Jub breathed a sigh of relief as his spell worked. "Okay," he muttered to himself. "That's one problem dealt with, at least." When Brutrumukk picked up the tiny Bavlorna, Jub quickly added, "Be careful with that, Brutrumukk. I'm going to have figure out what we're going to do with it once it's stopped laughing." The goblin then turned back to his friends. "Err, as for what you said, yes, there is a spell that can get people to sleep... but it's a spell I do not know, so unless one of you has a Scroll of Sleep on you, there's not much I can do about that." He then glanced at Gabriel. "As for knocking him out, I somehow doubt that would go down very well, unless you really want to get into a fist fight with a drunken bugbear."

Jub watched with a face of shock and disgust as Brutrumukk, in his drunken stupor, pulled something out of one of the severed goblin heads decorating Bavlorna's hut. The disgust only further increased when Jub saw what it was: a tiny toad-like thing that he recognized from the carnival. "Oh great," the goblin said as he watched the creature scampering away. "One of those... things." He wasn't entirely sure what it had been doing inside the goblin head, or if it was even a problem, but he thought he might as well try and stop it from getting away. He held up a hand to his friends' comments. "Gimme a moment, this seems important." Producing his wand, he attempted to fling a Hideous Laughter on the fleeing mini-Bav.

Jub attempts to cast Hideous Laughter on the Mini-Bav with a save DC of 12. Mini-Bave has to make a wisdom saving throw.

Appearance: Annie appears as a young woman in about her early twenties, standing at about 5'10" though often appearing shorter due to her tendency to hunch over. She's pale with a bluish hue to her skin, golden eyes and long hair that appears as if it were made of sea weed. As with all hexbloods, she has ears that split in forked points and an eldercross - an irremovable living crown, hers appearing to be made of golden coral. She tends to prefer flowy clothes, often in dark, cool colours, and often topped off with a cape which often has its hood drawn when she's in unfamiliar places.

Personality: Annie's upbringing by her sea hag 'aunts' has left her with a... unique perspective world: she sees beauty and finds joy in some of the most bizarre and even dire situations. This, along with the fact that the world is so new to her, means that she wants to see and experience everything and meet everyone, and has very little restraint in doing so, filled with seemingly boundless energy and a bubbly enthusiasm for life. She can have her down moments, of course, especially if she feels wronged or offended, but these rarely last long thanks to her having a very short attention span. Any upsetting thoughts usually dissipate the moment she sees something new and exciting.

That being said, Annie does have a loneliness to her, having so few friends besides her aunts that she is willing to consider any stranger who shows her the slightest bit of kindness to her a friend. To her friends, she is something of a people-pleaser, going out of her way to make those around her happy, and she will put up with all kinds of behaviour from them... except lying, of course. She can't handle it when people she cares about lie to her.

Backstory: Annie was raised in the Feywild by her two sea hag 'aunts', Margot Minnowcatcher and Ivette Icebreaker, to replace the deceased member of their coven, Sadie Stoneskipper. Annie doesn't remember anything of her life before she was found, only that her aunts supposedly rescued her from a near-death situation and because of that, she should be grateful to them and do whatever she tells them. For the longest time, that was Anenome was happy to do so: she trained with her aunts to do the same magic that they could, and believed all the things they told her about the Feywild and the realms beyond. Sure, they weren't always the nicest to her - Isolde in particular was quick to threaten her with violence the moment she did even the slightest thing wrong - but they were the only family she had and she did, in her own way, love and admire them.

It was only when she reached adulthood that things took a turn. Annie had already become a little more rebellious, her curiosity to experience the world away from her aunts' influence causing her to often sneak away and would often draw their ire, but the thing that finally pushed her away from them was when she overheard them talking about her. She would often hear them muttering about things when they thought she was out of earshot. Through these secret conversations, she discovered how they really felt about her and, more importantly, that they had not rescued her like they had said, but instead stole her away from her real family on the material plane. Distraught, Annie decided to run away from her aunts, packing away any random objects she could find and leaving their cottage. Eventually, she even found a way out of the Feywild and to the Matieral Plane, where her search for her real family has lead her to Icewind Dale.
