The glow of Flicker's hair and eyes tinged red again when the goblin shouted at them, and they felt the strong urge to shout back. However, the simic hybrid's comment about how they had enough to deal with without infighting, as well as remembering their own struggles when they had first been learning Primordial, Flicker realised that, yeah, maybe that had been a pretty insensitive thing to say. Taking a deep breath, they raised their hands in front of themself. "Alright, alright, I'm sorry," they said to the goblin. "That was a shitty thing for me to say." They were about to say something else when Cascade suddenly burped out three bolts of lightning. "Err..." Their eyes darted between Cascade and the goblin. "Is, err, that supposed to happen?"
One must wonder though: if Beasts have aspects from across the animal kingdom, and Monsters only have aspects from one, would a giant platypus count as a Beast or a Monster? After all, aren't platypuses (or is it platypi?) a combination of animals already?

This is just one of many questions I would love to ask the creator of Epyllion.
I would have figured Flicker would expect Jørmund to do such a reckless thing by now. Unless they are attempting to take the role of party parent.

Flicker: I expected better of you Jørmund.
Jørmund: Well, that's on you.
I, sadly, am playing an overly cautious stick-in-the-mud and thus will not be joining you on this wacky ride down random-side-effects mountain. Not without some convincing, anyway xP
On the way deeper into the campsite, Flicker kept glancing behind themself back towards the fight, a grimace slowly creeping over their face. The weird feeling that fire had given them, the fact the attackers were speaking Primordial, and the strange mutilations they had all was making Flicker feel more on edge than normal. It was only when they were far enough from the fight that the exhaustion finally hit them.

"Well, that happened," Flicker said, fighting back the urge to yawn as they returned their attention back to their companions. It was only then that the fire genasi realised that three of their group had already ran off and were currently near some stall, downing some kind of suspicious potion without a second thought. Flicker mumbled some elvish curse under their breath before reluctantly following after them. "Do you three have a death wish or something?" they hissed once they were close enough. "You don't just drink something that some random merchant is selling you. Especially..." They waved towards the sign. "Not from one who's spelling is that terrible."
Skobeloff was barely able to keep his composure when he realized what he was dealing with. A bearded dragon who had become her Shadowself? Skobeloff could barely contain his excitement at the thought of matching wits with a bearded dragon who had fallen under the sway of the Darkness!

Skobeloff:
@XxFellsingxX

When you say that Fogdance has been taken over by the darkness, do you mean she is currently her Shadowself?

Yes, she is.
When Skobeloff sprinkled the dust into Fogdance's eyes, the older dragon was stunned for a couple of seconds as she tried to reflexively blink the obstruction away. When that didn't help, she started rubbing at her with her claw. "Sorry, I, err, this place is dustier than I thought it was," she said. "Give me a moment." Once she finally able to keep her eyes open for longer than a couple of seconds, she returned her attention to Skobeloff and, seeing his bowl was empty, gave a smile. "Oh, you're done. Good," she said, though there was a hint of confusion in her voice. "You, err, really must have been quite hungry. Now, err, was I saying something just now...?" She frowned, looking as if she was trying to remember something, and for a brief moment, Skobeloff notes her behaviour was slightly different from how it had been moments before. A little less jittery and nervous, as if her mind had been taken off something that had been deeply troubling her.

Then, whatever it was that she had forgotten returned to her, and her eyes cloud over with sadness. Skobeloff recognises that Fogdance is indeed taken over by the Darkness, and that it is exploiting a particularly painful memory in order to control her. She turns back to look at Skobeloff, once again appearing nervous and jittery. "Well, after that walk and a nice meal, you must be feeling pretty tired, hmm?" she said. "If you'd like to have a little nap, I can show you where Tamba and Pleexem are."

At the mention of his name, the face of the brownie from Fellwing's earlier vision peaked out from the bush. Alpin blinked up at the dragons in surprise and confusion. "How did you..." He trailed off and then shook his head. "There's no time to talk. Follow me. I know a place that's safe. Well..." He paused before correcting himself. "Safer at least." He slowly crept out from the bush, and the dragons can see that, unlike the other brownies, he's not corrupted, just a little disheveled and frightened. He glances around him to make sure the other brownies are still distracted before beginning to lead the dragons away.
Jub the Peculiar

Jub look visibly more and more disheartened as each of his companions agreed to this deal. "I guess we're doing this, then," he said with a sigh. He then looked towards the wisps. "The halfling is right, though. If you could at very least point us in the direction of this 'Bavlorna' and warn us of any tricks of hers we should be on the lookout for, that would be appreciated."
