You showed up.
One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.
I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.
As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.
For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.
I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.
It is neither of those, however, I did intend on Indy Ploys being a part of his character since Aleph only thinks ahead in very rare cases, as you might have noticed. Otherwise, he wouldn't be in this fight XD
Aleph reserves this particular technique for foes who prove to be very difficult for him to deal with. You can say it is a Trump card of sorts, and its use means he acknowledges the strength of whom he fights. But I can almost guarantee that because of it, Aleph will be leaving the fight as the one who ends it, against the strongest rock thrower or not.
Another hint: His second blessing is usually important in using it.
Little do you realize I have been guiding you to a scenario in which I, FamishedPants, am the one to end this fight! Fwahahaha! I hope you are prepared for when I can actually write a post. Not right now though because I have things I must do, but later! Lets just say that Aleph is about to use one of his most powerful techniques.
To be entirely honestly, Aleph was very surprised that the blow had struck at all. But to be even more honest, to ascend to a higher plane of "honest", Aleph was more surprised to see that the blow had struck... somebody else? He wasn't entirely sure what just happened, to be even more honest than he was just moments prior, which was pretty fucking honest. There was not one new person in front of his blade, but two? Seriously, what was going on!?
Both Henry Ford and his aspiring underling had both decided to block the attempted slash on the female Aleph was currently fighting. Though he originally reasoned she was somebody who was angry due to an ineptitude for most things, she was actually proving to be quite threatening and she'd only done two things with her magics! So... why did she need "saving" from a blow he was sure was too weak to connect? Perhaps female demons weren't in abundance? If that was the case, then even the Demon Lord would have to protect any female he could. And... then this would be the perfect chance for an aspiring demon to make himself noticed! Yes, that must be it! The second guy had obviously taken the blow for his Demon Lord so that he could prove his loyalty or something along those lines. Quite honestly, despite it being VERY hard to do so, Aleph also tried for a more rational reasoning for them both jumping out like this.
It actually made a lot more sense when he thought like a chuuni, oddly enough.
"Even I must admire such loyalty...!" he muttered under his breath. Demons too had things they cared about? That got him to thinking: did they even have to fight? Maybe it was possible to coexist toget---
"Woah!"
Coexistence seemed like such a foolish thought when the female general he was fighting before continued, with him just barely noticing in time to avoid that which would have probably put him down for the count. This was not the most beautiful of evasions either, as he had to put a bit distance between the two of them so as not to get hit. That wasn't ideal for Aleph because it added a few more steps between the two. "I must admit, those rocks would likely do a number on even a hero like myself. You're pretty good." He confessed as he planted his sword in the ground for a moment, watching for any signs of an immediate follow-up attack. "But it'll take much more than basic spellcasts such as that to defeat me!" Aleph needed to get closer if he wanted to end the fight as the victor. His option were fairly limited here, but he had come to realize that taking it easy would result in a very bad situation for him. In truth, Aleph was probably lucky that those two demons had briefly interrupted their fight like that, there was no telling what kind of counterattack he could have suffered from this woman.
The thought finally crossed his mind to use his hilt instead of his blade for the attack. It was a bit odd to use against someone who wasn't armored like herself, but if he did not want to murder her in the event of a connecting attack, this seemed the most ideal way. Plus it looks friggin awesome. With speed fitting of a fighter who worked in close range, Aleph once more dashed towards the woman, ignoring the pathetic demons and going on the offensive again. This time, his attack consisted of a feigned frontal attack very similar to his first, but he hurriedly darted to the side at the last second and attempted to strike her in the stomach with the hilt of the blade.
See the funny thing was is I was thinking that Aleph would either become more normal or "realize" he was the villain in the end the more stacks of death he got.
She never said she was the best once. She just doesn't like being disrespected XD Also it never occurred to them she could stop the attack, didn't it?
That's true, I just wanted an excuse to reference Onii-sama.
And it does not seem like it did. I mean, I kinda did. But them? Nah. She was easy pickings and they had to save her, of course. I... am still not sure how I will respond to this.
"Lets fight because I have a superiority complex and you implied I wasn't the best. Just the best!"
"I'll save you from the blow that wouldn't kill you!"
"I'll save YOU from the blow that probably wouldn't kill her!"
Nani the fuck.
This is rather entertaining, though I am not sure how I am going to have Aleph respond. This was not something I expected to happen. It reminds me of a roleplay I was once in where I used a loli as a sword, was defeated and about to be executed when another roleplayer decided to tank the blow for me (she died in the process).
