Personality: FantasyChic is, above all else, a fun-loving person. If it's not fun, she does not take part in it (unless she has to). She is sarcastic and witty to a fault, at the expense of others. She isn't afraid to tell someone off if they are acting the fool. She can be the best friend you could ever want or the worst enemy to make. The choice is, often, not yours.

FantasyChic is reliable. She strives to get her tasks done, even if it takes a bit, but she will do it, especially for those she cares about. She can be inattentive, usually not because she does not care, but because she is probably thinking about puppies/glitter/memes/etc. She is also troublesome, getting things wrong and messing up in real life and in RP. However, she doesn't let bad times phase her.

History

Why Did You Come To The RP Guild?: I had the itch to RP those years ago and no amount of writing was sedating it. I needed a creative outlet. So after scouring the internet, I stumbled across this site. And the rest is history.

Life Before The Guild: I started RPing in the MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game City of Heroes. I played for fun, but I ran into a group of people RPing. I asked them what they were doing and they introduced me to the concept. A quick character creation later and I joined their team and began RPing on my own.

Eventually, I moved from game to game, RPing in each one. I played Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Tera mainly. Each game introduced me to new concepts and I grew my skills in RPing.

However, tragedy struck in each game. I was put into positions I was not comfortable in, I was harassed by people I thought were my friends, and I found myself not having fun anymore. So I up and quit. After a couple months, I missed RPing.

Life Since The Guild: It's been a whirlwind of a time on here. A rocky start found me joining (and leaving) many RPs due to inactivity or lost interest. Finally, I found a place I feel wanted, loved, and cared for. And I don't plan on leaving it soon. It got to the point where I am even considering GMing my own game: a thought I NEVER thought I would have.

This is my home now.

Relations

For one reason or another, I have come to know these people and consider them friends. Regardless of starts or ends, these people are the reason I continue to come to this site day after day. And I wouldn't have it any other way!

@Lord Wraith: Probably the person I consider my first friend on here. He seemed to be in every game I put interest in (especially the superhero ones). As time went on, we got to know each other and became friends. We've had ups and downs, but he will always be someone I care about and I hope we can write again in the future.

@Morose: Oh my pink bothers you? Too bad! I love this girl so much! She is a wonderful GM and a great person to talk to. We've butted heads a few times, but what friends don't? Who knew we started off in Superhero RPs together? I must have blurred those memories! Either way, she is a great storyteller and I look forward to the chaos we'll cause!

@Nallore: This girl is quite the character. She's goofy and fun and a joy to be around! She's there if you need someone to listen to you vent or to just bitch about our life with. She has even become a really good GM, able to create some interesting stories. Put us together and I have a feeling not much would ever get done.

@ONL: We met in an RP and our characters were fated to be stuck together. After all, we only have each other in that game. He's such a sweet guy and his characters are all interesting to read and interact with. I've had the best time RPing with you and I hope it continues.

@Natsu: This guy is so sweet. I've enjoyed RPing with him and having my characters and his interact because there always seems to be an inherent closeness with them. He's such a sweetheart.

Miranda, Katalina, and Mythri

Charles just took a step back, waiting to see what the three of them would do in their situation. He knew the ins and outs of the place they were seeing, Miranda slightly did too, but she was more focused on other things. The main one being keeping up the illusion. Her holograms were taking away from her concentration somewhat, but she was still alert and ready, mostly. Looking to the others, she said nothing as she started heading down the hallway slowly, hoping the other two would come up with some better plan.

Katalina looked at Charles as the illusion suddenly formed, which she was quiet surprised to see how amazingly detailed it was, looking at Miranda and smiled towards her. "This looks really amazing." Kat said towards her as she looked down the hallway seeing two ways that they could go, while looking at Mythri as well, then at Miranda, before quickly catching up to Miranda. "So where are we going exactly?" She asked hoping that she knew the way as well.

Mythri had to admit she was impressed by the illusions in front of her. If this was how they could train, without having actual pencils and sharp implements being thrown at her face, she would be happy. She set forward following behind the others. Perhaps she should be in front? In case she needed to shield them? Still, she felt uneasy during this. She shrugged at Katalina. She had no idea how to proceed from here.

"I do know for the most part how to reach the stairs... But there might be a few things in between us, and the stairway... Should warn you, my powers as I said before are not the best for combat... And I'm going to be more focused on keeping the building or whatever is attacking us solid right now..." Miranda said, and right then a door opened down the hallway, and out came several real looking people, with guns, and they instantly opened fire on the group. There were 7 people in all, 2 bullets went to Mythri and Miranda, while 3 were heading straight for Katalina. Miranda managed to avoid one of the bullets, but one hit her in the leg, and even though there was no actual injury, she felt a slight pain in her leg for a second as the other bullet went right through her leg and disappeared.

Katalina nodded slightly as she continued to walk down the hallway until she could hear a door opening, and saw several armed men with guns. They looked very real actually to her as they suddenly opened fire on the three of them, Kat took a deep breath as she used her agility, as soon as it activated she quickly dodged the first two bullets. The second she dodged the second bullet, Kat froze the moment she felt a sharp pain in the center of her chest. Looking down at where she had been shot, the pain was gone rather quickly, while looking over at Miranda and Mythri. "We need to get to cover or something." Kat said calmly, if this was real she'd actually be dead.

Mythri followed as the armed men entered and started shooting. She didn't even think before she tried to summon a shield. She was too late at first, feeling a bullet hit her arm. She felt that pain, but it was quickly diminished. She wondered if that was part of the simulation. Feeling pain at first and then taking it away. She managed to hold up a shield the second time though, holding it as bullets it. "May want to do something about them now then."

"Like what? I'd probably recommend Katalina charging at them, since she's got those reflexes things, maybe try to take the guns away? Or you could see about using force fields to try and get the guns away from them..." Miranda said with a slight shrug, as the men fired another round of bullets at them, this time only 2 to each of them. Miranda managed to dodge one, but felt a sharp pain in her stomach that went away quickly again.

Katalina looked over towards Miranda and then the armed men as they continued to fire at them seeing one hit Miranda once more, biting her bottom lip for a moment and nodded. "I'm on it." She said as Kat got up, using her ability once more and made a beeline straight to the men, managing to snag two of the guns and threw them aside. While feeling several sharp pains go through her again as she was shot at as the pain quickly went away again.

Once she saw Katalina miss the rest of the guns, Mythri took her shield down. She knew it would open her up, but she had to try. She summoned another shield around the remaining guns and pulled. They managed to get some shots off, but she got the rest of the guns and pulled them towards her. She quickly grabbed one of the guns and aimed it at the soldiers. "I don't want to see any of you reach for those guns or any other weapons or I unleash hell back at you."

In response, the men stood down, not going for the weapons. "Well... Looked like that worked, at least somewhat... We should get going," she said, looking at the men before she walked past them, heading down the hallway. Listening as she passed by a few doors, making sure that hopefully they weren't going to come across anyone else right away. She knew where all of the baddies in the place were, but she was acting like she didn't, since in reality if they had to sneak in some place, she probably wouldn't know anything.

Katalina watched as Myrthi managed to yank out the remaining guns out of the armed men's hands which made Kat start to relax somewhat as she nodded towards the two other women. She turned around and started to follow alongside Miranda as they headed down another hallway, she didn't stop to check the doors they probably would lead to deadends anyway as well.

Mythri walked over, still pointing the guns at the men. "If I see any of you follow us I will not hesitate to shoot you. If you were smart, you'd leave and not come back." Mythri then followed the other two girls down the hallway, but she kept looking back in case they were followed.

As Miranda led the way, she stopped for a moment, listening. The other two could hear it too. There were footsteps heading down the hallway, somewhat close by to them. She glanced around, but there weren't any doors near them, or corners that they could hide behind. There wasn't any place for them to really hide. "...Well, this time we should be able to take them by surprise as opposed to the other way around..." she muttered as the footsteps got closer.

"I'll try and catch them by surprise." Katalina said, before quickly using her agility to run forward, she didn't get very far at all before tripping over her own two feet. Which was probably very embarrassing as she landed on her stomach, as she groaned to herself rolling over onto her side as she could hear the footsteps getting closer and faster now.

Mythri still had the gun in her hands as she crept near the both of them. She facepalmed when Kat fell to the ground. She held up the gun to wait for the mysterious footsteps to get near. Worse came to worse, she would use her shield to help Kat and them. Either way, it was better to surprise them, for all they knew (though she seriously doubted it), they could be friendly.

Miranda rolled her eyes, seeing Katalina fall to the ground like that. Well, guess that was one way for them to make it obvious that they were there, and to alert them to their presence. If only things would go their way for once, but clearly not. Miranda edged out of the way of the other two, and this time, the men weren't shooting on them quite yet, giving them at least some sort of opportunity to strike first. Almost as if they had gotten them by surprised, but guess it was to test out different scenarios or whatever.

Feeling quiet embarrassed after falling in front of everyone Kat sighed slightly as she stood up and dusted herself off, round two would work better. "Round two then I guess." Katalina said before running forward again and turned around the corner, and quickly went forward and punched two of he men in the back of the head. When they both opened fire again Kat watched as they missed her, and quickly fell back around the corner.

Mythri followed Kat and, once the girl was safely back behind the corner, Mythri summoned a force field that blocked the oncoming bullets. She then pushed the field forward, knocking into the guys and making them fall to the floor. Satisfied, Mythri swept around the corner as she noticed they were standing back up again. "Quick, someone stop them."

Despite only being half-focused on something, Miranda wanted to feel like she was being more than a guide through this whole thing, since odds were that she wasn't actually going to be able to do that. She raced over to the people, and kicked one in the face before she punched the other, knocking them out. "So, let's get going then shall we?" she then said, "We're almost to the exit..." She started walking down the hallway, though her hand hurt slightly, she wasn't used to punching anything, and that kind of hurt. They luckily didn't run into anymore people, though she knew that in the simulation that she created it could have sent up to 20 people at a time at them, they had lucked out somewhat, but still. Lower numbers gave them more of a chance and taught them how to deal with anything that came in their way. "Here we are," she said, opening a door that was the stairway back to the main floor and she walked up it, the illusion behind them disappeared as she did. Charles was at the top of the staircase, waiting for them.

Katalina turned around to watch as Mythri went in and used her powers against the armed men, seeing them get knocked onto the floor made her smirk slightly seeing it happen. As she started to move forward when Miranda came forward and took out the remaining two people, she gave her a satisfied nod before moving forward. And eventually they made it through a door where Xavier was already standing there waiting for them, Kat turned to look at the other two ladies. "Looks like we did pretty well right?" Katalina asked, even though they were all shot at some point luckily it wasn't really real.

While Mythri wouldn't call what they did "really well", they had managed to find the exit and not sustain major injuries, though that was probably due to the nature of this program. If this were real, they would have bullet wounds in them in need of fixing, perhaps even death. No, they were far from "pretty well". Mythril followed the girls outside and exited. "No, actually. I think we did bad. It could have been worse, sure, but if this were a real scenario, we'd have all been shot and either killed or taken. This just confirmed we need more practice if we even have a smidge of hope in attacking this facility."
Hi all, I recently moved and am without Internet. I will try to get a post up once things have settled.

Finley Alestair

Location: Finley's Home

Finley hadn't considered asking the PI they met. In fact, she was sure the man wouldn't help her, considering they met when they were all planning to look into the abandoned house which was definitely against the law. Though, isn't that what PIs did? They went through the law to get the job done? "I doubt he'd help me. We didn't really leave on good terms."

Before she knew it, her grandfather came and called them for dinner. "Well, time to eat. You remember my Grandma is an amazing cook, right? You are welcome to stay, I am sure they already set up a place for you." With that, she stood up and waited for Declan to follow as they went downstairs to get ready for dinner.

After, they would prepare for their trek tonight. She had a feeling they were closing in on something big. Hopefully, tonight would be the night it all went down.

Myth the Muse

Location: Bruce's Residence

Myth could only grin as the girls interrogated her. It was kind of cute how they wanted to embarrass their brother because she could also sense they cared for him. And she knew, based on last night, that he cared for them too. "Well, yes, we did, but that's hardly useful information. And, no, he didn't speak much about his family. I don't suppose you both are willing to share?" She was curious. She hadn't pegged Bruce for anything involving a castle, so it piqued her curiosity.

"And perhaps a tour of the place? I've nothing better to do, it seems." She wondered where Bruce ran off to. She didn't want to anger him, but then again, he shouldn't have left her alone. And he did say he would be back soon. She may as well tour the place a bit before then. She had a feeling she would need to know.

Fleur La Mallificum

Location: Port Witch Coven Safe House/Antonije's Observatory

Fleur held up a hand towards Constance. "Now, now. He is a guest. Apart from blowing our door open, which is quite the easy fix really, he has been nothing but cordial. No need to control him, just yet. Now, let us discuss matters." Fleur walked closer to Bruce. For no other reason than to have him within arms grasp, should she need to. But also, she did just wish to talk and didn't want any of the other witches to interfere.

"Marya and Madea eh? So you are their Father? Hmm, I can see the resemblance. However, I am afraid them leaving is no small feat. I cannot just break their "membership" as it were. I will say though that I am not some dictator or harsh ruler. Those under my care have more or less absolute free reign to do as they please, so long as they do not endanger the entire coven with their actions. I only ask they come whenever I need them, such as when we are attacked like we were not so long ago. I believe your daughters played a vital role in ensuring the safety of my flock, so I am grateful to them."

Fleur's eyes flickered with what appeared to be admiration. "Understand me, my lord. I mean no harm to your daughters and I can understand your concern. I assume they are with you currently? If that is the case, then I am glad they are safe and well and you can tell them they do not need to return here if they would rather stay with you. It is probably safer, anyway, given your not so thinly veiled threat. Now, if there is nothing else, I do have some other business to conduct today, such as repairing my door."

Q U I N N P E T E R S O N:

Wednesday, August 18th - New York City, New York

Quinn picked up her order and sat back down. She glanced at the reply, figuring she would get back to Olivia soon. As she ate, she shot through the information until she found the number the husband was talking to. If her hunch was correct, this number had something to do with the disappearance and, possibly, with the murder. And if that was the case, they may have more deaths on their hand, with more planned down the road.

It chilled her. She closed her eyes a second, feeling weird again. Once she opened them, she was no longer in the sandwich place. She was in another room, somewhere she did not recognize and she heard voices. She shot up right away, concerned that she, once again, traveled without wanting to. Was this another power of hers or was someone else at work here?

"What the heck is going on?" she asked, much more to herself than to anyone she was with. She closed her eyes again, hoping it would take her back. It did not.
Tinley Abercrombie, Dominika Novikova & Captain America

He wasn't too sure how this was going to go, for him it was almost like he had been asked to help out at the last minute. Steve wasn't too sure how things were going to play out during this training session or whatever, but it didn't matter too much. As long as the two learned something from this whole experience, then he'd be fine with it. He was holding his shield in his hands as he waited for the others to arrive, not sure what else to do.

Tinley, dressed to the nines in her training outfit again, entered the room, wondering what she would be doing with Captain America himself. From what she knew, Captain America was a Super Soldier from years ago, so she didn't imagine this would be power control. Was it combat focus? Leadership perhaps? Either way, she walked in and held out her hand. "Hello sir, a pleasure to meet you. Name is Agent Abercrombie. Mind if I ask what we are doing today?"

Novikova entered the room second, unable to be a bit giddy. Growing up, everyone knew about Captain America - the world's first superhero. And then roughly a decade or so ago, more individuals with powers began to show up in the news, saving citizens from threats and dangers. The program that created Captain America - that turned Steve Rogers into a living legend - eventually formed the basis of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Novikova's opinion, even if the SSR was technically absorbed into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s science division. "It's an honor to meet you," Novikova said, hesitating slightly over introducing herself. "I'm Agent Novikova - but you can call me Morgan if that's hard for you to say."

"Well, pleasure to meet both of you, so the plan for us today is probably going to be some hand to hand combat training, maybe a few other things if we have time, but we'll just have to wait and see about that," he said, giving the two a friendly smile, "First of all, let's see how strong you two are naturally, we'll start with you Abercrombie," he continued, walking over to a punching bag that had been set up. "Punch this..."

Tinley shrugged and stepped up to the punching bag. It wasn't unlike anything she hadn't done before. She got combat ready, holding her fists up and bouncing on her feet. She mustered as much strength as she could, hitting the bag hard. It moved and she stepped back. It felt good to train like this again and not have rock forms or power usage be a thing. "How was that?"

"Nice hit," he said, nodding his head, and looking slightly impressed, it kind of reminded him of how well Romanoff tended to do things, which wasn't all too surprising since she was a SHIELD agent too. "You seem to have done this before, and you seem to be pretty strong, so good job overall... Alright then Novikova, your turn, let's see how strong you are," he continued, turning to look at her.

Novikova wasn't surprised that Tinley did so well - she was the team lead and trained through Operations. Sci-Tech wasn't as rigorous on the physical side of things when it came to their agents, but Marygold had taught her some hand-to-hand combat skills throughout her training sessions with her. She just hoped she didn't injure herself punching the bag and Novikova tried her best, punching the bag and resisting the urge to shake out her hand afterwards. It stung slightly.

"Didn't expect you to be as strong, no offense, but you're Sci Tech right or something like that? Anyway, let's see if you two can at least see about fighting each other somewhat... I'm not going to fight you, as I have a slight edge when it comes to that, so you two will have a little sparring match against each other, and Novikova, maybe it'll help you get better, and Abercrombie? It might help you out with practicing a few things you already know." he said with a nod of his head, backing away slightly from them. Steve still wasn't too sure how this whole training thing was going to work out, but hey, at least he was trying something.

It seems fighting would be on the agenda again. Granted, this time around it seemed that he was focusing more on standard hand-to-hand combat than applying powers, which was fine. "All right, but I hope we do more than just fight. I already got that my last training session." Tinley stood ready in her fighting stance as she faced Novikova. She wasn't sure how a Sci-Tech agent would handle fighting, but she had been proven wrong during the simulation so she looked forward to seeing how this played out. "Ready when you are, Agent Novikova."

Novikova bit her lip slightly, shifting into a fighting stance. It had made sense when Marygold showed it to her - and she could feel herself be balanced. Yet she had no doubt that Agent Abercrombie would win this fight. Her main goal was to at least not make a complete fool of herself in front of Captain America. If she could do that, she'd consider this training session somewhat of a success. She threw a punch at Tinley, yet critically mis-measured her distance and didn't even come close to hitting her. She was a foot too far away. I am so dead...

Tinley braced herself for the attack, but Novikova seemed to overestimate her distance as her punch never went near her. Tinley saw an opportunity to grab her and stepped forward, trying to latch on to her arm to flip her, but it seemed Novikova saw this and attempted to backtrack. However, the poor girl got tripped up and landed on the ground. Tinley didn't have the heart to do anything more than that and walked over and offered her a hand. "Here, let me help you up. Let's try that again with better results, yeah?"

Novikova nodded, taking Tinley's hand to get up when her glasses slipped and fell off her face, hitting the ground. Fortunately the lenses didn't break or anything but as she caught a glimpse of Tinley, she seemed to space out for a moment as her mind was plunged with images. There was Tinley, clad in all black with a whip in her hand as she stood over Nick Fury. Novikova felt a bit sick at that one. And in another, she was in a business suit, greeting the Queen of England. The last one was the most troubling - it was Tinley fighting Jim. Novikova gulped, trying to put her glasses back on before she saw too much.

"You didn't have too bad of an idea there, if you kind of put yourself in that sort of position, trying to slightly backtrack and getting away from them isn't a bad thing. Sometimes you need to step away from the fighting, at least a little, before you can strike back effectively..." he said, giving her a smile as he walked over to the two of them, before he noticed how she was trying to avoid looking at anyone until she could get her glasses back on. "You should also try to keep those on as much as possible or something, to make sure that your abilities involving your vision doesn't cause too many problems..."

Tinley wasn't quite sure about the whole glasses bit, but Novikova seemed shaken. Once she felt the girl was ready, Tinley resumed her fighting stance. This time, she didn't hesitate to make the first move. However, she threw a punch at Novikova, but she didn't put too much force behind it. Enough to hit her and get her to move, but hopefully enough to leave Tinley open for her to try something. This was more about helping Novikova than helping herself.

Novikova scrambled to put her glasses back on. She kept a subtle retort to Cap that of course she knew to keep her glasses on to herself. As Tinley punched her, even if it was soft, Novikova moved backwards with a small yelp. Marygold had been way less intimidating than Tinley. Maybe it was the accent. She tried to throw a punch at Tinley, only to barely graze the side of Tinley's arm. It was like a baby mouse trying to defend itself against a cat.

He shook his head, they weren't getting anywhere with this. Tinley knew what she was doing, but Novikova clearly had no clue. Maybe hand to hand wasn't for her, but still, she needed to learn more about defending herself. "Alright... Think we're going to end it here, we aren't getting anywhere. Agent Abercrombie, nice job, you know how to handle yourself in a fist fight, which is always a great skill to have. Novikova? Might I suggest practicing a little bit, you might find yourself in a situation where you can't use your powers." he said, nodding to her as he picked up his shield and headed out of the room.

Tinley sighed, watching Captain America walk away. She had been looking forward to this and now it was over. She lent a hand for Novi to stand back up. "Look AgentNovikova, you're a smart girl. However, if we're going to be on a team, I need to know you'll be out there and not falling on your bum every time there's an enemy. He was right, you need to train. If you want, I can help with some one-on-one training. The basics to start."

Priya Khurana

Location: Funeral Home
Skills: Profiling

Before she knew it, Priya was now subjected to children. And not just any children. She was not a big fan of kids. She didn't dislike them, more that she didn't often know how to handle them and talk to them. These though were downright creepy. She glanced at them and then at Ryan and then at Riley. Was Riley ok with this? This was a lot to take in in a span of a few minutes.

She eyed the director, hoping he could get them all moving, as she had no jurisdiction here. She was still unsure about all of this, but she didn't want to step on toes. Not more than she already did, anyway. If all of this was true, what Riley told her was not altogether correct. But then again, perhaps there was more to this story than they both thought.

Priya stood by Riley, making sure the girl was all right. "Need a minute? This is a lot to take in."

Sister Genevieve

Genevieve waved as the rain came down. She enjoyed rain, now more than ever. It cleansed her, in a way. It did not cleanse the world though. These beasts still remained. And as if on cue from the Lord Himself, there were some of them creeping up on her. It was hard to see in the downpour, but she had faith the Lord would guide her hand. She drew her sword and pointed the blade at the vermin. "The Lord wills that you perish, vile beasts! Have at you!"

Genevive rushed forward. The ground was slippery, but she held her footing in time to get to the two nearest her. In a delicate arc, she slashed the sword, cutting the beast at its neck and through its chest. She swung at the other, but lost her footing somewhat, missing. She regained her balance and backed up a step, holding the sword in front of her. "God give me strength to ensure that with which you test me."

Colette de La Fontaine

Colette took the man's advice and took a few, shaky breaths. She glanced around, looking for Fyror. She heard that someone named Marco had him, but she wanted to be sure of the man's safety. After all, she had risked his life to save hers and ensure she was all right. And these people also drove the creature away and saved them. She wanted to say thanks again, but she found it hard. She was still so cold.

As the others talked, Colette his eyes with a woman on board. She hadn't imagined these men (she assumed pirates of some capacity. Or seamen. Still though, did not imagine a woman would be among them) and found herself comforted in that fact alone. Then another figure came into view and Colette let out an audible gasp. She was dressed much what you would imagine a sea captain would look like, but she almost made it look easy. And fashionable. Colette wanted to know her. Know about her.

She grasped the man and tried to stand up, finding her bearings. She still looked at the Captain. "W-where is Fyror? Is he all right?" That was what she really wanted to know, but she was also desperate to know what would become of them? Would they drop them off at the nearest port or was this where they would remain?

Mei Qiรกo and Jacqueline Croix

Location: Galley -> Cargo (Mei)
Skills: N/A

Mei was a bit ticked off that Foy couldn't bother her for a couple of minutes to talk. And, of course, Mei was now given another command. Before she could follow through, Foy bid them farewell as he went off to who knew where. Mei shook her head. Really, the man was not so much a mystery anymore, but she really wanted to hit him.

Jackie, sensing this, intervened. "Look Mulan, he means well. I think. I don't rightly know anymore, but he's annoying and kind of insufferable, but he's kind of cute, dontcha think? No?" Mei eyed the woman. "Mulan?" Jackie chucked. "Really? Out of all of that, that's what you focus on? Fair enough. It's hard coming up with creative nicknames and I tried to come up with yours. Mulan was some historic figure and I think also a movie actress? Not too sure. Either way, she was some badass warrior woman. Also Asian. So...Mulan. She also cross-dressed, I think. Not saying you would. Course, if you wanted to, go ahead."

Mei laughed. It was not something she expected, but it felt good to laugh. "Mulan then. Well, better go do as the Captain asked. Wouldn't want to be shot out of the airlock." She stood up, walking out of the room towards the exit in the Cargo Bay. She would let the Captain handle that issue of Second (though Mei found it weird it wasn't Harper or Dr. Jahosafat). Once there, she saw Foy (Gorram, if he was going to come here anyway, why not wait for her?) talking to the sisters and Fitz. She overheard only the last bit, but it seemed somewhat in character with what she had him pegged for. She leaned on the wall, watching them leave. Once they did so, she could call out to Foy. "You couldn't wait for me? Doesn't matter, I suppose. Either way, all I wanted to talk to you about was you and your role, but you want to talk to Jakie about that. Since we'll be flying together, I imagine we'll have tons of time to get to know one another." Mei stood up. She would interrogate him. Later. For now, she grinned, "Also, Jackie finds you cute."

Jackie, meanwhile, eyed Captain Ballcruncher and the others. This was intriguing, to say the least. Jackie had no eye on being Second, and even if Captain Ballcruncher asked, she would have said "Fuck no, Fuck that, Fuck you and the horse you rode in on, Fuck it I'm out" to it. So it was probably for the best, but she wasn't imagining a new member, granted one Captain Ballcruncher was familiar with, but still someone knew. For all they knew, she was a serial killer and a crazy person. Jackie was sure she was crazy, of course. "Things are about to get interesting, it seems. I look forward to the wild ride."
