@Hellis and yeah, I would be completely down with making a connection between the Broker and Puck/White Witch. Puck runs a supernatural pub where he makes magical contracts with folks using witches as his medium for exercising control over Lost Haven. He's not known to the public, nor would he want to be, but he's using my PC White Witch to gain more notoriety and business (cuz he's a greedy imp)
@Fallenreaper He/Him pronouns, sorry for not making that clear earlier on.
@Fallenreaper True, and I will send Athinar a pm shortly to get that conversation rolling. If White Witch isn't able to get involved by the time she's needed in Natural Selection then I think it'd be alright for me to involve one of her supporting characters, Joseph Mathers, whose moral compass swings a little more left than Marie's but his familiar will probably badger him about doing the thing that Marie would do since they kind of a thing (not yet mentioned in the posts but sort of an off-screen, underlying thing.) That way you've still got a magical "hero" involved.
Most individuals who come to the Red Devil looking for help aren't aware of all of this and a good portion of the time they get cheated in some way. Not always, but depending on how well the witch accepting a contract is treated by the client will usually determine what happens after a contract is complete lol.
@DearTrickster The conditions of her all of her magical contracts are known only to her, Puck (Robin Goodfellow), and the client, but Puck holds the contract and knows it better than others involved, so he's well aware of loopholes. Marie, having worked for him for the better part of a year, would also know of a few loopholes, so if a magical contract isn't worded specifically or doesn't take into account previous/subsequent acts, then it can basically be voided by the involved parties if they are aware of this.

All of this basically means that if the contract that binds Marie to the villain's service doesn't specify that she can't interfere after the contract is complete, then she can do what she wants. She's also able to lie about he moral character while under contract so as to avoid suspicion.
@MelonHead @DearTrickster Something you might also want to bear in mind is that White Witch is being brought into the mix by a villain in order to aid in the kidnapping/tracking, or at least as far as I'm aware. She will be unable to disobey orders being that she's under the control of a demon, but after she completes whatever contract she's hired to carry out, and once she knows more about the situation, she might turn into a "hero" and help Rach out. She's a walking the line character so her level of heroism all depends on circumstance. If she does decide to go hero, you'll be dealing with a magical hero, which could make for some interesting battle scenarios as I'm sure Odette and White Witch have a meddley of ways of dealing which each others powers (being that Odette is involved with the Fae).
@Fallenreaper @Athinar and I have not, although my immediate concern is that, because this arc is happening alongside Pax, White Witch is currently unavailable. Even if Red Reaper were to contact Goodfellow, which we'll need to talk about and establish a previous connection between the two of them, he wouldn't just pull Marie from what she's doing now.
@VATROU @DearTrickster I think I'm done messing about with time currently so she can be in the relative present.
If anyone wants to have any involvement with Hekate for whatever reason, she needs something to do lol.
@Fallenreaper How did we decide White Witch would get involved?
