You showed up.

One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.

I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.

As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.

For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.

I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.

Also, fuck you, Broken.

How frustrating.

Countless lives had been lost attempting to deal with those assassins, and despite a relatively good head on his shoulders, Alistair had to admit that he was surprised knowing the future meant as little as it did. Sure, they knew when and where the assassins would strike, they even knew what moves each one would start with by that point, but it was impossible to get everything down to a T, like one would in a video game or the sort. Not only did they have to repeat things every single attempt, but a fight was a lot different than a dance, and moves that became routine were bound to fail. The assassins seemed to have little difficulty adjusting to how they fought back, and unless they rehearsed this day a thousand times over, their defeat was all but assured.

Alistair Archibald did not currently have the patience for that kind of dedication, and nobody else seemed to want to continue any further. He was stubborn though and perhaps kept them on this path a bit longer than he'd intended. But nobody else offered an idea until just now, and to know he was helpless despite how much foresight they had was a blow to his pride that he did not want to admit had landed. All of that said, if one path was closed, that merely meant they would need to take another. And so he had declared he would be heading with the good Doctor Donovan to perhaps change their fate.

Donovan, the kind soul, was missing during the loops they managed to make it to his office. That did not bode well, as the implications were that he was either part of this whole incident (which Alistair vehemently denied was the case) or that he had been dealt with because of one of these assassins, something he would never forgive them for. How cruel, how idiotic! Do they really believe they will be allowed to get away with such a heinous crime? Not on Alistair's watch. He apparently had all the time he needed, what with the fact he had perished before becoming something he was desensitized to. And while the point made about their 'resets' potentially carrying some form of consequence was fair, that also did not mean they shouldn't make use of this ability for as long as they could.

It may not be the wisest decision to throw themselves into certain death at every opportunity, but what fool would not make use of a card they have been dealt?

"If you guys are going to join, then let us not waste any more time," he told the others who seemed to wish to join Donovan along with himself. "In order to open a path to a future that is bright, ideal, and lengthier than the one we've been subject to, we'll need a keen eye for details pertaining towards these bastards attacking us, as well as the situation surrounding both them and us. To that end, even if things take a turn for the worse, which I imagine they will... absorb as much information as you can. Let no death be in vain." his words given to the others, he decided to approach the good doctor, who was waiting just a short distance away.

"I'll be in your care, my good fellow. Allow me to do what I can to repay you for the save."

Hey guys this looks like a fun RP and in spite of the recent commotion I think I'll try joining it if that is okay let me know what you think!

...I died?

The young, arrogant man looked down at his hands and noticed there was nothing wrong with them. Specifically, he had begun to look at his fingers, which had become prune from the water in his bucket. He'd been working hard in the house before things went sour, but he had not been away from the water long enough for his fingers to return to normal. This was how he decided to confirm his return, although simply looking around was more than enough evidence.

Around this time, Aerith had tried to grab his attention. He glanced over at her, sighed, and simply replied in as calm a tone as he could muster that he needed a moment to himself. His hand came to his chin as he began to lose himself in his thoughts. And they were not pleasant ones.

I died... again...?

This was humiliating. How could he fall yet again! And this time, there was no visible foe with which to direct his hate. It caused him to grind his teeth, and his expression betrayed the rage lying beneath. He was not happy with this outcome at all. Who had killed him? How had they done so? Was it those candles? He recalled Fritzi had called them to attention before he passed out and presumably died from... poison? Or perhaps he was just stabbed in his sleep? He didn't know what exactly happened to him and the others, but he realized that they'd met their fate while searching for the good doc.

...But who could have set a trap for us there? How would they have ever known where the group would be?

Alistair could only assume that it had something to do with the attempted ass-- well, just the assassins that had attacked the boxer and Aerith earlier that had led them to seek out Donovan. Were there more, or did those ones somehow beat them to Donovan's and set the trap? If that were the case, they would have had to known where the group was headed, which could potentially mean that they'd been stalking the group for some time. But there were so many possibilities, and the irritation Alistair felt at being slain yet again was too great. He'd died twice now, so he was beginning to wonder when he'd get a chance to return the favor. He gave an audible sigh, then turned to find Aerith, who had desired his presence a minute earlier.

Alistair approached Aerith and the others as she reached the end of her part, but remained silent as Ashton and Flame spoke. He wasn't sure how he felt about the evidence pointing towards Doctor Donovan. That man had a shine to his smile that rivaled a star, and an aura about him that could turn even the grouchiest bear into a trusted friend. Alistair did not want to believe such a man was capable of betraying them and murdering them, especially because he could not see how the man would benefit from doing so. Rather, Alistair would hold onto the belief that Donovan may have, unfortunately, been taken care of before their arrival. And if that were the case, the arrogant young Archibald was now considering the reset a blessing of sorts.

"Listen well, all of you. I, Alistair Archibald, am usually a benevolent and tolerant man, but there are three things I simply cannot stand: People who order me around, people who insult me, and... cowards." he voiced to the small group consisting of Hiro, Aerith, Flame, and Ashton. "And these bastards that would dare attack us are exactly that. Striking when we've done nothing, and resorting to ambushing us. It's sickening. And thus, I will, of course, destroy them." he boasted, although he kept a similar level of voice as the others. Only the group would really hear him.

He glanced at Hiro and Aerith. "If you two could survive being caught blind by those idiots, then it simply means that with my assistance and the advantage of precognition, they'll pose little threat. After all, it seems obvious this phenomenon we are experiencing isn't something they are privy to, otherwise, they wouldn't have slain us. So this would provide us with the perfect opportunity to find out more information on what is going on. We'll crush them like the insects they are, and then beat the information we need out of them." he voiced his intentions. It was a rather elaborate way of saying he didn't mind repeating the circumstances leading up to the scene the assassins had caused.

There was the smallest moment he considered simply going with Donovan now. It would perhaps benefit them to learn of what fate awaited him. But a deep nagging in his heart prevented Alistair from daring to respond to it. He knew that the chance existed that Donovan was not killed last "life", and that he may have even been part of the reason why they died. Alistair did not wish to be the one to have to confirm this, it would cost too much.

"As for you two," he turned towards Ashton and Flame. "Ignoring the pointless bit about interpersonal relationships, it would seem that your group did not meet with a terrible fate. Does this mean we're all linked in some way? Not all of us need to perish? That is... strange, but then again, this entire situation is. I suppose that's important information to keep in mind." Alistair did not want to be a leader figure, though he naturally had a tendency to take charge. It was a weird contradiction he faced here, and it was made apparent to him since he'd been asked to be a leader of sorts.

That sort of thing...isn't happening.

While it was only natural for people to look up to someone like him and trust in him, the responsibility of other people was not a burden he wanted to shoulder for any extended period of time. He figured he ought to wait and see what Aerith thought. She did not appear like she was having fun, which was reasonable in this situation. Alistair was stressed too. His outlet was going to be these damned assassins. But what would be hers?

Inevitability is a word many almost seem to treat as taboo, as there aren't enough people who can simply face the fact that they aren't able to change everything. Or at the very least, they aren't able to admit it, despite knowing in their mind it is the true all the same. Of course, Alistair Archibald is not one such person. You see, for him, Inevitability was one of his favorite words. Because the young Archibald was not like all the other riff-raff that stumbled from their day-to-day interactions with no clue. No, he was so much better than that. A man who could stand above the others and laugh at the helplessness they so desperately tried to conceal.

Because for Alistair Archibald, the word "inevitability" was always a good thing. It described him, after all. The fact that he would become the best at whatever he decided to do was "inevitable". The fact that he was destined for greatness was "inevitable". But the most important inevitability was that this house was going to be clean when Alistair Archibald had finished with it.

Yes, it would have only been a matter of time...

But the word "inevitable" never did imply any sort of haste. Only that things were guaranteed.

So while Alistair Archibald was indeed a bit upset with the sudden commotion that started while he was so expertly cleaning up the house, he knew that regardless of what happened, it would inevitably get done. Still, there was yelling and whatnot. It was probably serious enough he should go check it out, especially since he was requested by name.

Attacked? We're being attacked now? How bothersome. This can't be some dumb coincidence, either.

Alistair arrived with Fritzi, to a scene he wasn't quite expecting when he chose to go help other clean. In fact, you could say he was trying to avoid it. Seeing Aerith wounded, and also taking notice of what Fritzi said about Hiro, it was only made more apparent that this was some planned attack.

Damnit, is it impossible to play it safe here?

He was more annoyed than anything. While one could not say Alistair had any strong personal attachment towards anybody here, he still felt a smaller bond towards those who came from his own world. And for people to so blatantly attack them in broad daylight, that was unforgivable. The audacity of these assholes would not go unpunished, once he was in a state he could deliver it.

Gritting his teeth in frustration, the young man kneeled next to Aerith and looked her over. Not being a doctor, Alistair had limited experience in treating wounds. But the place the knife had struck did stand out. "I certainly can't call myself a doctor, but keeping pressure on that wound is probably the best move you can do until we see someone who is," he told Aerith, standing up as Fritzi quickly ducked behind the house. "Try not to move too much, until we're ready."

Getting up, Alistair made his way towards the injured Hiro. He had been told to douse Hiro in water, but the burns looked rather severe. Again, he was not a medical professional, but something did not sound right. He could've sworn he heard that such an action was not ideal in the treatment of the individual suffering huge burns and he didn't want to be the reason this young man died if he could help it. "I think you're going to just have to suffer for a while, I'm afraid there is nothing we can do yet," he told the young man despite it appearing that he wasn't conscious.

So for now, Alistair awaited Fritzi.

"Suppose it really is No-Nut November, at least for Amane."
Toru Ayanokoji

@Lucius Cypher

Due to completely unavoidable circumstances involving a locker and a general disposition towards keeping an emotional distance from other people, Toru Ayanokoji wasn't especially feeling the impact of the injuries a few of the students suffered recently. That is not to say he particularly liked what happened, but empathy was a very human emotion, and Toru simply had trouble with it sometimes. But this was problematic for him nonetheless, as the inability to properly empathize made it rather weird for him to try to interact with most people over the past few days. His attempts to lighten the mood with jokes and things typical to him simply did not work as well as they typically did, and for that reason, his mood was just a bit more sour than normal.

Or rather, it was.

At one point, he had his doubts that pranking Amane was going to go well or even be worth the effort. However, utilizing multiple quirks and quick thinking, the ragtag team of pranksters had managed to land a successful nutshot on the jackass. Thus, Toru was simply elated to be 'living' right now. It was an effect that would probably persist for a while, granted nothing horrible happened. And with the lack of responsibilities today, that was unlikely, right?

So after sleeping in a bit and then the standard morning prep, he ventured outside. And after a short walk, he noticed a familiar female student.

Is that the ARMy of None? She missed the best thing ever!

Confident she'd get a kick out of hearing about the incredible teste takedown that had recently taken place, Toru waved to grab her attention and then sped up his pace to meet with her. "Hey, ARM--err, I mean Akasha, you missed the best ballroom blitz any student of this school has ever seen! Guinness would've awarded us, I'm sure of it. Also on an unrelated note, do you think Amane is capable of murder?"

Or perhaps a better question would be if he could have kids anymore?... Well, I doubt he had to worry about that anyways, with that attitude.
Zachary Ackerson

Zachary Ackerson woke when he heard the words "she needs you".

Well, that would be incorrect. He had been awake for quite some time now, but he had yet to rise from his bed nor do much of anything aside from staring at the ceiling. His mind was being assaulted by pessimism and anger, by fear and anxiety, and by despair. Things had done nothing but escalate for far too long. People where not who they seemed, some had turned out to be nothing more than villains, while some had died. He'd even lost an eye and were times more peaceful, he would certainly be stressing about how that would affect his hobby and career. But in truth, his lackluster reaction to the events of yesterday was what shook him the most.

The bomb threat, the aggressive, antagonistic tendencies Thomas was beginning to display, and now the fact that he was considering everybody a hostage. All of this felt so... tiring, and distant. Zach couldn't bring himself to care almost, and he began to think that maybe something was wrong with him. Well, something new at least.

This whole situation was bound to explode into something horrible, just like everything else had. He was certain. And knowing this, he figured that maybe someone would die again. It could even be him, and yet that didn't scare him at all. He just felt so cold to the world now, in contrast to when he originally arrived and had trouble sleeping after his near-death experience with one of the Carnage Sisters. He was certainly not the same man he was before, and while this thought had always sounded appealing to him, he never once considered that he could become even worse than before.

But... well, he could only muse about his encroaching apathy for so long. Even if he felt like it did not involve him, the truth of the matter was that not only was he involved, but so was Jezebel. Zachary was certainly not under the impression anything he was capable of could "save Jezebel", but if at the very least, he was useful to the person who had been so kind to him during his stay in this horrible, no good place, then that was good enough to motivate him to leave his room. And so he did just that, appearing before the rest of the people in the hallway shortly after Thomas' summons.

"Oh, I doubt very much anybody needs me." he stated to the man holding the group hostage in a tone very reminscant of the one he used when dealing with the good doctor or the Carnage Sisters. That is to say, he sounded fairly upset. "And play this game with our lives is not what I want to be doing with my time, but I suppose I have no choice." he sighed, glancing at Jezebel for a moment.

Didn't she shoot her arm or something yesterday? I feel like this should be brought up at some point, but I suppose that's not even the craziest thing that has happened recently. Maybe that's normal with clowns? I sure hope not.

Also just assume George Henry showed up earlier and hasn't done anything, I completely forgot what I wanted to do with him reee.

Peasant's clothing... sure is rough.

Alistair had done his best to pick out clothing that looked... acceptable for someone of his standing, but considering the clothes he was allowed to choose from, this was all but impossible. His wealthy upbringing had the boon of fine furs and designer clothing as a standard, so in reality, not even a nobleman's attire was going to please him. So, with an irritated sigh, he reluctantly chose one of the plain outfits and threw it on. At least his appearance might not stand out so much now, but he'd be keeping track of what he arrived in, and had these people attempting to steal from him, he'd make damn sure they paid tenfold.

Still, it was likely for the best, as the house Alistair and the NPCs others arrived in was, obviously, very unclean. It was also a lawsuit waiting to happen if the stitched up chair was anything to go by. The young, arrogant man would ensure that he did not become careless and trip. He wasn't sure if this place had the same illness as his home, but he figured the smartest action would be to not have to find out the hard way.

Complaining about his situation now would get him nowhere, however, and once Alistair decided to do something, it was not often that said thing was not done to perfection. This house would be as clean as it could get... if he survived.

Alistair did not desire to waste time without reason, and so he found himself tapping his foot on the floor impatiently while the rest of the cast decided to remain quiet. But he did not have to wait long, as Fritzi decided to get this job started with a sudden course in magic, which he did not realize he had. She discovered the 'gate' of the boxer, as well as the other person whom had joined them, and then turned to him. He wasn't sure exactly how strong 'water' and 'shadow' were, but it was apparently rare and he couldn't help but smirk at the obvious result --- that is, he was special.

But he knew as much. It would be more interesting to try out this magic, to see just what he could do. But as he was about to utilize his power word, Huma, encouraged by Fritzi demonstration, the immediate area was onset by a cloud of darkness. Alistair instinctively tried to back away, but it turned out to be harmless.

So that's shadow? Strange, but potentially useful.

”What's the matter guys? You're not scared are you? Or perhaps you're just a little distracted?”

He realized he had been thinking for more than a brief second, as Fritzi began to tease him and the boxer. But it was difficult not to think how he could potentially use the magic against that knight that had dared to slay him. His revenge was at the forefront of his mind, after all. All of his actions should potentially lead him to a favorable outcome against her in battle, except of course when he repaid Doctor Donovan for his kindness.

But first things first.

"I'm certainly capable of using it," he replied to Fritzi's glare and, in his opinion, unnecessary comment. "The word was Huma, right? Simple."

As the girl left the room, Alistair turned his attention towards a nearby bucket. His first attempt at casting... he wouldn't fail it. He was destined for great things, so naturally, nothing should go wrong here. He took a deep breath and concentrated deeply, imagining the bucket filling with the blood of his sworn enemy, that damned knight. And a second later...

He succeeded! As was obviously expected for someone like him. From his hand, he launched a steady stream, initially missing the bucket a bit, but with minor correction he was able to pour the majority of the water he created into the bucket, filling it up. "That was simple enough," he stated, with a hint of pride. "...I wonder what else I'll be able to do..." his voice trailed off for a second before he then walked towards the bucket he filled and grabbed a cloth. "There's no point in wasting time, lets get this done." so saying to the rest of his group, Alistair immediately got to work by first cleaning the small mess he made by missing the bucket.

"I just want to eat. What is with you people? Also this is a small collab post, too."
Samantha Howard

Richard Davis enjoyed a good game of baseball and had gone to every game he had the chance to, ever since he was a wee lad. His earliest memories were of the time he spent with his father, both playing catch and religiously cheering for his team to win. Quite honestly, the only thing that could rival his love for the sport of baseball was his strange obsession with clocks that caused him to open a small shop focused on them. He was perhaps not the most normal individual, sure, but then again, neither was his young employee, Samantha, who always seemed a bit 'off' to him. She was much too stoic for her age, and that had terrible implications. She must have gone through something terrible, and as far as he was aware, she had nobody to fall back on. She had once told him her parents were of no relevance to her anymore, and he suspected she had no place to stay.

So Richard Davis being a well-meaning, genuinely good person, he would offer what he could. A small job at his shop was the least he could do for how hardworking she was, even if she appeared disinterested. Today was no different. He wanted to do something nice for her, and he hoped she might share his love for a good old game of baseball. But judging by her reaction to his initial invitation, that was certainly not the case, and it took a lot of convincing to finally get her to come with him. Thankfully, he knew she was especially susceptible to bait in the form of the promise of a free lunch. He opted out of thinking about how this could be misconstrued, and instead tried his very best to get Sil into the spirit of the game. And though her facial features did not reveal it, he could swear as the game picked up and she munched on her hotdog, that she was enjoying her time here. That only added to his own enjoyment of the game.

Regrettably, the fun times weren't to be. The Penrose Platypuses were to face off against the Harkview Honey Badgers, with his home team pulling ahead not even innings in, as was tradition. Things were going excellent, until some commotion had called for the game to be postponed. Something terrifying appeared in the stadium, sending it into a panic. Davis looked closely at the culprits. They were... wrapped in bandages? Didn't those things look like...

A revelation struck him. Those things, those monsters, they could only be...

"This must be the work of the Morningwood Mummies, those bastards! How dare they interrupt this game! Are they that angry about last season? Why the nerve of some people!"

Unlike Richard Davis, Samantha knew what was going on. And she knew they needed to leave quickly, lest they be caught. She did not want to transform while Davis was around, even if he would likely pass it off as something else, like most humans did. It just felt... wrong, somehow, but she couldn't explain why. All she knew is that they needed to vacate the premises immediately. In the commotion being caused by others, her hotdog was knocked out of her hand and landed on the dirty stadium floor. She gave a solemn look towards the hotdog before grabbing Davis and taking off towards the exit, ignoring his complaints. Other people hadn't understood the danger those mummies possessed yet, and so she managed to escape with Richard without much problem. As for the others?

They did not concern her.

"In my day, things like that would never be tolerated! Why I oughta...and what's up? Why did we leave?" Richard Davis was worked into a fit, but Sam remained stoic as ever. She glanced him up and down, then asked him a question.

"Are you unhurt?"

"Huh? Oh, nothing serious. Some rude kid elbowed my arm in all that hassle, though." he rubbed his side for emphasis.

"Go home, it's safe there. Do not return." she told him, to which he could only reply with a confused look. He still was not sure why she just ran them out of the stadium over a little prank, but she seemed dead serious. And if she was that worried, he figured he may as well listen.

"Alright, alright. But what about you? What do you plan on doing, Missie?" he asked.

There was a small pause before she answered. "I've got something I have to do, I'll talk to you later."

He'd spent enough time with Samantha to just barely see past her stoic guise. And what he saw was concerning to him. If he got the feeling right, she almost seemed as upset as he was. What could have caused that?

.......

.......

........

Samantha concealed herself nearby the Stadium, made sure nobody knew where she was, and then contacted Veronica via the artifact she was gifted by the Mint Agent. "...What is the deal with the stadium? Is it the Mint's doing?" she asked her usual tone. But Veronica herself would probably be able to surmise that Sam wasn't exactly in a pleasant mood, if her phrasing was anything to go by.

“The Mint does not operate in the same manner as Chloe, Sam.” Unlike Silhouette, the irritation in her voice was easy to pick up. It wouldn't be for most people, but Sil knew veronica long enough to be able to tell when she was sufficiently annoyed. “I have my hands full with a side project at the moment. I've only briefly heard about the monster attacks, and I can confirm none of them were started by any of my agents.” There was a faint sound in the background. Something like the crack of fire, or electricity? It was hard to place what was happening on Veronica's end. “Is there a reason why you suspect Mint activity?”

Samantha nearly sighed in relief when Veronica answered that the Mint weren't a part of the commotion in the stadium. "I know that." she replied. "Such a flamboyant attack is uncharacteristic of the Mint, more than anybody else, I'm aware of this." she stated resolutely. Afterwards, Silhouette did not speak for a few seconds. Veronica would hear nothing but silence for the few seconds between the moments when Silhouette spoke, but she had just transformed. There was just no auditory cue for it. "But I intend to get involved. And any Mint involvement would prove to be problematic, for obvious reasons."

"With that cleared up, unless you might have need of me, then I'll indulge myself for a little bit."

“Actually, your involvement in this could prove useful. We were just speaking about Chloe a moment ago, and I did not bring up her name out of the blue. Do you remember what she gave you?” Veronica was likely being cryptic in the event that someone was listening along. “You might as well give it a test drive. I'd like you to report your findings later.”

Samantha had almost forgotten about the object Veronica was referring to was even on her person. She wasn't personally intending on using it without instruction, so this was rather convenient. "I see, then I'll give you the rundown when we next speak."

To be completely honest, she wasn't a fan of being a test subject in this case. Her eye betrayed no signs that this would kill her when used, but she'd much rather see its influence on a person that wasn't herself. Still, if she could get enjoy herself a little and also do something for Veronica, then she did not mind.

Wait, enjoy myself...?

She stared at the strange gem Chloe had given her for a moment, before deciding to use it.

It wasn't a pleasant feeling, but it was a vaguely familiar one. If she were asked to describe how she felt when initially using the "steroid", she would have to say it felt similar to using the Black Coin. It was less intense in both the surge of strength and the tainted influence it projected onto her, but it certainly reminded her of that accursed coin.

Samantha, or rather, Silhouette, raised her hand to her features, and found her face had been locked into a wide grin. She quickly corrected that, shook her head, and placed a hand on her chest. She took a deep breath and tried to clear the funk out of her head, but a dark, familiar whispering had invaded her mind.

Kill, maim, fight.

It repeated these words over and over again. Enough to drive Sil mad, had she not already grown accustomed to such voices long ago. She calmed herself down, shoved those unprofessional, pointless thoughts from her mind, and sighed.

This isn't safe.

She decided immediately that this would be the first and last time she'd ever use something like this. She did not want that second voice, that corruption to claim her identity. At least not entirely. She was aware that her mood was already influenced by the corrution, this 'steroid' only made it more apparent. But since she'd already used it, she would have to see just how worthwhile the boost was. So, Silhoutte approached the Stadium, blade in her hand and ready to strike at whatever laid in her path, unsure of who started this mess, but she was damn sure she would be the one to end it.

Her lunch had to be avenged.

"When Lucius doesn't take advantage of the jojoke potential in his post. Feelsbadman."
Toru Ayanokoji

@Experiment 249 @Lucius Cypher@Silver Carrot

While it was predictable, Toru was a bit disappointed to see this potential prank group start to lose their motivation. At the moment, he wasn't entirely sure what kind of prank would be best when dealing with Amane, as he wasn't too familiar with the lad. Ayanokoji often enjoyed more spontaneous pranks on the unsuspecting, but a larger, more elaborate prank would only benefit from more intimate knowledge on the victim. For example, his likes, his dislikes, his habits, and his schedule. And while he could go ahead and ask someone here if they knew that much about the dude, at least two of them were ready to jump ship.

Toru raised his fingers to his chin. It would be bad for his reputation if he were to back off from a prank. That's his whole schtick! Well, aside from being a magician and pulling puns out of thin air regardless of the situation. He wondered if there was any acceptable prank he could cook up on the spot for them, but decided to explain himself to Seiko first since she was curious on how she could implement their quirks into a prank. Unlike herself, he turned to face her. "My Quirk is to not die if that helps."

She should thank him for such a great explanation, even if it was *probably* inaccurate. He hadn't died yet, so who knows?

"And as for a prank, I rather enjoy the suggestion Armed and Dangerous over here made." he was, of course, referring to Mamoru. "A classic nutshut wrapped so elaborately? Why count me in, I'm all for that."

Nobuhiro Nishioka, huh? So then it is the very same boxer I was thinking of. That means we're all probably from the same place, though how much good this information does me remains to be seen.

With his inquiry suitably answered Alistair turned his attention away from the young Asian man, and towards the individuals who were offering potential paths for the 'kidnapped' to follow. Being presented the choice between trying to get a permit, working with Donovan at his clinic, and housecleaning, the most obvious choice would be the pursue the permit. It would prevent future complications with the authorities and allow them to move freely within the city, as well as to utilize its services. So that's likely why almost everybody flocked to this Pacifica woman.

Alistair didn't like it.

He didn't want to be a part of the huge group. He did not enjoy leading people, but he despised being led himself. A solitary path was preferred. And with that in mind, it made the most sense to go with Donovan. That was the clear path to repay the man for his kindness, and the big heart he obviously had. Plus, it did not seem anybody was taking the kind man up on his offer. Regrettably, it was not the path Alistair would take.

Alistair liked it too much.

Call him paranoid, but since finding himself in this place, Alistair was subject to misfortune after misfortune. He did not doubt Doctor Donovan's character, but he did feel as though he might end up endangering the man if he stuck around. Part of repaying him would be to avoid causing him trouble. And so that left merely one place to turn if he was going to accept the help of one of these strangers, which was perhaps the best idea for a man who was completely lost at the moment.

"I'll go with you as well," Alistair told Fritzi. To the surprise of nobody, Alistair was not a fan of cleaning, but given his introduction into the world, he was sure that blindly setting off in this town would probably end with his second death. He wasn't sure how many times he could die and come back, but it was safest to assume that was a one-time thing. Plus, dying wasn't fun. Least of all when he was the one doing it.

Hopefully this path was a lot less treacherous than the last.
