Practicality was the name of the game, but that didn't mean she had to dress like a slob. A nice pair of jeans and a sweater did wonders. She still opted for girly clothing. After all, how badass is it to decapitate a zombie in a skirt?

She typically kept her hair tied in a ponytail when she would wander. Wouldn't want a walker grabbing it to give her a bite. She wore makeup a lot when she was younger, but there was little need in the apocalypse. Still, she wanted to impress, so the basics were often fine.

History

How did your character die?: Faith needed to be better aware of her surroundings. She shouldn't have been in the open like that. It wasn't until she was on the ground, a bullet wound in her leg that she realized. And then the bitch walked up. A crazed look in her eye.

Well, Faith wasn't about to roll over and die. Not yet. Try as she might, she fought back. The woman wanted her to scream, but she held fast. Held as strong as she could. She ended up pushing too much before the woman got pissed off and stabbed her through the heart.

What Brought You Here: While the zombie apocalypse may not seem the most glamorous lifestyle to most, for Faith it wasn't half bad. Sure, the walking dead made things crazier, but what was life without a little crazy? Her warped sense of self may have blinded her to the true nature of the world, but she didn't care. She was happy going around, causing trouble and killing zombies.

However, Faith didn't want to die. She didn't have a death wish. That bitch ruined it for her. She shouldn't be dead. She was immortal. Really, look at her! This body should not be a corpse! No, that girl just had to ruin it for her. She half hopes she winds up a walker and takes a chunk out of her ugly, bitch face! There was still much to see, people to rule over. It's just not fair!

Does your character want peace: Faith never believed in an afterlife. She just assumed when we died, that was it, so it was better to live than to die. Now that she is dead, she doesn't want peace. She doesn't want angels and heaven and all that jazz. She wants her life back. She wants power. She wants to go back, she still had so much to do! If this is where she ended up, it may as well be hell.

History

What Brings You To Cairo: Due to a bit of scandal back home, most notably the article circulating that Josephine was caught with another woman's husband (pure hogwash!), it was hinted that she lay low for a while. Rather than being cooped up at home with nothing to do, her grandfather suggested she go see the world, travel a bit. He suggested Egypt, having been there before, and went on about it's history, it's museums and entertainment, and she was sold, anything to get away from the press for a bit.

Life Before You Moved To Cairo: Josephine was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Born to a wealthy family, Josephine wanted for very little growing up. However, the high life is often seen as more glamorous than it was and Josephine's home life was filled with much-to-dos and busywork, specifically, vocal lessons, riding lessons, decorum. She was sent to the best schools and was under harsh scrutiny to live up to their family name and be the perfect wife when the time came.

Despite all of this, Josephine had dreams of her own. She wanted to be on stage for the world to see. She grew up with stars in her eyes. Though her parents tried to dissuade her, it was her grandfather who urged her to follow her dream.

Due to her family's wealth, she was pretty well-known in some circles and all it took was a few string pulling for her to get on stage for the first time. With nothing but her hope (and some of her grandfather's money) she made her way to Hollywood. The bright lights and dark corners soon became her home and it swept her up quickly. A young girl, blonde and beautiful, critics would eat her up. She was cast in a small role in a drama film and the audience loved her. Screen tests proved successful and tons of agents wanted her. She signed up with the best offer and Jo Darling was born!

She quickly made a name for herself as an actress most notably playing the critical love interest or the femme fatale. It was during these roles that she learned how to operate a gun. She was matched for each role and things seemed to be going up and up.

Of course, Hollywood doesn't always cherish its residents and she was met with hatred and insults, women who disliked what she stood for as a poor role model, men who wanted her over their wives. These fueled Josephine more to prove that she was capable of dealing with it. She learned hard the use of secrets in the glamor and found herself able to pick out secrets with some good old fashioned snooping and listening. Using her resources, some flattery, and flirting, she got around most obstacles in her way.

It wasn't until the fateful day she was caught with another woman's husband, a fellow actress no less, that it was time for a new surrounding. With her Grandfather's blessing (and his pistol and pocket watch, along with the training to master both) she made her way to Egypt for rest and relaxation.

Life Since You Moved To Cairo: Though only here for a short time, she has grown fond of the place. It's full of mystery and wonder and it is a far cry from Hollywood. She was treated well by the residents (some even recognizing her), but she made sure to tell everyone who she was and make sure they knew they were dealing with a high profile lady. She expects lots of relaxing, maybe some nights out for drinks with some handsome men, and some fun while on this trip.

What Brings You To The City: Priya took the job on a gut feeling. Having decorated herself as a competent detective specializing in cold cases primarily, she wanted a chance to explore new surroundings. In the back of her mind, The Abductor wasn't in New York anymore. When word got around about the happenings in Justice, Priya jumped on the chance to transfer. Though her parents didn't approve, she was determined to get out of New York, even for a bit. Who knows? She may pick up an old friend on the way.

Life Before You Moved In: Priya was born along with her sister Prisha to Riya and Varun in New York City. They led a decent life not wanting for much, but they were by no means wealthy. Priya and Prisha were close, the two never separating from each other for long. Their friendship grew as they got older. It wasn't until they were 10 years old that that bond would be tested. A serial killer who targeted twins was making their rounds in New York. While walking home, Prisha was abducted. Priya was questioned by the police on what she saw, but she didn't account much. The search went on to find Prisha before two weeks passed. It was too late in the end and Prisha's body was found.

Priya suffered from depression, going to therapy after those events. She blamed herself as she was sure she was the intended target, but Prisha sacrificed herself in her stead. Her parents worried about her and due to their own worry, kept her indoors most of the time except when she had to go to school. As the years went on, Priya eventually overcame her depression, but in its place a sense of justice. Aiming to take criminals down who continue to take people from their families, she joined the police force after graduating college.

Priya worked hard, starting at the bottom eventually making detective after she took down a small crime ring, earning her a Medal of Valor. Her chief noticed her knack for psychology and criminology and offered her a position as a Cold Case Detective. Part of the reason he did so was because The Abductor had never been caught. With his file in her hands, she pursued the case, eventually figuring out The Abductor left New York. Hoping for new surroundings and a chance to further prove herself, she took a spot to transer to Justice, California.

Life Since You Moved In: Priya has only recently arrived and things haven't been officially finalized yet. She still needs to check in to the police and get a handle on her living situation. So far, she sees Justice as an interesting place to start over.

History

Your First Walker Encounter: It wasn't until Tiffany was on the bus shuttling out of Massachusetts when she encountered the first walker. At first, it seemed like it was a dream, but the attack was severe. The bus pulled up and was blocked by large amounts of traffic of everyone trying to leave the city, when a large group of people started running in-between the vehicles. The bus driver got out and that was when the walkers hit, attacking the man. Panic ensued and people started fighting to get off. Tiffany got out through the back and ran with the others away from the monstrosities that started attacking and eating a few of the passengers on the bus.

History Before Outbreak: Tiffany wanted to be a lawyer ever since her mother was killed. She could never remember what she wanted to do before that fateful day, but it doesn't matter now. Some gang thug wanted to rob her mother of everything she had on her and ended up killing her. All she had on her was $20 and her cell phone, but she was killed for it. Tiffany, 8 years old at the time, became shut in and preferred staying home as opposed to going out to play. She became a quiet child, she grew distant from her schoolmates and she would hardly talk to teachers. Her father grew worried and was struggling to pay bills with 2 mouths to feed. The stress got to him and he ended up driving his car off the road and crashing. He remained in a coma.

Tiffany and her brother were sent to live with their grandparents in Chicago. Her grandparents tried to get her to warm up, but their efforts went in vain. That is until the photobook. Tiffany's grandmother showed her pictures of her mother as a child and finally the little girl showed hints of a smile. She loved looking at the pictures. Tiffany began to start opening up more, finally spilling the emotions she was bottling up inside. Her grandparents won her over.

Years went on and Tiffany focused hard in school, getting straight As and going to college, where she focused in Political Science and Criminal Justice with the hopes of becoming a prosecutor and being able to convict criminals like the one who killed her mother. She would visit her father occasionally, but his condition never improved. When she turned 18, being the oldest, she was asked if they should take him off life support. She reluctantly agreed, knowing he would be with her mother.

She pushed herself in her studies and extracurricular activities and when she applied to Harvard, she got in. She was excited to go. She packed her bags and started school, loving all her classes and professors and delving into her work. It was then that she met Zachary. The two shared similar classes, but never talked until they were paired for a project. Long nights of studying turned into walks in the park and occasional movies and the two quickly hit it off and eventually started dating. The two of them were very close and after 3 years of dating, her last year of school, he asked her to marry him. She said yes.

After graduating, Tiffany landed a job with a big law firm in Massachusetts and life seemed pretty good. Until the news aired signs of a disease spreading through America.

History Since Outbreak: The panic didn't start right away. The news people seemed almost calm when they ordered evacuations to a safe shelter. Tiffany along with her fiance Zachary got shuttled on one of the buses transporting people to a safe shelter. They weren't told where they were going to go, but they went regardless. The trip turned bad when a traffic jam caused walkers to have a full line buffet. They attacked people in cars and both Tiffany and Zachary were forced to evacuate the bus from the back. They ran along with a few other people while the diseased started eating people.

Tiffany and Zachary didn't know where to go or what to do. There was panic and chaos going on around them. However, lady luck shone on them when a truck came pulling through offering them a ride to a safe place. They had nowhere else to go so they got on with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The truck drove them to a school that was turned into a makeshift shelter. It was there that Tiffany learned what the threat was and how it didn't just start today, it was already in progress before she realized it. There was a rather large group that were in the school. A quick tour showed they had a large food pantry, a generator, and they were surrounded by a fence that, with proper fortification, could hold the line. They got to work quickly. Some struggled with coming to terms with the new way of life, but a man stepped forward, Bennedict, and took control of the situation. He became the de facto leader, saying he was from the army, a high rank soldier, and he was better suited to do so.

Months went by as they worked hard to make the school their new home. Scavengers went out to collect more food and medical supplies, as well as weapons in case of attacks. Bennedict called for able bodies to learn how to use a gun and Tiffany was drafted. She became skilled at using a handgun, preferring the Glock, while Zachary took to the shotgun. She also was able to shoot a bow and arrow, from her past high school days of taking Archery, and she learned how to make her own arrows.

Life wasn't the greatest, but it was simple. They were safe, they had food and shelter and things were going good. Until unrest traveled through the school. Bennedict started handing out stricter punishments if people did things wrong. He would withhold food rations, make people work the fence, even send people out to scavenge. People started calling Bennedict a dictator and a monster and a small group were thinking of leaving. Though Tiffany was grateful for the school, she and Zachary both decided it may be best to go out as well.

However, Bennedict still had a following and a spy told him of the group's plans. So during a meeting he called them all up. Things took a dark turn when he pulled a gun and shot a man in the head in front of them. He went on about distrust and the small group were forced into a classroom and locked in. It took time, but they managed to force the door and decide to make a run for it. They nearly got out before Bennedict showed up. He and a part of the school group came after them and took a few of them down. Tiffany and Zachary managed to get to the entrance gate before Bennedict cornered them. He grabbed Zachary and held a gun to his head. Tiffany took her own Glock and threatened him to let Zachary go. Bennedict merely laughed told her she didn't have the guts. A shot rang out and a red hole formed on Bennedict's forehead. The two didn't say anything, they just left.

They traveled South a ways, stopping to look for supplies and food. During a scavenging trip, Zachary found a small horde and was bitten. Tiffany tried to patch the wound up and continue, but it was apparent Zachary was getting weaker and weaker by the day. They knew what would happen if he died so he asked her to save him from that fate. With tears in her eyes, she granted his wish.

She continued to travel, coming across a small band of movers that took her in, provided she do her fair share of work. They would move around and gradually they continued down South. It was a couple months when Tiffany found herself in Georgia. She parted ways with the group and set off to find a more permanent home.

History

Your First Walker Encounter: It was supposed to be her moment. Prom Night. The coveted crown of Prom Queen well within her grasp. She looked flawless, as per usual. The theme was Royal Nights. Months spent perfecting every detail, parading around, getting votes (by any means necessary). And then the fricken' undead swarmed the dance and ruined it all. They started overtaking the room. People scattering, screams, blood, and worst of all...she wasn't even crowned yet! She wouldn't stand for that.

History Before Outbreak: The Masters family was rich. There's no denying that. So it was obvious they would spoil their youngest daughter rotten. Faith wanted for very little, usually getting whatever her little heart desired. This turned her into a monster to deal with. Especially at school where she would back talk teachers, force the other kids into doing what she wanted, and would just be a little terror. Her family did very little about this also, usually buying her something to get her to settle down.

Things got more or less better as the years went on. Despite her attitude, Faith was actually intelligent. She was well above her reading level and was passing all her classes. She just didn't care about it. To her, it was more important to be at the top. So that's where she strived. She became the most popular girl in school. The girl guys wanted and girls wanted to be. She relished in this. She became head cheerleader in her Sophmore year of high school. Dated the quarterback. Got homecoming queen every year and finally...FINALLY...prom was aroudn the corner. She charmed the pants off of everyone she could. When she couldn't charm, she threatened. Faith was not above blackmail and she had a lot of storage to hold it in.

Prom finally came and she was dressed to the 10s. The night was going smoothly. Her boyfriend got a football scholarship, which was ok, but she was planning to end things after tonight. She got accepted into Yale (partly due to her family's money) and that was where she would shine the best. She had big dreams.

That is until the zombies attacked. They ruined her night. They ruined her chance to become queen and show everyone how little they were and how amazing she was. She grabbed the nearest thing, a sword, and started clawing her way through them.

The world was in shambles now. All that was left to do was survive.

History Since Outbreak: Something in Faith's brain snapped that night. In a state of perpetual cheerleader perkiness mixed with badass zombie hunter, Faith's family was killed during the outbreak. Rather than mourn their loss, Faith shrugged it off. They would have held her back anyway.

Instead, she managed on her own. You can't be alone all the time though and that was where she met Samuel. Sam seemed a decent sort. He was a few years older than her, but he knew what he was doing. They traveled together for a good amount of time. Faith could begin to feel like she could trust him. And then he had to go and break that. According to Sam, it was about time she paid him back for his help. But he didn't want money. So as the two scavenged the gas station, he forced her into the bathroom and attempted to collect.

Faith walked out leaving Sam to bleed to death on the bathroom floor.

Faith had to learn the hard way that it was better to look out for yourself. So that's what she opted for. She ran into other people along her journey, settling into a community. But she paid them little mind. She never helped out. If she hunted, it was for her own food. She took care of herself only. If she wanted something, she could bat her eyelashes and get it done for her. Soon, the community wanted nothing more to do with her and booted her out.

So she walked until she got to Georgia.

And in this case, poor what's-his-face found out the hard way that no means no when she cut open his neck.

History

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: Though the battle between the Alliance and the Browncoats rage on, as a Companion, Genevieve cannot be choosey as to who she pledges her allegiance to. She feels that both sides have their benefits and their faults. Though she aligns herself with a Browncoat vessel, she remains unbiased. She may feel more strongly towards the Browncoats and their efforts, but her Guild still remains loyal to the Alliance. She prefers to remain this way unless drastic events change her opinion.
History: Genevieve was set out to be a Companion from a young age. Like most other boys and girls her age she was bred and taught to be the best. Her parents were well off and wanted the best for their only daughter. She was taught and wanted to learn as much as she can, taking much pleasure in learning dance and music, but quickly grasping psychology. Despite the harsh testing, Genevieve passed and was sent on to learn the art of Companionship.

Having learned and achieved her license, Genevieve began her work. She quickly made a name of herself in her home planet and was invited to many parties and social events and built an incredible clientele list. Her clients were impressed with her grasp on psychology and how she was able to help alleviate their problems and grant them a truly immeasurable experience. She continued to serve until she met a man named Dom Treyvor.

Dom passed the tests and paid the fee for Genevieve's services. The evening started off well enough with tickets to a show. Genevieve brought Dom back to her suite to continue the services. Preferring to start things off with some music and talk, Dom had other plans and quickly became aggressive, wanting to end their night. Genevieve tried her best to force Dom off, but the man proved too strong for her and forced her on her bed, preparing to have his way. Genevieve fought back hard, scratching the man's face and kicking him off. She grabbed the nearest thing she could, a lamp, and swung it at him, knocking the man out cold.

The events left a scar on Genevieve's otherwise perfect life. Dom ended with a black mark on his name and was taken away by authorities while Genevieve took some much needed rest. The situation became all to real to her, she wasn't safe. Much like courtesans in the past, she could be victimized, even with extensive martial arts training. She became too sheltered, to safe. So she set out to volunteer her time with a ship. Many luxury liners wanted her services, but she turned them down. It wasn't until she met with the Vengeance that she decided the ship could make use of her.

Now she travels with them and their adventures, helping with her Companion training and her lifestyle.

Not much is known about Viper's past. Rumors tell that she was born on Osiris to wealthy parents who were killed. She took to the streets as you often see in these types of situations. She managed to do well for herself until she ran into the old man. I looked for his name, but nothing came up for him either. Everything I could find kept calling him "The Master" so that will have to do. She tried to steal from him, but he caught her. Rather than ratting on her to the cops, he took her in. Sounds like some action movie bull. No way it can be true.

After that, it's a blur. The only chunks I managed to find were from the after effects of her missions. She can be quiet and loud when she wants to be. One interesting event was a fundraiser deal with the upper class. The wealthy man of the hour was found dead in his pool. It came out later that he was into some freaky shit with kids. Can't say I mourn his loss, but the man was part of the Alliance and we all know the Alliance doesn't like this type of thing. I wouldn't be surprised if she had the Browncoats on her ass either.

Look, I tried my best. There's almost nothing else on her. Her last known whereabouts are unknown. She doesn't have friends, family, or anyone as far as I can see. She prefers to be alone. Smart, really. I have a feeling she would take whoever betrayed her trust down. She continues to be a pain in the ass to most people that run across from her, but many feel she has done good. It's all how you see it, I suppose. So..when do I get paid?"

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: Jacqueline couldn't give any rat's ass about who wins in the fight. So long as there are people to shoot, valuables to steal, alcohol to drink, and not in that order (particularly), she's a happy woman. There's a sucker born every minute, as it were, and the fight with the Browncoats and Alliance make for easy pickings on both sides. She's played the role of Browncoat and Alliance and made off with various things. She doesn't care which side burns, so long as she can watch the embers.

History: Jacquline wasn't born as herself. The name has long since left her lips. She didn't come from a broken home like most other "broken" people. In fact, her home life was fine. Parents both had well-paying jobs, provided for her, best schooling, best life they could get her.

The only problem was that it was boring!

Jackie wanted the thrill. It started off with small things: a stolen wallet, a knicked candy bar. Then it cranked up to the point she lied to get things. And the problem was...she was really good at it! She convinced people to hand over whatever they could manage when she would bat her lashes. She loved the thrill. She ran from home, hopping on the nearest freighter out of lame town. She wanted to make it on her own.

The going was tough, but Jackie proved tougher. She swindled and swiped as she made her way along space. She made very few friends and many enemies, but she established herself as a volatile vixen you didn't want to mess with. She earned respect from other down and dirties, even ran from authorities on more than one occasion. She hooked up wherever she could, lied to earn a bed and food, gambled to her heart's content and usually won (either by legit methods or by taking and running).

She has no place to call home and that suits her just fine. Home ties you down. In another life, she may have supported the Browncoats and their ideals, but that's not who she is. She's the Princess. A name given to her from her looks and her desire for all things rich. She wears the title proudly.

Why You Were Recruited: Bronwyn has made a name for herself as a capable Druid. Her record would show her using her powers during various events across the world (though mainly she stayed in the U.S.). Bronwyn's abilities were recognized when she fought a wrath demon and brought peace back to the forest it controlled. At first, Bronwyn was unsure if she wanted to take part in the organization's efforts, worrying her skills could be better used without the need of a group, but with Hel and her plans for the world, it only made sense that Bronwyn use her skills to battle the coming darkness.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Bronwyn grew up with her large family in a small community in San Diego. Her parents traveled from Spain to America hoping to start a better life here. What they didn't share was that they fled the recent murder spree of Druids in their town. Someone was targeting them and they got out before their children would wind up the next targets.

Unsure if they were going to raise their children with Druicic knowledge, they opted to help protect their children should it ever come to that. Druids strive for peace and harmony and to be one with nature, but that didn't mean they didn't know how to protect themselves. Bronwyn's parents taught her and her 5 siblings their magic and their history, giving each child practice when dealing with the supernatural.

As the years went on, Bronwyn took to heart her family's teachings, becoming adept at Druidic magic. She even managed to conjure her own familiar, a Border Collie dog she named Sebastien. Priya merely shrugged. This man, while his concern was probably justified, just didn't know her all that well. She wasn't some starry-eyed do-gooder hoping to rise through the ranks. She wanted this job because it made sure others didn't end up like her: with questions instead of answers.

She put what she had on the table for Roy to look at. "I think the biggest thing would be the video from the bar. I want to look at that right away, if we can find something to play it on. Other than that, I've been caught up on most of the things on the case, but if you had anything you felt was off or anything of note, I'd welcome to hear it."

She noted he took a glance at that girl again. Who was she? She had to be important if Roy was being watchful over her. Still, she had no business being part of this particular investigation unless she ended up being the killer.

Jackie was a bit thankful that the others were taking care to make sure Fitz was ok. She wasn't about to put in much effort, but it seemed he was calm enough to join them for the game. Who knows? Perhaps he would surprise them all and be a wicked card shark?

The people at this table were working together and according to Captain Ballcruncher, they got stuff done. Jackie would believe it when she saw it. She may not be the best judge of character, but it still seemed like very little would get done or they would run into trouble constantly like they were merely playthings for some cruel overlord.

Or Jackie could be drunk. Very distinct possibility.

"Oh, I'm a small town girl, living in a lonely world..." She took a moment for that bit to settle, before she chuckled to herself, "Nah, fuck that. I'll be honest with you lot, but don't let it get to your heads. I'm a...well I'm not a nice person, to say the least. Usually paid to do dirty things in a variety of settings. I can shoot with the best of them, drink any man under a table, take what isn't mine and make it look like you meant that to happen. Oh and I can do this." She took her left hand in her other hand and gripped her thumb, maneuvering it like she was able to remove her thumb from her hand. Such a classic trick.

"Kind of ran into him here when he was about to be suckered and pickpocketed by two dumbasses who were SO obvious about it. Quite sad, really. But that's about it. I tend to move around a lot because life is short and I usually overstay my welcome. Mainly because the authorities start searching for me. Hasn't happened here yet, which is a miracle."
