I imagine since most, if not all, of the vigilantes at least know of one another, it would be curious to see what they feel about each of them. Perhaps they worked together, perhaps they don't like each other. Just food for thought.

"I was born to two loving parents. You can already see where this story is going, can't you? Why else would an otherwise healthy, pretty young woman turn to a life of crime? Well, you're right. If things were different, I would probably be something else entirely. But fate is a funny mistress. She likes to twist your path around in ways you couldn't see.

My dad died when I was very young. He was a police officer and he was killed in the line of duty. I grew up thinking of him as a hero. Funny. Turns out he uncovered something dark going on in the police department and instead of forcing him out or dropping him down the ladder, they decided to kill him. Turns out the Captain of his precinct was dipping into the funds and using his ill gotten gains to fund his lavish lifestyle. So I had to lose my father so the asshole could fund an in-ground pool. Needless to say, when I found out, I was pissed off.

Life was ok after that. My mother tried her best to raise her kids, she worked three jobs. We barely saw her, but we had food on our table, a roof over our heads. Me and my siblings would complain, but she worked tirelessly. I knew it was hurting her, I could see that. Losing my father and taking care of three kids on your own takes its toll. Why I wasn't so surprised to find out one day while I was in school that she killed herself.

My siblings and I were taken away and put into foster care. I got separated from them and got sent to live with someone I never expected. Turns out the Captain of my father's precinct and his wife enrolled in the foster care system and guess who got placed in their care? I guess they figured since he was a familiar face I would have a great time adjusting. Little did they know that days were spent working tirelessly around the house like some maid and nights were met with verbal abuse, and the occasional physical. He even had the balls to tell me to my face how he killed my father. How no one would believe me if I told anyone. I spend many nights crying into my pillow. Until one night I just about had it.

See, the thing they weren't expecting was that by cleaning their house, I got to know a lot of their secrets. I would find drugs around the home, I saw the Mrs. many lovers coming and going, I even knew where the Captain kept his silver revolver. It was only a matter of planning everything out.

The Mrs. decided she didn't want just one, so she invited two of her boyfriends over. Told me to go play, or something. I went into the Captain's office and too kout his revolver. I then crank called the Captain telling him his alarm sounded in his home. He drove over here so fast, I assumed he wasn't at work but across the street. He barged in and one look said it all, seeing his wife with two other men. His eyes landed on the revolver I had "accidentally" placed on the counter. Anger took over and three gunshots later, it was done.

The next part was tricky, but as I said, I had many days of planning. I had set up a secret camera in the bedroom and filmed the entire thing. Funny enough, the Captain came straight for me. I had my evidence though. Assuming I was just some meager young girl turned out to be his wrongdoing. I threatened him, told him to turn turn me over to some other family, even recommend one that had my siblings with them, and I would erase the evidence. Bastard bought it and I was sent to live with my siblings in a much nicer home.

So what did I do with the tape? I sent it, of course. Bastard is doing life in prison now.

So there you have it. My backstory in a nutshell. Now I like to live the high life and make sure those that deserve justice get what's coming to them."

Personality: Winter is very open and charismatic, she is not a "stay indoors" type of person, preferring crowds and parties to sitting alone watching television. She is not afraid to use her charm, good looks, or even her physical abilities to get what she desires, and she desires the finer things in life. She can be hot-headed when the issue arises that sparks her temper, and she doesn't like being put down due to her being a woman. She's not afraid to kick the butt of any man who dares oppose her.

Vigilante Name: Vixen

Costume: Vixen's costume is a black, leather ensemble. The top is a black leather corset that highlights her "features" as well as black leather gloves. She also wears black leather pants and black leather boots. The outfit allows her easier movement while still showing off her feminine attributes. She wears a mask to hide her identity. The mast comes equipped with a digital mainframe and she is able to browse maps, emails, documents, etc (much like google glasses, but easier to handle).

Abilities/Skills: Having no superpowers, Vixen relies on her wit and athleticism to get her out of tricky situations. She is a skilled acrobat and possesses amazing gymnastic abilities like doing the splits, balancing on a small beam, and doing flips and cartwheels with ease. This explains why she is able to get around so easily on her high heeled boots.

Vixen is a master of stealth and is able to get around most places unseen unless she wants to be heard. Vixen is also good at hand-to-hand combat should the situation come up. Studying a few fighting styles, Vixen prefers incorporating her acrobatic moves into her fighting style, especially with her kicks.

Vixen is also good at lockpicking and hacking. No one knows who her hacker source is, and she doesn't spread that around easily. She isn't someone you want visiting you, because chances are she made off with something valuable you had.

Lastly, Vixen is charming and charismatic, able to win people over (especially men) with a smile and a wink.

Equipment: Vixen carries few things on her, but she does have a few tools she incorporates. First, her mask comes equipped with a digital mainframe, much like a computer, and she is able to answer calls, check messages, and browse maps easily. She also carries a small silver dagger in her left booth, in case things get hairy (you never know, a girl needs protection). Vixen carries smoke bombs with her in case she needs to make a drastic escape. Lastly, she carries personalized calling cards that she leaves at the scenes of her heists to let everyone know she was there.

Alignment: Vixen falls under the Chaotic Good category. While she is a thief and steals from others, she doesn't target anyone who doesn't deserve it. She doesn't take on jobs if she knows innocents will be harmed, and she goes out of her way to help others, but she isn't afraid to skirt around the law to get what she wants.

Reputation: Most see her as a villain, someone that needs to be put in a jail cell and left to her own devices. Someone not afraid to get her hands dirty, steal from wealthy people and live it up large. Some even call her degrading names because she uses her femininity to get what she desires. While very few know the truth, that she is someone who goes to great lengths to help those in need (especially women in domestic violence cases). Some men fear her, some men want her, some men despise her. Women either want to be her or want her gone.

Accord Compliance: Vixen wouldn't consider her a "good guy" by any stretch of the word. She doesn't work for the government, but doesn't automatically oppose anyone who does. She works on her own for, mostly, her own merit. She doesn't mind working with others if their goals are the same, but she doesn't trust anyone easily. She is mainly out for herself and she isn't afraid to step on others if it furthers her own goals.

Daphne didn't consider herself a hero. Did anyone really consider themselves one? Sure, she supposed Doctors were heroic, they helped save lives and keep people healthy. And police. police risked their lives to make sure the public was safe. Scientists could be heroic, researching new things to make life better for everyone.

But how could one explain hunger? Depression? Drug overdose? Violence? The world needed heroes, but could the heroes meet the needs?

Daphne had been blessed with powers. Or cursed, if you were feeling particularly gloomy. It wasn't until she was in 2nd grade that she first found out about her gifts when she saw her father's death before her eyes. It took a strong soul to be able to withstand the brunt of that and all of that power fell on a little girl's shoulders.

Since then, she didn't want to use her gifts. She didn't want them anymore. Often times she would stay awake at night for fear she would dream about scary future events. Her mother comforted her, her brother supported her, but she feared every day she would see their deaths. For years, she blamed herself for her father's death. She could have stopped it. Heck, she even convinced herself she caused it. What was it about superheroes in comics? Sometimes a traumatic event spurned the awakening of their powers. Perhaps that is why she got her abilities? If that was the case, it definitely was her fault.

it took many years after, but she finally accepted her gifts and wasn't afraid of them. She found that she could actually help others. The odd man or woman she could warn or use her gifts to circumvent any problems that sprung up. She buried it deep though, basing her uncanny knack on pure luck. She didn't want to be poked and prodded by white lab coats.

She got the letter on a lazy afternoon. And here she was, about to step on to a dock. She already saw a group of people conversing. She was late to the party, it seemed. She noted a variety of people. Surely, there would be something here for her?

She walked up, paid close attention to the helicopter, and walked up to the group. "Hello, my name is Daphne, I believe I was called here? I am late, I know, sorry," she said with a weak smile.

This is what I have so far. I will finish her bio later, but I wanted the important stuff out of the way (and I wanted to secure the character type. Sort of went a Black Canary/Catwoman type.)
