As Kendra recovered from her vision and tracking down the magic eight ball, she felt whimsical enough to ask it question. "Magic eight ball, how likely is this whole thing going to turn into a wild goose chase?" she said before giving it a little shake.

After a moment, the eight ball responded: "Better not tell you now."

Kendra glared down at the object. "Smartass," they muttered. She turned her attention back to her roommates. "Hey, either of you busy? Need someone to give me a lift," she asked. Given the spontaneity of her visions, she didn't like to drive herself, even though she could. Far too hazardous.
"Mrs. Singh's son-in-law, Mitra, is one hell of a hindrance to any would be assassin."

Mr. Dialtone? More like Mr. Dadjokes, amirite?
How's everyone doin'?
"I don't know if I can impose on Kendra any more than I already have,"

Flicker was quick to turn their attention back to Aura. They had seen the sympathy in Cascade's expression and, while grateful she didn't seem to be judging them, felt incredibly uncomfortable. "Quit the suspense, Aura, and tell us already," they said as they crossed their arms. They did their best to put on the best stoic expression they could, though as Cascade mentioned that someone was spying on them, their face took on a hint of apprehension. "Quietly, though, in case anyone is still listening."
Fogdance's expression shifted many times as she listened to Skobeloff's explanation. However, as he finished speaking, her turned towards her tea cup and there was a long solemn silence. "This isn't exactly a topic I feel comfortable discussing with anyone, particularly ones as young as you," she says eventually. "However, given the circumstances, I feel I owe you an explanation for my behaviour." She sighs and reluctantly looks up so she is eye-to-eye with Skobeloff. "However, what I am to tell you may go against the beliefs the Houses instill into young ones such as you. As such, I'd ask that everyone here promise on the Moons themselves not to breathe a word of this to any dragon outside this room."

The twins look at each other apprehensively, obviously having no idea about where this is going. They then look over to Skobeloff, waiting for his response.

Echo glances at Fellwing, not seeming at all bothered by the black drake's familiarity with her, before turning her gaze towards Shieldwing. She nodded weakly. "It might easier for us to talk in my cave, as that's where my power is at its strongest. It's also where Kyte is resting, and I'm sure they'll be glad to see other dragons after only have me for company for the last few days." she says with a weak laugh. She glanced up towards Garrock. "Though your friend will have to stay outside."

Garrock shrugs. "Fine by me," he says. "I'll keep watch out here, just in case trouble finds us."

Alpin speaks up at this point. "Err, not to be a bother," he says. "But I don't know if I'm up for swimming in, erm, a dark cave."

Echo raises a hand. "You need not worry. You will not have to swim," she says. "As being part water elemental, I can manipulate the water to get you all safely to the cave. All need do is step out onto the water surface. I will do the rest. I may not be at my best, but I am strong enough to do this."
Mr Dialtone: I hope I've found you in good spirits tonight!
Grace: ... good spirits. Really?
Mr Dialtone: Wha-?
Grace: *hangs up*

Kendra gave a nod to Trinity before picking up the playing cards. She tried to keep her expression as neutral a she did so, but to Aliss and Trinity she probably appeared quite grim. In truth, Kendra had also suspected the Trader was involved the moment she had seen what had been taken, yet had hoped if she didn't say it aloud it wouldn't be true and would turn out to be the workings of some mortal criminal instead. Visions of doom and ghost murder mysteries were bad enough without adding fae mischief into the mix. She supposed she should be grateful that the Trader had decided to pick on her rather than her less supernaturally-minded housemates. Kendra felt she brought them enough trouble already, after all.

That did beg the question though: did the Trader know from whom they were stealing from? The cards being their target suggested 'yes', but if so, wasn't that a bit risky? Taking from someone who could potentially locate them? Or was this just the beginning of some elaborate faerie game?

Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Kendra closed her eyes and focused.
