slaughter. This was getting tiresome. The money was right in front of her, and this woman just had to get her fifteen minutes. With a sigh, The Countess turned her body towards the newcomer, ready to bring a quick end to the annoying conflict.

And then the woman vanished. Completely.

That caught The Countess off guard. Invisibility? How had she not heard of this before? Her suit wasn't geared for that. Of course, not installing infrared into her viewscreen would come back to bite her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the attack coming, turning towards it to brace herself. The Countess put her hands up, the blue engine gear spinning into action again. It was too late. The attack landed and The Countess was sent backwards, tumbling out of the bank and onto the street outside. She hit the ground, harder than she would've liked, but she got to her feet.

"So that's your game, then? Hide and seek? A child's game for a childish person. Hiding. Like a coward. All you insipid do-gooders are cowards. Instead of making a difference in the world, you instead seek fame. Fortune. Glory. Give it up. Run away and hide. You're just going to end up like all the others." The Countess spoke, all the while the engine on her back powered up. She jabbed both of her arms forward, the blue magnetic beam latching onto the circular door to the vault. With a strong yank, The Countess removed the door from the vault. She began to spin the circular door around like a lasso, like a sling, like a discus. But instead of throwing it, she continued to spin it, spinning it around in a circle, altering the heights, with the goal of making contact. Just because the woman was invisible didn't mean she was invulnerable. Once the door stopped spinning, once it made contact, she would know.
I posted. It counts.
Noriaki, in my haste to finish our lesson last night (and I do apologize for how swiftly it came to a close, I had a meeting with my fellow brothers and our lord) I forgot to mention how much you have improved, both in your stances and in your growth as a woman. You are still young, you have youth on your side, and as you undergo your unfortunate role as mistress, you must be akin to a lone flower in a wilted field. Were you not in such a position, I know you would be the prize of your village, the prize of any city, of all villages. I am almost regretting teaching you our ways, for a woman of your stature would not find happiness on the field of battle. Of course, I do not presume to know what makes you happy, Noriaki, but judging by the way you smile as I correct your hands on the hilt of the sword, the way you beam at me when I compliment your ability, perhaps your happiness can be found there, in the midst of combat. Happiness is such a rare thing among us, so it warms me to see you finding something to cling to, something to make yourself happy, to remain optimistic in spite of your circumstances. If you will permit me to offer you more advice: do what brings you happiness, and never let anything take your happiness away. If you are happy composing your poems (and your latest one was your finest work, and that is high praise - all of your poems are mesmerizing), then by all means pursue that. If you are happy following the way of the samurai, so be it. Either way, it makes me happy knowing that I am contributing to your happiness. Ours is a friendship that comes around as often as the moon blocking the sun, and just as blinding. Do you remember that, Noriaki? It is a line from one of your poems. It stuck with me. It makes me happy. - Mifune

Upon hearing her muse call her by her new moniker, Noriaki folded the letter and placed it into the pouch on her waist. Noriaki stood from her bench and turned, lifting her head to the source of the voice, her muse, Ariiko. Peering up towards her caused Noriaki to smile, the previous look of sadness in her expression gone in an instant. Noriaki waved up towards Ariiko before cupping her hands around her mouth.

"My muse, from down here you look every bit like the divine being I thought you were upon our first meeting. If you were to fall from such a height, I would catch you, or else I would use my body to cushion your fall. I would join you up there, but to do so would diminish your gift for standing tall, for ascending to heights meant for no mere mortal such as I. But as I have your attention, I thought it best to inform you that I am constructing a poem dedicated to you, to our meeting, and it would do me no greater honor than to have you read it once it is put into words. But tell me, my beloved muse, how fare you since last we spoke? Well, I hope."

Noriaki dropped her hands back to her sides, placing one on her waist. It was probably pointless to shout, or even to pantomime shouting, but Noriaki didn't mind if others heard. It was as close as she could come to shouting from the rooftops.

I don't know any songs that would fit my character like those. I honestly don't watch too many animes. so I don't know much of the music.. >.>'

Noriaki's themes were Korean hip hop. Anime does not have to be the basis for themes.
I'll respond to Aethel tomorrow.
