@Vertigo Just checkin' in: how're you doing?
So far, this group is turning out so that Kendra might feel the most normal.
Decided to stick with Kendra.

To play my Oracle Kendra again, or to make a new character; that is the question.
Interested!
Busy with work and home. Also was reminded I have D&D this weekend and have no prep work done. I should be able to pull something together so it is not that bad.

As someone who, about a year ago, was running a GMing a ttrpg campaign over Discord and was essentially winging every session because I had no idea what I was doing, I wish you good luck. I'm assuming this is a homebrew game?
While I have enjoyed this foray into running an Apocalypse Engine game, I'm not sure I'll be able to continue. Between the things I'm a part of and the game I am already running, I fear I might rediscover an old habit of spreading my creative energies to thin if I pick this up again.

Perhaps one day I will make another crack at this. Until then though, I thank you for playing and leave you with some parting words from our sponsor...

I did feel you were probably overworking yourself a bit, so I understand. However, if you ever do pick this up again (or, in fact, want to try running a different Powered By The Apocalypse game, as there are several pretty good ones out there) feel free to message me. While this game was short-lived, it was very enjoyable.
So how's everyone's week been going? What ya'll been up to?
Jub: It seems me and Brut are on the same page for once.
Brutrumukk: *thinking he's about to hear the world's best joke*
Jub the Peculiar

Jub gave a loud sigh as he felt himself shrinking down just as he did back at the Pixie Kingdom. "Here we go again," he muttered to himself. He could sense himself starting to get a little more apathetic towards the weird things this realm threw at him. Maybe at some point, he would stop being surprised altogether.

Eventually the mini Bav stopped laughing, and Brutrumukk asked what the creature had found so funny in the first place. Jub considered explaining to the bugbear about the the Hideous Laughter spell, but got the sense that there was little point. Given that Brutrumukk's perception of events seemed incredibly warped by the alcohol, anything Jub tried to explain at this point would probably be lost in translation.

And besides, what the mini Bav said in response turned out to be far more pressing.

"Don't hurt me! Spare me! If you spare me, I'll...I'll give ya password! Password to Mirror! It take you to Carnival!"

"Oh good, you can speak," Jub replied, his voice a mixture of relief and dull surprise. "Wasn't really sure what I was going to do with you if you couldn't speak." He was a little curious though. While they didn't need it right now, he assumed they'd need a way back to the Carnival when they finished with... well, whatever this was.

Before he could respond, however, Brutrumukk beat him to it, "Oh I definitely wanna 'ear that. Don't be shy. Tell us."

"Err, yes! What he said," Jub added. It seemed like the bugbear and he were on the same page again, for once.
