Current Is it just me, or does MHGen feel so so much easier than 4U?

You just went full British.

I prefer to use "bloody" instead of the "F" word.

Call it self censoring. .__.

...

-Tea sip.-
Or another simple way is to just simply be careful on what you type. :/

Look, I'm not the guy that gets offended easily as well, but sometimes some stuff just gets to us. Again, be careful on what you say/type.

Be careful about what I type?

Sounds more like a threat than a request, to be fair, sir.

Now, certain things are taboo. Racial/Religious/Sexual Preference discrimination certainly fall in line with those taboos. Logically, the only time in which those should be brought up is either to stop someone else from talking about them or using said things to insult someone else. Even then, some certain words that once fell into those categories have within themselves over use over time have inherently changed their meaning.

But do you still have a right to say them? Barring of course the Forum's rules and regulations.

Real life is harsh, critical, unforgiving, and absolutely cruel in the eight years I've lived on my own; (From when I was 18, no less) people will say what they think, what they believe, and what they've experienced and the like, regardless of whatever your opinion on their conjecture might be. It's one of our most important freedoms, one of our most critical which has been laid so often upon the altar of sacrifice called "Political Correctness" as of late.

And that is the freedom of expression. It's a freedom I fight for every god damn bloody day, and I intend to use it while I still have it. Telling me to be "careful about what I type" in concerns to a joke about a state's driving style is just...sad. And impractical.

That freedom similarly gives you the power to say: "I'm offended by that."

At the same time, it gives me the power to reply: "So bloody what?"

That, I mu8st say, is the Pride one has in their state and the inability to here anything bad about it. Whether that's good, bad, true, or false is irrelavent to the fact that you talked bad about the state we live in, and the gut reaction to that is to defend it.

Then that Pride is direly in need of some humbling. Everyone and everything is flawed in some way, if you're so monstrously prideful about something as inconsequential as your state that it is your proverbial social Achilles Heel; then that's just downright sad.

Dude... there's people from the west coast that are reading this (including myself as a pure-blooded Californian), and we are getting quite offended over it. I may not be legally of age to drive (I'm 15 so I have only a few months till so), but I can tell you for a fact that your statement is quite false. Sure... there are drivers that are crazy and/or lazy, but saying ALL West Coasters are like that? That's not right... Its like I made fun of the Midwest saying (For example) 'No one in the Midwest has dreams, they’re content to stay in their small towns forever.' or some other racist/sterotypical crap. Don't be that guy man...

o.o

I didn't know people would get so vividly upset over a statement concerning driving. Apologies then. :/

I'm just stating from experience, and I'm normally stationed in Southern California. But I must say, if you can't take a joke about something as menial as driving, there's issues there. I'm just making a slight jib at the driving style in your state, not at you precisely.

I kind of hate to say it as a woman, but grow a pair. Life is bigger than just an occasional joke. .__.;
Um.

I'm so confused.

Jarvis is actually one if my characters, fiesty.

What is going on????

Nothing. I goofed. Snipped it. XD

Sorry. D:

Minerva has a butler, I've always named him Jarvis.
I've lived in California for the better part of the last five years.

You people do not know how to drive in inclement weather.

"Oh heavy rain? Let me suddenly stop in the middle of the freeway while the lady behind me is still doing ~60"

Or.

"We have a quarter inch of snow. THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE ARE COMING DOWN THE ROAD."

Which is just sad to me...I'm originally from the Midwest, and was coming back from a three year tour in Northern Japan. Where three feet of snow could drop overnight.

And Hana hasn't even started yet. ;)

I drove into San Francisco today. First time driving in it, and with a stickshift no less. The slopes and stupid road design weren't so bad... but I vastly underestimated the clinical psychosis that plagues the drivers of SF. Holy fuck.

Correction. California Drivers are ALL like that.

<Snipped quote by Feisty-Pants>

That will remain to be seen...

Yes...Yes it will.
<Snipped quote by Feisty-Pants>

Don't be so sure about that. ;)

Hey now. With Lamia Scale's numbers bolstering like this, we might win the next GMG. >3

You guys are doing great :)

You're giving Yunin an actual reason to be unleashed, which I was afraid you guys wouldn't do.

I gotta give props to Feisty-Pants over here. She doing her thang with them holy swords.

Jeanne's going to give them a run for her money. Mind you, with Avenging Wrath...she borders on Sainthood. Tread lightly now.

<Snipped quote by Renny>

I take actual offense to this. . . Revan should be reason enough for any big boss to whip out their big guns.

Demons aren't as frightening as Angels. I wonder how Revan would react to Jeanne's attack...she's picked up some new tricks since he saw her last.
To give Caits more to reply to.

I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to. But I'll have Ame move into the mansion then.

Again, sorry.

No no no. Keep on as is. I was confused. ^_^

Looks like Samir's got competition.

Yep.

My money's on Anna. Since y'know. Lamia Scale.

We gotta rep.
